Hello, everyone in FanFiction, DeviantART, Wattpad, and Archive Of Our Own! PHANTOMKNIGHTMARE47 here, with a new RWBY crossover. This one is known as RWBY: Beasts Of Remnant! It's a crossover between RWBY and the Transformers franchise, specifically Beast Wars: Transformers! The plot of the story goes like this: During their second year at Beacon Academy, Team RWBY, alongside Team JNPR and their friends are trying to go through their studies in school, while facing off against the Creatures Of Grimm, Roman Torchwick's group, and the White Fang, and they also tackle schoolwork, and the upcoming Vytal Festival. But, one day, the Huntsmen and Huntresses of Remnant get word of there being two meteorites having crashed in separate locations, with one of them being in the Mountain Glenn. The Huntsmen and Huntresses then meet Optimus Primal and his squadron of Maximals, the crew of the Axalon, a research vessel, which has been tailing the Predacon leader, Megatron, and his faction of Predacons. Now, Ruby and co. must team up with the Maximals to save the Kingdoms of Remnant from Megatron's forces, as well as the White Fang, Torchwick, Cinder, and even Salem. Chapter 1: More Than Meets The Eye!
Location: Beacon Academy, Vale
The World Of Remnant
It shows a combat school in the kingdom of Vale, which was located in the center of the World of Remnant. This was Beacon Academy, a combat school that mentored youths into becoming Huntsmen and Huntresses, and mentored them into fighting against monsters known as the Creatures of Grimm.
We turn to see one of these Huntresses in training. She had black hair with red tips, and silver-colored eyes. She wore a black-and-red lined lace-up corset with four buckles with a mesh sleeveless top, a low-cut long-sleeved blouse, a black choker on her neck, a red pleated skirt, fingerless gloves, and black thigh-high steel-toed boots. This was Ruby Rose, a Huntress-in-training who led Team RWBY, composed of herself, Weiss Schnee, the former heiress of the Schnee Dust Company, Blake Belladonna, a Bombay cat Faunus who defected from the White Fang, and Ruby's elder paternal half-sister, Yang Xiao-Long.
"It's been a year since me and the others had first started classes at Beacon." said Ruby, remembering hers and her friends' first year at Beacon Academy. "I'm excited for the Vytal Festival. And, at the same time, I'm a little nervous." she admitted.
"You OK, Ruby?" asked a voice belonging to Jaune Arc. Jaune was a wishy-washy boy who wanted to live up to his family's legacy, so he ended up having to use forged transcripts to get into Beacon Academy. Jaune had blonde-colored hair and blue eyes. He wore a black short-sleeved hoodie with a rabbit on it that he got from sending in several box-tops of Pumpkin Pete's Marshmallow Flakes under a white breastplate, and two white spaulders on his arms, blue jeans, and white sneakers. Jaune was the leader of Team JNPR, which was composed of himself, Nora Valkyrie, a talkative girl, Pyrrha Nikos, a professional athlete, and Lie Ren, Nora's friend.
"Yeah. I'm a little excited and nervous about the Vytal Festival." said Ruby, admittedly.
"Same here. But, it'll be a good time to show off our skills." said Jaune. "I also heard we're getting some new classmates that have transferred from Signal Academy."
"Awesome!" said Ruby, elated.
Meanwhile, in deep space, high above the orbit of Remnant, we look to see two ships engaged in an intense dogfight.
"Hull breach in Sector Seven! Guidance systems are failing!" said a male voice with a teenage surfer-boy tone.
"Oh man, this is absolutely ridiculous!" said a snarky-sounding voice, as a figure was pressing buttons on the console. "We're an exploration ship, not a battle-cruiser!"
"No choice!" said a voice similar to Hellboy, but with a stern, manly general kind of voice, belonging to a robot with a gray and black color-scheme and green eyes.. "Our ship was the only one that can lock onto Megatron's warp-signature!"
"Shields are doing a major fade!" said the surfer-boy sounding voice.
"Plasma cannons to full-power!" said the manly voice.
"Right away," said another voice, belonging to a male robot with a brown, gold and green color-scheme.
Meanwhile, on the bird-looking ship, we see a figure on the command chair with a red and gold color-scheme on the command chair with several other robots.
