Dango Shop:With Hinata

Granolah was sitting at a table, munching on some dango. He wasn't particularly happy with who Kakashi was thrusting upon him this month. He'd have preferred any other Genin; however, the man had offered him something too good to turn this down.

If he taught Hinata Hyuga, Kakashi would put him in contact with the blacksmithing family who forged and reforged the White Light Chakra Sabre. Considering Granolah was always looking for avenues to improve, securing a Chakra Weapon of his own design was too enticing.

Especially after his run in with Orochimaru showed how far he had to go as a Shinobi. Given he took great pride in his skills, he'd never consider allowing anyone he taught, even a Hyuga, to represent him poorly. He would train this girl just as he would anyone else.

As the heiress to the clan walked in, her eyes did settle on him; however, it was clear she didn't know exactly who her teacher for the month was supposed to be. For a second, Granolah did consider leaving, his disdain for his former clan rearing its ugly head.

He took a deep breath, to rid his mind of such thoughts, before nodding. "Kakashi sent you, right?"

Hinata approached the man and took a seat across from him. "Upon Kakashi informing me that my teacher did not like the Hyuga, I began to assume it might be you." She nodded. "Then, I spotted you; however, assumption makes a fool of me and you."

"At least she seems smart." Granolah sighed. "Look kid, I'm going to be honest with you. The fact is, I loathe the Hyuga Clan. I can't stand the separation or how the Branch Family is treated. It's why I honed my skills to the point I could get out at the first opportunity."

His eyes shifted to his sash. "Even with how the guardians turned out, I'd go through it one hundred times more before reconsidering my decision." He turned his gaze back to her. "The Hyuga are hypocritical windbags who put that seal on the Branch family to 'secure the Dojutsu'.

If that were their intention, they'd have made it mandatory for everyone or only those who would be Shinobi. In the end, main branch members can become Shinobi, and I'm just supposed to assume they won't end up losing an eye or two? Yeah, not how it works.

The fact is, it's only given to the Branch Family because tradition dictates they are to be subservient to the Main House. The only time you see a Main House member threatened with it is if they want to marry and leave the clan, or they simply want out."

"You're right." Hinata sighed as Granolah studied her. "The Hyuga Clan is mired in tradition that restricts freedom and fundamentally doesn't make sense. That's part of the reason why I want to be the next clan head." She shook her head. "I've learned about you Granolah.

You were a Main Branch member, but that doesn't mean you had any way to fight against tradition. Had you tried, you'd have likely been made a Branch Family member. To me, you had every right to leave the clan and nothing to gain by sticking around.

Me? I'm in line to be the next Clan Head, and once I reach that rank, the clan will have no choice. There will be no more Main or Branch families. We'll just be Hyuga. When that day comes, I hope you'll rejoin us.

That said, I can't become Clan Head stuck as a Genin for the rest of my life." She stood and bowed to him. "Granolah, please train me to the point I can secure the rank of Chunin. I need to obtain this if change it to be within reach."

"Hm, she really is just like how people say she is." Granolah sighed as he was finding it hard to hate this girl. "Stop bowing and retake your seat." Hinata did just that. "Now, we'll call this month a trial period. See if you can sway me to put my trust in you where Hiashi lost it."

"I won't let you down." Hinata voiced happily.

"Don't go celebrating yet." Granolah voiced firmly. "Anyone I teacher must follow three basic rules."

"Right." Hinata nodded. "I'm ready to listen."

"First, you do what I say." Granolah declared. "No complaining; no questioning."

"Understood." Hinata voiced.

"Second, you never tell me you 'can't' do something." Granolah pointed to his eyes. "We share these eyes, so I know they can achieve what I intend to teach you."

"Got it." Hinata stated.

"Third, you must commit fully to this training." Granolah stated. "Regardless of what you'll be trying to convince me of this month, regardless of my feelings towards the Hyuga…you commit fully to my training, and I'll have been glad to be your teacher."

"I promise to be the best pupil ever." Hinata declared.

"Alright." Granolah sighed before loosening up a bit and looking to the lady behind the counter. "A couple more orders of dango."

River: With Naruto

After Jiraiya and Naruto settled their differences, by agreeing to disagree, the former led the latter to a river where they'd be training.

"Alright kid, before we begin, there's something you need to understand that Kakashi tells me you aren't even aware of." Jiraiya voiced. "You possess two Chakras within you."

