Hello there, fellow Rangers to the next chapter of Power Rangers Legacy II: Dino Hope.
I hope your going to enjoy it, but first review time.
TheRagFromTheCrag: I can imagine Henry wanting to do the Spider-Man pointing meme with Gia once he finds out they are both Yellow Rangers. Though I have to correct you on Henry being a second generation Ranger in his Family Tree.
While he is the second Yellow Ranger in the family, Henry's grandpa and grandma from his father's side of the family where also Rangers (specifically from the Samurai Ranger's and if you want to be really technical they had ancestors who also where Rangers), so Henry would be a third generation at the least.
And now on to the story.
It had been a three days since the Ranger's defeat at the hands of the Knight in White, and Ana was needed back at the Head Office.
Henry was currently in his office, going over footage of the battle to see where they went wrong and for something that could give him the edge in a possible rematch. It wasn't much help during the high speed battle between them, seeing as there was no way to slow the footage down enough for a thouroge anylizing.
He did pick up a few things about his fighting style. The Knight in White's style is pretty basic, straightforward and not perticularly flashy. But brutally efficient thanks to his super strength and speed.
He was brought out of his musing when he heard a knock on his door before it was opened by Shelby.
"Hey, Henry. Got a minute?"
"For you Shelby, I have two minutes." he said, putting the video on pause, "What's up?"
"Remember how I wanted to go to the N-Zed Boys concert." she said as she closed the door behind her, "But I couldn't get tickets because Chase was too late for his shift?"
"I remember." Henry said, leaning back into his chair, "But honestly, that's your fault. I mean, it's Chase we're talking about. Also you should have pre-ordered your tickets way in advance."
"Yeah, you told me that." Shelby said, "Well Tyler had somehow got his hands on two tickets, and I was wondering if you wanted to come along?"
"What." he said flatly.
"I know the music from the N-Zed Boys aren't really your thing, but I wanted to ask you because you do so much for us and I wanted to do something for you." Shelby said, "And your basically my bestie."
"For the love of..." Henry muttered annoyed before turning to his friend, "Shelby, I'm honored that we build such a report that you think of me as your bestie, but don't you think it would be better to invite Tyler?"
"W-What? Me and Tyler?" Shelby said, her face heating up, "But that would almost be like a... a date."
"Then don't see it as a date, see it as two friends hanging out." Henry said as he stood up as he looked at the time on the screen, "I need to go. Got to pick up the curry from Grandpa for tonight's barbecue."
In the forest surrounding Amber Beach's North side, the Knight had come to a stop as he looked up at the deep blue sky.
Holding out his hand, a white butterfly landed on his armored finger. "This World. It's so beautiful, no more dangerous than others I have visited." he thought, "Then why is it forbidden?"
But his attention was turned to a group of aliens walking towards him, a pink one with hearts around her and a blue mechanical looking one.. They where accompanied by several white and green humanoid aliens with heads covered in bronze.
"Well if it isn't the infamous Knight in White." Poisandra said.
"What do you want." he told them.
"We came with a proposal!" Poisandra said, "Allow me to introduce the most magnificent, intergalactic bounty hunter in the universe..."
"Samus Aran?" he said.
"What?" Poisandra said confused, "No!"
"Boba Fett?" he said but going by how the alien reacted it wasn't him, "Jango Fett?"
But instead, a hulking green alien in spiky rusty armor and glowing red eyes comes flying out of the sky with his jetpack.
"The one and only, my future husband." Poisandra said, wrapping an arm around him, "Sledge!"
"We have been watching you work. And I can speak for us all that we are big fans." Sledge said affably, "How would you feel about doing some contract work for me?"
"Okay, this I got to hear." the Knight said, "What are you proposing?"
"I saw how you handled those pesky Rangers, brutally efficient. Those same Rangers have stolen something that belongs to me." Sledge explained, "If you bring me back the Energems they stole from me, I will reward you greatly."
"Of course, your after the Ranger's power source." he said with a knowing nod, "But you don't seem to understand, Sledge. This planet isn't yours to conquere."
"Interesting phrasing." Sledge said.
"What do you mean?"