"Their shields are down. Destroy them." said a blue and brown colored robot.
"Now where's the fun in that?" said the red and gold robot in a militaristic English accent. "A little torment, I think first? Yesssss….FIRE THE SIDE GUNS!"
The ships kept on fighting against each other, until they wound up blowing each other's engines out.
"SCRAP! We're going down!" yelped the snarky-sounding voice.
"We'll have to make an emergency landing. But where?" said the commanding voice.
"Optimus, we're over a colony known as 'Remnant'." said a female voice.
"Then that's where we're going." said the lead robot, Optimus. "Everyone got their alt-modes ready?"
"Yep." said the surfer-sounding robot. These robots were Cybertronians, in this case, they were Maximals, who became animals. Optimus was a Gigantopithecus Blacki, an extinct species of giant ape, whereas Cheetor was a giant cheetah, Rhinox was a wooly rhinoceros, Rattrap was a Tenerife giant rat, Airazor was a peregrine falcon, Tigatron was a Siberian white tiger, Silverbolt was a condor, Wolfang was a dire wolf, Leobreaker was a Barbary Lion, Polar Claw was a polar bear, Depth-Charge was a manta-ray, Dinobot was a feathered Velociraptor, Nyx was a Vulcanops, Blackarachnia was a Mongolarachne. They hailed from a Cybertronian colony known as the Jungle Planet.
The Maximals' ship, the Axalon, landed near the base of the Mountain Glenn, whereas the Predacons' ship, the Darksyde, landed somewhere else.
Later, at Beacon Academy, we look to see Team RWBY and Team JNPR meeting the new transfer-students.
"My name's Arthur. Arthur Goldragon." said the first youth, sounding like Adrien Agreste. Arthur had golden-blonde hair and cyan eyes. He wore gold and silver armor that looked like Jaune's crossed with Rhys from Phantasy Star over an indigo-blue sweater, with a small auburn cape, blue-gray jeans, fingerless driving gloves, and steel-toed combat boots.
"My name's Argent Akela, it's a pleasure to meet you." said the second youth, sounding like Legoshi from BEASTARS. Argent was a Faunus based on an American gray wolf. He had silver-gray colored hair, golden yellow eyes, and light-tan skin. His Faunus trait was a pair of wolf ears on top of his head. He wore silver, dark gray, and white clothing similar to Yozora from Kingdom Hearts III.
"My name is Brandon Stoker." said the third youth, sounding similar to Marshall Lee from Adventure Time: Fionna & Cake. Brandon was a Faunus based on a vampire bat. He had black hair with red at the tips, and crimson red eyes, and wore crimson red and jet black clothes. His Faunus trait was a set of bat wings sprouting from his back.
"My name is Bagheera Boseman." said the fourth youth. Bagheera had black hair and golden yellow eyes, and wore black and gray clothing. His Faunus trait was retractable claws in his fingertips, like Tukson and Blake's father, Ghira.
"These are the new students who transferred here from Signal Academy." said one of the teachers of Beacon, Prof. Glynda Goodwitch. "We also have a teacher who transferred to Beacon as well."
"My name is Grayson Ashford, and I will be your combat teacher." said a voice similar to Kakashi Hatake. Grayson had silver-gray hair, with amethyst purple eyes, and stubble on his chin. He wore gray, silver and white clothing with a gray trenchcoat. His entire right arm, and his legs were bionic.
(Author's Note: Grayson's bionic arm looks like Javier "Javi" Garcia/Dino Fury Black Ranger/Cosmic Fury Black Ranger's bionic arm from Power Rangers: Cosmic Fury mixed with Edward Elric's automail prosthetic arm from Fullmetal Alchemist. His bionic legs look like the cybernetic lower legs that Darth Maul has in Star Wars: Rebels.)
"Glad we have some new faces, and a new combat instructor here in Beacon." said Yang. Yang had long, blonde hair and lilac eyes, and she wore a tan jacket over an orange crop-top, a brown belt, jeans, and combat boots. She also had a bright yellow and black-colored bionic right arm. Yang was Ruby's paternal older half-sister. The reason behind her bionic arm was because her original right arm was sliced off by Adam Taurus.
