"Yeah he comes off like a drunk asshole but it's an act. He's a lot smarter than he lets on, not computer smart mind you it's more like….he knows how to play the situation and that's what makes him dangerous." - Cass

What the fuck.

WHAT THE FUCK

WHAT. THE. FUCK.

This wasn't real. It couldn't be. Right? He was just on the Strip a second ago. He went outside for a smoke break and before he could finish his puff he found himself in some kind of….what the hell is this place?

He reached into his suit jacket and pulled out a 9mm pistol and was pointing it in all directions.

"Excuse me?" A feminine voice asked.

Instinctively the man turned and began firing in the direction the voice came from.

He saw a figure dive behind a rotten tree for cover as he unloaded four shots towards her.

"That was your only warning shot asshole you hear me?!" He yelled a mixture of fear and rage filling his voice.

"I don't mean any harm!" The woman shouted.

The man ignored her words and fired another bullet. "Do you have any idea who you're fucking with?! Any idea who I work for!?"

"Please sir! I swear I have no idea what you are talking about. I saw you and you seemed lost and I only wish to help you." The woman pleaded.

The man hesitated but slowly lowered his gun.

"Okay I won't shoot, just come out and keep your hands raised." He said.

He didn't know what to expect but nothing could have prepared him for what came from behind the tree with raised hand.

She had pink hair, horns, wings, and a tail.

"Okay let's start off with names. I'm Natasha, what's your name?"

He screamed louder than he ever had.

Now that Six thinks about it he's been kidnapped a lot. First it was Benny and those dipshit Khan's, then it was Father Elijah and that goddamn casino, then the think tank and the fucking satellite. But none of those compared to being lifted off the ground by a mutant bird.

Six was kicking his feet in the air and had his hands clutched around the bird legs that dug into his shoulders for dear life.

"Hehe you're a lot heavier than I thought you'd be~"

Six stopped his flailing as he heard a woman's voice. Six looked up and saw that this mutant bird had the torso and head of a human woman. But instead of arms she had two large wings covered in black feathers and had talons and feet that would belong to an avian.

The wasteland, Sierra Madre, nor the Big Empty ever had a creature like this.

Six pulled Lucky out and blindly let two shots off upwards. Regardless if the bullets actually hit the harpy the monster let out a surprised shriek and let go of the courier.

It was at this moment Six knew he fucked up.

Six was in free fall. He felt his hat leaving his head from the wind and yet kept a firm grip on Lucky as if the pistol would hold some kind of answer to his impending death.

Six flailed in the air as so many thoughts ran through his head. Was this how it ended? Surviving a bullet to the head, suffocation in a cloud of death, the divide, Lanius, all of it just to die from being dropped by a bird with tits?

It was then the courier felt something wrap around his waist and press against his back and his descent was halted.

"Don't worry Six I got you." A familiar voice assured. "Are you okay?

Six knew the voice belonged to Delilah but when he looked upwards once again it wasn't the woman Six knew. Her deep blue skin, horns, bat wings, and everything else was the most foreign thing the courier had ever witnessed.

Before Six could respond an arrow that glowed a brilliant mixture of blue and white struck Delilah in the right shoulder. The skin around the impaled shoulder sizzled as if the arrow burned the demon. In the sudden shock of pain Delilah let go of Six and he was once again falling. Luckily the distance to the ground was significantly less then when the bird dropped Six and any momentum the courier had gained stopped when Delilah caught him.

When Six hit the ground he landed on his back letting his reinforced spine soak up most of the impact. He felt his left shoulder shatter and yelled in pain as he laid in the dirt.

"Thank God for a robot spine." Six thought.

Six forced his broken body to retrieve a stimpack from his duster and stabbed the needle into his broken shoulder.

That was two of his only three stimpacks used up, a fact that did not comfort the courier.

Six sat up and looked around the area. He spotted Medicine Stick in the dirt and, it must have slipped off him during the fall, and looked over the rifle for any damages. Satisfied that his gun was still functional he holstered it over his back.

"Oh my Demon Lord Six are you okay?!"

