Hello once more my ever lovely peeps and peeplips!

So here we go once again with a new chapter and just to be clear, Xero's new appearance does have a reason for it, as it will be a small plot point of sorts within the story. There is a reason why he looks like he does now, and it will be explained at some point, just not right now, just to let you all know.

Another thing that needs to be know, is that new Star Wars game, Star Wars Outlaws is not only full of woke bullshit, but Ubisoft has also reached a whole new low of scumbagginess in their outrage price, the highest being well over a hundred dollars for the FULL game. Yeah, these assholes at the company are charging over a hundred dollars for a game that not only looks like it sucks with a 'ma'am Solo' as people are calling it, but you don't even get the full game at the new standard of 70 now.

I had thoughts of buying the game, thought it was a good idea but after seeing the trailer and learning it's being supported but DEI in general, any thought of buying died faster then a zombie. It's not worth it, i will not support people that bluntly hate me for something i cannot control IE my skin color and just straight up trying to get more money then it's worth form me?

No thank you, i'll go looking elsewhere.

In short, it's a massive scam to get money out of you, so do yourself and your wallet a favor and if you want to buy the game, wait for it to go one sale. Trust me, it won't take long for it to go on sale, given how quickly Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League, this game is probably going to go on sale even sooner.

And i'd like to say this, even if certain groups weren't created to detect Shit Baby Ink and their groups games making them shitty, the games themselves speak for themselves. They'd have refunds in droves and at one point, people would stop buying their games completely, as many aren't even going to see whatever Hollywood has put out, due to them making everything shit. I know they don't want to believe it but consumers aren't idiots, and you can't keep using the same tactics, expecting them to work every time, cause sooner or later, people would catch on.

They need us more then we need them, and they hate it with every fiber of their being.

One prime example is Ubisoft not only going full woke, but they're making it a point to say "You don't own your games, even if you buy the physical copy, we own everything and can revoke them at any time." Really, by the time this culture war in games is over, many game studios that put out titan games like Marvel's Spider Man, the Assassin's Creed series and many more are going to be left in ruins because of people having heads up their asses, in the sand or basically anywhere and just hating the PEOPLE THEY'RE SELLING PRODUCT TOO!

WHY, JUST WHY IS THIS HAPPENING?! HOW IN THE NAME OF ALL THAT IS GOOD AND HOLY, DO PEOPLE LIKE THIS THINK THIS IS A GOOD IDEA?! IT'S LIKE PULLING THE PIN OF A GRENADE, THEN HOLDING IT, BELEIVING IT WON'T HURT/KILL YOU, SIMPLY BECAUSE YOU THINK YOUR HOT SHIT! IT'S BEYOND STUPID THEY NEED TO COME UP WITH A NEW WORD FOR STUPIDTY!

GOD!

Okay, rant over, these people just really grind my gears, believing they are above consquences in making the DUMBEST choices possible and believe people will accept it.

Well, here's a news flash for these morons: We just won't buy your games and when you go broke, getting thrown out on the streets because you can't pay your bills, they'll be blaming people like me and you for refusing to buy twenty pounds of steaming piles of shit. Really this whole "Dislike of fan base, the modern audience will save us and you will need to get comfortable about not owning your games" is just getting old at this point in time and I'm sure your tired of me complaining about it and let me tell, so am i.

I am sick of hearing this shit, listening to them attacking people for having even just the slightest difference in ideals.

Honestly, it makes me want to cry at the state of gaming industrious and while it pains me, some of my favorite studios are going to burn to the ground thanks to greed, general stupidity and people who hate me. Here's to hoping the death of these studios will give the gaming industry the kick in the ass it needs to give these so called "Game developers" the boot out of the gaming scene, so we can get back to the old days.

Namely when games were created by people who love games, stories and want to make a good escapism from the shit real world, instead of these walking dead things called 'modern games'. Hell, these activists are starting to target manga and anime as well for being 'problematic' but thankfully some of the people that translate anime are starting to use AI to translate, so they don't have to hire people that butcher the translation for their own shitty ideals.

And again, buy the physical copies and if all the new shit has 'interent connection required' then go back to the old games, as their are plently of them. More then a thousand games waiting and ready to play, as in ACTUAL games and not these walking sims that talk down to you for something you cannot control or having different ideas. Hell, i myself am starting to get into games like Dark Souls and Bloodborne, as i had a hard time getting into them, namely the game play but now that I've given them a third chance and actually trying the old games since all the new stuff is complete shit, i found myself liking them.

Hell I'm starting to love them and buying old games, namely the ps4 versions and some ps5 versions, so i myself do not need the shitty new games. Something i'm sure that will drive these game developers who hate, mad, as they won't get my hard-earned money.

I don't know about you but i am seriously considering dusting off my old Xbox 360 and the fact i can watch DVDs on it, I'm set for more then a couple of years, maybe longer given how many 360 i haven't even touched yet and seeing as these game studios can't afford more then one to two loses before its in the red. Beside the fact some of these old games look BETTER then the new ones is just insulting to the job they claim their doing.

Okay, enough of that, as always i own nothing but my OC.

