-"What are you talking about?"
-"Have you forgotten, daughter dearest?"
No, she hasn't forgotten. She still remembers how her father accused her of being a traitor and was ready to execute her for it, or the way her father smiled when he gave the order to kill Jensen in front of her, that smile branded in her brain and fueling her hatred towards him for the last fourteen years.
-"I never forgot that you betrayed me and our Kingdom for Josh's Commander. And even though I had some semblance of justice when I executed the Commander, the true traitor was never punished. It's about time you are. It would've happened sooner, but you never left Josh's Castle. However, you're here now and I'm gonna make sure justice is finally executed."
-"Kill me and you'll truly meet the Devil."
-"I'm not afraid of the devil." - Logan laughs.
-"You should."
-"Humor me, then. Why should I fear anyone for that matter."
-"If anything happens to me, and after what you did to my husband, Josh will stop at nothing to make you pay. The only reason why he didn't go after you the last time was because of Jensen. You were damn lucky you allowed Jensen to write that letter, I can tell you that much."
-"What're you talking about?"
-"In the letter Jensen sent Josh, he told Josh to stand down and focus on our family, as well as to do all he could to keep me safe."
-"See, now I know you're lying. I read the letter. It didn't say any of that."
-"Jensen and Josh created a number of different code sentences to be used in a situation like that and Jensen used a few of them in the letter." - She sees the shock flash in Logan's eyes, before disappearing. -"This time, though, I won't ask Josh to stand down. I will make sure that you'll pay for all you have put us through."
-"And I'm supposed to believe you?" - Logan laughs at her.
-"It doesn't matter if you believe me or not. All that matters is that, by the time Josh is done, you'll be dead and you better pray that I can convince him not to kill the rest of the Royal Family, your precious heir included." - Bella sees Amara, her stepmother, shifting in her seat at the threat, and her father's angry eyes set on her.
-"Josh wouldn't kill a child."
-"What makes you believe that Josh won't eliminate your entire lineage as payback for what you've done?" - There's a terrifying smile on her lips and she knows it.
-"Because you're still alive." - He tells her, through gritted teeth, but she laughs at him.
-"As far as Josh is concerned, I'm not a part of your lineage, not anymore at least. Or have you forgotten that I renounced my title once you went to war with Josh? Oh, and if you try to get your wife and son out of the Castle, I doubt they'll go very far, since I'm sure that by now Josh already has several soldiers in strategic places around the Castle."
-"That's impossible. I would've known if any of Josh's men entered the Kingdom."
-"How sure are you of that?" - She smirks as if she knew something he doesn't.
-"Guards! Take her back to the dungeon."
-"If I were you, I would start begging Josh to, at least, spare your family's lives. That is if you care about them at all."
