Hi. This is Ink-Dub. This is a repost of the Power Louds with a few revisions.
Anyway, lets get this started.
Today at the Loud house, all of the siblings (minus Lori and Lisa) were hiding in Lisa's room out of fear. It was flu season and one of their family members was already sick.
"Guys! Help me move this!" Lynn said while struggling to move one of Lisa's machines to block the door.
"But Lisa isn't back. She said to wait for us." Lana said to the struggling Lynn who shrugged it off with a "It's her fault." response.
"I can't believe Lori's sick." Said Leni in disbelief.
"Well, at least she can't infect us, dudes." Luna said as she went over to help Lynn.
"Yeah, and good thing we locked her in our room." Said Luan relieved while Lily blabbered something. "Otherwise, she would've FLU on over here. Get it?" The kids groaned from that pun.
"Oh yeah, by the way. Who locked the door?" Asked Lynn.
"Not me, dudes. I was busy texting Sam my final goodbyes." Luna answered.
"I didn't. I was busy grabbing my joke book." Luan said as she showed it off to her sisters.
"Neither did we." Lola and Lana said in unison.
"I was busy preparing the noodle soup." Lincoln answered as he pulled out a water gun filled with chicken noodles to slow the infected people down.
"Oh yeah, I did!" Leni answered with a bright smile which caused a lot of relief to be released. Then her face turned into brief confusion...
"But then I remembered that Lori dislikes it when I lock our room. So, I unlocked it." Leni answered bringing back that bright smile, but this causes everyone's eyes to go wide with shock.
Suddenly, the doorknob started to turn, which scared all of the siblings.
"Luna, come on! Push!" Lynn said in a full panic as they both began to move the machine.
As Lynn was about to block off the door, it burst open. It revealed to be Lisa wearing a lab coat and safety glasses. She's also holding a small container that had multiple vials with yellow liquids in them.
"I see you already figured out that Lori had escaped." Lisa guessed. "Well, don't worry my sisterly units as I have the solution in my container."
"What are you talking about, Lisa?" Asked Lincoln as he grabbed one of the vials for closer inspection.
Then Lisa proceeded to adjust her glasses. "Ever since the flu took over this house the last time, I've been working on a cure for it." Lisa explained.
"And that's it?" Lynn asked as she together with her sister finally blocked off the door.
"Well yes, my athletic sister. This serum will enable our immune systems to more easily dispose of any sickness that may enter our body."
"That's great and all but let's not forget what normally happens with your creations." Luna said as she angrily tapped her foot.
"Well, most of them were harmless might I add." Lisa said which earned her a deadpanned look from her sisters and brother.
"You made me bald just before a pageant." Lola said.
"Then you cloned Lana into five copies which we spent the whole day looking for." Lincoln said.
"You turned Lori's skin blue just before her date with Bobby." Leni said.
"You made Lincoln's tongue super long, stretching all the way to the ground." Luan said.
"Then you made Lynn-"
"Okay, okay. I get your point." Lisa interrupted having enough of the reminders. "But, I assure you, these have been properly tested to work."
"Are you sure?" They all said as they examined the vials closely. Each one of them had taken a vial but none wanted to drink first.
Then, an audible gulp left Lincoln as he said, "Alright guys, I'm taking one for the team." Before any of his sisters could intervene, Lincoln unscrewed the top and chugged the small amount that was inside.
Silence overtook the sisters as they watched Lincoln, thinking that something bad may happen. Then after a few odd seconds... nothing happened.
"Hey, I'm fine!" Lincoln chuckles in surprise, in total relief that no complications arose. By that, all of the other sisters get the courage to drink the serum...and all of them turned out fine! Even Lily who was feed cautiously by Luan turned out fine.
"Lisa, are you saying that this actually worked?!" Lynn said surprised while Lisa gets a look of annoyance.
"No thanks are needed sisterly units. Now onward! We must give our eldest sister the cure." Lisa said pointing at the door which was blocked.
After some awkward silence, a fake cough came from Lisa that was meant for Lynn. "Oh, you want me to move this." Lynn said sheepishly as she unblocked the door without Luna's help this time.
As the siblings left the room, they saw a sickly looking Lori standing in the hall, moaning like a zombie, just outside of her room.
"Lincoln, your hydro rifle." Lisa stretched out her hand and received the water gun from Lincoln.
She opened the water holster where the chicken noodle soup was located and poured down the serum before closing it back up and handing it to Lincoln, giving the water gun a good shake.
"No pressure, elder brother. But we only get one shot." Lisa stated which only added pressure to the situation.
Lincoln aimed at the stumbling Lori who began to make her way towards them. They all began to become nervous when Lincoln took his time to fire.
"Now would be a great time bro.." Luna said as Lori came ever closer. The sisters began to back away, but Lincoln stood his ground, keeping his eye on the target.
