A Rural Town

A man wanders into a rural town hoping that this is the place where he can accomplish his goal. He was an odd looking man with clothes that make him look like a hobo carrying a stick that has his...underwear hanging from it?

In his hands is a strange looking broken coin of sorts that from the looks of it has a bird on it. he looks at the coin with a hopeful expression "Well...this is the place. I hope he was right about this being the place that can bring you back."With that he ventures through to town before thinking 'But I wonder what he meant when he told me about a successor'

Central Park

Later he stumbles upon a park where he sits at a bench.He had just had a realization "aaaww... I don't even know what i'm supposed to be looking for. He just told me this place had the key to bringing him back but i don't even know what that key is."he sighs dejectedly. He was brought out of his thoughts when a little girl approached him. She looked no older than 8 years old with short black hair wear blue overalls with a yellow shirt underneath. She looks at the man and asks "why do you have underwear on your stick."he chuckles " well I usually keep it there when i need it dyed. I have a saying that all one needs to live off of is some cash and a fresh pair of underwear."The girl giggles "your funny whats your name?" "I'm Eiji Hino , nice to meet you." "Nice to meet you Mr.Hino ,My name is Michiru Kagemori."

"Just Eiji is fine I prefer it." she nods her head "Alright ,so what are you doing? You seem kind of sad."She says with a concerned voice. Eiji smiles at the girl "well i'm looking for something to help a friend of mine but I don't know where to look."Hearing this Michiru takes a thoughtful expression that admittedly looked kinda cute on the 8-year old. She then brightens "Oh I know we could go to the forest near here. I've been there before the river brings some cool stuff there sometimes. Like this one time I found a basketball there." Eiji thinks it over and thinks that it was better than nothing "where is it?" She runs out of the park saying "come on follow me." " Wha-Hey wait a minute what about your parents?!You shouldn't run off into the forest alone!" He yells as he runs after her.

The Forest

After arriving in the forest the two explore it looking for what they need. Though this proved to be difficult as neither of them knew when they were looking for. While walking Michiru decided to start a conversation "So what's that friend of yours like, the one your trying to help I mean." Eiji give an amused chuckle thinking back "Well he wasn't what you would call a people person. He had a tendency to be a little mean to people sometimes but underneath that he was a good person..If I had never met him I probably would have never helped all the people I did nor remember my desire." Michiru looked at him confused "Your desire?" he nodded "I wanted power. The power to reach my hand out to anyone who needs me,no matter what." Michiru was in awe at Eiji as she had never met someone like him. Eiji looks at Michiru "What about you, what's your desire?" Michiru thought about it and then thought about it "I don't know if I really have one." She asked. Eiji looks surprised but then smiles. "you know I was like that before I remembered mind. So how about this when you finally find out your desire yell it as loud as you can that way you can remember it. Ok?" she looked at him then smiles at him with a determined look "Right!".

They are then interrupted when they here something. They go to investigate and find some shady looking people. two of them were wearing black hoods with one of them being a man and the other a woman and had crossbows, another two had clothes similar to a stereotypical biker gang with a pipe and a bat respectively, the last one what they could assume was the leader was bulky and had some brass knuckles on him. They then were horrified to see that they were hold some kids in a cage inside a truck. the boss spoke "He those disguises are pretty convincing if i didn't know what you animals truly were I would have assumed your human but that doesn't matter. I know black market doctor that would love to see how you tick."

Eiji would have wondered about the not human part of that sentence but he was too focused on the fact that he had to save those kids. He looked at Michiru and looked at her "Michiru you run as fast as you can i'll handle these guys." What but I wanna help." Eiji shook his head "It's too dangerous now go." not giving her a chance to protest he runs in. "Hey! What do you think you guys are doing to those kids?!" They look at Eiji with the biker wannabe raising their weapons "well well well looks like we got ourselves a do gooder here." "why don't you get lost this ain't any of your business." Eiji stands his ground "I don't care who you or what you are doing all I know is that you intend to hurt these and I won't let you!" He charges at them .