"Two Chakras?" Naruto asked.

"Haven't you ever felt the presence of a different Chakra?" Jiraiya asked.

"I'm not sure." Naruto crossed his arms as he thought about it. "Wait, I think it happened back during the second phase of the Chunin Exams. I had this upsurge of power when I faced off with Orochimaru. At the time, I didn't really think much about it, but now that your mention it…"

"I see." Jiraiya responded.

"It was brief, but I remember feeling something different from my usual Chakra." Naruto continued. "My normal Chakra…well, if it was a color, it'd be blue, but this other Chakra was red."

"I see." Jiraiya repeated. "Alright, the first step is for you to try building up that red Chakra."

"I'll give it a shot." Naruto declared.

He formed a hand sign and concentrated on his Chakra.

"Judging by his story, it seems danger and strong emotion are the keys to summoning the Nine Tailed Fox Chakra." Jiraiya thought.

"It's no good." Naruto sighed. "I searched for that red Chakra, yet all I was finding it my usual blue Chakra. getting the same Chakra as always."

"Perhaps it's getting in the way." Jiraiya mused. "Looks like we'll need to deplete your regular Chakra, so that all you have left to draw from is your red Chakra."

"Alright!" Naruto lept back. "Leave it to me." He made a hand sign. "Shadow Clone Jutsu." Four extra Narutos appeared. "With this, I can get rid of my extra Chakra quick, just watch."

The five Narutos each summoned twenty more, meaning there were now one hundred of them.

"Well, look at that." Jiraiya smiled. "I thought just one of you was trouble enough."

"Alright, listen up!" Naruto ran out ahead of his clones. "All of us will now have one battle royal. The last one standing is the strongest me."

"Yeah!"

From there, it became a free for all brawl between every Naruto as he worked to rid himself of his Chakra.

Waterfall & Lake: With Goku

Raditz was on his way to where Zabuza Momochi wanted to train his little brother, the waterfall which fed into a lake. Of course, Raditz was aware of the man from the bingo book, but Konoha had deemed him fit to serve as a Jonin.

With Kakashi Hatake personally deciding this man should train Goku, he wasn't going to have much of an issue with it. As he came upon the lake, Raditz overheard shouting and reasonably assumed that this was Zabuza.

"You need to pick up the fucking pace; otherwise, we might as well let a snail take your place in the final exam!" Zabuza yelled. "I bet it'd do better than you are anyways!"

Raditz could now see his brother using Water Walking to stand in the middle of the lake while holding and managing to swing the Executioner's Blade. Zabuza was insulting and curing at him while Haku threw small rocks at the Sarutobi. Upon seeing this, Raditz burst out laughing.

This drew everyone's attention. "I'm sorry, I just didn't expect this to be what I saw."

"Is there a problem with my training method?" Zabuza asked.

"No, the sight just got me laughing, but this is actually a perfect place to start." Raditz approached Zabuza and Haku. "One of the major phases to the Kamehameha is refined Chakra Control, and this has the added benefit of physical training."

"Also, your brother seems to have a knack for wielding a large blade." Haku voiced. "It was never fit for me, but Goku has taken rather well to it."

"He might have made the cut to wield one of the seven, if three other people got stomach aches!" Zabuza yelled at the boy. "You got a lot of work to do, so don't let Haku fill your head with pleasantries boy!"

"Understood Zabuza Sensei!" Goku voiced.

"Hey, you actually enjoying this Goku?" Raditz asked.

"Yeah." Goku turned and smiled at his brother. "It's only been an hour, yet I'm feeling good." His smiled turned determined. "I know with you, Zabuza Sensei, and Haku, I'll be ready for the final exam."

"You won't be ready if all we do is chit chat." Zabuza declared. "Get back to swinging that blade, or I'll go find that snail with a better shot at obtaining Chunin."

"Yes sir!" Goku declared as he proceeded to swing the blade.

Zabuza then patted Haku on the head. "Get back to throwing those rocks."

"Right." Haku declared.

Rather than stand around, Raditz activated his Byakugan and went about finding more rocks to ensure they didn't need a break to find more.

Forest: With Hinata

After partaking of dango together, Granolah led his student out into the forest where he now posed a question. "Hinata, how do the Hyuga typically fight?"

While Granolah no longer used that name, he'd naturally know the answer to his own question, given he could still fight like that. Asking this question was more to get her thinking along the same lines he had when seeking a way out of the Hyuga Clan.

