"Remind me again how I let you talk me into this?" Alexis says as she is in wolf form as Mary is going over Alexis with a portable hand X-ray machine.
"Hey it was either this or more physical research." Mary says.
"No thanks. I just don't like being poked and prodded at. It's embarrassing." Alexis says as she flattens her ears.
"Sorry Alexis. Try to hang in there. We're nearly done examining you with the portable hand X-ray we made." Susan says as she is looking at the screen where the information is going.
"And remember I'm still taking you to your favorite restaurant for this as my treat." Mary says.
"I know. But I'm not just doing it for that." Alexis says as she smiles before Johnny and Dukey come running into the room acting weird.
"What's wrong with you two?" Susan asks.
"Ghosts! There are ghosts at the old Pork Belly Inn!" Johnny shouts in alarm.
"Ghosts? You two dorks are afraid of ghosts?" Susan asks as she laughs.
"Johnny there's no such thing as monsters and ghosts." Alexis says.
"Alexis is right. Maybe you guys just imagined things." Mary says.
"Oh really? Then what do you say to this!?" Johnny asks as he turns on a TV to the news.
"Big scary ghosts at the old Pork Belly Inn! People screaming and the outlet mall developer steaming! Mayor what's going on?" The newsman says.
"Fear not. We will get to the bottom of these mysterious occurrences and move forward with this outlet mall that this town really doesn't need." The mayor says.
"The SSGA has been called in to investigate." The newsman says as the group sees Mr. Black and Mr. White on the TV.
*Timeskip*
"There's a clear and logical answer about what's going on at that inn and we're going to prove it since ghosts have never been proven." Susan says as the group walks outside.
"There's your proof! Ghosts!" Dukey and Johnny shout as they scream seeing white looking ghosts moving only to see it is Mr. And Mrs. Test putting blankets on a clothes line.
"Guys that's just your parents. Relax." Alexis says.
"Hi kids. Did you hear about the ghosts at the old Pork Belly Inn? Scary." Mrs. Test says.
"I love that old inn. Did you know that's where your mother and I had our first date?" Mr. Test asks.
"And it's where he proposed." Mrs. Test says happily.
"But it's dangerous now. So keep out! Or you'll all be grounded!" Mr. Test says as he and Mrs. Test walk away.
"See? Dad says it's dangerous and to stay away. We should listen to him this time." Johnny says.
"Are you telling me Johnny Test our little brother is scared?" Mary asks.
"Oh yeah! And his dog." Dukey says proudly.
"What!? Me? No way!" Johnny says as he smiles.
"Great! Then we'll crack this case and go to the old Pork Belly Inn tonight." Susan says.
"Count me in. I love a good mystery." Alexis says as she smiles at Mary earning a smile back causing Alexis to blush.
"Oh but we can't." Johnny says nervously.
"Why not?" Alexis asks.
"Because we're gonna hang with Gill!" Johnny says as the group sees Gill on the sidewalk.
"Gill." Mary and Susan say dreamily.
"Ugh." Alexis says annoyedly.
"Are you investing the ghosts? I love ghost hunting. I even got my own ghost hunting gear." Gill says as he changes his clothes into a white shirt and a neckerchief.
"A white shirt and a neckerchief?" Johnny asks.
"Oh yeah." Gill says happily.
"How's that supposed to catch a ghost?" Alexis asks curiously.
"It's for appeal. Now let's catch some ghosts." Gill says.
*Timeskip*
"Now keep an eye out for anything suspicious." Susan says as the group goes inside the inn before Dukey screams as an armor moves.
"Nothing to be afraid of boy. Just a rusty bolt gave way. Now to cover more ground we should all separate." Gill says before Susan and Mary grab him.
"We'll go with Gill! Johnny you go with Dukey!" Susan and Mary say in union as they shove Johnny to Dukey.
"I guess I'm by myself then." Alexis says.
"No cuz. I'll go with you. Don't want you getting lost or anything." Gill says.
"I'm fine Gill." Alexis says annoyedly.
"No wait. I'll go with you Alexis." Mary says as she goes toward Alexis.
"I thought you wanted to go with Gill?" Alexis asks as she looks at Mary.
"Yeah but Gill's right. Noen of us should really be going off alone." Mary says.
"Guess that's settled." Gill says as everyone splits up.