Suddenly, Lori opens her mouth wide, gearing up for a big sneeze. Lincoln took that window to shoot the cure in her open mouth, and it hit right on target!
Upon that, Lori stopped stumbling as she promptly swallowed the serum with a gulp and then fell over to the floor.
"Is that supposed to happen?" Leni wondered as all of them approached Lori lying unconscious.
"Yes. Yes it has, in fact. She just needs some rest and she'll be fine." Lisa said granting relieved sighs from the siblings.
"So, what about mom and pops?" Luna asked.
"They refused to test the serum and are currently still hiding in their room. Now if you excuse me, I'm going back to my studies." Lisa reported to them as she went back to her lab/room taking Lily along with her.
"Okay, whose carrying Lori back to bed?" Asked Luna as all of the siblings turned to Lynn with her having a face of defeat.
"Fine then."
A few days had passed since the Lori's flu came over the Loud house which, was not only prevented from spreading but is also neutralized, thanks to Lisa's serum. Now all of the siblings had returned to their normal routines.
Currently, a fully recovered Lori is hanging out with her friends and walking away from the coffee store with a mug in her hand.
"Guys, have you literally seen the new MyPhone?" Lori asked in excitement as she drank her coffee.
"Girl, a better question is who hasn't?" Said Carol who also drank her coffee.
"So, I heard you were sick last Wednesday.." Becky said bored trying to change the conversation.
Lori nodded. "Yeah, I had the flu." Lori responded shocking the other two.
"The flu?! Girl, you should be lying in bed with some chicken soup!" Carol said surprised before hearing a chuckle from Lori.
"Don't worry, Carol. My sister, Lisa made a cure for it and it actually worked unlike most of her experiments." Lori explained which acted as another surprise to the two.
"Wait, your sister just cured the flu like that?" Becky said as she snapped her fingers.
"Well yeah, she's literally a genius after all. She has already two Nobel prizes and 4 PhDs if I remember correctly." Lori answered while counting her fingers as help.
"But wait, you said that most of her stuff doesn't work. What if the cure has a side effect?" Asked Carol cautiously.
"Well, I've been fine for the past few days, so I concluded that it worked." Lori said shrugging it off.
"What about your siblings? They got the cure also." Becky asked.
"They're fine too. Well, my siblings have been getting problems but they probably aren't related to the cure." Admitted Lori which got the interest of them both.
"What problems?" Asked both of them.
"Well for starters," Lori then took a deep breath...
"Leni keeps complaining that her sunglasses has been blown away by the wind far too often, Luna's voice definitely went up by volume, I've been seeing Luan standing in random places completely still..though it may be another one of her pranks, Lynn has gotten stronger, Lincoln...has been normal, I haven't seen much of Lucy since she likes to live in the vents, Lana has been feeling a lot more thirsty these past few days, Lola has had some weird growths spurts, and Lisa has been in her room most of the time. *phew!*" Lori finished before catching her breath.
"Okay, that's not just a coincidence. Ask your genius to run some tests or something." Carol said finding all of these events suspicious.
"Tried, but she just responds with that she has more important matters." Lori reported as she finishes her coffee entirely.
"Well, the doctor is always an option." Becky said.
"Okay girls, can we stop talking about this." Lori said finding the conversation boring. "I need your opinion on something."
Both girls exchange looks of confusion before hearing her out.
"If you don't know, mine and Bobby's anniversary is coming up and I was wondering what I should get him."
"Hard to say… What about a large teddy bear?" Suggested Becky but Lori shook her head.
"No Becky, I need something that would mean more to him. Something he could remember me by." Lori said as she continued thinking.
Then Carol got an idea. "What about perfume! The smell would remind him of you." Carol said as Lori jumped from the great idea.
"YES! But I need a really good perfume. Not some cheap Chinese water."
"What about the jewelry store downtown? They sell really good smelling perfumes. I've always wanted to snatch one, but I'm broke." Carol said before pulling out her pockets to reveal them being empty.
"Well luckily, your girl has worked up some cash." Lori said with a smile.
And so the trio get into their car and drive towards the jewelry store in search for the perfect gift.
...
Meanwhile, a weird looking truck from behind them has plans to go to the jewelry store too. Inside it has three men and they're armed...
"Alright boys!" The first armed man shouted getting the attention. "The queen asked us to find this gem." He said as he pulled up a picture of a red gemstone.
"An easy job," Said the other man with a smug smile. "We get in and take it. We'll be rich by the time the cops come."
"Don't get too cocky, we still have a jewelry store to rob." And all three of the then loaded their guns before driving off.
Inside an average-sized jewelry store, The door rings a nice jingle as the girl trio enters inside. "Hello there, young ladies. How can I help you?" Asked the woman manager.
"She's searching for some nice perfume for her boyfriend." Carol answered for her which annoyed Lori a bit.
"Ahh, every good couple needs to smell good. Follow me." The manager said as she led them to the perfume section of the store.
