"Man this place is creepy." Mary says as Alexis is walking beside her in wolf form.
"Yeah. It is." Alexis says.
"Hey you okay? You haven't exactly been talking much since we got here." Mary says as she looks at Alexis with concern.
"I'm fine." Alexis says.
"Alexis come on. I can tell something is bothering you. You can tell me." Mary says as Alexis looks away.
"It wouldn't change anything if I did. What's the point?" Alexis asks.
"Well you never know. It might change things." Mary says.
"Mary it won't. Just trust me." Alexis says as she looks down.
"Alexis look at me." Mary says.
"Mary." Alexis says annoyedly as she looks at Mary.
"Alexis I want to know. Please just talk to me. You're my best friend. I don't like seeing you upset. Will you please just tell me what's bothering you?" Mary asks.
"What's bothering me is that you've done nothing but fawn all over Gill everytime I get around you." Alexis says annoyedly.
"But Alexis you know I have a crush on Gill. What's the issue?" Mary asks confusedly.
"The issue is that when he's around it feels like you completely forget I'm there. It hurts." Alexis says as she looks down.
"Wait. Alexis are you jealous of Gill?" Mary asks in surprise.
"What does it matter?" Alexis asks annoyedly.
"It matters to me. Please just tell me the truth. I won't get mad." Mary says as Alexis sighs.
"I'm getting jealous because I like you Mary." Alexis says as she blushes.
"Wait. You have feelings for me?" Mary asks in surprise.
"Yes. I have for a couple months now." Alexis says sadly.
"So that's why you acted the way you did at the party and why you said what you did back in the lab. But I don't get why you never said anything to me." Mary says.
"Because you're always fawning over my cousin. I felt like my feelings wouldn't have mattered to you. I felt it was pointless to say anything." Alexis says sadly.
"Oh Alexis. I didn't mean to make you feel that way." Mary says as she gives a sympathetic look.
"Just forget it Mary. I know you like Gill. I just want to forget I said anything." Alexis says.
"But Alexis I-" Mary then gets cut off by Alexis.
"Mary did you hear that?" Alexis asks as she listens around.
"Hear what? I don't hear anything." Mary says before Alexis sees a ghost standing behind her.
"Uh Mary." Alexis says nervously.
"What is it Alexis?" Mary asks curiously.
"Look behind you." Alexis says worriedly as Mary looks behind her and sees the ghost before screaming.
"You trespassers are not welcome here! Now you must face your doom!" The ghost says.
"Run Alexis!" Mary shouts in alarm.
"No need to tell me twice!" Alexis shouts as she and Mary begin running as the ghost is chasing them.
*Timeskip*
"I think we lost it Alexis." Mary says as she and Alexis are panting as they stop running.
"Good. I'm exhausted." Alexis says as she shifts to human form.
"Me too. Hey listen Alexis about before." Mary says.
"Don't Mary. It's not the time to talk. I shouldn't have said anything. We should find the others." Alexis says as she sighs.
"Alright. Hey what's that sound?" Mary asks as she and Alexis hear music playing.
"It sounds like music. Dining music." Alexis says as she and Mary begin to follow the sound of the music.
*Timeskip*
"It's getting louder." Alexis says as she and Mary are following the sound of the music.
"We're getting close then. What in the? Johnny? Dukey?" Mary asks as she and Alexis see Dukey and Johnny running their way.
"Can't talk! Big angry ghosts after us! Run!" Johnny shouts as Susan and Gill come running shortly after followed by some angry ghosts.
"Run?" Mary asks.
"Yep." Alexis says as she and Mary begin running with the others.
"I'm freaking out man!" as the group runs into a room with books and closes the door.
"Start pulling books!" Johnny shouts as he and Dukey being grabbing books.
"Why?" Susan asks.
"Just do it! It works!" Dukey shouts as the group begins pulling books before the floor disappears and sends the group down a slide and out the end of a painting into a hallway.
"Ow." Alexis says as she stands up.
"It sorta worked." Susan says.
"Hey. Check out all these old photos." Mary says.
"This one looks like your parents." Alexis says.
"And this is the mayor getting the deed to the inn." Susan says.
"I think we've found our first clue." Gill says.
"Really?" Mary asks.
"Maybe. There's a good chance I'm not very good at this." Gill says.
"Right now that's not a concern. We got company." Alexis says as the group sees a ghost and begins running only to run into two more ghosts.
"We're trapped." Mary says in alarm before the ghosts begin arguing with each other before another ghost appears and begins arguing with the other ghosts.
"We're leaving." Dukey says worriedly.
"Did your dog just talk?" Gill asks.
"No!" Alexis, Mary, Susan and Johnny shout in union.
"Somebody pull a book fast!" Mary says as Alexis pulls a book as a trap door opens sending the group tumbling down it.
"Okay that made no sense but neither did those ghosts." Susan says as the group lands outside in a vineyard.
"They seemed confused." Mary says.
"And not really scary when you think about it." Johnny says.
"And the only way to solve this mystery is to catch them." Gill says.
"How are we going to do that?" Alexis asks.
"With a plan of course." Gill says.
