March 28th

Me and my parents (as my brother klaus is on a trip in peru to research some sapphire minds out there, and sunny is at culinary school) are sat down eating breakfast when they break the news to me my mother speaks softly "violet, a letter from the king came in, they have asked for your hand in marriage for the crown prince and if we say yes," she pauses taking in my facial expression before speaking again

"they would like to have you at the castle in a fortnight, and of course it's just a trial period to see if you and the young prince are even a good match" i'm just in shock why would they want me to marry the prince out of all people. But i know how good this would be for my family "ok" i say as nonchalantly as i can "when should i start packing?"

If my mother was shocked she did a great job of hiding it because usually i am very opinionated when it comes to my suitors as this has been going on since i was sixteen now as i am at 20 years old she must think i'm tired of all the fighting. "You may start packing today and we will send word that you are coming" my father says without any emotion "you are dismissed me and your mother have some things to discuss."

I thank them and I walk to my room. There is a reason I agreed to be a suitor for the prince. About a week ago i was listening in on my older brother Ethans conversion with a few VFD members About an upcoming mission were they need to kill the prince but didnt know who to give the project too, ut that's not all aso a week ago ethan was wanting to prove himself to the higher ups at VFD. So I thought I would help him out (and maybe even get on his good side)

Ethan is my older brother from a previous marriage from my mother but her ex husband died of suspicious causes when ethan was only a year old and then she married my father .Before I walk to my bedroom I walk towards his room and knock on the door, "come in" as i walk in i see him hunched over at his desk working on something before looking to see who has entered his room. " What do you want violet?" I slowly walked closer to him. " I have been offered a very attractive marriage proposal and I will be leaving in two weeks." he looks confused

So I started again "a marriage proposal to the crowned prince." that has clearly got his attention as he gives a quick response to that "why would he want you to be his wife" i take slight offense to that and drastically put a hand to my heart " i just thought you might want to come with me, seeing as this could be your chance to prove yourself to certain VFD higher ups. But if you would rather not i wouldn't mind i just wanted us to bond like real siblings but since you seem sooo uninterested i guess ill just go pack" And with that I walk away with a smirk.

I'm in my room packing up when i feel a presence. That's when i know my plan has worked. What do you want ethan? It takes a moment for him to respond "i've decided that as your older brother it is duty to go with you to meet your future husband." with that i start Laughing "why are you laughing?" "because we both know thats not the real reason you

want to come with me" "what do you mean?" "i know you want to come with me so you can kill the crowned prince." The look on his face was priceless he was so shocked i decided i will run with that "dont evan try to lie to me because i heard you last week but the real question is why does VFD want to kill him?" he mumbles under his breath " his father killed VFDs heir so now they want to kill his. I want to be the one to do it" "That seams valid, ok i will allow you to come with me you better start packing we will be there for at least a month" and taking the silence he leaves out my room.

april 5th

We're standing outside of our estate as the servants pack our bags into the carriage its a 3 day journey and we will be greeted upon arrival. Mother has chosen a blue and lace dress for me to wear with a simple set of pearls and my hair down. Ethan is talking to my parents about being on his best behavior wile were at the castle.

Once its time to go i wave out. everyone is hoping for me to come back with a ring but im hoping to come back with a better relationship with my brother and were on the road