"What do you think, Lori?" Asked Becky who also examined the perfumes.
Lori looked at the price tag before gulping audibly. "They're quite expensive."
"Because there's nothing but the best here." The manager answers. "Well, I'll give you time to look." Then she went away towards the main door as the store bell rang again.
"Ooh...you better have a lot of money if you want any of these." Carol said in sticker shock of the prices.
As Carol and Lori looked at the perfumes, Becky becomes suspicious as to why no one else was talking even though a customer had entered recently.
She turned around and checked out the store, only to be met with shock. Then a tap on Lori's and Carol's shoulders was felt making them both turn around.
"Hey, did you fin-" Lori's words were paused when she saw three people with black masks covering their faces while wearing black clothes.
It became obvious what was happening as the girl trio were shocked to see what's being taking place. The girls quickly hid behind the table as the masked men had their guns aimed at the manager who was sweating profusely.
"Look miss, we aren't here to cause any trouble. We just want to know if you have this gem." One of the robbers says before holding up a picture of the gemstone.
"Y-y-yes, we do! In the glass cabinet to the right!" The manager said loudly in fear of her life.
Then the second robber went to the described cabinet and smashed the glass before reaching out and grabbing the gemstone.
"Gotcha!" The robber exclaimed as he pocketed it and turned to the manager.
"Now if you don't mind, we'll be taking the rest of these." A backpack was tossed onto the floor and the robbers started filling it with diamonds and other expensive jewelry.
As all of this was happening, Carol brought out her phone and started to dial the police.
"Guess what guys! This store is more popular than we thought!" The robber said as he caught the girls hiding. He aimed his gun at all three of them.
The girls all instinctively put their hands behind their heads and look down in fear as the rest of the robbers approach the three girls. But for Lori, that fear turned into something else, she suddenly starts to feel a bit warmer than usual...
"Come on, let's just leave! The cops are going to be here any second." The two of them explain.
"Fine." Said an annoyed robber before shooting a bullet close to Lori. This would cause Lori to flinch making it a funny sight for the robber.
But that's not what happened.
What happened instead was that Lori's fear got out and surprisingly, a sudden shockwave of flames erupted from her body! The resulting shockwave bounced the three robbers back and having one of them drop their bag.
"What the hell?!" Said one of the robbers shaken from being knocked back. He looks up to recover and then freezes from what he sees. "That girl..she...she's on f-"
"Look, let's go! Let's go, NOW!" Shouted the third robber as they all scramble on getting up to promptly leave the store and drive off as fast as they could.
When all of them left, Lori and her friends looked up as the robbers finally leave.
All of them were freaked out and wondered what just happened.
"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" The manager said gracefully as she recovered the jewelry and the approached the trio. "I don't know how you did it, but your pyrotechnics saved my store and stopped them from getting away with these."
"Pyrotechnics?" Said a still shocked Lori said being confused on what the manager is talking about; she then looks down on her body...
Her entire body from head to toe is covered in flames!
"I'm.. guessing that the cure did have a side effect." Carol noted.
Despite the flames covering her entire body, she shows no sign of pain from her face.
Despite this, something did come out of her mouth.
"AHHHHHHH!"
Meanwhile, in a garage somewhere in Royal Woods, Luna Loud was blasting lyrics while playing her signature guitar. She and her bandmate had been playing nonstop ever since Luna arrived. They normally would play until the singer's voice couldn't sing anymore, but it was a couple hours ago and Luna was still going.
As another song finishes, her bandmate has had enough. "Okay Lunes, can we chill for a moment?" Said Sam Sharp who was tired from playing for so long.
"Come on Sam! My voice has never been this good." Luna said proudly. She was currently standing behind the voice recorder making her voice louder and echo in the garage.
"Yeah, but never this good." Sam admitted. "Are you sure that you're alright?" Sam asked one more time in concern and Luna nods.
"Hey, if you are really worried about me, then let's take a break." Luna agreed with Sam, her voice still being echoed in the garage.
Sam had to agree that listening to Luna speak like that became quite annoying. "Lunes, can you stop talking into the mic?" Sam then pulled on the cable which she thought was attached to the mic. But it showed that it wasn't plugged in which confused both Sam and Luna.
Confused, Luna then stepped down from the voice recorder to do a quick check. "Testing, one… two… three." Her voice still echoed to the garage, much to her surprise.
"What the?" Sam asked as Luna started to panic at the new discovery. Luna began walking around the garage in a hurry and freaking out.
'Lisa, what did you do?' She thought to herself in a panicked state before Sam approached her.
"Luna, calm down." Said Sam as Luna turned to her.
"NO!" Luna's words then echoed into a shockwave that came from her mouth knocking Sam over. Out of shock, Luna covered her mouth before whispering "Sorry."
Then she booked it as fast as she could towards home.
She needs to have a chat with a certain genius.
