The glow of the Auror Office's fluorescent lights reflected off the polished surfaces, casting a sterile brightness across the room. Harry, clad in his Auror robes, stood by his desk, poring over a stack of reports. The weight of the day's investigations pressed on his shoulders.
Ginny, dressed in casual attire, entered the office with a determined stride. She leaned against the doorframe, a playful smile on her face. "Tough day, Auror Potter?"
Harry looked up, a small grin escaping. "You could say that. The usual chaos."
Ginny approached him, placing a supportive hand on his shoulder. "Well, I brought reinforcements." She held out a steaming cup of coffee.
Harry's tired eyes brightened as he took the cup. "Merlin, you're a lifesaver."
They shared a moment in the bustling office, surrounded by the hum of conversations and the occasional ringing of enchanted quills. Ginny's presence, even in the midst of Auror chaos, provided a sense of familiarity and comfort.
"Any progress on the case?" she asked, glancing at the reports.
Harry sighed, leaning back against the desk. "Slowly but surely. It's a challenging one."
Ginny nodded, her expression supportive. "You've faced worse, love. You'll get through this."
"I know, but it's just frustrating. Thanks, love. I'll see you tonight." Harry said. "Don't be late. I've got a surprise for you!" Grinning, Ginny headed off towards the entrance, apparated home and awaited Harry's arrival.