As soon as Six heard that question the courier drew Lucky and his secondary revolver and aimed both pistols at the demon who remained a foot off the ground. She clutched her shoulder where the arrow once was and an inky black liquid oozed from the wound.

"What the actual fuck are you?!" Six demanded.

In truth Six was at his limit with this place weird mutants were par for the course but this has to be something else.

"Six I kn-" Delilah stopped speaking and covered her mouth with her hands in a mixture of shock and horror.

"Y-your head! By the Demon Lord what happened?" Delilah asked.

Six Remembered that his hat was lost during the fall and who knows where it landed so now all his scars were on display for all to see. Damn that was his favorite hat.

And it was now Six took in Delilah's new look, specifically her now outfit. Instead of the blue dress she was previously wearing it was now a very revealing one piece. Six was ashamed to admit that even in this monstrous form he still thought she looked hot.

Six shook his head in an attempt to get his head back on track.

"Forget my head, what the hell are you?! You were human a minute ago and now you have horns, a tail, and- wait a second." Six paused these descriptions seemed eerily familiar.

"Wait, are you the devil?"

If so Six owed Joshua an apology and a LOT of questions.

Delilah gently waved her hands in the air. "No, I'm a demon, devils are something else entirely." Delilah clarified.

"That just raises even more questions!" Six yelled.

The arguing was interrupted at the sound of hooves hitting the ground as both demon and courier saw that Primera advanced on the pair. Once the hero was close enough distance the half elf archer jumped from her steed and did an acrobatic roll into a fighting position with her bow drawn and an arrow already pulled back aimed at Delilah. Six took note that the arrow was glowing.

"Damn monster I will strike you down!" The archer exclaimed.

"You! You ruined Everything!" Delilah's eyes began glowing a deep red as the demon lifted her left hand and magical circles spun around her hand and wrist as the demon prepared to cast a spell.

"I'd rethink that if I were ya darlin'" Six warned as he pointed Lucky's barrel at Primera.

The archer and Demon were in shock. "You point your weapon at me even though this demon stands before you?!" Primera asked.

"Oh Six I knew you felt the same!" Delilah happily said with a dark blue blush washing across her face.

"I wouldn't say that." Six pulled the hammer of the revolver focused on Delilah to emphasize his point. "I don't trust or love either one of ya!" Six yelled as the three stood ready for a fight.

Primera's arrow aimed at Delilah, Delilah's spell focused Primera, And Six had a Pistol trained on both.

"Six I know you must have a lot of questions." Delilah said.

"No shit." Six confirmed.

"But I assure you what you know of mamono kind is vastly different from reality."

"Don't listen to her Six!" Primera yelled not taking her eyes off the monster girl. "Demons are notorious for deceit and manipulation, everything she says is a lie!"

"And how do I know you ain't the one lyin'?" Six asked. "I don't know either one of ya from the dirt on my boots."

"How?! Because she is a monster like any you've come across." Primera explained.

"I've NEVER seen anything like her." Six said.

"I am amongst the more rare breed of mamono." Delilah said with a hint of smugness.

"No, I mean I've never seen a 'mamono' until yesterday. What the hell even are they?" The courier said, earning a confused look from both Delilah and Primera.

"What do you mean you've never seen a monster girl?" Primera asked.

"'What I mean' is where I'm from there's a million things trying to kill you and none of them look like bombshells right off of a poster." Six said.

Delilah and Primera both processed what this strange man had said. Assuming that 'bombshell' meant a woman then it meant Six's home was devoid of monster girls.

"Where do you come from Six?" Delilah absently asked, still trying to take in this information.

"If yer askin' then I'll assume you this whole 'I'll show ya the way' shit was a lie." Six said.

Delilah winced. It was technically true. She was luring Six to mamono territory under false pretenses.

"It's more complicated than that." Delilah said.

"It's as I said Six! Demons lie and brainwash their victims!" Primera said.

"We do not!" Delilah shouted back even though she knew it was true. Many demons didn't follow Druella's codex and often did as they pleased either under the nose of Druella or in one of her sister's domains.