"It kind of sounds like you're the one who wants to conquer Earth." Poisandra said.
"...That's a bit of a reach." the Knight said.
"Not really." Wrench said, "I mean you really emphasized 'isn't yours'."
"Sounds a bit space fascist to me." Sledge pointed out.
The knight comes barreling out of nowhere, knocking everyone back as he grabs Sledge by the face before he proceeds to drag him by the face across the city, something that was spotted by a certain yellow BMW driver, and to an empty quarry, then throws him into the ground from hundreds of feet up, hard enough for Sledge to break the sound barrier.
"I don't agree with that terminology." Knight said as he landed.
Having recovered from he sudden attack, Sledge unleashed a barrage of green energy blasts from his hand cannon, covering the Knight in White in a fiery explosion as the following thick smoke covered the area.
Sledge chuckled at the apparent destruction of his foe but from the smoke, the unharmed Knight appeared, sword in hand as he flexed his arm.
"That's it?" Knight said disappointed.
At once, Sledge aimed for his head and took the shot but in that split second, the bolt of energy was deflected to the side. Maintining a one handed grip, Knight charged forward as he deflected Sledge's continued assault.
Sparks flew off Sledge when Knight hit him with a vertcical strike. Knight was forced to block an incoming strike from Sledge, sending him sliding backwards from the force.
With this opening, Sledge called forth a small army of Vivix's.
"Lay down your weapon!" Sledge told him, "You are surrounded!"
The Knight scoffed at this, "All I am surrounded by is fear." he told him, "And dead men."
"Oh shit. That was a great line!"
Looking over his shoulder, the Yellow Ranger had arrived.
"I thought I told you and your friends to stay out of my way." Knight said dismissively.
"Yeah, I know, I know. But I feel there is some misunderstanding between us." Yellow Ranger said, "Now do you want to talk or do you want to kick some butt?"
The Knight turned around to face the enemy as Sledge had made his retreat, "Don't get in my way." he said, switching his weapon to his left hand as the alien foot soldiers attack.
The duo dodged the attacks, Yellow Ranger using his blaster to gun a few down. The Knight in White used his sword to deflect the Vivix attack and cut a few more down to seize with a single swing, grabbing one by the throat, lifting it off the ground and slamming down so hard that it bounced up and left a small crater.
Yellow Ranger notices the Vivix holding up their weapons, ready to fire. Knight noticed as well and he created a beehive like energy barrier, which absorbed and redirected the energy back at them, burning the Vivix to ash.
"All too easy." Knight said before turning to the Yellow Ranger, "You wished to talk?"
"Yeah, like I said, I feel there is a big misunderstanding going on between you and us." Yellow Ranger said, "How about we grab a beer and talk it over? What do you say?"
"Isn't it a bit early to drink?" Knight said as he looked at the sun.
"It's five somewhere in the world." Yellow Ranger said with a shrug, "How about a burger?"
It was that afternoon a tall, handsome stranger walked into the Dino Café, drawing the attention of a few costumers and more than few waitresses.
His black hair was spiky in the back, and he has chin-length bangs that parted down to frame both sides of his handsome pale face. His eyes were royal blue in color. His muscular upper body was dressed in a white polo-shirt under a black leather jacket and on his lower body he wore black jeans.
"Wow." Shelby said impressed standing next to his table, "Sorry, but your eyes are... Very blue."
"Thank you, I'm very proud of them." the man said giving her a small smile, "I like your shirt. The Triceratops is probebly my third favorite dinosour."
"I know, they are awesome." Shelby said with a smile before being a bit embarrassed, "A-Anyways, I'm Shelby. What can I get you?", holding up her notepad out.
"I'll have a coffee." he said with a quick glance over the menu, "Just black."
"Sure, coming right up." Shelby said, noting her order down before she walked back to the kitchen.
Once the young woman in pink walked through the door and got into the kitchen of the Dino Café, where Chase, Riley and Ivan where working but it was the young man in black who spotted her.
"What are you smiling about." he said with his arms crossed.
"W-What?" she said surprised, "Oh nothing."