"Looks like our first mission as new students is to investigate a crash-site in the Mountain Glenn, where an unknown spacecraft had crashed there." said Arthur.
"And that's where we'll be going." said Argent.
"We'll tag along with you." said Ruby, as Blake, Weiss, Nora, Pyrrha, and Ren arrived.
Meanwhile, on the planet Cybertron, we see Megatron speaking to the Predacon High Council via holo-transmission.
"Like my namesake, I will be the one who will lead our people to the glory that you three have so desperately pined for, but NEVER had the strength to seize. If this Golden Disk contains half of what I believe is true, then our victory is all but assured. Yesssss…." said Megatron. "The rise of the Predacons is at hand. When next time we meet: You'll thank me. And then…you will bow before me." he then ended the transmission. One of the councilmen was looking at the datapad, whereas another looked ready to punch someone's lights out.
"He speaks the truth. There is already an attack on the Great Shipyard." said the first councilman. "Nearly every Transwarp-capable ship has been completely destroyed."
"THAT INSIGNIFICANT SPECK OF DIRT THINKS THAT WE'LL BOW TO HIM!?" the second councilman raged, pounding his fist on the table. TO HIM!?" he pounded the table again, cracking it.
"Be calm. Galavar's initiative may prove worthy to our cause. But he lacks the temperance to lead the Predacons to victory." said the third councilman. "He never has been one to truly play the Waiting Game."
"But, we see what's right in front of us, my friends." said the first councilman. "Which is why we'll be here to take advantage of Galavar's success. Or, his failure."
Later, back on Remnant, we turn to see the downed Darksyde. "ENERGON LEVELS ARE TOO POTENT. PROLONGED EXPOSURE IN PRIMARY MODE WILL RESULT IN STASIS-LOCK AND EVENTUAL TERMINATION OF SPARK." said the ship's onboard computer, as a spider lowered itself on a web. "TECHNO-ORGANIC CASING IS NEEDED AS A MEANS OF PREVENTING ENERGON POISONING."
"Kekekekekekekeke. What kind of place is this, Lord Megatron?" said the spider, as it converted into a robot. This was Tarantulas, the resident mad scientist of the Predacons. "How can this be our destination?" a red and gold colored Western dragon emerged from the shadows. This was Megatron, who was in beast mode.
"Before we acquired the Golden Disk, the Science Ministry back on Cybertron had managed to decode a single file about a location that is exceedingly rich in Energon. Yesssss…." said Megatron. Megatron then entered his Robot Mode. "Ahhh, and I can see now that this is true. Which means that whatever else that is on the disk will also be true."
(Author's Note: Megatron's robot mode is a merger between R.I.D 2001 Megatron, Predaking from Transformers Prime: Beast Hunters, and Scourge from Transformers: Cybertron, with his Transmetal 2 color-scheme.)
"Kekekekekeke. With just the raw Energon on this "Remnant", we'll be more than capable of overthrowing Maximal Command back on Cybertron, hehehehehe." said Tarantulas, chuckling darkly. "And there's MORE on the disk? We'll be UNSTOPPABLE! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"
"Precisely. Yesssss…." said Megatron, smirking darkly. He then exited the Darksyde with Tarantulas. "The World of Remnant is rich in Energon, and it will belong to us. But, before we can deal with the Maximals back on Cybertron, we must first deal with the ones who have followed us here, and caused us to crash. We survived the crash, and unless I have seen their corpses with my own eyes, it's possible that they are here as well." more Predacons then exited the Darksyde. "We have enemies here, in this little colony. Enemies that we will eliminate with extreme prejudice." a devilish smirk spread across Megatron's face. "A new war has begun, my friends. And this time, it is ours to WIN!" with that, Megatron then erupted into diabolical laughter.
Later, we see Team RWBY, Team JNPR, Arthur, Brandon, Argent, and Bagheera in the Mountain Glenn, where they look to see the Axalon, having crashed at the base of the Mountain Glenn.
"Is…is that an actual alien spaceship?" said Jaune, surprised to see such a craft.
"Looks like it." said Ren, surprised. Ruby cautiously walked up the ship.
