Akarii hurried through the halls.
With Sayer currently out of commission, it seemed that all the victims he had originally brainwashed were slowly getting back into their senses.
Some even had the sense enough to flee and make their escape from this horrible dark and evil place.
Yusei...Where are you!?
She was beginning to panic...having been unable to find either of her friends anywhere. It wasn't until had made it the the balcony she has used before to escape this place that a familiar face finally came into her view...
"Who are you!?"
She heard a femal's voice speak and began to panic, quickly ducking to hide to prepare for a fight- as she thought it was directed towards her...
Only to find that it wasn't...and that it had actually come from beneath her...
"Akiza?" she spoke her name softly under her breath as she peeked down below to find her friend's familiar face.
But she was talking to someone else...
"You're...Misty Tredwell!?"
Misty Tredwell!?
Akarii blinked as she tried to think back on where she heard that name before...
Isn't she a model?
She blinked.
What on earth is she doing in the Arcadia Movement?
And...what does she want with Akiza?
"I'm honored that you know who I am..." said Misty in a low spoken and cold tone, "I also happen to know a lot about you too." she scoffs, "Akiza Izinski...the Black Rose Witch."
What?
Akarii blinked
...Black Rose Witch?
"I will have my revenge now." said Misty.
Revenge!?
Akarii wondered.
Whatever for!?
Her eyes gazed over to her once friend now gone rogue...
Akiza...what did you do...?
"What? Revenge?" Akiza blinked, "What are you talking about? What did I ever do to you!?"
"Never you mind that." Misty scoffed, "I don't expect you to comprehend...or remember." she said sadly, "No matter what happens...my little brother will never come back to me..."
Come back to?
Akarii blinked and her eyes narrowed sadly.
I see...Misty...So...you lost your brother too?
Akarii felt her heart constrict...
Feeling a sort of kindred connection to Misty in her sentiment of mourning the loss of her brother.
He must have been really precious to you, Misty...
Just like Kai was to me...
"Still...you can atleast apologize to my little brother...when you meet him in the afterlife!"
"What...what are you-"
"No need to worry-" said Misty, "You will make amends for your your crime!"
"Akiza NO!" Akarii cried out, grasping the attention of the two weomen below-
There wasn't any time to waste.
Akarii climbed up over the railing...and let herself fall freely to the floor between them.

Sayer grunted and groaned as he came to from his unconscious state.
"What in the hell happened..." he mumbled as he ran his faingers through his hair, "How could that brat have such power...?" he scoffed, "Perhaps I may have been a little too linient with my research subject...he smirked, "I won't make that mistake again..."
"...You're not too smart, are you, Sayer?"
A voice startled him from behind and his eyes went wide when they rested on none other than Carly Carmine...
Atleast...it looked like her...
"You again!?" he scoffed, "There's no way...Didn't I just end you with my own two hands!?"
"I have been reborn..." she said coldly, "...In order to seal your death...!"

"Akarii!" Akiza gasped, shocked and stunned at the girl's bold and daring move..."What are you a fool-!?" she huffed, "Are you trying to take your own life!?"
"I wouldn't worry so much about your foolish friend's life." said Misty, "Infact, I would worry more about yours...!"
"Mine!?" Akiza gasps, "Do you mean to tell me that you aim to take my life, Misty!?"
"Indeed!" she huffed, "All for the pain you've caused during each of your duels-" she stated, "You have destroyed things over and over again! You didn't even care that my little brother perished!"
"What!?" Akiza blinked, "But I don't even know who your little brother is!"
"Precisely my point..." Misty scoffed, "My brother means nothing to you...just another one of your nameless victims!"
"But...I don't know anything about it..." Akiza said softly, "I never knew your brother..."
"You may have no memory of him at all..." said Misty, "But for me? He was a precious person who can never be replaced!" she stated, "All you do is cause destruction and pain. Truly a witch..."
"That's enough, Misty!" said Akarii, Standing between the two with her arms out spread in defense of Akiza.
"Akarii...what are you doing?" Akiza asked in her confusion, "Why do you even care about me!? You are a traitor!"
"You're wrong, Kiki!" Akarii stated, "Please...just give me a chance to talk-"
"I wouldn't bother." Misty scoffed, "She wouldn't listen anyway. She's far to self absorbed."
"That's not true!" Akarii stated, "Akiza is my friend- And I'm certain that whatever happened- it wasn't her fault!" she stated, "Misty, please listen to me..." she stated, "You may not know who I am, but I know what it feels like to lose a brother!"
"Akarii..." Akiza whispered her name softly.
"It hurts...and it becomes a hole in your heart...one that can never be filled by anything...not even revenge." she states," Believe me...I understand." she said, "Part of me wishes I could bring destruction to those who took my brother from me too- he was my only family...and my best friend...a precious person who can be replaced by no one and nothing!" she sighs, "But I also know...that even if I DID get vegeance for what was wrongfully done to him...it wouldn't change anything..." she said with a broken voice, "It won't bring Kai back...and besides...I know Kai- my brother- wouldn't want me to have such an existance..." she stated, "A existance cold...and empty..." her eyes move up to meet Misty's, "And I have a feeling, that if your brother is anything like mine...if he is as kind and as good as you built him up to be...then he wouldn't want you to do this! Not like this! Not this way!"
Misty held her gaze a while, lingering on a long silence...her eyes narrowing sadly.
"Did you say...Kai?" she blinked curiously, "Kai Rhodes?"
Akarii's eyes gradually widened.
"Kai Rhodes...yes..." she said softly, "That's my older brother's name...Misty...did you...know him?"
But before an answer could be given... The building shook. An Earth shattering cry screeched out bringing about a rumbling and the scattering pieces of a crumbling building.
"What just happened!?" Akiza gasped, "What's going on!?"
"AAAUUUUGH!"
Sayer's scream could be heard amidts the rumble and crumbling pieces...followed by his his body...falling into the depths of his demise.
"SAYER!" Akiza cried his name and even Akarii was shaken by the scene.
What just...happened...?
She blinks, trying to maintain her balnce on the building that was falling to pieces-
What's going on!?
"So the end has already begun..." said Misty, "Much sooner than expected..." she blinks and returns her gaze to Akiza and Akarii, who were both hung over the rails, looking down in horror at Sayer's body below.
"It seems we will have to postpone our duel for a later time."
But Akiza didn't listen...she was stricken...with pain, anguish, and horror...
"Akiza..." Akarii tried to reach out for her friend, but she had no idea how she could at all console her...her eyes shifted over to Misty...who was swalking away.
"Misty Wait!" Akarii called out to her, "My brother- What do you know about him! MISTY!"
She stops for a moment and glances back to Akarii.
"...Worry not, Akarii Rhodes..." she said softly, "...You will see your dear older brother again, soon enough..."
And with that...she continued to walk into shadows...and was gone...