So please read, review and "What the fuc-BOOM"

Chapter 3: Prove Your Worth

"Antiope, gather the troops and prepare a defense!" To the queen's credit, she didn't hesitant to start barking out orders at the news of an Orc army heading towards her city. Something he could respect greatly, as running around like a chicken with its head cut off when something like this happening would only cause more problems than solving them.

"My queen, many of our warriors aren't in good shape to fight off such a massive scale army." An Amazon with dark blonde hair and green eyes spoke, one of the guards he saw standing beside the queen, as she grimaced at Otrera, "If we face them head on, we'll be overwhelmed my queen." The way she said it made Xero think she was biting back a lot of bile threatening to rise up in her throat at having to admit such a thing.

Given how proud Amazon warriors were, he could image why. If they were anything like in his world, then it was no surprise.

Though what he was about to say next would probably add salt to the wounds, but that's why he came here, "Well if your short on fighters, fighting an entire army is something i am capable of doing." That made all the Amazons look at him, "That's why i came here, your majesty, i came here to help you."

"Why?" The queen was rightfully wary of him, "Why would you want to help us?"

"Because if your kingdom falls, then the rest of the world will follow." He spoke bluntly, not beating around the bush. "To be completely frank queen Otrera, helping you means i help myself and let's be honest, you need all the help you can get. You're not a fool queen Otrera and i have a feeling you are fully aware of who is behind all the 'bad luck' that has been plaguing your kingdom for a while."

"... It's Lilith, isn't it?"

"Close, it's her daughter, Druella." That made the queen's grimace turn to a scowl, as she growled to herself.

"Gods damn it. I should have known it was that little pompous, uppity, arrogant brat." Shaking her head, the queen looked back at Xero, "Despite your words ringing true, how do i know we can trust you?"

"You don't." His answer got many raised eyebrows, "I am an unknown, ending up on your doorstep during one of the worst times for your kingdom and if i were you, i would be very distrustful myself. But i you can trust this; Druella accomplishing her conquest of your kingdom would spell doom for me, as this nation is one of the only forces in the world powerful enough to hold back the Demon Lord's armies of conquest for the rest of the world and mankind as a whole. Meaning i am a part of that, as becoming some incubus thrall, doomed to be nothing more than a living sex doll for some Mamono is not exactly my idea of living a good life. I do not want to lose what makes me myself and i for one, do not wish to live a life that so called Demon Lord's paradise. Realistic speaking, it's in my best interest to help you fight off the invaders and you yourself cannot turn away anyone willingly to help."

The queen stayed silent, slowly coming around to his line of reasoning as he continued on, "Let me be clear, i am not your enemy. I have no desire to be your enemy, we do not have to be enemies and we both want the same thing, the Demon Lord's plans to fail. So, we can live the lives we wish to live without being forced into some mold by a delusional succubus with an extreme human fetish. Lescatie is a beacon, a place that shows everyone that humans and Mamono can indeed coexist in peace without assimilation or annihilation of either race. Not to mention it is part of a major trading nation for both the Order and Demon Lord's people, so if either take the city, the war will be sway in their favor and you wish to remain neutral, while great, sooner or later, both will try to take this city for themselves. But I'm going to be honest, even if the Order takes this city by some insane miracle on their part which that in on itself is a massive long shot by itself, all that will do is set it up to be taken by the Demon Lord, so once again, it is in my best interest to not only keep your city out of both their hands but to help it thrive. For that reason, not only am i offering you my power in defense of your kingdom, but i have plenty of gifts to sweeten the deal and i can even help you become the most advanced kingdom in the world thanks to the tech from my world. At the very least, i can help jump start your tech to being much better, in both comforts and defense, both magical and otherwise. Look, the point i am making is that helping you and your kingdom thrive helps prevent the invasion of my world by the Demon Lords forces, so what do you say. I scratch your back, you scratch mine, er, i mean, will you let me help you?"

When Xero finished his little speech, having to admit the last part as they would more than likely wouldn't get modern slang. Nevertheless, the Amazons all fell silently around him, each weighing the pros and cons, before the queen finally spoke, "Magus, do you have any experience in fighting large scale battles? Do you even have combat magic of some kind?"

"More than the avenger Magus that for sure and about a million ways to kill someone, be they human or monster, it shall kill." The hybrid spoke confidently, "As for your first question, i was fifteen years old when i took on an army of dragons."

"Impossible!" One of the guards blurted out, eyes wide, "There's no way you could have done that alone!"

"I didn't. Truth be told, it was actually one of my very first missions and the number of times i nearly died on just that one mission alone is mind boggling." He stayed silent for a moment, deep in thought, "Damn, now that i think about it, it is a true wonder why I'm still alive." His sanity notwithstanding, knowing full well it was tittering on the edge ready to be pushed over at a moment's notice, he was about as sane as one could hope to be after all the shit he'd gone through.

"Well, i suppose you'll have to prove your worth then." The queen said simply, "Antiope, i want you to gather a team of our best warriors and assistant-"

"That will not be necessary your majesty." Xero said, breaking the iron cuffs easily, making everyone look at him with wide eyes, as he begins to make his way towards the exit, "I handle the army by myself and i will not require your or any of your soldiers help."

