Lori Loud: My Boyfriend's A Vampire?!

It took longer than she expected, but Lori finally made it to Great Lake City. Where she'll spend the weekend there with her boyfriend, Bobby, and his family, the Casagrandes. When she parked her car in front of their apartment building, she is met by Rosa Casagrande, Bobby's grandmother, who immediately opens the trunk and takes out Lori's luggage.

Lori (Getting out of the car): "That's okay Mrs. Casagrande, I can take my luggage inside."

Rosa: "Nonsense Lori!" (With a smile): "You must be exhausted from your long drive here."

Lori (With a raised brow): "There was literally a ton of traffic. I swear though, the people on the other side of the highway, beeping their horns, seem they want to get out of the city so badly. Is there something going on?"

But Rosa just shrugs it off and heads inside the building with Lori close behind. She is led upstairs, through the door of Rosa and Hector's apartment, and into a bedroom.

Rosa (Punts the bags down): "You'll be staying in Bobby's old room."

Lori: "Speaking of Bobby…" (Looks out the window): "Where is he? Is he working down at the Mercado?"

Rosa: "I'm sorry Lori, didn't Bobby tell you? He's at his place resting. He's been working so many late-hour shifts this past week. But he promises to come by tonight." (Leaves the room): "Well, I better let you get settled in. Call me if you need anything."

And so Lori started to unpack, as she opens her suitcases to take out what she needs for the moment, including a gift for Ronnie Anne from Lincoln. Speaking of which, here she is now…stumbling by? Struggling to keep her balance. Lucky for her, Ronnie Anne grabs the door frame as Lori walks over.

Lori (With a kind smile): "Hey Ronnie Anne, looks like we're neighbors for this weekend. Here, Lincoln wanted me to give you this book of video game cheat codes he found at the bookstore last week. By the way…" (Hands her the book): "Are you feeling…"

But all of a sudden, Ronnie Anne starts to scream her head off and drops the book onto the floor. After taking a few deep breaths, she was able to calm herself down, as Lori picks the book back up.

Lori(With worry): "What was that all about?"

Ronnie Anne: "Nothing…" (Smiles Nervously): "Just stoked Lincoln got me this book" (Takes it back with shaky hands): "I have been looking for a copy of it for weeks. I better go punch some of these codes into my games."

She then runs into her room and shuts the door as fast as she can.

Ronnie Anne: "See you at dinner tonight!"

Lori (Looks up at the readers with confusion): "Okay…"

But as soon as Lori closed her door, a ripping sound can be heard. Then, a ripped-up piece of paper slides out of Ronnie Anne's room via the bottom of the door. It's a picture of a blue-overall-wearing plumber, jumping in midair, while throwing a head of… garlic. As the day goes on, the stranger it got, as Lori didn't see any other members of the Casagrande family roaming around the apartments. The Mercado locked up tight…even when Lori pounded on the door to see if Hector, Bobby's grandfather, would answer and open, he didn't. And the streets of the city are completely empty. Some of the doors and windows of some of the buildings are even boarded up.

Lori (Feels a shiver going up her spine): "What is going on?"

Lucky for her, nighttime came around, and Rosa is now severing dinner to her whole family, minus Bobby. However, even though she's reviled to be around more people, Lori couldn't help but notice how some of the family members look and are acting. Carl's skin looks pale as Lucy's…maybe even paler. Carlitos has grown two pointy sharp front teeth. Carlota touched up her makeup with the help of her pocket mirror…but she has no reflection?! And Frida bites the side of her drinking class, sucking the drink with her teeth.

Lori: "Ummm…"

But before Lori could say anything, Bobby finally shows up. And when the Teen ran up to hug him, the first thing she notices is that he is wearing a very stunning black suit, along with a red cape draped over him.

Lori (Hugging her boyfriend): "Boo-Boo Bear! You look…" (Impressed): "Stunning!"

Bobby: "And you Babe, smell…Sniff! Sniff!" (Whispers): "Yummy."

When they break up the hug, Lori looks at Bobby confessionally.

Lori: "What was that?"

Carl (Looking out the window): "Speaking of yummy…Sniff! The ice cream…man…is by our corner."

Hector (With an evil smirk): "Whose up for dessert?" (Takes out his wallet): "I'm biting…I mean…buying."

So before Lori knew it, everyone in the apartment left in a flash, leaving only her and Rosa alone together. Feeling over-flabbergasted, Lori takes a seat on the couch, resting her head on the armrest. As the grandmother walks over, sits next to the teen, with concern on her face.

Rosa: "What's the matter Mija?"

Lori: "Ever since I got here, everything has been so strange…everybody has been acting so strange!" (Looks over with a tiny smile): "Well… except for me and you that is."

Rosa (Scratching her chin): "You know…"

She gets up and makes her way toward the tv stand/dresser, opens a drawer, and takes out a big old heavy book.

Rosa: "This does remind me of an old Great Lake City legend." (Goes and sits back on the couch): "Probably the first ever major tragedy to have happened this very town!"

Lori (With a raised brow): "What is that?"