It was when Primera said 'brainwash' that Six remembered something strange from the previous night.

"Last night at the bar." Six began gaining the pair's attention. "When ya whispered in my ear I couldn't stop thinkin' bout having sex with ya." The revelation caused Delilah to have a blissful expression.

"That was a demon's charm, she attempted to manipulate your mind with her magic!" Primera explained.

Six decided not to focus on the 'magic' part at the moment and looked to Delilah.

Delilah's expression of joy soured into one of immense guilt. "I-I did use magic on you, but Six please let me explain." Delilah pleaded.

"See! This thing can't be trusted, join me so we may strike her down." Primera said.

Six was too angry to respond. Six hated being manipulated; it was one of the reasons he put House down. It just reminded him of when the Brotherhood of Steel forced him into servitude via bomb collar, twice!

"I don't think so sweetie." Both women flared with anger at the nickname for opposite reasons. "I didn't want to use this so soon but I ain't got lotta options." Six holstered the Lucky and reached into his duster and retrieved the stealthboy.

"I think I'll leave ya both ta settle this yerselves, if one of ya'll lives; don't come lookin' fer me." With that Six pressed the button and disappeared from sight.

"Invisibility magic?!" Delilah exclaimed. This was bad she couldn't let Six get away. It was still fixable; she can still see Six's spirit energy, it was hard to miss after all.

Primera had different plans. The archer took advantage of the demon's distraction and let her arrow loose and hit the demon in her thigh causing the monster girl to shriek in pain and just like the previous arrow her skin burned from the exposure to the Chief God's magic.

Primera drew another arrow and imbued it with holy magic just as she had done before.

However when this arrow was shot it was caught mid air by Delilah. The demon dropped the arrow as it burned her palm and rose in the air another few feet.

"I have waited centuries to find my true love, and now everything I have waited for is in shambles thanks. To. YOU!" Delilah yelled as she shot a stream of black and purple energy at Primera.

The archer nimbly dodged the blast and fired another arrow at the demon. The arrow had split into three arrows and curved in the air to hit its target in separate areas. Delilah waved her hand and a translucent shield of energy surrounded her blocking the projectiles.

"Using your magic to power up your arrows? I'll give you points for creativity but you must know that all of this is in vain." Delilah mocked as the demon waved another hand.

Suddenly several shadowy portals opened around Primera and inky black tentacles shot out from them entangling the hero. A tentacle wrapped around Primera's left arm causing her to drop her bow, a second tentacle wrapped her legs together and a third secured her waist lifting her into the air.

Using her free hand Primera brandished a short sword and swiftly severed herself from the appendages landing gracefully.

The half elf dived towards her dropped bow but in a flash of purple Delilah teleported right in front of the archer and lifted the hero by her neck.

Primera attempted to stab the demon with her short sword but was caught by Delilah's free hand.

"You know I think some horns would do you wonders, don't you agree?" Delilah's hands tightened as she began channeling demonic energy "I'm sure you have someone that holds your heart right?"

"T-that's none of your business!" Primera yelled, in truth as she was bracing herself for whatever the demon had in store for her an image of a certain red haired knight in training filled her head as some form of comfort in her final moments.

"Hohohoh so you do! Don't worry I promise he'll love your new look!" Delilah said as she readied herself to flood the archer with demonic energy.

It was then she paused as a thought pushed through all the anger in the demon's head.

"Rule 4: Do not force monsterization on an unwilling subject."

Even now Delilah's devotion to Druella tested her. How badly she wanted to transform one of the chief god's heroes into a demon, to see the defeated look of lust plastered on the archer's face, to make her pay for ruining her plans with Six.

But her loyalty was to the royal family first and herself second.

Delilah wordlessly dropped the hero to the ground.

"It is by my lady's grace I leave you as you are, however once you break your leash from the chief god feel free to find me I'd be happy to show you what a life of love and acceptance looks like." With that the demon teleported in another flash of purple.

The archer sat in the dirt with her fists clenched and teeth bared. She knew that it was an uphill battle, demons were upper class monsters and required at least two heroes to deal with on average. Unfortunately that did not help wash the bitter taste of defeat from Primera's mouth.