"What, why?" The purple haired Amazon said, "Did you not here Kary? They have a thousand Orcs with several High Orcs leading them, why can't we help?

Xero stopped, before looking over his shoulder at Antiope, "You'll only get in the way."

Line Break, Nighttime

Xero silently made his way to meet the Orc army, clad in his Immortal Guardian armor with Black Rose on his back and the Kiba blades strapped to his sides as the moonlight shined throughout the now dark capital of the Amazon nation. Joy Colt and Terminator were in black gun holsters under his armpits, not in a way that would hinder his movements but easily accessible. He doubted he'd need them all but failure to prepare was prepared to fail after all.

It was just like the scout said, the small Orc army had arrived within hours and by the time they had been in view of the walls to the capital, night had fallen. The moonlight and his own unique eyesight allowed Xero to perfectly see in the dark and he easily made his way towards the approaching army.

The Amazons, while they wanted to help, actually relented faster than he believed they would but clearly, they understood that a Magus is capable of using their full powers when they don't have to worry about friendly fire or at least, that was the impression he got from them relenting. Something he was thankful for, as they had bigger problems to worry about and didn't have time to have a pissing match.

The surrounding arena around the capital look like a flat grassland, with a massive forest surrounding the large capital making it all but impossible to sneak up on the guards, thanks to the fact you can literally see everything coming out of the forest thanks to the flat lands. Truly, whoever thought that this be a great place to set up a massive city was right on the money. Not only was the land perfect for farming, despite the recent drought, with an open land making it nigh impossible to be sneaked up upon by a massive army and just general a nice place to settle down.

Now he had to help defend it.

"Still, i knew this was coming, i would have hoped to at least make a few moves before i was ousted." There was no doubt that his actions would spread like wildfire, anyone who was anyone would know his name before the year was over, despite it being in the dark ages. Humanity as a whole had suffered lose after lose after lose, a sudden and unexpected win would gain EVERYONE's attention.

All eyes would be on him and to combat this fact, it was best he keep some of his more 'otherworldly powers' a secert for as long as he could. Hence why he decided to wear his family's armor for the first fight against the Fourth Born Princess's little Orc army.

Theatricality and deception, are powerful agents after all but only if they were used properly.

The Immortal Guardian armor itself ancient Byzantine armor for protection. Runic symbols are etched onto the armor, provided by clan heads of the past to enhance the armor for better protection and adorn the thick fabric underskirt with buttons. As a base layer, Xero wears a red knitted fabric long-sleeve shirt and boot wraps. Salvaged bear pelts are repurposed into a fur tunic, skirt and boot accents to keep warm. Combined with brown leather pants and boots, and gloves made of deer hide, this ensemble prepares adventurers for traversing through rough terrain. Worn leather straps and a gun holster with the Reaper Blade strapped to his left arm. Along with the Mazoku family clan symbol painted on the chest plate, proudly displayed for all to see.

Hell, he even wore Magento's helmet for good measure, despite it being used for mental defense, it was surprisingly resilient to many attacks in general. But he repainted it to match the color scheme of his armor, so it looked like it went with it anyway.

"My, my, look at how far you have come my dear student, stronger than the sea itself, capable of commanding the forces of nature itself with nary a thought. There are now words to describe how proud of you i am my dear student." Even as he made his way to meet the large army, Xero could particularly hear his teacher's voice flittering into his ears within the blowing wind. No one, not even Cassidy seemed to hear Scáthach's voice and whether it was simply in his head or real, the voice of his deceased teacher only had good things to say to him, as the wind continued to blow through his face and hair, as he could feel her hands on his shoulders, as she whispered in his ears, "But be warned my dear, for this world will challenge everything you believe in and it will fight back with everything it has to stop you. But do not be deterred my love and remember you are more than just a warrior or a Magus. You are a STORM, an unstoppable force of nature that will restore the balance and steer this world towards a future, one where both races can live. This path is long, dangerous and many will fight against you but it will be worth it in the end. Be strong my student, do not let anyone sway your views, remember what you are fighting for. Do not hesitant, show no mercy."

Xero said nothing, as the blowing wind caused his braided hair to lightly pick up in the breeze, as he nodded in agreement with the words. Yes, it would be a long, hard road but like everything else, if something could be achieved easily then it's probably not worth achieving at all.

"Well, well girls look at what those brutes have done; They've sent us a welcoming gift~" His musing were stopped, as he finally came face to face with the admittedly good-sized army of busty, pig like women with bodies that would put most normal women to shame, wearing outfits that looked like they belonged in fantasy games. IE the typical skimpy, barely hiding anything outfits that made their ridiculous buxom bodies look bustier than actually were wielding clubs, axes and the like.

He could in fact sense the demonic mana coming firm their weapons and even see the odd shine of sliver on their various weapons. Must be this so called demon realm sliver he's heard so much about.