"Holy moly…" she gasped. As she touched the hull, she realized that she made a grave mistake, as the hull was scalding hot to the touch. "OW OW OW OW OUCH!" Ruby yelped, her eyes watering. Suddenly, the hull door opened, and a black-furred Gigantopithecus then leapt out, beating it's chest and roaring.
"Holy hannah! That's one ginormous ape!" said Nora, shocked to see such a creature. Suddenly, the ape then spoke.
"Optimus Primal, Maximize!" said the ape, as it then converted into a humanoid robot.
(Author's Note: Optimus Primal's robot mode in my stories looks like his Beast Wars look in Season 1, with the head of Optimus Prime from Transformers Cybertron, and his color-scheme from Transformers: Rise Of The Beasts)
"Holy smoke!" Jaune gasped, eyes wide. "An actual alien robot?"
"Are you these "Huntsmen" and "Huntresses" of Remnant?" Optimus asked, curious.
"Yeah. My name's Ruby. Ruby Rose." said Ruby, introducing herself. "These are my teammates, Weiss Schnee, Blake Belladonna, and.."
"I'm Yang Xiao-Long, Ruby's older sister." said Yang, introducing herself.
"My name is Jaune Arc, and these are my teammates, Nora Valkyrie, Pyrrha Nikos, and Lie Ren." said Jaune, introducing himself and his team.
"We're new students who transferred here. My name's Arthur Goldragon, and these are my friends, Argent Akela, Brandon Stoker, and Bagheera Boseman."
Suddenly, Cheetor, Nyx, Rattrap, Airazor, Dinobot, Silverbolt, Depth-Charge, Polar-Claw, Leobreaker, and Tigatron exited the Axalon.
"Whoa! More giant alien robots?" said Nora, stunned.
"My name's Cheetor." said Cheetor, introducing himself.
"The name's Rattrap. Nice to meet'cha." said Rattrap.
"My name is Rhinox." said Rhinox
"I go by Dinobot." said Dinobot, as he introduced himself.
"My name is Depth Charge." said Depth Charge.
"I'm Airazor." said Airazor, introducing herself.
"The name's Nyx." said Nyx, sounding like Sascha Braus from Attack On Titan.
"My name is Tigatron." said Tigatron, bowing like a samurai.
"The name's Leobreaker." said Leobreaker, as he introduced himself.
"I'm Blackarachnia." said Blackarachnia, introducing herself.
"My name is Silverbolt." said Silverbolt, introducing himself.
"The name's Wolfang." said Wolfang, as he introduced himself.
"We are Maximum Animalistic Organisms from the planet Cybertron." said Optimus, explaining everything.
"But, you guys can call us "Maximals" for short." said Cheetor.
"Maximals? So, you guys aren't Autobots?" said Ruby, curious.
"No. The Autobots were our ancestors, who fought against the Decepticons back on Earth, and won." said Rhinox, explaining everything. "We also hail from a colony known as the Jungle Planet."
"That explains why you can transform into animals, especially extinct animals." said Blake.
"Yes. Some of us chose animals from Earth's Cenozoic era as alt-modes." said Optimus.
Later, it shows the various other Predacons. Terrorsaur's beast mode was a species of Pterosaur known as a Dimorphodon, Waspinator could transform into a warrior-wasp, Scorponok could transform into a Pulminoscorpus, an extinct species of scorpion, Inferno transformed into a Titanomyrma, an extinct species of ant, Rampage transformed into a king crab.
"This place, Remnant, has various species, the Humans, and these "Faunus"." said Tarantulas, taking notice of this.
"These monsters, the Creatures of Grimm, also made perfect alt-modes for our Terrorcon foot-soldiers," said Terrorsaur. Indeed, the Predacon foot soldiers, known as Terrorcons, had scanned various types of the Creatures of Grimm as alt-modes of their own, such as Beowolves, Ursa, Death-Stalkers, Nevermores, Beringals, Boarbatusks, Lancers, etc.
"Lord Megatron, we've found something!" said Scorponok, as he showed the Predacon leader a large red crystal formation.
"Red Energon in its crystalized state. Yessss." said Megatron, smirking. "Let us claim it for ourselves, and obtain hyperspeed!"
Meanwhile, back onboard the Axalon, Cheetor was busy educating Ruby and co. on Cybertronian anatomy.
