Well that was some time off, but it's time to get back into it! What's good peeps, TheAwesomeCoolJay here and I'm back to give you another origin and powers chapter. Before we continue I need you all to go on twitter or tumblr and show major love to MooshieBlue they made an awesome artwork showing Frankie's powers in actions. Many years ago in Brasov Transylvania the children there were happily playing together, all but one though. That boy was Adam and he was sitting under an apple tree, alone and sad. The reason he was by himself because he was a bit more on the heavier side and kids made fun of him for that. Didn't help that when he tried to play with others, he would accidentally harm those smaller than him. Causing them to call him a freak and avoid him more.
"More apples for me anyway." Adam sighed, proceeding to climb the tree.
An attempt was made, by the time he was halfway he lost his footing and fell to ground on his backside. The force was so great that it caused two apples to fall out of the tree and on his head, bringing the already depressed boy in a foul mood.
"My days just seem to get worse." The boy griped.
"Well maybe an apple a day can make it all go away?" A feminine voice spoke.
Turning around, Adam saw an apple was being handed to him, and the person holding the apple was a girl. The only act of kindness he ever gotten in life was from his parents, so to see another kid his age do such a thing made him blush. She noticed and giggled, which made him stand up in embarrassment.
"H-Hello I am Dum, I m-mean my name is Adam!" He said, very flustered.
"Hello Adam, my name is Olga, would you like to play?"
"Play, with me, I'm sorry Olga I can't." Adam rejected her, starting to feel depress again. "I am too big to play with."
"Look at me again and say that." Olga told him.
Confused at first, Adam took a good look at Olga and to his surprise he saw she has a body type just like him. Overjoyed that he wasn't alone, Adam didn't know what to say.
"You're big too!"
Olga immediately slapped him in the face for such a response.
"The correct words you meant to say were cute." She said red in the face herself. "Looks like there's a lot I have to teach you."
"Fine by me, I'm ready to learn!"
A friendship blossomed for years and new experiences were made. Thanks to Olga, Adam didn't feel ashamed about his body no more, he actually liked being plump. Also through tons of careful demonstrations, Adam was able to control himself and play with others. Things were almost perfect, almost, there was just one more thing Adam had to do.
TheAwesomeCoolJay: A shocking moment coming next... yes a pun.
Now adults, both Adam and Olga stood on a hill but both were thinking about different things. Adam was focused on this moment and her, but Olga was wary about the weather. No rain, but there were dark clouds, and sound of thunder roared in the sky.
"Um Adam I don't thin-"
"OLGA WILL YOU MARRY ME!" Adam proposed, dropping to one knee and presenting the ring.
Taken back, but also thrilled by this sudden news Olga was about to give her answer, but suddenly lightning had struck the both of them. There they stood dead. But the offer of marriage was right there, no way either of them could pass that up. So shaking off the effects of the lightning and coming back to life, Adam and Olga stared at each other.
"Sorry about that, but wi-"
Olga silenced him and accepted the proposal by kissing Adam on the lips.
Present Day
Learning about his parents made Frankie feel all happy. Sure he was sad that they were gone, but he was happy to know that they were nice people. With the knowledge Sam gave him, Frankie was ready to try to figure his electrical powers. But first he needed a snack, but there was a problem.
"Are you kidding me!" The largest Spookiz complained.
The chocolate bar he ordered got stuck and he was furious. The young monster wanted to just pick the whole thing and smash it, but Mr. Reaper and the school wouldn't really appreciate that. This didn't stop him from rocking the machine back and forth.
"You are not keeping me from my sweet treat!" Frankie said, continuing the pushing.
As he continued, Frankie failed to notice his hands began to glow blue and it began to cover the entire machine. Looking up, Frankie noticed the vending machine began to beep and light up. Backing away, the boy saw that the machine had shot out multiple snacks at him. Raising his hands in victory, Frankie finally noticed his hands and whole body was flowing with electricity.
"I got to tell them about this!"
He ran off to inform his teacher and friends, but quickly returned back to his snack. And a few more.
Moments Later
In the classroom, the rest of kids were amazed by Frankie's new power but were told by their caretaker to stay back. Moving in close, Sam stuck a finger out and the moment he got a foot closer to Frankie, his finger got shocked.
"Just as I expected, the electricity is so great that you even created yourself an electric aura." Sam explained. "Fascinating."