The one who spoke was clearly a high orc, given that she was taller than the six-foot-tall pig women that were a few inches taller than him and this dark-skinned beauty with slivery white hair and a boar like helmet on her head, grinning arrogantly and lewdly at him, "Hey their hot stuff, did you decided to just make this easier on yourself and surrender peaceful. ~" Oh, by the demon lord, his scent alone was enough to send her lower downstairs to start leaking. This is going to be go-

"Well, no i'm here to kick your fat asses all the way back to the pig farm you escaped from." Xero snarked back, crossing his arms, not at all intimated by the small army of orcs, making the high orc in front of him scowl at him, despite her excitement in such getting a big catch, "Now, here's the deal: You turn around and don't come back or stay and become bacon, your choice. In fact," The hybrid Magus grabbed his Black Rose, making the Mamono tense, as he used the large blade to stab into the ground and dragged it across, making a line in the ground, "If you cross this line, you won't like what happens next." He sheathed his sword as he did so.

Brutal and merciless he might be, he would give them a chance to walk away and if they didn't, then what happened next wasn't his fault.

"Oh yeah." The high orc sneered at him, glaring at the human who dared to stand up to her, Jadis, "What if i want to cross over that little line of yours."

"Oh, you really don't want to go down that route, trust me."

His answer only got mocking laughs from the orcs, some finding the human's confidence to be enduring and made get a bit hot under the collar at the thought of breaking the man in front of them. None so more, then Jadis, who laughed loudly and then slowly, purposely walked to the drawn line and... stepped over it, walking towards the human, towing over him thanks to her 6'11 frame. Oh, by the Demon Lord, he smelled intoxicating "Well little man, i stepped over your little line. What are you going to do about it?" She laughed again, already imaging how she break his dic-

"I already did piggy." The human responded with his sword dripping with blood, wait what? Jadis blinked, when did he draw- wait, why was the world shifting?

THUD

Jadis, the high orc of the Jade orc tribe, one of the strongest and most feared high orcs in the entire Carmania region died with her head rolling on the ground as her body hit the ground with a thud, not even realizing what happened before it was too late.

"BOSS!"

Line Break

(Song Insert: Think Up Anger ft. Malia J - Smells like teen spirit)

That was a High Orc?

Truth be told, he expected more.

"YOU BASTARD!"

Really, he expected it to be easy but not this easy. Without even looking and reinforcing his body 4X, his left arm came up to block another war axe poised to strike him. He ignored the sudden rush of wind and the ground cracking below him from the strong strike, before his right hand made a fist and BAM punched the second High Orc with so much force that his fist ripped through her flesh, causing his entire arm to go through her chest, bursting out of her back. Said Mamono looked shocked, as she coughed out a glob of blood, looking at his arm in shock as blood started dripping from her nose.

"Huh, i thought you Mamono were supposed to be more durable than this." Xero spoke, mostly to himself as he looked just as shocked. He didn't put THAT much force in his attack, did he? The Mamono in front of his started shaking, trying and failing to grab onto him as she tried to speak but no words came out as the hybrid merely sighed in annoyance, "Meh, doesn't really matter i guess." Then, without a care in the world, Xero put his foot on the High Orc and kicked her body away, making a Sicking clench as he did so, as blood stained his armor. Great, that would take at least a week to get out.

"M-monster!"

Huh. Looking back at his foes, Xero saw many of them grabbing their weapons, albeit shaking but still preparing for battle, now seeing him for the threat that he was, "Get him, attack him all at once! He's just one man!" One of the seven High Orcs said, as many of their subordinates rushed at Xero, though more out of fear then courage.

Not that it would matter, as a large, sadistic smile made its way to his face subconsciously as he grabbed Black Rose. He could have easily used his magic to wipe them all out quite easily, but he didn't for a couple of reasons. Reason number 1, he needed at least one High Orc alive to lead him back to their camp, as he had a feeling that many people had been captured by these monsters and like any other hero or even a warrior in general, he wanted to help them. Plus having people who had suffered under the sex-rule of these monsters would be very eager to get some payback but that was splitting hairs. Reason number 2, he wanted to test himself against these Mamono, see how many he could defeat without his magic. Seeing as many of the more powerful ones were magic users and it would be in his best interest to strip them of their magic, his Yoki would serve a critical role in beating back the Demon Lord's armies in the near future. Yeah, he was using reinforcement and his family's magical enhanced armor, but he that was at the bare minimum as he needed to see their strength up close and personal to get a proper read on them. Best to air on the side of caution after all, as this was a mission that could not afford failure. Finally, the 3 reason, High Orcs were supposing to be some of the strongest, while not on the same level as Hellhounds and the like, still up there where they can send several knights flying with just one swing, so he wanted to see how he stacked up to them.

Plus, you never know who is watching and he wanted to keep his true abilities, his true power a secret for now, just in case someone has prying eyes on him. He wasn't sure if someone was watching him but when magic is involved, it was best to air on the side of caution.

WOOSH

SLENCH

Before any of the Orcs could blink, he was already slicing his way through the horde of Orcs. His large claymore slicing and dicing them like they were wet paper against his double edge sword. Bursting out of the small horde, Xero felt his smile widen, as he turned back to see the large pile of bisected bodies. There was, what like a thousand Orcs right? So, how many did he just kill?