Hinata cocked her head. "The Gentle Fist…like we both utilize."

"Let me put this another way." Granolah stated. "How is the server doing at clearing our table back at the dango shop?"

As they were not outside the range Hinata could presently see utilizing her Byakugan, the girl activated it, figuring that is what her teacher wanted, and looked. "She's just cleared the table and picked up the tip you left behind."

Granolah nodded. "Do you see my point now?"

"You wish to train me how to fight at range, just as you do." The heiress nodded. "The Byakugan's far sight is a gift unique to the Hyuga."

"Good, now I would like for you to observe just how useful throwing weapons can be within our hands." He walked a bit forward, activated his Byakugan, and withdrew plenty of shuriken. "Keep watch as I will hit the dead center of every tree branch within a hundred meters of here."

Hinata watched and was impressed with the skill on display. Granolah flawlessly hit every branch, just as he said he would, and did it with speeds greater than she's ever seen Sasuke capable of, him being her best comparison made here.

"Hopefully, you now see the value in a little lateral thinking." Granolah voiced. "Now, are you ready to get to work?"

Hinata nodded eagerly. "Yes, Granolah Sensei!"

River: With Naruto, Evening…

"Looks like the finale of this battle is close at hand." Jiraiya commented.

Over the hours of brawling, Naruto managed to work it down to just three clones. He headbutted one, making it dispel, before a second ran out to lock him in place. He turned the tables by flipping him over his shoulder and into the last clone, dispelling both.

"Nicely done." Jiraiya declared, Naruto being the only one standing now.

"Sure enough." The blond was panting and roughed up; however, he was left happy. "Just like I thought, I'm the strongest me."

He then collapsed to the ground prompting his current teacher to approach. "It seems to me that you've used up all your usual Chakra." The blond looked at him. "Now, I can teach you the technique."

"Yes!" Naruto was excited. "Oh man, I've been waiting for this all day!"

"I couldn't tell." Jiraiya stated sarcastically. "Anyways, onto the Summoning Jutsu. It is a teleportation technique in which one signs a contract, in blood with living creatures. Then, you may summon them whenever you like using Ninjutsu."

"This sounds perfect." Naruto declared.

"I showed you a summon at the bathhouses, so the next step is to sign this." Jiraiya took the scroll off his back and gave it to the boy. "This is one such contract I told you about, and it is to the toads. Sign your name in blood and stamp the finger prints of one hand beneath that."

Naruto did as he was told before nodding. "Alright, what's next?"

"After burning off your regular Chakra, it should be easier to release your red Chakra." Jiraiya informed. "So, give it a try with the hand signs I showed you earlier."

Naruto wove through the hand signs before slamming his palm on the ground. "Ninja Art: Summoning Jutsu!"

The formula appeared on the ground and there was a poof of smoke…only for a tadpole with legs to appear. Naruto stared on in disbelief while Jiraiya sweat dropped and one of his eyes twitched.

Canyon: Outside the Village, With Sasuke…

Kakashi brought Sasuke to a canyon area where both bound one of their respective arms to their own backs. The Jonin and Genin were then to climb the mountain only using that one arm. While both struggled with it, Kakashi still set a higher pace that Sasuke worked to keep up with.

"This is so much harder than it used to be." Kakashi thought, as they were slowly nearing the top. "Must be more out of shape than I thought."

Did not expect this as the first exercise." Sasuke thought as he followed his sensei up. "At least he's training me."

Eventually, the pair reached the top where they were greeted by none other than Anko. "You two finally made it."

Sasuke looked at the Tokubetsu Jonin. "This is my second teacher for the month?"

"It's like this Sasuke…" Kakashi began.

Flashback: Konoha, Day Prior…

Kakshi sighed as he thought he'd finally given her the slip; however, he should have known Anko wouldn't let this go easy. Perhaps attempting to hide in a dango shop had been the problem, this was her favorite food. In his defense, he didn't think she'd guess he'd hide here.

"Look Kakashi, I get you don't want to take Sasuke out of the exams, so I'll make you a compromise." Anko finally declared. "Let me train him over this month."

Given her own experiences with Orochimaru and the Curse Mark, Anko wanted to prevent anyone else from making the same mistakes she had.

"I'm fine with you doing that after the exams." Kakashi retorted. "During this time, I have something important to teach him that will take a lot of time to learn."