"Really?" Chase said with a cocked eyebrow, "I thought you could handle a hot guy after working so long with me.", a big smirk on his face as he struck a pose.
"Chase, your not bad looking... but..." Shelby said, pressing her hands together, "If you where a Pokémon trainer, you wouldn't have even gotten your starter. While he is already the League Champion with a team of perfect IV and fully EV trained Pokemons."
"Or in terms you might actually understand. If your a guy, then Henry is a dude. And if Henry is just a dude then that." Riley said pointing to the costumer, "That is a man."
"Also your one sandwich away from being fat." Ivan said getting a look from the others, "...What? Are we not making fun of Chase?"
Chase got a pout on his lips as he rubbed a hand over his stomach just as Kendall walked in.
"Well, it's that time of the week again." Kendall said having overheard them, "Why aren't you guys working?"
"Oh, because we have another attractive costumer." Riley said.
"I should not have to tell you how bad it is to oogle our female costumers." Kendall said.
"It's a guy." Shelby said.
"No, he's not." Chase said annoyed, "He's a man."
"Don't oogle any of our costumers, male or female..." Kendall said as she looked out the order window, "Oh my god! He's hot!"
"Yep, that he is." Shelby said.
"Okay, I get where your coming from. He's even prettier than Henry." Kendall said earning her an odd look from her collages, "What? But even I can admit Henry is not awful to look at. It's his personality, his attitude, how arrogance and vain he is, and just about anything not his appearance is a major turn off."
The group exchanged a look between each other before turning back to Kendall.
"Ms. Morgan..." Ivan was the first to speak up, "Since when do you refer to the witch by his first name?"
"Yeah, it used to be Morgenstern." Riley said, "Just Morgenstern."
"Well..." Kendall said, a bit flustered, "Don't you guys have work to do?" before she quickly walked off.
"Something strange is going on..." Shelby said as they watched their boss walk off, "Do you think Henry had Ms. Morgan killed and replaced with a robot?"
"Or used his wicked witch powers to charm her." Ivan said wisely, "It was a thing back in my day."
"Of course not. It's not magic or advanced magic, the answer is quite simple." Chase said, "Henry Morgenstern and Kendall Morgan are fucking."
"...Why does that sound less logical and realistic than Ms. Morgan being killed and replacement or mind controlled with witchcraft?" Riley said.
"I agree." Ivan said with a nod.
"Yeah, Chase does has a wild imagination." Henry said, suddenly standing behind them startling all of them.
"Henry!" Shelby said.
"Yes, that's me. Meeting in the Command Lab in ten." Henry said turning to Chase, "You could stand to lose some weight."
"Dude!" Chase said offended.
"What?" Henry said with a smirk, "Isn't it the time of the week we make fun of you?"
Down in the Command Lab, the Ranger's where gathered save for Henry, who hadn't arrive yet.
Kendall was tinkering with a device hooked up to her computer. Using a tool to make some modification to it, she was completely focused on her work that she didn't notice the elevator reach the Command Lab and Henry enter, but he wasn't the only one.
"Hey, has anyone seen Keeper lately?" Henry said as he looked around, "Haven't seen the Orange Yoda in a while."
"What do you think your doing!?" Kendall said upon seeing the handsome man from the Dino Café. She stood up from her desk and walking towards the twins, "You can't just show everyone the Command Lab! Or is he another family member who happens to have an Energem?"
"What?" Henry said looking at the man, "Oh, yeah, I see the resemblance. But no."
"I apologies, Ms. Morgan." the man said diplomatically, "Henry assured me it was fine to come to your Command Lab. You have my word that I will not breath a word about it or it's location to anyone. But I have some important matters to discuss."
"Yes, well..." Kendall said, not sure how to feel about someone with such a resemblance to Henry being so respectful to her.
"I think introductions are in order." Henry said as he gestured to each Ranger and introduced them, "The girl in pink is Shelby, my bestie. And this is Kendall, and contrary to what her size would suggest, she is an adult."
"I figured." the man said with a nod, "And I believe I owe each of you an apology."
"It okay, Hotter Henry." Koda said with a big smile.
"Why would you..." Tyler said surprised, "Wait, are you the Knight in White."
