Snowy's perspective

So.

That Alister Otterton guy I told you about earlier, well, the whole city is looking for him. Looks like he caused a good chunk of the city to blow up, and killed multiple civilians in the process. At least that is what crossed my mind as I watched the TV.

"Well," Nick said as he entered the room, "looks like that Pels Raseri reunion isn't happening after all."

"I mean," Judy said, "we could do our own headliner I guess?"

"I mean we've done a short one," I replied, "Plus, who knows if that will be allowed if Sheepulon takes control of the city."

An image of Alister was placed on the TV, as helicopters and sirens sounded outside.

"Who knows if he even did it," Judy said, "this might all be fake. I haven't even seen reports of Sheepulon."

"Well he's a pretty shifty guy," I said.

"I mean," Nick replied, "you don't really know him."

"But who knows," Judy said, "Crime-solving in this city is very odd. I have arrested many wrong suspects from when I was an officer."

"Yeah," Nick said, "like that one antelope."

"Oh yeah that guy," Nick said, "those fucking identity thiefs."

"And also…"

Our conversation was interrupted by a loud knocking at the door.

"Oh who the hell is it now?" I asked, as I jumped up from the couch.

"Snowy?"

I was faced with a very fluffy Dhole, wearing track pants and a Pet Needs t-shirt. I soon realized that it was none other than my childhood friend.

"Ari Chanchal?" I said as my tail began to wag, "I haven't seen you in years!"

"Aap kaise hain!" They said as they ran in to hug me (btw that means how are you doing in Hindi), "I had to stop by."

"Come right in," I said, "what brings you here."

"Well," They said as they sat down on the sofa, "I have been cleared of all my medical problems, and realized that I hadn't seen you in a long-ass time. How is the band going?"

"Ngl we're going pretty well," I said, "Ever since Sam Smallclaw joined, it feels like we are finally starting to make it, if you know what I mean."

"Congrats!" They said, "unfortunately I have no musical talent. Just a Dhole who really likes music."

"Yeah," I said, "I mean, we were hoping to tour with Pel-I mean some quite popular band but something has happened with their lead singer that makes me feel like it won't be happening any time soon."

"Yeah I mean that kinda sucks," Ari said, "I also have another thing to tell you."

"What is it?" I responded.

"Alister Otterton," they said, "that guy that the whole ZPD is currently searching for, is totally innocent."

"Wait," I said, "what makes you say this? Did you see the battle happening? You know about Sheepulon?"

"Yes," Ari replied, "I could see it from a distance. That ram demon dude. Sheepulon, right? Hope the city knows that Alister is innocent and Sheepulon is guilty. I hope an epic battle can commence and the heroes in Pels Raseri can triumph once more!"

"Wait a second," I said, "you remember the whole thing about Pels Raseri?"

"Oh yeah," They said, "I saw a video on Snoutbook of him doing it at the Foxhole. It got me to remember it immediately. I now remember all of what has gone down."

"Oh I see," I replied.

"So," Ari said, "Alister is completely innocent."

"Actually," I said, "how do you know he's completely innocent?"

"Well," Ari said, "I could see that as he was singing, Sheepulon seemed to be controlling what was happening, and he seemed to be the one who initiated the explosion, as he snapped a digit right before it all went boom."

I processed what my friend just told me. If that was the case, then Alister was completely innocent.

"What is going on down here?" Winter said as she walked down the stairs, "Wait, Ari? WHat are you doing here?"

"Well," they said, "I have not visited in a long time."

"We were catching up," I said, "they are very fond of my band now."

"And," Ari said, "I have another important thing to tell you."

"What is it?"

"Alister Otterton is innocent. I have seen the videos of him singing online, and even watched the battle against Sheepulon take place yesterday."

"Interesting," Nick said, "I sort of had a feeling."

"Oh yeah," Ari said, "by the way, I'm Ari Chanchal, any/all, childhood friend of Snowy. I forgot that you two, the ones who solved the savage crisis, are now his adopted siblings."

"I have vague memories of you actually," Judy said, "Or at least Snowy mentioned you."

"Yeah I had some medical issues and hadn't seen him in years," they said, "and I have also seen another odd thing happening."

"What is that?"

"The footage that has been playing on all the news stations," they said, "none of it has ever shown Sheepulon. The demon has never even been mentioned once. All that has been shown is Alister and some explosion, trying to make him look like he's a bomber or something."

"That is weird," Nick said, "I mean, we have seen that demon, others have seen the demon, how have they not seen him."

"They might never know," I replied, "might be some magic, in any case I know jack shit about that. More of a Science Fiction guy, I mean, you saw what happened when I was in space."

"Oh yeah I was there too," Ari said, "still being treated so couldn't fully join in the fight."

"So," Winter said, "would you want to hang out with us again?"

"Oh yeah!" Ari said, "maybe go out for dinner, go to the cinema, go get a drink. The Doctor cleared me for alcohol."

"Sounds like a good plan for today," Judy said, "I am so glad to meet you. Lets go do something."

"Alright," Nick said as he joined in too, "that all sounds good, and maybe even-"

FWHOOOOOOOOSH!

A piercing sound covered the sky, followed by a large shaking.

"On second thought-"

"IT'S TIME!" an evil voice boomed, "PREPARE FOR ANNIHILATION!"

"IT IS HAPPENING AGAIN!"