It didn't help that it seemed the demon let her go out of pity. It did confuse Primera though, pity or not the demon was about to corrupt her and change her into something terrible yet she didn't.

It didn't change the fact that Primera came so close to losing everything. If she had been transformed into some elf/demon hybrid she'd never be able to go home, granted there wasn't much for her to go back to but there would be people she'd never get to see again.

Primera shook her head, this wasn't the time to wallow in self in what-ifs. The archer rose to her feet and collected her weapons.

"Six." Primera thought. If what the courier said was true and he hails from a land devoid of monster girls then it was something the higher ups of the order needed to hear.

But if he has access to invisibility magic it won't be easy to track him.

For normal people that is.

Primera was an expert when it came to the wilderness. Foraging, hunting, and especially tracking were all areas Primera excelled at.

Invisible he may have been but invisibility didn't cover up boot prints in the dirt. Primera had her first clue and soon she would find Six and drag him back to Lescatie by choice or by force.

Six was sitting against a tree fiddling with his pipboy. The dulled glow provided any type of light that could be seen.

After using his stealth boy to get away Six hightailed it away and traversed into the forest to throw any potential pursuers off his trail as opposed to taking the main road. He marched for hours well past the sun setting but now was resting.

This was wrong. This was ALL wrong this place was fucked up beyond Six's comfort zone.

Mutants? Sure. Raiders? A cap a dozen. Cannibals? One trick ponies.

But this? Gorgeous women with wings and tails were too weird for him and Six has seen some weird shit. Not to mention the sudden declaration of love from Delilah but he chalked it up to some weird manipulation tactic. He once met a merchant all the way from West Virginia who told stories of 'moth-people' and 'wendigos' and a whole itinerary of strange creatures. Six assumed the man was just on a bad jet trip but after this Six didn't know what to believe.

Regardless Six was back at square one with no idea where he was and no way of knowing if he was even on the right track of getting back to New Vegas.

Currently Six was using his pipboy to find a radio signal yet nothing came. Grunting in defeat Six opted to set an alarm on his pip boy so he could get a couple hours of sleep. The courier was currently operating on two days without rest and would soon be pushing his limits. It didn't help that his supplies were dwindling. It's been two days since he's shown up and he's already down two stimpacks and a stealth boy. The fact Six was unable to recover his favorite hat didn't help his mood either.

Luckily Partlov had been kind enough to send him off with some provisions. He ate some dried meat earlier and took a swig from his canteen before attempting to sleep.

As Six closed his eyes he began to think of Vegas. He only had limited time before Yes Man initiated the 'Lost Package' protocol but the infighting would more than likely start before that.

Which family would make a move first? Omerta's probably. Six trusted Cachino when he was present but without Six there to keep the families in check the Omerta's would more than likely fall into old habits. Marjorie always hated Cachino; she'll probably try to get the Chairmen to gang up on the former Slitherkin.

Swank was the one family head that Six trusted. Despite Six killing Benny Swank held no ill will. After Six took power from House the Chairmen asserted themselves as the courier's go to family.

Six even attended Swank's poker night as often as he could.

Six's reminiscing was interrupted by the subtle sound of a cracking tree branch.

Six's eyes shot open as he pulled out Lucky and fired two shots in the direction of the sound. Immediately he heard movement on his left. Before the courier could stand an arrow hit Lucky right out of Six's hand. Six drew his secondary revolver and unsheathed Blood Nap as he stood and tried to identify where the attacker was.

Suddenly he was ambushed from behind as the stranger with him in the back with something sturdy. With all the implants Six had the blow barely affected him. Six swung around and attempted to slash the attacker with Blood Nap. Granted Six wasn't as well trained with melee weapons as he was with guns he could hold his own against a legion recruit but put him something like a ranger and he'd only win if the knife shot bullets.

"Note to self: have the think tank look into a knife gun."

The stranger effortlessly dodged the swings and jumped back and pulled back another arrow.

The arrow began to glow and the light revealed the face of the attacker.