"Yes, that is me." he said, "My name is Marc, and I am a Knight of The Order."
"The what?" Henry said.
"Right, I have a lot of explaining to do." Marc said as they sat down at the table, "We are an order dedicated to protecting the Worlds against the Wild, the greater darkness threatening all life."
"What do you mean by Worlds?" Kendall said, "As in planets?"
"World is how we refer to different universes within the Multiverse known as the Arcmoani Network." Marc explained, "The Worlds are surrounded by barriers to prevent outside interference making it impossible for different Worlds to have contact and to prevent the Greater Darkness to infect them."
"Usually, we're not allowed to make people aware of different Worlds." Marc said, "But we life in strange times."
"Why? Is there some sort of interdimensional war going on out there?" Henry said, eyes widening when he saw the weary look on Marc's face, "Seriously!?"
"The Order is currently going through a civil war, one with a group known as The Outsiders. They have been using the Corrupted in their search for a weapon. It has many names but it's most common one is Force Calibur. It's a weapon of unequal power, capable of reshaping the Worlds." Marc explained, "And if they are willing to use creatures of pure darkness, that should let you know their changes can't be anything good."
"How long has this being going on?" Shelby said.
"It's been seven years now... It's gotten bad enough The Order is working together with Superius Empire. And The Order and the Empire haven't gotten along." Marc said, sounding a bit weary, "It's the reason I came here, one of the Outsiders escaped to this World. For some reason, this World has been designated as forbidden. Not sure why, it doesn't seem to be any more dangerous than other Worlds I've been to."
"Your sure he's still here?" Kendall said, "My sensors haven't picked up anything."
"That's the thing. I can't be sure." Marc admitted, "I've been hanging around just to make sure. But I hope I can still catch him, he has some important information... It was the frustration of him escaping that I raised my hand against you all."
But just then, an alarm went off, indicating there was an attack by one of Sledge's alien's.
"Right, time to kick some butt." Henry said as he stood up.
"This time you'll have my sword as well." Marc said, "It's the least I can do."
"Least you could do, is nothing." Koda pointed out.
The Rangers plus Marc arrived at the coordinates Kendall had given them, which found them in the forest area of Amber Beach, but there was no sign of any aliens around. Instead Koda found something shiny on the grass covered path.
"It my lucky day." Koda said happily, having founded a golden coin. Soon he found another, and another, and another until he had a hand full of them.
"Who would have left these here?" Shelby said.
"It's so shiny." Koda said happily as indeed the coins began to glow.
Marc acted first, knocking the coins out of Koda's hands before pushing them out of the way. As the coins turned in the air, they exploded.
Up ahead they heard laughter, as another alien, this one named Gold Digger, who was being joined by Poisandra, Wrench and Curio and of course, a group of Vivix.
"It's time for a little payback Rangers!" Poisandra said.
"And I've got money to burn!" Gold Digger said, throwing a handful of coins towards the Rangers, "Your Energems will soon be mine!"
Marc threw out his hand, creating a beehive like energy barrier to shield them of the incoming explosion.
"Nice one." Chase said, taking out his Morpher, "It's Morphing Time, unleash the power!"
As the Rangers morphed, Marc was enveloped by light which formed into his armor as he called his sword to his hand.
The Rangers and their guest clashed with the aliens. Red, Yellow and White went straight for the main alien as the others took on the Vivix.
"This guy looks like a museum threw up." Red Ranger said.
"You can't talk, you box of crayons!" Gold Digger said before he threw seven coins at the trio.
White sped up so he was in front of the other two and he just starts spinning his sword, catching every coin, then lays all seven of them on the ground in a neat row and with his sword he bats them back with a quick flick.
The seven coins exploded upon impact, which Red followed up with a cross slash and a blast of Yellow's gun, sending the Gold Digger flying back.
"Where does Sledge keep getting them from?" Green said, slicing through the Vivix.
He was blind sided by Wrench, being just in time to block his axe. Green got an opening when White threw a Vivix into Wrench slashing him hard enough to send him flying back.
"Thanks Marc!" Green yelled.
White gave him a thumbs up as he stood back-to-back with the Gold Ranger.
