I'm still shaken over what happened Wednesday. My friend suggested I type out these feelings and, it has helped. I'll try to make sure to keep this up as we get more information.

Part 1: Ruby Droplets

Kansas City; February 20, 2024...

It took about almost a week for things to calm a little, the fear still lingered especially around the Union Station...even still, one life was determined to find someone very important to him after setting the flowers next to the others. He looked around seeing a group of officers.

?: Pardon me?

Both looked down, surprise a bit seeing the Washington Rusher of their team's name in front of them.

Police Man: Chief?

Chief gave a small gentle smile.

Chief: Sorry for the intrusion, know the past few days has been..busy.

Police Women: Nono, we're just surprised to see you.

Police Man: But, we understand why your here, your brother.

Chief nodded as he looked around.

Chief: Been trying to find him since I got here, have you two seen him?

Both sadly shoke their heads, Chief sighs as he sagged a bit.

Chief: Oh...

Police Women: But, I do remember the team going back to the stadium. He might be there.

Chief looked up nodding.

Police Man: You haven't looked there yet?

Chief: Yeah..reason why for that.

Chief went behind him grabbing the glowing wrapped object, revealing it was the Chief's Megacore.

Chief: He forgot here and I ended up at Union Station. Me and the others can understand why, everything just went to chaos.

Both nodded in understanding with him.

Police Women: That does explain how you are here and not at the stadium.

Police Man: *nods* Please, give him our thoughts.

Chief: I will, and-thanks, for everything last Wednesday.

They waved as the Chief went off. He looked around the area once again...it happened so fast that day-

February 14...

Josh Harris: *horrified* THIS, THIS ISN'T HAPPENING.

All present were looking at the news in horror, Chief face covered in tears.

Chief: *Terror* S-Shards, Arrow...

Magic Johnson: I can't beleive this...at a super bowl parade no less.

Mitchell Rales: All those lives, h-how does this happened?

Marjorie Harris: And those poor children there...

Chief fell to his knees shaken.

Chief: We-we're not safe either. First the NBA, then the MLB, NOW US...WHY US? WHY ALL OF US?

Josh placed a hand on Chief's shoulder, taking a breath and calming his team's Rusher.

Josh Harris: I wish I knew the answer myself, humans are just-the most dangerous of weapons sometimes, unfortunately.

Magic Johnson: Let's just pray those officers manage to stop it from getting worse. But right now, we need to stay calm.

Chief gulped, but nodded as both owner and his team kept close to him.

.

.

Time ticked on as everyone was on edge, finally-the results came on the screen.

Chief: How bad?

Josh Harris: *sorrow* One death...

Chief heart-broke hearing this, but kept on listening.

Josh Harris: 22 injured, 11 which are kids. 9 kids had wounds regarding the weapon are are in the hospital, good news is no critical conditions and all eleven will physically recover. Mental and emotionally, that's another story. Good thing is the officers stopped it before the numbers climbed higher.

Mark Ein: What about the person who done it? And is there any reason for-all this?

Magic Johnson nodded as they looked at the screen.

Magic Johnson: Three people apprehended, one tackled by the fans and two of which are juveniles. And the reason; A Dispute, all over a stupid dispute why are humans so idiotic these days. I mean, your at a sporting event and you bring a weapon that could harm and damage many lives.

Chief: *worry* W-What about my brother and his team? What about them and their families?

Both nodded in reassurance, Chief heart calming down knowing their was good news there.

Josh Harris: Chief, your brother and his team are safe, no one from their side was injured. Lot of them actually helped out with the whole situation; Calming kids, helping people find loved ones, assisting everyone.

Magic Johnson: *nods* Class act right there, even with the dangers around they were there to help their fans out during a crisis. Lamar and Norma would of been so proud of how the team responded.

Chief sighed, nodding in agreement.

Chief: O-okay...okay. But-now what? W-We never been in a situation like this.

Chief slumped in his chair.

Chief: It's gotten so bad; I mean most of these guys aren't even using the usual weapons some are using axes and freaken cars! How in the world do you stop a human like that?

All were silent, no one knew the answer...the answer was just as chaotic as the situation.

Present...

ARROW-HEAD!

Chief thoughts returned to the present as he heard someone shouting and the sounds of an engine. Looking around he saw a very familiar being on a silver and black motorcycle.

Chief: PILLAGE! OVER HERE!

He stopped at once before turning and driving over to Chief, stopping the motorcycle and jumping off to hug him; he of course hugged back.