"Mr. Reaper how did this even happen?" KK asked.
"Contact with something with electrical properties and determination unlocked Frankie's potential."
"Cool free electricity."
"This isn't something that we must take likely kids, with his power this great Frankie could cause problems." Mr. Reaper warned.
"Like what?" Cula asked.
Like clockwork, Frankie's electrical power reached the lights of the classroom and took away their power, leaving them all in the dark.
"Guess we're out of bright ideas." Kebi joked.
TheAwesomeCoolJay: Funny things to come at this point
Outside now, more specifically out of the gate of school Frankie was instructed to give the car some juice, since Cula left it running the last they used it which caused it to die. Now with it running, Sam decided to take it for a spin to make sure it would still work. But before he drove off, he had one final warning.
"Remember to only take out what's necessary, too much of his power gone could effect his intelligence." He told his students, before driving off.
Returning back to schoolgrounds and closing the gate, Cula thought of a simple plan that could easily get rid of Frankie's extra electricity.
"Okay this isn't first time we dealt with a problem like." The vampire said, looking at both Kebi and Zizi. "But luckily we won't be switching bodies or getting zapped this time."
"It was a fun time though." Zizi gushing at the body swap she had with her crush.
"A real fun time." The goblin gushed at the moment he shared with his crush.
"Sure, Frankie you ready?"
"Ready and willing boss man!" Frankie answered, raising his hand for a fist bump.
Cula was about to fist bump his big friend, but he was met with a blast of electricity coming from Frankie's fist. Shot back, Zizi and Kong Kong looked concerned, while Kebi had a smug grin on his face.
"What a shocking twist." Kebi joked.
"Y-You get one more." A downed and electrified Cula responded.
Moments later
Inside the school, the monster kids were in the gym Frankie stood on one side, while the rest of the gang stood on the opposite side. Next to the four of them were trashcans Cula told them bring.
"What are we going to do with the trash now?" KK asked.
"Be good students and get rid of it." The spookiz leader answered, reaching in the trash and pulling out an empty soda can. "Frankie think fast!"
Throwing it in the air, Frankie pointed at it with a finger and blasted the trash away. Seeing what he meant and the fun they could, the rest of the gang began to throw trash for Frankie to blast away.
"This is pretty easy." The zombie girl commented on.
"Not as much fun as what we did Kong Kong." Kebi responded.
"Speaking of that, how come Frankie gets to have so easy and I didn't?" KK asked, a bit annoyed by the comparison.
"Cut me some slack!" Cula, quick to defend his actions. "This is the first time we had to do this kind of training, also can I get praise for such a great id-"
The vampire stopped when he and the rest of the gang heard a popping noise. Looking up in the air, the gang saw that Frankie shot an unopen bag of microwavable popcorn and the blast seemed to cook the seeds. This wasn't good because these sounds actually alerted the security guard and his was on way. Hearing his footsteps, the kids turned off the lights and went into hiding. All of them except Frankie, who stood there with his head down.
"Frankie what are you doing?"
No response, upon further inspection Cula and his friends saw that Frankie was drooling from the mouth and he looked out. Was this the effects of using too much electricity? This wasn't good, cause the guard had just open the door.
"Anyone in here?" Whan asked, reaching for his flashlight. "Geez it's dark in here."
The guard tried to turn on his flashlight, but was confused when the light did not come on. He smacked it around a bit but stopped when he saw a light in front of him. Before he could react, Mr. Dang was zapped by a small blast of electricity that knocked him out. Frankie had recovered, and with his power turn the lights back on. His friends came out of hiding and congratulated their large friend.
"Good thing he had something electric, I felt dumb." Frankie told them, hand to his head.
"Nice one Frankie, if he would of saw you this would of have been a shocking turn of events!" Kebi making one more joke.
He began to laugh, but stopped when Cula and KK tied him up with a jump rope. Things look to get worse when he saw Frankie's hands spark with electricity and the rest of his friends stand behind him.
"G-Guys?"
"I warned you." Cula said with his arms crossed.
"We had enough." The jiangshi agreed.
"Could have stopped after the second one." Zizi told him, while smiling. "Don't worry I'll make sure they don't go too far."
With that said Frankie blasted Kebi and while getting blasted, Kebi had this strange feeling of déjà vu.