"Two knights versus these scoundrels?" Gold said as the two fought in synch.
"That hardly seems fair." White said, creating an opening which Gold took, "Take the lead, Sir Ivan."
"No, no. After you, Sir Marc." Gold said, parrying a strike, allowing White to finish off the Vivix with a forward thrust.
"Ah, look who's making friends." Pink said teasingly.
White blocked an incoming strike when he sensed it. With a punch from his right hand, he began to look around which wasn't unnoticed by the Rangers.
"What's wrong?" Black Ranger said, "Is it the Outsider."
"No." White said, looking up at the sky, "Someone far worse."
It was at that moment that what appeared to be a speeding meteor came descending from the sky, taking out some Vivix's on impact, wiping up rocks and dirt. From the dust cloud, nothing could be seen until the sound of a metallic flick, followed by the hissing created by two purple energy blades.
Gold Digger threw some exploding coins, only to have them melted when two energy blades where thrown out of the dust cloud. When they where recalled they managed to slice his arm off.
Two hands caught the sword as a beautiful woman walked out. Her outfit consisted of a blue shirt under a white jacked with a hood, tight black pants, faded brown strap boots and a pair of similar colored fingerless gloves. She had long black hair reaching her lower back.
"Okay, what is it with drop dead gorgeous people coming to Amber Beach!" Black Ranger exclaimed as he threw up his hands.
"Thank you for the compliment, brave Power Ranger." the woman said, with a wink. Her most remarkable feature being her faintly glowing amber eyes
She flips over coins send by Gold Digger, slashing down as she landed, she took the other arm from Gold Digger. She followed it up with a horizontal strike at the mid-section, splitting him in two. As the top fell to the ground, she sliced up to decapitate him.
As his head flipped through the air, the hilts of her blade clicked back together as it formed a staff. As if Gold Digger wasn't dead enough, she used the extended reach of her staff to pierce the head.
Turning around, she flicked it off her blade, where the remains of Gold Digger exploded with the rest of him.
With the rest of the Vivix taken care of and with Wrench, Poisandra and Curio fleeing. The Rangers stood behind Marc as the woman turned to him.
"So Though Guy. This is where you have been slacking off?" the mysterious woman said, deactivating her energy blades and letting the hilt rest on her belt, "Got your apprentice all worried that something bad happened to you. He was about to follow you if I hadn't stopped him."
"I've been looking for an Outsider, would hardly call that slacking off." Marc said, looking pretty relaxed, "And Ven always worries too much."
"Yeah, the Outsider has left like two days ago." Mystery woman told him.
"Oh, really." Yellow complained, "That feels a bit anticlimactic."
"What did you expect?" Pink Ranger said.
"I don't know." Yellow Ranger said with a shrug, "Massive monster invasion, me forming my Megazord for the first time, anything really."
"Well, I didn't know that." Marc said, "If you think I'm hiding here in fear of The Order, then your mistaken."
"I know. Your many things Marc. A fierce warrior, a leader, intelligent, a pretty good chef, so handsome your envied by the gods." the woman said, "But a coward isn't one of them."
"Sir Marc." Gold Ranger said, "Is this lady a friend of yours?"
"A friend, yes." the woman said a fleeting moment of disappointment in her voice before turning to the others, "Anyway, the name's Lily Skywalker, nice to meet you."
"...That's both the coolest last name and the lamest." Yellow Ranger said, "Okay, we have more to talk about. How about a nice barbecue?"
"It is the end of summer after all." Lily said with a smile.
It was a day later during the day, the sun was slowly going down when the Rangers, along with Marc and Lily, where at Henry's place for the End of Summer Barbecue.
Tyler let out a whistle as he and Riley walked into the living room. "This place is big." he said, "Does your job pay that well?"
"Well I earn a pretty penny. But I got this apartment because I got rich parents." Henry said from the kitchen as he was busy prepping the promised curry, "Cold beers are in the fridge."
"That is... a big TV." Riley said, looking at the massive television screen build into the wall.
"Yeah, I know." Henry said suddenly standing between them, a beer bottle in the other and wearing a cooking apron reading 'Kiss the Cook' on it, "They only sell them in Japan, they had to ship it over like King Kong."