The bat thug goes for a swing of his bat but Eiji ducks under the swing and then delivers a right hook to his face knocking him to the ground. The pipe thug goes for an overhead strike "You'll Pay For That!!"he swings the pipe but Eiji moves out of the way in time and delivers a kick to his stomach knocking him back. What neither Eiji nor the kidnappers knew was that instead of fleeing like she was told to, Michiru sneaked over to the cage holding the kids and went to get them out. Luckily for her she found some bolt cutters in the driver's seat of the truck. Using them and all her strength she managed to break the lock and opened the cage for the kids. "Hurry get out of here but be quiet so they don't catch you."she whispered to them as they all nodded and left as quickly and quietly as they could. But before Michiru and the last kid could leave they were suddenly grabbed and lifted off the ground. "Thought you could run didn't you ya little brats." said the female hooded women.

Michiru was thrown to the ground and held in place by the woman's foot as she gave the other child to her boss "The others escaped but I managed to snag this girl before she could." she spoke. "They'll have to do we still get paid either way." he goes to put them back in the cage . "Stop!Let them go!" screamed Eiji who is being restrained buy the hooded man the bat thug. The girl reaches their hand out to the two and they do the same as they try to get free and help the poor child. 'Stop..Let...Her Go.' "Hey brat quit your squirming or else!" 'I want to help her...I want to save her...I Want...I WANT.' At that Moment Michiru remembers what Eiji told her.

"I wanted power. The power to reach my hand out to anyone who needs me,no matter what."

"What about you, what's your desire?"

"you know I was like that before I remembered mind. So how about this when you finally find out your desire yell it as loud as you can that way you can remember it. Ok?"

"I WANT SAME POWER AS EIJI ,I WANT THE POWER TO REACH OUT MY HAND AND SAVE ANYONE" Michiru cried out as for even the heavens to here. Suddenly a bright light shined as something flew Eiji's person it was reveled to be the two pieces of the strange coin.But unlike before they came together and the cracks mended putting the fragments together where you could clearly see the image of what looks like a hawk

Suddenly silver like medals start to form as a bird like creature then takes form

The creature stepped forward towards them with kidnappers being both schocked and frightend by it's arrival and form. "H-He doesn't look so tough. Hey bird brain have a piece of this." The foolish pipe wielding thug charged at the monster with his pipe raised and struck them with it...

CLANG!

Only for it to break off upon impact for the piece to to clang on the ground. The bird , the bird monster looked at him looking like he barely even noticed the pipe much less felt the impact of it. It then spoke "Hehe..It always amazes me how stupid some humans can." the creature grabbed by the throat through him at the ones holding Eiji thus knocking them off him. The women lifted her foot off of Michiru and backed away while going for her crossbow. Eiji stood up looking at the bird creature in shock but also recognition. "...Ankh...Is that really you?" the bird creature,Now revealed as Ankh, looked at him and chuckled "Of course it's really me Eiji. Who else would it be." Eiji Smiles and tears start welling up in his eyes. An arrow then shoots straight for Ankh but he catches it without much effort and sees that it came from the hooded woman who is now trembling in fear. Ankh scoffs and the trows it back at her wity great speed that not only destroys the crossbow but launches her into a tree knocking her out." Hmph...pathetic."

They then see the boss come back "Alright Fellas get in the truck we gotta mo-" he interupted himself when he saw the scene before him. He quickly takes out his brass knuckles "Hey bird face you the one who did this." Ankh looks disinterested "And what if I am?"The Boss then goes to deliver a punch at Ankh but Ankh catches his fist not even feeling an ounce of pain from the brass knuckle. Ankh then squeezes his hand causing the kidnapper boss to fall to his knees and howl in pain. Ankh sighs "And I was hoping my first fight after coming back would be more entertaining,"The boss then tries to take out a pistol he had behind his back but Michiru saw this and acted quick.The boss then suddenly aims his gun at Ankh's face but before he could the pull the trigger

WHACK!!