Suddenly his Focus sprang to life, showing him a small screen to display of words and numbers.

Kill Count:

Orcs: 50

High Orcs: 2

Oh yeah that's right, he had a neural ink chip imbedded in his head, linking him directly to his Focus and now it was responding. His twisted grin widens threatening to split his face in half, as he felt excitement rush through his veins, while giving that wicked grin to the now trembling Orcs, "Well then, let's see how long it takes me to work my way through a thousand Orcs, shall we?" By the Goddess and Twins above, when did he become so sadistic? Maybe it had something to do with the mana in the air being fused with demonic energy, causing some of his more Yoma side to come out.

Ah who cares, he was having too much fun, more fun than he had in the past miserable five years, to stop or care now. Besides, it was so nice to just cUT LOSE! AND WITH SO MANY WILLING INVADERS, HE HAD PLENTLY TO CUT LOSE ON!

Breaking the ground with his foot once more as his Yoki pumped more power into his muscles, Xero spirited forward via once more, using the Quicksword style to slice several Orcs apart, sending body limbs flying everywhere. His sword easily cutting through the exposed skin of the Mamono, many desperately trying and failing to defend themselves as he ruthless slaughtered them all, even the ones who surrendered. Those that quickly realized that he was beyond their level, making an attempt to surrender via by throwing down their weapons, hoping to survive.

"M-mercy please, we'll leav-"

SLENCH

A hope that went unheeded.

The hybrid didn't even bother to listen, as he merciless cut down another begging Orc, chopping her head off. Just like his teacher once said: Do not hesitant, show no mercy. These monsters showed no mercy to the people they attacked, raping with smiles on their faces and these piggies expect him to show mercy? Heh, hell fucking no.

Ping

Instincts flaring, warning of him of incoming danger, he ducked under another club being swung at him, before his Reaper Blade comes out, slicing into another Orc's chest, hitting her heart, killing her instantly. He made sure to cut her head off for good measure, before raising Black Rose to block another war axe, by yet another High Orc. Only unlike the last two, this one had tears streaming down her face, but eyes still blazing with anger.

"YOU LITTLE SHIT! I'LL-"

BANG

Only to be silenced as Xero drew Joy Colt and fired a round into the Mamono's head, causing a golf ball sized hole to appear in her skull before she dropped onto the ground. Without waiting, he fired off several more shots, killing many Orcs in the process, sending many running for the hills. But that mattered very little, as he gunned them down without pause or hesitation.

Years ago, such an act would have disgusted him, and he never would have done it due to his own sense of morality. Hell, he would have even accepted their surrender but now. When humanity was at war, coming closer to the brink of extinction by these monsters and seeing what mercy got him in the past, mercy was a luxury he could not afford. For too long these monsters had kidnapped, raped and mind broken several thousands, perhaps millions of humans for centuries and done it without consequences.

Restraint and honor, being the better man would do him no good here. Not in this world, not in this war. The Mamono's free ride, living a life without care or fear of the consequences of their actions was not how life worked and he was here to remind them of that harsh fact.

Turning his head to the rest, many now realizing that if they ran, he would cut them down, fearfully clutched their weapons and openly weeping realizing they were in fact doomed.

Yeah, they've had their fun and their little race has come to shrieking halt. Now, it was time to get back to reality, where actions do in fact have consequences. Dire consequences.

But rather than wait for them to charge him, Xero once again charged forward, kicking up dust as he used the Quicksword style, cutting down several more Orcs into bloody chunks, before he ducked under one swingingly wildly at, before he kicked her with enough force to send her flying back into several of her comrades. The result was them slamming into a tree, breaking it and quite possible, their necks and back.

The sickening crack he heard certainly indicated what happened.

"These Orcs are supposed to be strong, and they can't even handle this much?" Cassidy chimed in from his mind, not at all sounding impressed, "It's a real wonder why they're considered dangerous." Compared to the monsters in their world, hell, compared to fucking low level werewolves, these so-called monsters were pretty damn weak.

Dismissing that thought, Xero turned his attention to more Orcs charging at him, not out of the belief that they could win but out of desperation. He could see the fear in their eyes, even as they stood their ground, if they could run they would. Seeing him gun down those who ran must have made them realize that there was no escape and now were mounting a desperate attack to survive, clearly realizing their dealing with a real monster now.

Not that it would matter.

Back on the walls of the massive city, the Amazons guard could only stare in shock at the massacre happening before their eyes, as one watched the fight, no the massacre happening before their eyes through a telescope.

"By the gods, their being slaughtered!" Antiope, now more than ever, realized just how lucky they were that the mage-er, Magus wanted to help them rather than fight her and her sisters, as she couldn't even keep up with his inhuman movements. She barely blinked before several Orcs were sliced into a million pieces and when she did blink, several more were already dead.

It was insane!

"Captain, are you sure he is a mage?" Mia asked, equally in shock as she watch the cranage unfold before her eyes, "I have never seen a mage capable of such... feats without using magic." Mages were powerful in their own right but more often than naught, not in the physical department. Their strengths and talents lay in the field of mystics that require hours upon hours of study, neglecting their physical capabilities to improve their mental ones.