"Is this a real musket?" Tyler said as he looked at the weapon on the mantel piece above the fireplace, "Why do you have one?"
"I own a musket for home defense." Henry said simply, "Since that's what the founding fathers intended."
"Hey, Henry." Chase called from the kitchen, "Where is the beer opener?"
"Second drawer on the right." Kendall said without much thought.
Henry and Kendall's gaze crossed each other, both having a look on their face that might best be described as 'oh shit'. Chase looked into it and indeed found it, which earned Kendall a surprised look from the others.
"Mrs. Morgan." Shelby said, "How did you..."
"It's a pretty standard place to have a bottle opener." Henry said, quickly coming up with an excuse.
"Yes, indeed." Kendall said with a nod, "At my place, I also have it there."
"And Kendall is nothing if not standard." Henry said, earning him a middle finger from the female.
Henry laughed as he went back outside as where he found Shelby talking with Marc and Lily.
"Seriously?" Lily said, a cold beer in hand as she leaned on the balcony railing as Shelby had been telling how she had to dress up like the princess of Zandar one time to get the Gold Energem.
"Yeah, it was a bit embarrassing at first, but Keeper told me a princess does not have to be spoiled." Shelby said, "Like those from the Superius Empire, where the princess and any of her female siblings are always raised to be warriors, defenders of galaxies."
"Yeah, they do." Marc said with a smile, "And who doesn't love a Warrior Princess?"
"You do, I hope." Lily said, with a smile something that made the taller male a bit flustered.
"I uh..." Marc said, a bit taken aback, "I have to check on Henry.", leaving a disappointed Lily behind.
The moment he stepped back inside, he found Henry with a raised eyebrow and his arms crossed in front of his chest.
"What are you doing?" he demanded to know.
"What do you mean?" Marc said confused.
"I know we have only known each other for a few hours and I have known Lily for even less. But ever since she got here, you've been staring at her like some love struck loser." Henry said, "There is something going on between you two."
"It's not that simple, aside from our both are organizations being mortals enemies..." Marc admitted, "I'm... It would not be socially acceptable."
"Damn hard to catch a girl like that." Henry said, "Only hope you've got is they feel a pang and stop to wait."
"What?" Marc said, "Did you even hear what I said?"
"Oh, I did. What I'm saying is, go for it. Even if your from two different worlds, different social standings. You'll never know if it can work if you don't take a chance." Henry said, "If you don't start to act, you might lose your chance."
Marc didn't say anything but Henry did gave him something to think about.
Once Henry was done prepping his grandpa's curry, everyone sat down at the table as each was getting a plate.
"This smells delicious, Henry." Lily complimented him.
"I'll let my grandpa know." Henry said as he sat down, "Everyone got a plate? Well dig in."
Kendall took her plate and began to eat the curry with rice. When the food entered her mouth, her eyes widen when she felt an explosion of flavor in her mouth, the positive sensation that ran through her body was something else.
"This taste great!" Chase said, "Henry, your curry is great, but this is on a whole other level!" as everyone seemed to be enjoying their food as well.
"I could eat this forever." Koda said with the biggest grin on his face.
"Marc." Lily said concerned, "What's wrong?"
Those at the table turned to look at his direction, Marc had taken a bite of his curry but he seemed to be somewhere else entirely like he was a million miles away. A tear was rolling out his eye and down his cheek.
Just as suddenly, he seemed to snap out of it unaware that he had gotten in some kind of trance. "Sorry, what where you saying?" he said confused himself.
Later that night, after everyone had eaten their fill of curry and other food from the barbecue, the group had a few more drinks before they went home until it was only Henry, Kendall, Marc and Lily left partaking in the drink, except for Marc, who was leaning on the balcony overlooking the city.
"Hey, Marc." Henry said, walking up to him "Why aren't you inside with the rest of us?"
"Thinking, taking in the view... This planet might have it's own problems but it's beautiful." Marc said as the two leaned on the railing, "It might be a while... Before I see something so peaceful again."