"There may not be time after the exams." Anko stated. "Contrary to what you think, that snake is not patient when something he wants is within view. If I show Sasuke a large majority of what that man could offer, the Uchiha's interest should die down."

"I can't deny that she makes a good point, and Sasuke is already fairly primed to learn Chidori." Kakashi sighed. "Alright, you win Anko; however, you'll need to bring your own supplies because we're training outside of the village."

"Done!" Anko agreed instantly.

"One more condition." Kakashi voiced. "You handle every detail that does not involve training Sasuke specifically. You'll have your time to train and counsel him, but I want to ensure Sasuke and I can get down what I want to teach him."

"Alright, I accept." Anko agreed, just as readily.

"Then, we'll be training at…"

Canyon: Present

"…that's about the size of it." Anko declared. "Now come on your two because I got camp ready, and dinner has been cooking."

Two Jonin training him, even if one was a Tokubetsu, was a golden opportunity. It was to the point that Sasuke didn't care he would have to/would listen to whatever Anko had to say on Orochimaru.

River: With Naruto, Evening…

"Alright, that's enough training for today." Jiraiya voiced, before starting to walk away.

"We can't be done already!" This prompted Naruto to follow. "Come on, I need to get as strong as possible to make Chunin!"

"In training as in cooking, a watched pot never boils." Jiraiya informed. "We'll pick this up first thing tomorrow while heading off now to get a nice soak in."

Bathhouse: Night…

Despite being against this initially, Naruto had to admit that a good soak was perfect after how hard he worked this first day.

"This is great." Naruto marveled.

Jiraiya took a drink of sake. "Nothing beats relaxing after a long day of training."

"Hey Pervy Sensei, what was my mom like?" Naruto asked.

"You're actually a lot like her, Naruto." Jiraiya informed. "No mistaking it, you're her boy."

"No fooling?" Naruto asked hopefully.

"Oh yeah." Jiraiya nodded. "You mom was a live wire, yet she had a huge heart full of love."

"Do you…" Naruto stopped since he didn't usually like to be this vulnerable with anyone; however, his need to know had to be satiated. "Do you think she really would have loved me?" Jiraiya looked at him. "I know she apparently loved me, but would she love who I am now?"

"Well, on your dad's team he had this boy named Obito Uchiha." Jiraiya chuckled. "From the few times I met him, kid shared traits with who she was, so he had similar traits to you. From what Minato told me, she'd often tell him that kid was her favorite."

Naruto smiled at that. From there, the two continued to soak and speak about Kushina more. While Naruto intended to make good on visiting the Third once the exams wrapped up, he had to admit it was nice getting information on his mother now.

Canyon: With Sasuke

Everyone had dinner and sat within the camp Anko had made for them.

"Look Sasuke, I want to start talking about Orochimaru with you." Anko stated.

"What makes you such an expert?" Sasuke asked. "Why do you care this much about him?"

"Aside from Orochimaru's fellow Sanin or Sensei, Anko here would happen to know the most about him." Kakashi informed. "She was his student. In fact, she was the student he took an especially strong interest in."

"When Orochimaru was driven out of the village by the Third, I ended up leaving to join him." Anko sighed. "Back when I was young and foolish, I idolized Orochimaru. I wanted to be a Shinobi with strength and wisdom like his.

He taught me many of his signature Jutsu, talked with me about his research into immortality, and let me sign the contract with the snakes. Not long after I found him, Orochimaru gave me the same curse mark he gave you." She showed it. "I lacked the drive to fuel it, so he abandoned me.

I was found in the Land of Sea with a lack of memories from my time with him." She looked at the Uchiha firmly. "That's what he does Sasuke. He can make it out like you're important to him, only to throw you away when your use is at an end.

Conversely, even after he abandoned me, Konoha was willing to give me a second chance. I had abandoned home, yet here I stand serving it as a Tokubetsu Jonin. That's Orochimaru in a nutshell. All he does is use people to further his own agenda.

Will he make you strong? Sure, I won't deny that; however, Konoha holds plenty of ways to make one strong to. Your sensei, for instance, was in Anbu. Not to mention his own father was considered equal or better than any of the Sanin."

Sasuke went wide eyed as he stared at Kakashi upon hearing that.

"Sakumo Hatake was my father." Kakashi informed. "He was a man who cared deeply for his comrades yet was punished harshly for a mistake surrounding that care. Still, the point stands he garnered his power from his drive to defend his friends."