Both Eiji and Ankh are stunned as they see Michiru with one of the Thugs bat as she had just knocked the kidnapper boss out with it. Michiru then tries to calm down her breathing "...He had..A gun...behind his back." Ankh just stares at her at her "I have no idea who this little girl is but I must admit I'm a little impressed she had the guts to do that." Eiji snaps out of his shock "Oh right Ankh this is Michiru Kagemori a little girl I met today. Michiru this is Ankh the friend I told you about."Michiru looked shocked that the friend he was talking about all this time was this weird bird creature. She then remembers something "Wait that little girl from earlier she might be locked up again we have to free her." she then runs off to where the cage is. "Wait what little girl can someone explain what's going on?"Ankh cried as Eiji ran after Michiru while shouting to Ankh"I'll explain on the way just c'mon."

After freeing the girl and making sure she is safe,the girl runs off to her house near the forest. Michiru,Eiji,and Ankh rest by a campfire Ankh made to have a talk. Eiji looks at Ankh "Ankh..I'm glad to have you back but...how are you back?" Ankh looks at Eiji confused "That's what I'd like to know. I know I felt your desire which helped but it felt like there was another that was just like yours only it felt different.It's possible the strength of both of the desires was able to restore me." When he says that Michiru looks up. That sounds like..."Um...That might have been me." They both look at Michiru surprised "I realized my desire before Ankh arrived I wanted to the same thing as Eiji...to have the power to reach out to those that need me. I know it kinda sounds like i'm just borrowing his desire but I know without a doubt in my mind that I want it too."Michiru says with a determined look.

Eiji and Ankh were both shocked and impressed, it could be their imagination but for a single second in Michiru's place was a younger Eiji. That's when Eiji has a realization and gives a harty laugh confusing the other two. "Ankh can I speak to you in private for a moment." Eiji then drags Ankh out of sight where Michiru can only hear faint whispers...Until "WHAT!!!!!!!" she is startled as she hears Ankh's loud scream then more whispers continue. After a few minutes they step out. Eiji clears his throat "Michiru Before coming here I was told about people like me deciding to choose successors and I have decided to make you mine." Michiru was understandably confused. Successor? Successor to what? Eiji then pulls out a strange device and hands it to her it looks like a pocket watch of some kind with a dial and a on top button and on the face were a strange symbol on top and the year 2010 on the bottom. Curios she turns the dial and pressed the button.

A blinding light takes her vision and she shields her eyes. Once the flash clears she is shocked to find that in the watch place is a strange belt and three medals That's

Eiji and Ankh are especially shocked but mostly at the medals. Ankh the swipes the one that looked like his and inspected. After a long while of inspecting he looks at Eiji "this Zi-O guy is something else I can feel my power in this one but I know if this one were destroyed It somehow wouldn't affect" Eiji is surprised by this fact. Ankh then flips the medal to Michiru who caught it and looked at them. "You better keep that safe brat I very much doubt you'll get another one." Eiji smiles at Ankh and then looks at Michiru "When the time is right you'll know what to do. I have little doubt you'll uphold my legacy. For now let's get you home your parents are probably worried about you." Whatever questions she was gonna ask were cut off when she heard that and had a foreboding look on her face " Oh no my mom is gonna kill me." Ankh then did in his opinion the most sensible thing to do at Michiru dilemma...He laughed at her misfortune.

Michiru's Neighborhood

After they drop Michiru off at her house they leave to head out of the town,which was probably good seeing as they were able to leave before witnessing the terrifying image of Michiru's enraged mother. While walking Ankh than looks at Eiji "Hey, you really think that girl will be a good rider, You do remember she is still an 8-year old right?" Eiji chuckles "Yeah I know but I just know that when people need her she'll be there to help them." Ankh then looks at the full moon and says "If you say so." Eiji then smiles excitedly at Ankh "Also everyone is going to be so happy that your back especially Hina." Ankh just smirks "Who wouldn't be elated my return. However more importantly I'm still waiting for those ice creams I was promised." "what do you mean 'more' Importantly" They then have a good laugh as today they celebrate their reunion.

I really like BNA and I highly recommend it for those who have not watched it yet. If it wasn't Already obvious I plan to make a crossover for every Heisei Rider which I know will be tough but i'm ready for it.