Six seethed with anger. "Thought I told ya what'd happen if ya followed me." Six said to Primera.

The half elf archer glared at the courier. "You're threats don't scare me, I'm willing to talk this through if you lower your weapons."

"Nah, I reckon we're past that point." Six said as he activated V.A.T.S

Six aimed his revolver and as he did Primera let her arrow loose. The arrow only traveled half the distance between the two before it exploded in a brilliant white light.

There wasn't any type of shrapnel or heat of an explosion from the arrow but the light blinded Six causing his shot to miss the archer.

Six's eyes weren't able to adjust in time to see Primera fire another arrow disarming him of his other pistol. Six was able to make out where the blurry figure was and charged the half elf. Six grabbed hold of Primera and tackled her against a tree slamming her back and head against the sturdy bark.

The attack caused Primera to drop her bow. Six went to impale Primera with Blood Nap. Primera was barely able to move in time, letting the knife only slash her unprotected side. Her skin split, letting blood to leak but the damage did not go any deeper than that. Six had put so much force into that attack that Blood Nap embedded itself into the tree.

Primera grabbed another arrow from her quiver and made a bright green glow surround the projectile. The archer stabbed the arrow into the ground by Six's foot and rolled away before the magic could take effect.

Suddenly thick vines grew from where the arrow was and began to entangle Six.

The courier attempted to grab his knife but all his limbs were ensured by the vegetation. Six attempted to push his strength implant to its limits and rip his way out but right as a vine began to tear two more green glowing arrows were shot into the ground leading to twice as many vines binding Six in place.

Looking up, Six saw the Primera once again had her bow in hand and aimed at him with a triumphant look plastered on her face.

"If yer expectin' ta hear me beg yer gonna be disappointed." Six said as he prepared himself. "Justget it over with already!"

Primera lowered her bow. "Once again you misunderstand my intentions sir Six."

Primera winced at the pain coming from her side. The half elf pulled a vial of red liquid from her satchel and uncorked the bottle. She drank most of the liquid and splashed what little remained onto her wound.

Between the blood coating the side of her body and the dark Six couldn't see the wound seal itself up but assumed that whatever the mutant girl drank fixed her up.

"Drinkable stimpacks? That's gotta be handy."

Primera then pulled another arrow out and stabbed into a nearby tree. The arrow began to glow, providing a light for both Primera and Six to see clearly.

"If I release you will you continue fighting?" Primera asked.

"Not like I'm in a position to bargain." Six said.

Primera said nothing as she raised an expecting eyebrow.

Sigh let out a defeated sigh. "No I won't." Six confirmed.

Primera let out a satisfied hum and waved her hand with a green glow.

The vines began unwrapping themselves from six and sank back into the ground.

"Neat trick." Six said as he began collecting his weapons.

"I know you don't trust me, I can't say I don't feel the same towards you, but I truly don't mean you harm." Primera said.

Six believed her. If she wanted she could have killed him then and there, something that deeply upset the courier.

After Six reclaimed his weapons he sat on the ground leaning against the same tree he tackled the half elf into.

"How'd ya find me?" Six asked. He was sure he covered his tracks.

"I'll admit it wasn't easy, you knew what you were doing and it took me hours to catch your trail but I'm the Order's best tracker, you shouldn't feel ashamed." Primera said as she remained standing. He may have said he wasn't going to attempt another attack but Primera wasn't taking any chances.

"Appreciate the compliment darlin'." Six said.

"Don't call me that." Primera said firmly. There was only ONE person she'd ever let call her that.

Six merely grunted in indifference and pulled the bottle of wine he got from Edwin from his travel bag.

"Alright, ya wanted to talk? I'm all ears." Six said taking a swig from the bottle.

"As I told you before, I am a hero of the Order of the Chief God, Primera Concerto from the capitol Lescatie." The archer began. "Our order is dedicated to the protection of humans and the eradication of monsters such as the one that you were traveling with."

Six raised a hand to pause her speech. "Just so ya know I had no fuckin' clue what she was."