"I understand you want strength; however, the strength you seek is here in the village." Anko informed. "There is no end of talent to be had, and I know plenty of what Orochimaru could show you. I'm planning on imparting as much of that as possible this month.

I'd be willing to keep showing you things after the Chunin Exams to boot. As for your goal of killing Itachi, he's a rogue of the Leaf. I know you want to kill him yourself, but that doesn't have to be the case. Being part of a village means you are not alone in anything."

Sasuke was genuinely starting to rethink his prior encounter with Orochimaru, based around all this new information he was receiving. One such source was a former student of Orochimaru who understood the man better than most in the village could ever dream to.

Well Outside Konoha

Vegeta eventually made his way out of Konoha and towards the area he'd designated as his team's base camp. He'd spent enough time on contemplation. Now, it was time for action. He'd make Orochimaru regret ever thinking they were just pawns.

"It's been long enough without me to the point…" Upon reaching the clearing, he saw it was empty. "Did Kin grow to dislike me to the point she'd convince Zaku not to show up? No, this isn't their style. Those two would let me know exactly what they thought before leaving."

Suddenly, his head perked up and Vegeta lunged back, feet first, into the trunk of a tree. Not even a moment later, multiple shuriken hit where he had been standing. The Genin rushed up the trunk and lept atop the nearest branch before peering out into the night.

"Figures Orochimaru would work to tie up loose ends." Vegeta called out. "My use to him his finished."

"You still have a use, just as much as those teammates of yours do."

Four of the rank-and-file lept atop branches around the clearing. They wore black pants, long sleeved black shirts underneath lavender tunics, and black face mask with the music note plate displayed front and center.

"I'm done being of use to that snake." Vegeta declared firmly. "If you all want to be good dogs, you'll have to work to appease your master. Trust me, I won't be going down like Zaku and Kin did."

"Do you really think you're that much above them, Genin?"

Vegeta held up a hand sign just as they hurled kunai his way resulting in them harmlessly passing through a mere afterimage. Almost immediately after, the whole clearing was filled with Vegetas.

"Shadow clones!?"

"No, they're just afterimage clones."

"I can't see the real one!"

Suddenly, all four Shinobi were attacked in rapid succession by two Vegeta each. One would elbow them in the gut while another would kick them in the back of the head. By the time it got to the last one, he managed to leap down to the clearing ground and avoid the strikes.

"Nice try kid, but some of us are just…"

Suddenly, all the Vegetas disappeared, and the last Sound Shinobi's gaze was drawn to the brush where a purple light was emanating from.

"Galick Gun!" Vegeta's voice rang out.

A purple beam fired forth quickly nailing the opposing Shinobi in the gut and pushing him up against a tree. When the beam of Chakra died down, the Oto Shinobi collapsed to the ground, unable to move.

Off in the brush, Vegeta took in a few deep breaths before ultimately turning and tearing off back towards Konoha. He didn't know exactly what Orochimaru wanted with him, but he had a gut feeling it'd mean the end of his life. Vegeta would not die like pitiful trash.

"You really should have sent stronger men Orochimaru!" Vegeta thought.

As things stood, Vegeta knew he didn't have enough knowledge to seek true sanctuary with Konoha. No, his best bet was to stay there this month and react accordingly when Orochimaru made whatever move he was working towards now.

Training Field: Morning…

Guy stood off to the side, his arms crossed and eyes closed, while Lee and Turles stood across from one another in their proper stances. Both boys have taken their weights up to the next level in preparation for the final phase.

Guy's eyes snapped open. "Begin!"

His students sprinted at one another before getting into a Taijutsu exchange, and it was clear from jump that Lee had an absolute advantage. His one year of experience and training just trumped the months Turles had.

Even so, he hung in there determined not to slow his teammate down and garner exponential experience himself. He saw no other choice than this if he wanted to be strong enough to take Gaara down. As such, he fought with all the ferocity he could muster.

Forest…

"Palm Rotation!" Neji shouted.

All the weapons Tenten hurled Neji's way were deflected once more. As she landed, the girl was heavily panting and looked positively battered. Neji himself certainly looked battered, though his energy was still far better than his Genin teammates at this time.

"Just once more…" Tenten managed before collapsing.

"I think you've pushed yourself enough this morning." Neji approached and picked Tenten up bridal style. "You need rest before meeting with Hayate this afternoon."

