Alister's perspective

My jaw was still dropped in awe of what just happened. I couldn't even form a single word.

"So," Angus said as he walked forward, sword over his shoulder in a badass manner, "As you have probably figured out I am Angus McSix. Like Angus McFluff but One Better."

"So," I asked, finally able to form a word, "how did this happen?"

"Oh, it's a long story," he replied. "Basically, I was Angus McFluff XIII. Yes, that one. The one who went to another dimension and sacrificed himself in the volcano."

"Okay, go on."

"Well," Angus said, "while in those fires, I had a vision in my head, one of a sword, plated in gold, and able to slay hordes of goblins and trolls. I soon found myself in the realm of martyrs. Wanting to come back, I took it upon myself to ride to hell, find the sword, upgrade myself, and end up back at the dawn of time. I had made an army, fought battles on Mars, and became a starlord of this universe. However, after that portal had spat me out, so did evil return, and little did I know, unlocking Sixcalibur would bring Sheepulon back from his banished realm. After swarms of Fireflies of Doom attacked and kept attacking, I knew that I had to return to the realm where The One lived. Alister Otterton, or the honorary Alister McSix. I knew that you would be needed in the battle against the evil lord."

My heart began to pound with excitement. It finally felt as if all of my purpose was back. It felt like I was ready to save the world and then some.

"No way," I heard Nick say, "that kid is going to save the world again!"

"Like he did the last time," Snowy said, "I remembered now watching that battle take place. It basically fully made me want to front a metal band."

"So," I then asked, "who are the other two?"

"Well," Vulpestris introduced herself, "I am Vulpestris, Queen of the Lazer Amazons of Catedonia, I also have a backstory. I was in the ancient city that Angus arrived to, just a street kit trying to survive. One night, I was threatened by a troll, backed into a corner, and was about to be eaten. Suddenly, Angus McSix appeared, sliced the head off the troll, and fired a magic blast from his sword. Next thing I knew, I was this vixen with laser powers and a mind ready for battle. I went to Catedonia to find others to join my army, and now we are an unstoppable force!"

This was getting even wackier.

"I just came out of a statue," Skawnk said, "no memory before it, but immediately saw the starlord. He was the one who freed me. I knew I needed to be in the fight, and the Sheepulon had broken the seal. I joined in."

"Damn," I said, "those are some interesting backstories."

"Wait," I heard Judy say, "why are you responding to the last guy? All he says is 'Skawnk'."

"Wait but he just gave me a…"

"Oh, only the ones with direct connections to the McSix clan can fully understand what I say," he replied, "everyone else just here's my name."

"Oh I see,"

I then heard some trundling footsteps come up from behind me.

"WHAT THE FUCK IS UP DENNY'S!"

I looked back and saw two familiar mustelid faces. It was none other than Honey Badger and Dashley Mustelle.

"Wait," Duke said, "it's you two again! What happened?"

"Well," Honey Badger said, "we heard Alister singing, and then all the memories flooded back."

"Damn," I said, "I must have been loud."

"I mean you were," Dashley said, "then we saw this shit going on TV. The news crew is behind y'all by the way. We came here right as Gold Angus and the crew were defeating these…"

"Fireflies of doom," Angus replied, "by the way I'm now Angus McSix. Let us explain."

They went back through their stories about what brought them here, leaving Honey and Dashley in awe.

"Well," Honey said, "thank you for saving us."

"For now," Angus said, "Sheepulon will be back."

"But it looks like you've gotten the band back together."

"Indeed we did," Revi said, "all thanks to some premonition Alister had in a dream."

"Yeah," I said, "I had a dream where this happened, and when I woke up it all came back to me. I remembered that I was needed."

"Also," Honey said, "who is the new one?"

"Dani Inkentshane," Dani said, "the new rhythm guitarist. I've been a fan since the beginning and was so excited when I got to join." Their tail was wagging.

"Well, what happened to Winston?"

"He has a grudge," Palmer said, "says he blames the rest of us for the breakup. Even though the reason is because the old Angus was kicked out. Claims we treated him like trash, and now has no interest in rejoining."

"But," Lizzy said, "we now got a new one."

"Well," Dashley said, as she lifted her small weasel body off of Honey and onto the ground, "Looks like I'll start booking for you soon enough with that new lineup."

"Guess so," Honey said.

"Oh yeah," I remembered, "one more thing. Why did we all forget what happened until that dream I had?"

"Oh," Angus said, "after the old Angus was kicked out of Zootopia, a different timeline was started, one where Pels Raseri never existed and instead there were aliens."

"Another timeline?"

"Yes," Angus said, "and now that Sheepulon has invaded, the two timelines have converged."

"So what does that mean?"

"It means," Angus said, "that when Sheepulon returns, he will bring elements from boh of these timelines into this one, and it will not be good."

"Hey!" Snowy said, "I already helped save the world from those aliens."

"And eventually," Angus said, "the two timelines will become one and the same, with no distinguishable features."

"So," Nick said, "a timeline with both evil aliens and evil wizards?"

"Yes, basically," Angus said, "at least that is what I know for now."

"Also," I asked, "you said you were the one who fell into the volcano. Who was the Angus that got kicked out of the city?"

"Oh," Angus said, "That was Angus McFluff V. He invented the telescope and tried to transport himself to outer space in 1993. Turns out, there was no 1993 in his dimension, and he ended up here. Soon he learned about the McFluffs that came after him, and disguised himself as Angus McFluff XIII. He then learned that his descendants resided in the city, and knew they would need protection."

"What about Odin Angus?"

"Oh," Angus said, "he was just the alternate dimension version of me, his fate after the volcano was different."

"Damn," Nick then said, "this is some reddit timeline shit going on."

"It's very complicated," Angus said, "but there's your backstory."

Suddenly my phone buzzed. I took it out and saw it was a text from Ashkii. She was wondering where I was and if I was safe. I replied, saying that I was safe, but realized it was only at 5% battery.

"Well," I said, "I better get going. My family is worried for me. But now I know, if Sheepulon strikes again, You guys have got my back."

I headed back towards the metro.
