"Let's go over the plan one more time." Johnny says as the group finishes setting up their plan.
"Johnny and Dukey will cause the ghosts to chase them where we'll all be waiting here." Alexis says.
"The ghosts will run to the top of the stairs, step onto the roller skates and roll down the stairs." Susan says.
"Where well pull the trip rope which will send the ghosts bouncing off the net and into the machine." Mary says.
"Where Alexis and I'll close them in and trap them." Gill says.
"Now let's get our ghosts." Johnny says.
*Timeskip*
"Here they come." Alexis says as the group sees Johnny and Dukey lead the ghosts to the stairs only for the plan to fail and the ghosts go outside with Johnny and Dukey getting trapped in the vineyard as they get tangled up.
"Well that didn't go according to plan but we got the ghosts!" Susan shouts as the group goes outside and frees Johnny and Dukey from the vines.
"Now to reveal who these ghosts really are!" Johnny says as the group unmasks the ghosts and sees its Mr. White, Mr. Black, Mr. Test, Mrs. Test, the mayor and Mr. Outlet.
"As part of Pork Belly's historical society we hate seeing old things torn down." Mr. White says.
"Right. Like this beautiful inn and let's face it outlet mall items are never cheaper than regular stores!" Mr. Black says.
"I regretted selling this inn to Mr. Outlet but the town just didn't have the budget to keep it but I couldn't stand seeing it torn down." The mayor says.
"Hi kids. We didn't wanna see the inn destroyed. It means a lot to us and a lot of couples in this town." Mrs. Test says.
"And you're all in big trouble! But very good ghost chasers." Mr. Test says.
"I was trying to scare the ghosts away so I could build my outlet! And yes our prices aren't better than regular stores but we have great parking. And I would have gotten away with it if it weren't for you meddling kids!" Mr. Outlet shouts.
"Dude no one wants a new outlet mall in this town and look at all the trouble people went through to keep it. If you were a real business man you'd know what to do and I think you know what I'm talking about." Johnny says as he smiles.
*Timeskip*
"Hey Alexis. Come out to see the grand reopening of the inn?" Mary asks as Alexis is outside of the Pork Belly Inn as it is having its grand reopening.
"Yeah. Looks good. Johnny did good convincing Mr. Outlet to reopen it instead of destroy it." Alexis says.
"Yeah. He did. Hey Alexis I wanted to talk to you. About what you said back there in the inn." Mary says as Alexis looks away.
"What about it? Like I said it was pointless to say anything because you like Gill. I didn't wan to tell you for that reason exactly and because I knew you won't return the feeling." Alexis says.
"But that's just it. I do return the feeling." Mary says as Alexis looks at her in surprise.
"What? But what about Gill?" Alexis asks curiously.
"Gill is great and all but to be honest I only liked him because he was cute and because my sister and I had been completing for him long before you and I met. I don't have to worry about competing with my sister for you and you and I get along really well. Gill hardly ever notices me or Susan. But you you're different. You're not like the other kids. You're kind, smart in your own way, brave and a really good person. I like you for the person you are. Not for your looks. Not that your looks aren't amazing." Mary says as she blushes and smiles.
"Do you really mean that?" Alexis asks curiously while blushing.
"Of course I do. I wouldn't have said it if I didn't mean it." Mary says.
"Why didn't you tell me you felt that way?" Alexis asks curiously.
"Well let's just say I know it can be hard for people to share same gender feelings due to it not being common. I was worried you wouldn't want to be around me anymore if you knew I liked girls." Mary says.
"You couldn't get rid of me if you tried." Alexis says as she smiles.
"Good to hear because I was hoping you'd go on a date with me this weekend. We could go skating or go grab ice cream." Mary says as she smiles.
"Anything is fine by me." Alexis says happily.
"Me too. Now come on. I wanna go test out that new dance floor Mr. Outlet put in." Mary says as she grabs Alexis by the hand as the two to inside.