"I believe you." Primera assured. "But it was the fact you weren't under her spell that concerns me. She was what's known as a Demon, a type of monster that is infamous for manipulating others into serving them yet you were unaffected and still in your right mind."

Six snorted. "And here I thought I haven't been in my right mind since I got here."

"Which brings me to my next point, you implied you had never seen a monster girl is that correct?" The archer asked.

"If yer askin' if I got a bunch of big breasted women with wings, tails, or pointed ears from where I'm from then no I don't." Six said taking another drink.

"Where is it you're from?" Primera asked.

"I'm from New Vegas. It's in what's left of the country of America." Six answered.

Primera mulled over the information. "I've neve-"

"Never heard of the place. Yeah I know ya ain't the first person ta say that." Six interrupted.

"Be that as it may, a land devoid of monsters is unheard of and my people would be interested in hearing about this and how you were able to ward off demonic energy." Primera said.

Six looked confused at this. "Ward off what?"

"I suppose it makes sense you don't know if you've never encountered them before. Monsters like that demon naturally give off demonic energy that corrupts those around them, it changes how they act, turning them into deprived and unrecognizable forms of who they were and eventually turning them into monsters themselves."

Six nodded in understanding. "Okay I'm followin' ya so far these mutants give off radiation the fucks people up, dosen't explain why my geiger didn't go off, but I get what yer saying but aint ya one of 'em?" Six asked.

The mere disrespect of the question pushed any confusion of what six meant by 'radiation' or 'mutants' out of Primera's head and filled it with rage.

"HOW DARE YOU!" Primera shouted. "To compare me to one of those things is-" Once again she was cut off by the courier.

"Easy easy I didn't mean nothing by it I was just askin' cuz of the ears." Six said point to his own ear to illustrate his point.

Primera took a breath to calm herself. She had to remind herself that this man didn't know any better.

"My father was human and my mother was what's known as an 'elf' despite what some may say elves are not monsters."

Six processed what she said. "Y'all got some weird slang 'round these parts." he said ignoring the hypocrisy.

Six stood up from his spot which reminded himself how this girl who was a head shorter just kicked his ass.

"This girl has flash bang arrows and some kind of instant plant growth tech." Six thought. It wasn't the strangest weapon he's seen, but it still meant this girl was dangerous.

"So yer people wanna quiz me on where I'm from and what's in my closet, that right?" Six asked.

"I assure you we don't care what your wardrobe contains." Primera said, confused.

At this point Six didn't care if these people didn't get what he was saying.

"Not what I meant, look one of the townies in Partlov said Lescatie might have some kind of map leadin' me back home you think there's fire ta that smoke?" Six asked.

Primera looked annoyed. "Would it kill you to talk normally? But yes the Lescatie grand library contains text and maps tracing back thousands of years it is possible that it may have information of your homeland."

Six bit the inside of his cheek it was a gamble but it's a lead nonetheless it wasn't like he trusted Delilah's information at this point.

"Alright, here's the deal. I'll go with ya an' whistle my tune and in return ya point me in the right direction of gettin' me home." Six said, extending his hand.

Primera looked cautious but took the hand and shook it. "Deal."

Taking a detour was the last thing Six wanted to do but he had to remind himself of the wasteland's golden rule.

"'Thou shalt get sidetracked by bullshit every goddamn time.'"

(A/N: And done! Sorry this chapter took a minute but jobs and bills don't care about fanfiction. Anyway a lot has happened lately the new Fallout show (which is fantastic btw) and unfortunately 'Fallout: Stranded' was deleted which was a major bummer if by some miracle the author is reading this please re upload your story. Anyway like I said before I am changing up a bit of the MGE lore here and ther but I'm only doing so to improve the story and one of the changes is giving the chief god's heroes a well needed buff I've seen to many fics where the main characters get tossed around like a wet paper bag and wanted to give them a little more presence any way comment what you think so far and if I made any grammar errors feel free to say so I'm not that great at catching those in edit but thank you all again so much for reading and hope to see you again next chapter.)

Oh and here's the S.P.E.C.I.A.L for Primera. I'll do other characters in future chapters.