While it was rare, as only the most powerful mages could become one-man armies, it was through their knowledge of the mystic arts and their own inherited talents. Magical talent mostly depends on what a person is born with, so it's a real flip of a coin on who can become a variable juggernaut of destruction. But this was... this was on a whole other level and beyond all expectations.

"Magus, just who or what are you?" Because there was no way he was a regular mage and his claims about being from another world, his skill in battle only reinforced what he said, as impossible as it sounded.

Suddenly, a flicker of light appeared in the corner of Antiope's eye, making her eyes narrow as she turned her attention to it and then widen in shock, then anger.

"No, no way it's...those Gods damn SCALEY FREAKS!"

Swearing, the purple haired Amazon left her post, to warn her queen, the Naga clan was making their move.

Line Break

"Why is this happening?! HOW is this happening?! I thought the Gods and Fate were on our side!" Back to the fight, er, slaughter really, one lone High Orc, going by the name of Vivi the Cautious, felt her blood run cold as she watched the slaughter continued before her eyes, the mage's mad laughter echoing her sister's death howls. Blood, guts, limbs flying everywhere as if it was a symphony of death and cranage.

It was as if all the hate humanity had against Mamono kind for centuries, eons even, had suddenly took a physical form and was not enacting their revenge against the Mamono.

Starting with them.

Vivi barely had time to blink and even when she didn't, the human before her simple vanished with more bodies dropping as a result. Many being completely chopped to pieces, ripping and tearing like it was some sort of sick game.

"B-boss, what do we do?" One of her girls asked, as Vivi felt cold sweat drip down her face and nearly lost control of her bladder upon seeing the hu-no, not human, the monster grab ahold of an Orc's neck by the back and with sheer brute strength RIPPED her head off, spine still attached as her scream reached shrieking levels as it happened.

"We, we have to run." It galled at her pride, burning like a wildfire in her heart as her pride roared at her mind to stay and fight but she had no choice.

They weren't prepared for this, this was unexpected, impossible even. This destroyed everything they believed in and turned it on its head with this lone human, not only taking on a small army but he was winning, to boot. The human with the intoxicating, lovely, addicting scent was just too strong, too fast, too, too-

"No! Please mercy, merCCCCCCCCCYYYYYYYSSSSSSSSSLLLLLLLLEEEEEEENNNNNNNNCCCCCCCCCCHHHHHHHHH"

Bloodthirsty.

Watching this madman grab one of her fellow Orcs and then rip her in half with his bare hands, blood spraying everywhere only reinforced this belief. This was no man, this thing was a monster, a honey trap designed to lure them in with his heavenly scent, so he could butcher them like animals.

It was like he was a male demon or Lilim and instead of attracting humans, he attracted Mamono instead with no desire for pleasure but death.

Death and suffering.

As Vivi lead her tribe away, she couldn't help but look back at the now thinning out army, feeling shame fill her being as she was essential leaving her comrades to die but she had no choice. She swore to keep her tribe not only happy but safe, as this was well beyond them and staying would only mean death for her entire tribe.

Her eyes widen in horror, as she looked back and her mouth nearly dropped in shock. The Mage had, at some point, disregard his weapon and was now tearing her fellow Mamono apart with his bare hands. He back handed one Orc, snapping her neck, grabbing another by her head, then viciously heading butting her before driving his knee into her gut, forcing her to her own knees and proceed to snap her neck as well. He dodges another club, wrapping his arm around another Orc, then like the others, snapped her arm at a ninety-degree angle before he used his wrist mounted blade to stab her through her back and into her heart. Then, in a show of pure brute strength, he drove his fist through another Orc's chest, ripping her heart out and then used the dead body of the Orc to slam into a charging group of Orcs, showering them all in blood. All the while he elbowed another Orc in the face and then kicked her so hard to send her flying back into more, just like he did before. Then he jumped up, landing on the shoulders of another High Orc, Seras, if Vivi remembered correctly before he used his legs to twist her neck just, making a loud, sickening crack as the tall Orc tumbled into a lifeless heap, blood oozing out of her mouth, covering the increasing bloody battlefield.

In short, it looked like a scene out of one of her worst nightmares and it made tears prickle at Vivi's eyes as she shamefully turned and ran.

"Everyone, I'm sorry but this was a fool errand to begin with. We should have never come here."

She should have never agreed to the deal with that fucking White Lilim in the first place! Druella's plans will only lead them to ruin!

"Brother, a small portion are leaving."

Xero said nothing, as he sliced another Orc in half, while firing Joy Colt at another, blowing her head off and hitting the sorry sucker behind her friend. Silently activin his Focus, Cassidy's words did indeed ring true, as thirty or so Orcs with one High Orc made the wise choice of escaping the battle, as he was surrounded on all sides by enemies.

A good idea, even if it meant very little in the end.