Pillage: Boy am i glad to see a friendly face! Chief, where is-?

Chief: *both break hug* Officers says he might be at the stadium. I actually came here to look for him-not surprise to see you rushing over here...I don't blame you.

Pillage sighed nodding, a look of sorrow and pain in his eyes.

Pillage: Why him? Why him and his team why-It was bad enough. I seen what that kinda of chaos it brings so why-

Chief: *calmly* We're think about the whys later. We need to think about the nows and right now we need to find Arrow.

Pillage nodded in determination, hoping back on to his ride. He head gesture behind him.

Pillage: Get on, will be faster. Not to mention I know Arrow-Head would want to see his little Brother.

Chief: *Small smile* Thanks Pillage.

Chief jumped on and the two rode off. Pillage heart was still racing even days later..HE NEVER WOULD WANT ANY OF HIS RUSHERZ FRIENDS TO GO THROUGH WHAT HE DID COUPLE YEARS AGO, and now-one of his dearest friends has just stared into the inferno of all horrors-

Las Vegas, February 14...

Pillage was in HYSTERIA at what he just saw, and Mark was doing all he could trying to calm the Rusher down.

Pillage :*hysteria* SHARDS NONONO! WHY HIM! WHY OF ALL THINGS HIM AND HIS TEAM WHY THEM!

Mark Davis: *trying to stay calm* I know it's bad EXTREMELY BAD-

Pillage: *hysteria* IT'S NOT JUST BAD IT'S HORRIFYING! I-I CAN'T LOSE HIM MARK IF I LOSE HIM-

Mark Davis: Y-You won't I promise you won't. Arrow-head's strong and his team was leaving when they rang out. They'll be okay.

Mark silently was praying that they were okay as he hugged Pillage.

.

.

Mark slumped as he finished his message from the team to the Chiefs, Pillage having exhausted himself and was passed out. Mark had to give a tiny smile seeing the other owners, players, and even the Guardians sending prayers and wishes to Kansas City.

With the new information in hand and message sent, he got up and went to Pillage gently shaking him.

Mark Davis: Pillage; Arrow, the team, and their families are safe.

Pillage shot up fast hearing the news.

Pillage: *Relieved* They are! Their okay!?

Mark Davis: *nods* The officers manage to control the situation; 22 injured, one dead and three detained.

Pillage sighed as he covered his face, Mark patting his back.

Pillage: HUMANS...WHY DO YOU DO THIS? -Groans- This is bad, very bad. Arrow-Head...I'm so sorry you had to go through that.

Mark took a breath, before tapping Pillage to make him look at him. The seriousness and sternness that he had inherited from his late father was on display.

Mark Davis: Go, take your cycle and get to Kansas City, you should be there once the city gets the all clear. I'll handle things here, but GET TO KANSAS.

Pillage nodded in determination, giving Mark a quick hug before running off to get to his dear friend.

Present; Arrow-Head Stadium...

Clark and Andy looked sadly at the stadium, the events still swarming in their heads.

Clark Hunt: Never thought it would happen, that it could happen.

Andy Reid: I know-just, lets be happy that it was stopped before it got worse.

Clark Hunt: -sighs- I know-just, the boys back at the HOK must be horrified with this. Can't imagine how Chief, or Pillage are-*hears humming* Hold on what's that?

Both turned and their sorrow turned to shock seeing the two Rusherz the owner had just mentioned driving over. Pillage stopped his cycle, turning it off as both lept and ran to the two.

Andy Reid: I'll be...

Chief: Coach, Clark, we saw on the news. Thank goodness you all are okay.

Clark Hunt: Yeah, still shaken and a little ticked but-we're fine.

Pillage: Good...we also heard what you guys did during all the chaos...Lamar and Norma would be so proud how you all reacted and helped that day.

Clark took a shaky breath nodding, Andy placing a hand on the owner's shoulders as he gave a smal yet grateful smile.

Andy Reid: Still doing what we can for our friends. We're glad though to see some friendly faces here after these stressful days.

Chief and Pillage gave small smiles, but they turned to worry thinking of one being.

Chief: Andy, Clark...do you know where my brother is?

Clark nodded with a sigh as he leaned on the stadium's wall.

Clark Hunt: Inside, but we haven't seen him since that day...knowing what I heard from Mark about how you were Pillage, he's-probably shaken and heartbroken.

Pillage: *Sorrow* I figure...that's why were here.