"Peaceful? We get attacked by aliens every week or so." Henry said, "You sure you okay? You've been a bit down after the curry."
"I don't know. It just felt nostalgic to me, it's difficult to explain." Marc said, "I don't remember anything from the first nine years of my life... The only thing I know is that my mothers name was Gia. She died after giving birth to me."
"My mom is also named Gia, but she's alive." Henry said, "And seeing as I'm three years younger than you... Guess your mom and my mom aren't the same Gia."
"It wouldn't be so bad having you as a little brother." Marc said with a small smile, "Don't mention this to anyone but... once this war is over, I'm leaving the Order."
"Really? You look like a guy who's married to the job." Henry said, "What are you going to do then?"
"Not sure yet." Marc said with a shrug, "Maybe buy a house, somewhere remote and near a lake."
"Well, whatever you do. You could always come back here and stay with us." Henry said with a smile, "Your an honorary Dino Charge Ranger now."
"You know, Henry." Marc said with a smile, "I'm honestly tempted to take you up on that offer."
"Hey Henry." another voice said.
The two turned around to see Lily with two bottles of beer in her hand, "Mind if I talk to Marc in private?"
Henry nods, heading inside only stopping for a moment to look back at Marc giving him a strange look then a wink.
"Hey, Henry." Kendall said, seeing him peeking around the corner to peep on Marc and Lily, "What are you doing?"
"Well Tyler and Shelby are moving at a snails pace." Henry explained, "And I want to see my other pairing come to live. Now go away."
"Hell no, I want to see too." Kendall said, "My favorite pairing has already happened.", leaning over him so she could see as well.
"Kendall, are you drunk?" Henry said, feeling her clothed breasts press against his back.
"I don't drink very often." Kendall said, "But when I do, I drink a lot."
"Are you sure everything alright?" Lily said concerned.
"Yeah, I am fine..." he muttered, before cracking a smile, "Thank you, that you care enough to come looking for me."
"You would have done the same for me. Beside after fighting alongside the strongest Knight, everything else seems dull in comparison." she said with a smile, "So, that Outsider, I heard from Shelby you went pretty rough on him and when he escaped you went on to fight eight Power Rangers. What was that about?"
"He... He had information about the whereabout of your mother." Marc admitted, "I know how troubled you are by her kidnapping... I wanted to find out where she was for you."
"Oh, I... Thank you." Lily said surprised, but he seemed to be at a loss as he turned his gaze to the street below, "Marc, you can tell me anything, you know that right? I won't judge you or anything."
"Alright, I haven't been able to get it all arranged in my own head, though. So please bare with me..." Marc said before taking a deep breath, "I... Oh, fuck it. I'm in love with you. I understand if you don't like me that way but..."
At this, Lily cut him off by placing a hand on his face and forcing him to look at her.
"Marc, I don't know if you believe in love at first sight, but I knew I was in love with you when I first met you." Lily said as they looked each other in the eyes, "Sometimes when I see you with Aqua, I wonder what you are talking about. It feels like someday, my heart is going to shrink and I am afraid I won't feel anything anymore. I want you to look at me the way I look at you..."
At this it was his turn to cut her off, by wrapping his arms around her middle as they hugged it out.
"I know it might not be proper, being from two different worlds." Marc said softly, "With me being a lowly knight and you the crown princess of the Empire."
"We can do what we want, we don't need permission from anyone." Lily told him, "But I don't want to ruin your life."
"I'm not giving you up." Marc told her, "I'd rather face down the whole Council than lose what we have."
"Very smooth, Though Guy." Lily said with a wink.
They leaned into each other as they pressed their lips together. Their mouths moved in sync and taking advantage of this to explore the inside of her mouth.
"So much for following the rules." Lily said once they parted, "Guess that makes you an outlaw."
"I'll find a way to live with the guilt... somehow." Marc said with a smile.
She rested her head against his chest and sighed in contentment.
"Oh, they are so cute together." Kendall said, leaning against him, "They are something out of a cheesy romance novel."
"You actually read those?" Henry said.
"Sometimes." she admitted, "Oh yeah, and for that save earlier, I'm allowing you to do anal."
"Yes." Henry said with a big grin.