Without uttering a word, Xero released his jet black, eighteen spam wings out of his back, going right up into the sky with a great thrust of his wings. His wings beating in the air, as the remaining Orcs looked shocked at the sudden appearance of his wings and sudden exit from the battle. He had silts inside the armor, allowing his wings to easily come out without being hinder by said armor. The armor itself, while it didn't originally have this feature, is part of the magic to automatically adjust to new wielders when a new clan head was chosen.

Pretty handy, seeing as most clan heads were women.

"As much fun as this has been, i'm afraid that all good things must come to an end." Thunder clouds began to gather above Xero's head, as black/red lightning started covering his arms, while thunder rumbled in the skies above him, "This, is where we part ways, farewell. Lightning Net!" The dark clouds roared, as the same-colored lightning began to race across the sky, then within the form of a fisher man's net, formed in the sky and then came crashing down on the ground.

KA-BOOM

With a blinding flash of light, the ground shook under the attack, kicking up a massive amount of dust, blinding anyone that would look at the scene. But as the dust settled and the lightshow died down, all that was left of the clearing looked like it was struck by a bomb.

(End Song)

The surrounding arena of the blast was completely destroyed, the ground completely blackens by the strike with faint net like markings on the ground, showing where the lightning struck the hardest with various dust on the ground, showing the Mamono had been completely disintegrate. Nothing, not even ash remained and what little ash did remain, quickly faded into nothing in the blowing wind. The darken skies blocked out the moon, as only a few shines of its light illuminated the arena.

Nothing survived the attack, not the Mamono, not the plants, grass, animals or trees.

The entire arena was completely eradicated, and it terrified the remaining Orcs who saw the attack from their spot, atop the hills, overlocking the arena met the forest to the flatlands.

"B-boss, did he just..." One of the Orcs, Milo, spoke to Vivi looking like she was ready to piss herself out of fear after witnessing the complete annihilation of the thousand Orc army with just one attack.

"...Yes, yes he did." By Ares and the Fallen God, what in the ever-living fuck was he?! He didn't have the Chief God's stink, meaning he wasn't a blessed to become a hero and clearly, he was no Incubus, he smelled too good to be one, so what the fuck was he?!

"Got to say, you made this a hell of a lot easier by running from the battle." A male voice spoke, making the remaining Orcs turn and much to their horror, Xero was leaning against a tree, his present smile never fading, "Seeing as all i need is one of you alive, thinning out the ranks will be so much easier now." He started drawing his blade, before Vivi stepped in front of her girls, gripping her demon realm sliver battle axe, making the Magus raise an eyebrow, "Brave as it is, you do know how foolish this course of action is, correct?" Really, what hope did she have to defeat him if a thousand couldn't?

Unless this was nothing more than a desperate last stand. If it was, brave but foolish.

"My name is Vivi, leader of this tribe of Orcs and i hereby challenge you to a dual mage!"

That made Xero stop, blinking in bewilderment at her sudden declaration, unable to believe his ears, "Orc say what now?"

"I challenge you Magus." Vivi spoke, making her intentions very clear, as Xero titled his head, genuinely confused by her sudden actions, as the Orcs behind her eyes widen at what their boss was doing.

"Boss, you can't, you can't win against him!" One of the Mamono shouted, "Please we can-"

"Do what? Die horrible deaths?" The High Orc barked back, making the one who spoke flinch, "We had an army at our backs and this man was able to slaughter us. We can't win, i know that but at the very least i can do this much to keep you all alive."

"By challenging me to a duel?" Xero questioned, wondering if seeing all her fellow Mamono die had made something within her head break or something, "What exactly are you hoping this would accomplish?"

"A deal." The High Orc countered, swinging her battle axe into the ground, "If i win, you let me, and my girls leave alive."

"And if i win? You do know what will happen if i win, right? And I'm not talking about your death either."

Vivi swallowed thickly, praying to the Gods that this man would honor this request, as she tighten her grip on her battle axe, "I-if you win, you can have me and i will do whatever you say." She didn't have to promise that, as her nature as a High Orc would force her to become subservient to any man who defeated her in battle, undergoing a physical and psychological transformation as a result. Not would she not only be subservient, but she would also revel in her subjugation to this man, "B-but on the condition that you honor my request to let my girls leave here alive. I am their chief, they were following my orders and as such, do not share the blame for my transgressions." Her body shook, both out of fear and a strange mixture of excitement, as her Mamono instincts were telling her to just go ahead and submit to this man, in both mind, body and soul. She knew there was no feasible way for her to win. Nothing short of divine intervention could actually help her in this fight and even then, she wasn't sure it would be enough.

"And who's to say i won't go ahead and kill you all here and now?"

"Because you need us." This was the biggest gamble of her life, but she had to do it, "You could have easily just killed us all from the get-go, but you didn't. It was only after that me and my girls left, did you wipe out the rest, so that tells me you need us for something." It was a reach but again, it was all she had left and prayed it would work, "You wouldn't have done that without a reason." Would he?