Rosa: "A first edition record book of Great Lake City legends. It was founded by Hector's family when they bought the apartment that later become the Mercodo."

She opens the book and turns a few pages, until…

Rosa: "Here it is: The Beloved Vampire."

Not only is Mrs. Casagrande telling Lori the story of The Beloved Vampire, but us, as well: Over a hundred years ago, ten years after Great Lake City was founded and built, lived a vampire. Who goes lurking throughout the night slowly converting innocent victims into their mind-controlled vampire slaves. But before anyone knew they were one of the undead, they were actually the most beloved person in town. Even people who claim to hate their guts, can't help but mention nice things about the person and smile at them when they walk past. However, thanks to a young vampire hunter, the entire city was freed from this evil. Unfortunately, as they were being turned to dust, the count's final promise to the world was that their spirit would return years later and possess the next most beloved person in town. Continuing the work, they left undone.

Lori: "Dose…this vampire had a name?"

Rosa (With a frown): "Sadly Lori, the name of the vampire was crossed off, I can't read it. Neither of the year marks their spirit vowed to return." (Closes the book with a smile): "But I'm sure the prophecy has passed already."

Mrs. Casagrande then gets back up from the couch and starts to clear the dinner table, leaving Lori alone with the book…and her thoughts. As Lori reads the story herself, she becomes completely convinced that the vampire spirit is at large. It makes sense…why would all the residents of the city abandon their homes and businesses suddenly? And why are the Casagrandes still here, despite all the signs to get out of town? Let's not forget how different they look and strangely they act…

Lori: "Expect for Mrs. Casagrande…"

It is clear that members of the family are slowly being infected with vampirism. And one of them…is possessed by the vengeful spirit doing all the infecting. Unfortunately, the only one the teen can think of is …

Lori (Whispers with dread): "Bobby…"

It does make sense sadly…Lori can recall every time she and Bobby went on walking dates through the city and almost everyone they passed waved or just say hi to him with big smiles on their faces. And let's not forget the excellent customer service he gives to each customer while working at the Mercado. As well as doing everything he can to make his family and herself happy each day.

Lori: "I know what I have to do…"

Even though Lori's body is emotionally filled with devastation and major disappointment…it's also filled with determination. As the teen prepares to stop this evil once and for all. Even though it means…Anyway…sneaking around the apartment she goes collecting the tools she'll need: A hammer, cloves of garlic, some rope, and last, but not least a plank of wood. Lori then sneaks out of the apartment, while everyone else is asleep. Lucky for her the family is known to be very heavy sleepers. The hardest challenge the teen is facing now is…

Lori: "Trying to get into…Bobby's apartment."

She tries to open the door of the building where Bobby lives, but sadly it's locked.

Lori (Goes over to the fire escape): "If I remember, Bobby's fire exit should be right next to his bed."

She takes out the rope and lassos the fire escape later, pulling it down. Lori then starts to climb it.

Lori: "I hope I'm right…"

She is, after climbing a few flights of stairs, the teen looks through one of the windows, finding Bobby's bedroom, where she sees him lying in bed, sleeping peacefully.

Lori (Slowly opens the window, while whispering): "He must be resting before finding more victims to convert."

Lori climbs in, closing the window behind her, and going over the bed, hovering over her beloved boyfriend. She then opens her bag of supplies, taking out the wood plank and hammer. Placing the plank on Bobby's chest, Lori raised the hammer high in the air, ready to hit the board as hard as she can.

Lori (Looks down at Bobby with teary eyes and a shaky pout): "I'm…SO SORRY BOO-BOO BEAR!"

But before she can make the swing, Bobby's eyes immediately pop open, swatting the board away. And before Lori could react, the boy tackles her to the ground, wrapping his arms around her so she couldn't move.

Bobby: "Augh…I got her master…"

Lori (Scared for her life): "Master?"

Rosa (Appears): "That's right!"

Adding more to Lori's shock, Mrs. Casagrande is dressed in all black, her eyes glowing red, and has the biggest and sharpest fangs out of her whole Family. Speaking of family, every member of the Casagrandes are sounding them, looking down with big evil toothy grins.

Lori: "But how? I thought Bobby was possessed by the vampire spirit. He's the most loved person in this whole city."

Rosa (With a smile): "My dear…" (Shakes her head): "I've living in this city way longer than Bobby. And besides, the true way to earn somebody's love…"

She takes out a huge pie from her back.

Rosa: "It's through their stomach!"

Bobby: "Mmmm…Pie!"

Rosa (Throws the pie away): "Now…"

She snaps her fingers, which causes Bobby to get up from the floor, raising Lori with him.

Rosa: "To have you join my colt of vampire slaves!"

Lori: "No..."

As closers as Mrs. Casagrande draws near her, the more terrified Lori become.

Lori: "No…"

The next thing Lori knew, she felt a HUGE stab in her neck.

Lori: "NO!"

Well… even though I have to disagree with Lori's thoughts. Not all vampires are evil to let you all know. But I still say she's lucky that one wanted her to be part of their colt. Now then, walking down the runway of dreams is my little sister, Lola.