"Now, what I have in my body is what's known as a Transformation-Cog, or "T-Cog" for short." said Cheetor, as he explained. "Without it, I wouldn't be able to enter my Beast Mode." With that, Cheetor then backflipped, and transformed into his beast mode, the giant cheetah.
"Holy cow!" Ruby gasped, surprised.
"Now, my beast mode is what's known as the Acinonyx Pardinensis, otherwise known as the Giant Cheetah, an extinct species of wildcat that existed during Earth's Pliocene and Pleistocene eras." said Cheetor, explaining his beast mode. "Now, all I gotta do to transform into Robot Mode is say: Cheetor, Maximize!" With that, Cheetor then changed into his robot mode.
"Awesome!" said Yang, grinning.
"Guys, you might wanna see this." said Leobreaker, showing them what was going on in the mountains. They looked to see the Predacons advancing towards a large red crystal formation.
"Scrap. Those Preds found some Red Energon!" said Rattrap, shocked.
"Energon? Wassat?" said Argent, curious.
"Energon is a natural fuel-source from our home-planet of Cybertron." said Optimus, enlightening the Huntsmen and Huntresses. "It fuels our bodies and powers our weaponry. Red Energon is the most volatile form of Energon. When refined into fuel, it grants the user incredible speed."
"We'd better get down there, before the Predacons bring it back to their boss." said Cheetor.
"BEAST MODE!"
With that, the Maximals then entered their beast modes, and rushed to the scene.
Later, it shows Waspinator, Scorponok, Terrorsaur, Rampage, Inferno, and Quickstrike at a cliffside, where they saw the large crystal formation of Red Energon.
"There it is, fellas." said Quickstrike. "It's amazing."
"It bringzzzz a tear to Wazzzpinator's eye." said Waspinator, sniffling a little.
"Let's bring this thing back to Lord Megatron," said Scorponok.
"Not so fast, Predacreeps!" said Cheetor, as he arrived with Optimus, Rhinox, Airazor, Dinobot, Wolfang, Silverbolt, Polar Claw, and Nyx.
"We're not letting Megatron get his greasy talons on that Red Energon!" said Silverbolt.
"I'd like to see you try and stop us, Maximals!" said Terrorsaur.
"TERRORSAUR, TERRORIZE!"
"WAZZZZZZPINATOR, TERRORIZZZZZZZZE!"
"SCORPONOK, TERRORIZE!"
"INFERNO, TERRORIZE!"
"RAMPAGE, TERRORIZE!"
"QUICKSTRIKE, TERRORIZE!"
With that, the Predacons then entered their robot modes, weapons drawn.
"We can play that game," said Rhinox.
"RHINOX, MAXIMIZE!"
"AIRAZOR, MAXIMIZE!"
"DINOBOT, MAXIMIZE!"
"CHEETOR, MAXIMIZE!"
"POLAR-CLAW, MAXIMIZE!"
"SILVERBOLT, MAXIMIZE!"
"WOLFANG, MAXIMIZE!"
"OPTIMUS PRIMAL, MAXIMIZE!"
With that, the Maximals then transformed into their robot modes, ready for action. Optimus had his forearm-mounted cannons ready, Cheetor had a pair of dual swords, Rattrap had his blaster, Rhinox had some chain-guns, Polar-Claw had a blaster, as did Airazor, Wolfang had his shield and blaster.

"PREDACONS, ATTACK!" Inferno bellowed, as he and the Predacons charged at the Maximals, and fought them intensely. Optimus was trading blows with Rampage
"I know about how you murdered and cannibalized various innocent Cybertronians, Rampage!" said Optimus, as he cracked Rampage in the jaw. "You will pay for your sins against our people!"
"They were weak and expendable like you!" said Rampage, as he punched Optimus in the gut. "And I can easily exterminate the people of this world!"
"We won't let that happen!" said a voice, as Wolfang shot at Rampage from behind.
"Damn you! That was a cowardly tactic, you mangy mutt!" said Rampage, agitated by Wolfang attacking from behind.
"Wazzzzzzzzzpinator REMEMBERS Bird-Bot! Wazzzzzzzpinator WILL SCRAP!" Waspinator snarled, wanting payback for his past humiliation at Airazor's hands.
