Akarii: 4000
Sayer and Akarii stood opposite sides in the Halls of the Arcadia Movement.
Yusei was off to look for Akiza, Leaving his dear friend to deal with her old enemy...
This Duel would be a dangerous one.
Sayer was a Psychic, just like everyone else within these walls...
Any power from his cards could and would be made real.
Which meant Any damage Akarii would take would also be made real...
If I'm gonna survive this...I'll have to stay strong.
She thought to herself.
Stubborn and strong...please big brother...where ever you are...
Kai...watch over me.
"I'll go first!" she stated, swiping a card from her deck and scanning her hand.
"And I'll start this Duel off...byt activating this Spell card! Call Of The Mummy!" she said, " With this spell, as long as I have no monsters on my field- that means I can special summon a Zombie monster from my hand!" she said, "And now by tapping into this power- I special summon from my hand- Double Coston!" she stated.
Double Coston
ATK: 1700
DEF: 1650
"Now since this summon was a special summon...that meand I still have my normal summon left!" she claimed, "So with that in mind, I will also summon out Pyramid Turtle! In Attack Mode!"
Pyramid Turtle
ATK: 1200
DEF: 1400
"Next...I'll lay down two face downs and end my turn." said Akarii, "Your turn...Sayer."
"Hmph...very well~" Sayer smirked as he drew his card, "For my first move I will actovate a spell card called Solidarity!" he stated, ""Next I will summon Psychic Commander in Attack mode!"
Psychic Commadner
ATK: 1400
DEF: 800
"Now I will activate a spell card called Psychokinesis!" he stated, "With this card- As long as I have a face up Psychihc type monster on the field- I can destroy one card and take 1000 points of damage." he stated, "And the card I'm gonna choose is that pesky Pyramid Turtle of yours!" he smirked, "Sorry but that effect won't be used against me~" he hummed as Akarii guarded herself while her turtle went up in smoke and she growled.
Sayer: 4000- 3000
Akarii: 4000
"Now I will send Psychic Commander in for the attack on Double Caston!" he declared.
"What? But my monster is stronger!"
"It is for now." said Sayer, "But Psychic commander has a special ability." he stated, "by paying life points, up to 500- I can drop your monster's attack by that mane points times 100!" he grinned.
So by paying 500 life points he dropped her monster's attack from 1700 to 1200, granting his monster to be stronger than hers.
"AHH!" she screamed out as she felt each point being ripped from her body-
Normally losing life points in a duel wouldn't actually hurt- but with Sayer's natural gift...he's able to make sure she feels each point ripped physically away from her...
And it didn't feel good...
Sayer: 3000- 2500
Akarii: 4000- 3800
"I think I'll end my turn with that..." he smirked.
"Fine then..." Akarii panted, "It's my draw!"
Her body acked and trembled in pain...a pain she pushed through to play through this game...
"I'll...place one card face down..." she states, "And end my turn."
"I can see you getting weaker, Akarii..." Sayer smirked as he drew his card, " I'm gonna summon out Genetic Woman!" Sayer stated.
Genetic Woman
ATK 1700
DEF: 1200
"No you won't!" Akarii huffed.
He's gonna try to Synchro Summon...
She thought to herself.
I Can't allow it to come to pass!
"I activate the trap card! Bottomless Trap Hole!" she stated, " With its effect to destroy a summoned monster with 1500 or more attack- that means your Genetic Woman is no more!"
Sayer growled as he watched his monster go to the grave.
"Fine then!" he huffed, "I'll just come for your life points directly!" he grinned as Akarii screamed in pain, feeling all 1400 points rip away from her physical being, dropping her to her knees.
Sayer: 2500
Akarii: 3800- 2400
"Hmph...I think I'll end it there...after all~ It's not as though you will last that much longer anyway." he smirked.
Sayer is right...
Akarii thought to herself, panting.
Her vision was already starting to fade in and out with the pain.
If I don't turn this around soon...
I may not even make it to the end of this Duel!
She huffed and drew her card, smirking.
Excellent...this will definitely help me...
"I call upon the magic of Call of The Mummy!" she panted, "With its abiliy...I can now special summon-Red Eyes Zombie Dragon!"
"What!?"
Sayer gasped as he watched Akarii's impressively grotesque, undead beas rise crawl up from the depths of Hell onto the field.
Red Eyes Zombie Dragon
ATK: 2400
DEF: 2000
"And that's not all either..." she panted out, "I'm also going to activate this Trap card, Coffin Seller!" she declared, "With it- each time a monster of yours is sent to your graveyard...you will also take an additional hit of 300 life points!" she states, "Now...Zombie Dragon..." she pants, "Attack his Psychic Commander!"
"AURGH!" Sayer huffed as Akarii's dragon made quick work of his monster.
Sayer: 2500- 1500
Akarii: 2400
"And don't forget the additional effect of my Coffin Seller!" she stated.
He grunts and growls, having to pay an additional 300 points.
Sayer: 1500- 1200
Akarii: 2400.
That's it...easy does it, Akarii...
She pants to herself.
I just gotta stay strong just a little while longer...
And WIN this duel!
"That will be all for now..." she pants.