Andy Reid: Well one of the Rusherz is already here, don't know which one. I am surprised you drove here and not us the portals.

Chief and Pillage eyes widen at that, Chief taking out the Kansas City's teams Megacore and shocking the two.

Chief: But-your Megacore was back at Union Station. That's how I ended up here.

Pillage: I drove here in a panic and forgot about the portal...then again would be in the same shoes Chief.

Clark Hunt: Then-whose here?

The two got worried, until Andy snapped his fingers.

Andy Reid: Heard them mention a plane ticket and how fast he got here. That was back on the fifteenth.

Pillage: Fifteenth, plane ticket, who-*eyes widen* I-I think I have an idea what's going on and whose with Arrow-Head.

All three: Who?

Pillage gave a weak but grateful smile.

Pillage: You..might be surprise-

He moaned, he felt awful. And not just from what happened, he was sick...absolutely sick. All the panic, the chaos, running, emotions stress, left his energy low and he was an easy target to the bug going around. He burred his face further in-

Wait, burred?

Arrow-Head slowly opened his sunken eyes, seeing the locker room and something white.

?: Glad to see you woke up, you still need to take it easy thought.

Arrow-Head slowly sat up seeing the one being he was not expecting to see again so soon.

Arrow-Head: *Raspy;Surprise* P-Pick-Ax?

Pick-Ax gave a small smile as Arrow-Head look around, seeing he had been sleeping on the 49er Rusher.

Pick-Ax: Hi there. You've been out for a few days, don't blame you given what you and everyone been though. You basically cried yourself to exshution.

Arrow-Head was surprise that he was here since that day.

Arrow-Head: *Raspy;Surprise* H-How did you get here?

Pick-Ax: Took the first plane I could get. I told my team of course, their just as horrified that you and your team had gone through this.

Arrow-Head looked away sadly, tears forming.

Arrow-Head: *mumbles*.

Pick-Ax: What was that?

Arrow-Head took a raspy breath and-

Arrow-Head: *raspy* WE SHOULD OF NEVER WON-

He was jerked and turned facing Pick-Ax fast, a stern look on his face.

Pick-Ax: *Stern* Now listen here none of this was you or any of your teams fault. NONE OF US KNEW THIS WAS GOING TO HAPPEN. It was caused by two juveniles who need a VERY VERY STERN REALITY LESSON about how to act in public. You, nor your team, have ANY FAULT IN THIS. I am telling this right now, Your team won that day fairly. My team gave it their all and it was a battle to the end, lots of people watched it and it's considered the most watch Super Bowl so far. And they know this could of happened to any team in the situation. So let me make this clear, NEVER, EVER SAY YOU SHOULD HAVE NEVER WON. Cause it could of happen to us, to the Raven, Lions, Dolphin, ANYONE.

Pick-Ax sighed as he allowed some tears to fall.

Pick-Ax: We all need to be more cautious on how humans behave or act now from these three events in the sporting world, but you guys are not at fault. In fact your team manage to help so many fans that day, they were the opposite of the problem they were the help. So please, NEVER say something LIKE THAT AGAIN.

Arrow-Head, tears streaming down his face, nodded as he wiped his eyes with a sniff. Pick-Ax brought him in a hug as he quietly sobbed.

Pick-Ax: It's okay, just let it out okay-

He heard a knock, and knew instantly who it was as he broke the hug.

Pick-Ax: *Small smile* Think i know who can help you too...*bit loud* He's here!

The door opened as Arrow-Head eyes widen seeing his little brother and his dearest friend at the doorway with Clark and Andy.

Arrow-Head: *raspy* C-Chief, P-Pillage.

The two, seeing Arrow-Head in tears, ran over and hugged him tightly. Arrow-Head returned it fast as he sobbed.

Chief: I'm so happy your okay. Your gonna be okay bro.

Pillage: Just-let it out. It helps letting it out.

Arrow-Head's sobs turned to crying as all his emotions erupted out, the events of the day finally hitting him.

Pick-Ax went over to the owner and coach sighing.

Pick-Ax: I couldn't just stand by..

Clark Hunt: We know-thank you Pick-Ax for coming over.

Andy Reid: And we'll make sure to thank the 49ers as well.

Pick-Ax gave a small smile as he turned to the three.

THIS, WAS GOING TO BE A ROAD TO RECOVERY.

But Arrow-head was not alone, the team was not alone, THE CITY WAS NOT ALONE. THEY NEVER WERE.

To Be Continued...