(Author's Note: Waspinator's robot form is a merger between his look in Beast Wars and his look in Animated.)
"Good luck with that, Bug-Boy." said Airazor, as she took out her blaster, and shot Waspinator's wings off.
"WHOOOAAAAA!" Waspinator yelped, as he dropped like a rock and landed headfirst on the ground "Owie!" he yelped. He then felt a baby rabbit tugging on one of his antennae. "Ohhhhhhhhhh….. Wazzzzzzpinator HATEZZZZZZZ Bird-Bot." he groaned, mortified.
"I swear to Unicron, do I have to do everything MYSELF!?" said a voice, as Megatron arrived in his beast mode. "MEGATRON, TERRORIZE!"
(BGM: "PRAISE BE TO DECEPTICON" by JAM Project plays)
Megatron then entered his robot mode, with his sword in his hand, and turned to face Optimus.
"Megatron." said Optimus, as he drew his longsword. "I don't know why you and your forces are here, but one thing is for certain: We will not let you harm the people of this world!"
"Then Remnant will be your grave." said Megatron, as he then lunged at Optimus, fighting the Maximal leader in an intense sword-duel. Sparks flew off of their weapons, as the two grunted. They pushed each other back with their blades.
"There is absolutely NOTHING you can do to stop the Predacons from taking over Remnant! You and your squadron will all die SCREAMING!" Megatron snarled, visibly unhinged.
"Wanna make a bet?" said Optimus, as he aimed one of his double-barrelled arm cannons at the Red Energon formation.
"Y-You're insane!" Megatron gasped, shocked. "Have you ANY idea about how volatile Red Energon is!? You'll blow ALL of us to kingdom come!"
"It's a risk I'm willing to take." said Optimus, as he shot the Red Energon crystal formation. The crystal started to crack. "EVERYBODY RUN!" said Optimus, as he and the other Maximals made a break for it.
"CURSE YOU, OPTIMUS PRIMAL!" Megatron bellowed, shaking his fist in retribution as the Red Energon formation then exploded, sending the Predacons flying.
Later, back onboard the Axalon, we see the Maximals speaking with Ruby and co.
"We saw the whole fight. At least those Predacon jerks can't get their hands on that Red Energon stuff." said Arthur, revealing that they saw the whole battle unfold via the ship's computer, Teletraan-1.
"Yeah. We managed to stop them, in a way." said Optimus.
"Optimus, we've managed to discover that there are a majority of the Autobots who decided to come out of retirement, and be reformatted into Maximals!" said Silverbolt, revealing this.
"Looks like we'll be getting some new allies." said Rhinox. "But, if this is true, then that means a majority of the Decepticons will be reformatted into Predacons."
"Scrap." said Leobreaker, a little concerned. "Looks like we'll be in for the fight of our lives."
"Indeed." said Optimus, with a serious look on his face. "A new war has begun in the World of Remnant, and it will be up to all of us to stop the Predacons and save the kingdoms from destruction."

Next Time, on RWBY: Beasts Of Remnant: Ruby and co. manage to find the Maximals an abandoned factory in Vale to act as an Earth Base for Optimus and co. to use. They then discover one of the stasis pods is containing the Autobot air-commander, Jetfire, who is one of the Maximals to be reformatted into a Maximal. However, the Predacons find the stasis pods containing the Seekers: Starscream, Thundercracker, Skywarp, Ramjet, Sunstorm, Slipstream, Novastorm, and Acid-Storm. Can Team RWBY, Team JNPR and the Maximals stop these threats? Find out in Chapter 2: Adjusting To Life On Remnant!
Whew! That was a good chapter. Also, I have some sour news: Rooster Teeth Productions is being shut down, and it's all because of the fact that David Zaslav hates animated shows and movies. I'm hoping for RWBY to end up in the ownership of either Crunchyroll or Arc System Works. Some fans speculate that RWBY might get a reboot. If either of those happen, then there's a possibility that Monty Oum might rest in peace because of how dark that the original RWBY has gotten, and hopefully the reboot might be different. I, for one, want to see Zaslav either resign as president of Warner Bros. or be fired.
