Nightwing, Robin, and Orphan sneak around the bay in Paris.
"There is a deal with a dangerous alien here. We stop the deal and bring the alien tech to the Watchtower", Nightwing explained.
They entered the building and saw the deal go down. All three used smoke bombs and took out the guys. As the smoke cleared most of them were tied up or unconscious. They heard a machine powering up. They saw a large guy holding a huge alien gun. It was pointed at Robin. Then a yo-yo wraps around the gun, and pulls it out of his hands. It fell to the floor. They saw a girl about two years younger than Robin, with navy blue hair in pigtails, blue bell eyes. She is in a red and black bodysuit.
"Merci pour l'aide mais pourquoi es-tu dans ma ville?" (Thanks for the help but why are you in my city?)
All were standing on the roof as they watched the police take them away. Nightwing turns toward the young hero.
"Je vous ai entendu. Tu es Ladybug." (I heard of you. You are Ladybug.)
"I speak English."
"Thank god. My French is a bit iffy", Robin admitted.
"As for the question, we're investigating an illegal deal with alien tech."
"Thanks, but I got it from here."
"You know the League was thinking about asking you to join."
"Thanks, but I work alone", she said, turning to leave.
"I thought you work with a guy named Chat Noir and some friends", Robin said as she tensed up.
"Not anymore."
"Either you lose someone or you have been abandoned. Believe me we all know that feeling, but we find each other to help with that feeling. We can help."
"Follow me."
They enter an abandoned warehouse. They saw a bunch of fabric around with a small bed with a small blanket too. An old work desk with a fold-able chair. What really caught their eyes was a sphere with strange symbols on it.
"Can you really help me?"
"I promise. We'll have a safe place to return to and we'll teach you to be a great superhero."
"Okay. Tikki spots off."
Then a normal looking girl appeared with pink jeans, and a brown jacket. Beside her was a little red flying bug thing.
"My name is Marinette Dupin-Cheng. I am the guardian of the Miraculous Box. This is Tikki kwami that grants me powers."
"What is a kwami?," Nightwing asked.
"They're divine beings. They are immoral, but their powers are far too strong so they need a holder, like me. Recently I got all the Chinese miraculous."
Why are you living here by yourself?," Nightwing asked as he looked around.
"There is this horrible girl named Lila Rossi. She lied that I was bullying her horribly and toward all of my so-called friends against me. The teachers didn't believe me and my parents kicked me out. I found out she was working for this villain named Shadow Month that I defeated about two months ago."
"What with all the fabric?"
"I have this design website. MCD Designs."
"Wait, I know that site. I brought that great red jacket from you", Robin said.
"Come let go to the Batcave."
Batman stares at the girl Nightwing and others brought in.
"Look, she has the potential to be a great hero. You saw the footage. I'll help her with training and I'll get Zee's help so she can learn more about her guardianship."
He moved toward her.
"If you join this team, you will give me a thousand percent. You will do as I said. And you won't tell anyone your identity, until I say so."
"Yes sir."