The mage stayed silent for a moment, staring down the taller Mamono before him before he finally snorted, "Well shit, you got me." He leaned on his large blade, eyes narrowing, "I know you Orcs like to take prisoners and I'm betting you little army must have an equally large army of slaves back at your main encampment. I intended to free them but to get to them, i need to know where the camp is and seeing as your lot is all that is left, you'll be the ones to lead me to it. Sure, i could find it on my own but that would take too long, and it be a hell of a lot quicker if one of you took me to it." Plus, he suspected that some agents from the Demon Realm might be stationed at the encampment and when they realized their Orc army is gone, they'd leave right quick, WITH the prisoners in tow.

In order words, he needed to find it and quick, least some poor souls get caught up in a war that they were forced into fighting.

"But that doesn't explain why you think i'll just let your girls go after i beat you." He continued, ignoring the now shaking Orcs as they realized win or lose, the mage could kill them anyway and their boss wouldn't even bat an eye lash at it, "So, really why should i spare them?"

Her pride screamed at her not to do it with every fiber of her being, but Vivi did what no proud High Orc should ever do:

"Please," She begged, letting go of her war axe and getting on her knees, bowing her head to the mage, "just let my girls go and i will do whatever you want with me, whether you beat me or not. Please, i'm begging you, just let my girls live." After all, it was her fault they were here and they put their trust, their lives in her hands and it was her job as their boss, their chief to ensure they lived.

No matter what happened to her. So, if that meant throwing her pride away as both a Mamono and High Orc, then so be it.

Xero didn't say anything, looking at the proud warrior before him throw her pride away, all in the attempts to keep her followers alive and something in his cold, dead heart sparked for a second, before he finally spoke, "I, Xero Mazoku/Le-Fay/Stark/Pendragon do hereby swear on my life, my magic that i will honor the agreement with Vivi the High Orc and accept your challenge." A light glow appeared around his body, making the Orcs wonder what just happened, as he ignored their looks, eyes on the now smiling Vivi, "What are the conditions for winning?"

"The first one who hits the ground is the loser."

Ah, so that what she's trying to do. Xero smiled a little to himself, High Orcs were known for their ability to not only charge their enemies but knock them down with one swing and she was banking on her strength in hopes of actually getting out of this on top.

"Here, i come!" The High Orc shouted, getting back to her feet, grabbing her weapon and rushing at him, in an attempt to end their duel quickly. No doubt putting everything she had into her attack, in hopes that someway, somehow, she could win this duel.

It was a smart plan, a good strategy. But...

CLUNG

Vivi's eyes widen in shock, as Black Rose easily blocked her war axe, as the colliding weapons created a shockwave between the two, as Xero stayed perfectly on his feet.

"...He blocked it."

Terror gripped Vivi as she knew what would happen next and her emotions warred between fear and excitement.

While she didn't have a bad plan, sadly, it wasn't nearly good enough.

Before she could react, Xero acted, using his claymore to twist the war axe, wrenching the large blade out of the High Orc's grip. Then, with quick, smooth monitions, he put his hand on her back and his leg under her own, allowing him to send her flying onto her back, flipping her over onto the hard ground ending the duel in just two moves.

"Well, would you look at that, i win." Xero said jolly, sheathing his sword on his back, as Vivi looked up at him with a bright blush on her face. Just like the book said, the moment she lost, her mind was undergoing the transformation into become subservient and servile High Orc to the man who had defeated her in combat.

"Yes, you do." The High Orc instinctively lowered her head, presenting her neck as a sign of submission. Meanwhile, the other Orcs, quickly following their boss's example, or ex-boss in this case, only they dropped to their knees, into a dogeza position, all but shouting, "WE SURRENDER, PLEASE DON'T KILL US!" Because honestly, the mage had no reason to keep his word and their former boss wouldn't help them now.

Hell, if he ordered it, their former chief would kill them all with a smile on her face.

This, only caused Xero to roll his eyes, "Get up you nitwits, i already swore to your boss i wouldn't kill you." Hope ignited in their hearts, "Unless of course, you plan on doing something stupid like attacking me, trying to rape me or kidnap any of the innocent people of this kingdom." And was just as quickly dosed upon his words.

"WE WON'T!/I SWEAR, WE WON'T!/ PLEASE DON'T KILL US!"

Sigh

This was going to be a long night, wasn't it?

Done.

So yeah, a lot shorter than my previous chapter but i do believe that it gets the point across. Next chapter will take us to the Orc camp and see just what Antiope meant by "Scaley freaks" so hope you all enjoyed and see you all, next chapter.

Plus the song i chose for the fight scene, while not exactly a fight song, as it's actually the opening song for the movie "Black Widow" the soft, creepy undertone of the song was so good, i added it into this fight as i just like it that much. Again, i just love the creepy undertone of the song and i believe it fits perfectly with the MGE world.

Like this world, the song is beautiful, soft and lyrical but as you listen more to it, the dark undertone and words make you realize that it isn't all it seems. That as pretty as it is to listen to, it has a hidden darkness to it that you have to really listen to, in order to hear it. Also, Stellar Blade comes out Friday and i already got it preorder for months now, so i probable won't be updating for a while, as i'll probably be addicted to that for the next couple of weeks, possibly months, so i am so looking forward to that.

But that's all i have to say, so again, see you all next chapter my lovely peeps and peeplips!

Devil out!