Tenten blushed as her usual protest at being handled like this fell silent from just how tired she was. It's not that she didn't like having Neji hold her like this, but it was sort of their routine by this point. Given her current state, she opted to enjoy the ride as he carried her out of the forest.

Training Ground 8

Sakura held two kunai as Kiba and Kurenai, holding one and two kunai respectively, charged her. Shino stood back, letting his bugs lose with the intention of giving his teammate something to avoid as she contended with their other teammates.

As the sole member of Team 8 to make it into the final phase, everyone was preparing Sakura to do her absolute best. Taijutsu, Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, kunai, shuriken, endurance, strength, and speed training where all on the list of things they'd work her through this month.

BBQ: Lunch

Shikamaru was positively battered and ached all over as he took a seat at the table with Asuma and Choji. Training this hard was an absolute drag; however, he asked his sensei not to let up, even if he later asked for it. If Turles failed to beat Gaara, he wanted to do it himself.

Given the guy contained something truly frightening that drove him psychotic, the Nara had no idea if he could achieve such a feat. Especially if anyone Gaara had to fight prior couldn't pull it off. The fact remained that red head intended to kill one of his comrades.

Shikamaru found he just couldn't brush that off, like a lot of things in his life. If it resulted in him making Chunin, then so be it. He'd save the complaining about such a promotion after it potentially happened.

Hinata will be spending this month learning from the the Leaf's Sniper, Granolah. While a month may seem like a short span of time to be picking up such a drastically different sill, Granolah is a prodigious talent. Plus, this Team 7 has a far more solid base to be branching in all these differing directions, and they have each other in mind as people to compete against. Now, for the rest of this chapter. Goku is learning how to wield a big sword; however, I don't see him taking it to the finals.

I also know it's rather popular to have this blade go to Haku, one way or another, yet I never really saw a buster sword as something Haku would wield. I think Haku knows this and wouldn't be jealous of Goku. Anyways, at this point Goku will still be bringing his staff into the final phase. It does bear letting people know that this isn't all Goku's going to be doing this month. Then, there is Sasuke where this first day isn't completely focused on what he's going to be started on learned.

Its instead focused on Anko beginning to inform him of just who Orochimaru is. Now, will this end up dissuading Sasuke from going to Orochimaru? That remains to be seen. Sure, Anko staved off the darkness this mark brings, but that doesn't necessarily mean Sasuke will when potentially faced, or not faced, with what happens later. Here, Vegeta differs from Dosu in that he's not attempting to kill anyone to get at Sasuke, and even if he did, he'd have to go after Omoi.

Instead, he goes to meet with his team; however, Orochimaru has already had them collected to be used as sacrifices for Edo Tensei. He was hoping to do the same with Vegeta. Given Goku here has Flying Rajin, I decided Vegeta would invertedly take on Shisui's use of the Body Flicker. In the end, he won and has gone back to the Leaf where he'll await whatever Orochimaru's next move is. It's safe to say that whatever shreds of loyalty remained have been burned by this attempt.

Lastly, you get a taste of what the other Leaf Shinobi are doing for training. The next two chapters will only focus on Team 7's training and some extra stuff involving Goku and Naruto I want to include. Basically, it'll be covering this stories version of things leading right up to the night before the final phase. I'll even say right now that the last parts of that will focus on something to do with Goku and then another part focusing in on Naruto.

Dontus -not Donut- Powerus: As I've said before, I am still forming a general idea on who is responsible for Bardock, as well as Yamoshi, in this universe. While I don't think Hamura was the one to show up in Goku's dream/information thing, having Bardock and Yamoshi being born on the moon is an idea to mull over. as for the Kamehameha, you can't just go rewritting every name of moves from Dragon Ball.

As for where the Kamehameha lies, do remember that this is an element crossed over from another series. As such, it could be a different variation of peak Chakra Control. As for learning a technique like this in a month, dependning on who you ask, Naruto of canon learned the Rasengan in less than a month. As for Raditz, keep in mind he's five years older than his younger brothers. He already learned this from Grandpa Gohan around his first go at Chunin years ago.

As for Palm Rotation, it's unclear to some weather Neji already knew it; however, I'm of the mindset that he didn't have it prior to the final round. I say this because we see him practicing Palm Rotation with Tenten. He was literally training to get it. Given how Hiashi added Bardock protecting him the night of Janemba and turned that into allowing the sons of Gine to train with them without having to define themselves as Hyuga, he could have it.
