CHAPTER 5

Battle in Cicada Hive

Queen Wasp, a HiveWing queen much feared throughout all of Pantala's lands, had plans to poison and immobilize Dragonfly the SilkWing and put him on display in Misbehavers Way, a prison in Cicada Hive. However, she had to be stopped, according to the female SilkWing Io, who was watching everything from a large cage she was imprisoned in. Atala, another female SilkWing, was imprisoned in another cage, and asked Queen Wasp to stop messing with Dragonfly.

"Nonsense!" yelled Wasp. "The SilkWings are useless pieces of garbage."

"How dare you!" yelled Io.

"How disrespectful of you, Io." said Queen Wasp. "Shall Swordtail and the rest of your family ever come for you, Swordtail will likely be burned alongside you with your flamesilk powers."

"But I don't have flamesilk!" yelled Io.

"How about I have my girlfriend burn you with flamesilk, Wasp?" asked a strange male voice.

"Swordtail!" shouted Io as she turned around to see her brother safe and sound.

"So the tribe has come to rescue me…interesting…" said Dragonfly the SilkWing.

"Gah!" yelled Atala. "He's still alive!"

"Stop this at once in the name of HiveWing Queen Wasp!" yelled Wasp's sister Yellowjacket. "This shall not be the end of our reign over Dragonfly."

"She's technically right." said Lady Cicada.

Dragonfly later used an echoing roar to stun every single one of the HiveWings in Cicada Hive. Above Cicada Hive, Luna, Queen Monarch, Queen Sequoia, Admiral, and beorc Geoffrey, Elincia, Lucia, and Bastian were all watching everything unfold.

"Is that Dragonfly, Elincia?" asked Geoffrey.

"Yes." answered Elincia. "That is Dragonfly."

"He looks old…" said Lucia.

"I'm sorry if I never believed anyone." said Geoffrey. "But I guess we'll discuss it later then."

"You're right, Geoffrey." said Luna. "This isn't the best place to discuss such matters."

"Quick!" yelled Monarch. "Down Cicada Hive!"

The SilkWings and Elincia mounted on her Pegasus all soared down Cicada Hive to see what was unfolding.

When Elincia made a dismount, and Geoffrey and Lucia were still up in the transfer that went to Mantis Hive, Elincia wanted to yell and scold the wicked Queen Wasp.

"Please, Elincia!" yelled Swordtail. "She has a boiling toxin in her tail!"

"Come on, Swordtail." yelled Io. "Do you even know that lady?" she later asked.

"For your information, Io, they're people from another world who are in the process of rescuing Dragonfly and bringing him back to the LeafSilk Kingdom." said Swordtail. "But don't call them humans; Admiral learned that the hard way with a man named Bastian. They're really called Beorc."

"I see." said Io.

"But…now that's going on?" asked Atala as she witnessed Elincia raise her Amiti sword.

"The girl has something there." said Yellowjacket. "Interesting, indeed."

"Sisters of Pantala's HiveWing Queen!" yelled Elincia. "Your terror to Dragonfly ends here with the slicing of your terrorism to this wonderful SilkWing!"

She later pointed her sword to the sun after mounting her pegasus. That was a signal for the rest of her group.

"That's the signal; go!" yelled Admiral.

"Now's the time for the horrendous HiveWings to pick a prison!" yelled Queen Monarch.

Monarch later roared for the LeafWings. If the tribes of Pantala worked together with Crimea's beorc to rid of Wasp's terrorism to Dragonfly, Dragonfly would be set free from Wasp's reign of terrorism.