"Insolent Brat!" Sayer huffs as he draws from his deck, "I activate a spell card- Teleport!" he declared, "With this card, once per turn if you control monsters while I don't- I can pay 800 life points to special summon one Psychic Type monster from my hand!" he declared.
Sayer: 1500- 700
Akarii: 2400
"And with it's effect I will special summon Storm Caller!" he declared, "And since you sent my Psychic Commander to the gravem the effect of Solidarity kicks in! As long as I have only one type of monster in my graveyard, each monster on my field of the same type gains and additional 800 points i attack!" he stated.
Storm Caller
ATK 2300- 3100
DEF: 2000
"And since this is a Special Summon...I have a Normal Summon as well!" he states, " And I'll bring out Psychic Jumper!" he declared.
Psychic Jumper
ATK 100- 900
DEFL 1500
"Now...let the battle commence!" Sayer sneered as His Storm Caller did battle with Akarii's Dragon...
Ripping away 700 more life points from her.
She screamed as the points fell.
Sayer: 700
Akarii: 2400- 1700
"And brace yourself bitch- because my Jumper has some damage to deal too!" he grinned.
"AHHHHH!"
Sayer: 700
Akarii: 1700- 800
Sayer smirked.
"Now then...since the damage has been done...why not take this time to Synchro Summon a beast to the field that I can use to end you in the next turn!" he hummed as his monsters tuned together to bring out an all new beast-
"Thought Ruler Archfiend!" Sayer beamed as his beast took to the field...
"A...powerful beast...Sayer..." Akarii panted weakly, "But don't forget...my Coffin Seller is still in effect." she grunts, "Your monsters have been sent to the grave yard...which means you pay a 300 life point toll..."
Sayer growled.
Sayer: 700- 400
Akarii: 800
Thought Ruler Archfiend
ATK: 2700- 3500
DEF: 2300
"Hmph...Oh well...it still won't matter..." Sayer stated, "I'll end my turn for now..." said Sayer, "Mean while Akarii...I hope you have your affairs in order...because this? Is ALL over!"
...He's right...
Akarii thought to herself as her trembling hands held her cards weakly.
If I don't find a way to take Victory soon...it's all over...
"I...activate a...spell card..." Akarii panted, "...Book Of Life..." she stated weakly, "With it...I can bring back my Red Eyes Zombie Dragon..." she pants, "And remove your Storm Caller from your grave!" she states.
However...Sayer's beast was still slightly more powerful than her own...
She needed to take precautions...
"I'll place...one card face down..." she says weakly..."And end my turn."
"Count your stars, Akarii Rhodes..." Sayer says wickedly as he draws his card, "Because this is the end!"
"...You're right, Sayer..." she said softly...it IS the end...for you..." she pants.
"Poor child." Sayer smirks, "You're delusional."
"Or maybe I'm not..." She smirks.
"That's what you think, huh?" Sayer smirked, "Fine then...just to make sure you can't do anything with your one defending monster...I will activate a spell card... Tribute To the Doomed!" he stated, " by discarding one card- I can destroy your Dragon once and for all!" he declared, and Akarii gasped, holding up her arms to defend herself while her beast went up in smoke.
"There...now nothing is in my way..." he grins, "Attack!"
Akarii smirked and suddenly...she began laughing.
"Hmph...what's so funny you little wretch!?" Sayer growled.
"Thank you, Sayer." she said softly,"That was exactly what I needed to to ensure my victory..."
"What!?" said Sayer, "What do you mean- You have no monsters, and few life points, this attack will end you!"
"Normally it would." she stated, "Except your attack isn't even gonna go through...because I'm activating a trap card." she said, "It's called Cemetary Bomb!" she declared, " And by activating it...I can deal 100 points of damage to you...for every single card in your graveyard!"
"What!? Cards in my grave!?" he gasped, "But with that discard...that makes..."
"Four." Akarii smirked, "Which means 400 points of direct damage onto you!" she grinned.
"400 points?" Sayer stammered, "B-But...that's all I have left..."
"Indeed it is..." said Akarii, "Which mean that this Duel...is over..." she smirked, "And I win!"
"N-No...this can't be...No...NOOOOO!"
Sayer: 400- 0
Akarii: 800
Sayer cried out as the remainder of his life points dropped to zero thanks to Akarii's trap card...granting her the Victory she needed...just by a hair.
"AURGH...you BITCH!" Sayer huffed, "I can't believe you have this much power..." he grumbled, "Fine then...you leave me no choice..." he mumbled, "Violence is not my policy...but..."
He holds up a spell card...
It was Honitama.
"Take This!" he declared as a bright light shone from the card and balls of fire began to rain down around them.
"Oh Shit!" Akarii's amber eyes wide and began to glow, unbeknownst to her- Like the fire that rained all around them.
She held her arms up to defend herself against the fallen embers when suddenly a warm bright light began to glow around her.
"What in the hell!?" Sayer Panicked...and suddenly he screamed.
It seemed his own attack was deflected against him and the light around Akarii emenated even brighter still...
Confused on where it was coming from she looked around her...only to take note of the now glowing mark that was burning into her arm...
This mark...
she thought to herself.
Could it be...that this is what saved me?
Sayer was out cold, burned in various places on his body thanks to his own attack and Akarii began to panic inside.
I need to find Yusei...
She thought to herself.
And we need to get out of this place, as soon as possible!
