Prologue 2

3 Years Later

In the middle of the night at the Museum of Natural History, a black male night shift security guard, who had two boxes of one of New York's finest signature pizzas, entered the camera surveillance and security room after clocking in and greeted his coworker.

"Hey, man, I got the pizzas." the black security guard spoke when setting the boxes down.

"Oh, good. I am starving." said the white male security guard.

The black security guard took a seat in the empty chair and took a good look at each screen of the cameras. The white security guard took a few bites of his cheese pizza in happiness before remembering something.

"Ah, shit." He said.

"What?." The black security guard asked his friend.

The white security guard got up before picking up his hat and walkie-talkie. "Forgot to do my look around run first. Be back."

The black security guard nodded and waved him off before resuming to look at the screens of each place of the museum. So far there is no activity since the museum is closed from the public until opening night of its official new exhibit. The man got bored when seeing that nothing was going to happen tonight as he went to turn on the built-in tv that is on the control board. A good Marvel movie is being played when turning the tv on. He watched Deadpool to his amusement until it went into commercials. A few of them were the same ones he saw at his apartment and did not have any interest in them. That is until the last one popped up.

The commercial itself started out with playing a spooky tune for a few seconds until it showed a black male of the age 17 with a shape up mustache, wearing a black and gray jumpsuit.

"Are you troubled by strange noises in the middle of the night?." He asked.

Then the screen switched to a 17 year old black curly hair female with glasses, who was wearing a normal jumpsuit, had a flashlight pointing up in both hands and then turned it on to shoot the light under her to make things very spooky to the potential consumers.

"Do you experience feelings of dread in your basement or attic?." She asked.

Next, the screen turned over to a 17 year old Asian American male with a goatee and wearing a jumpsuit as well, who was pointing with a serious look. "Have you or any of your family have ever seen a spook, specter or ghost?."

The screen returned back to the black as he spoke proudly. "If the answer is yes, then please don't hesitate in picking up the phone and calling up the highly trained and experienced professionals. Call the…"

The screen showed all three as they all said together. "Ghostbusters!."

"Hmph, the original Ghostbusters commercials were a lot better than the new ad in my opinion." said the security guard, who is still eyeing the screen.

Little did the man know that one of the cameras had spotted something floating past. Something that looked tall in a greenish aura. Then another similar thing that had a reddish aura was floating past the volcano exhibit. Back on the tv screen it showed a black female who had a friendly smile on her face along with three others who assumed to be the staff.

"Our friendly and greeting staff are always ready around the clock to answer your calls and write down informative locations to the urgency of your ghostbusting needs. Also, our availability is on weekdays. We are always closed on weekdays and all holidays, but will return your calls soon after." She spoke with a smile.

The screen focused back to three young adults.

"So, what are you waiting for?." The Asian American male asked with a smirk.

"Pick up that phone and dial that number below." The female worker spoke.

"Come on, what do you guys have to lose?." said the black male.

All three spoke and put on happy and warming smiles before pointing at the screen. "Ghostbusters!. We're ready to believe you!."

Finally, the screen shows two more people in jumpsuits. One male, who slid down the pole, as the other one is a black female who put her folder down.

"And if you desire to be part of the Ghostbusting family, then do not hesitate in filling out a franchise application." the white male spoke with a smile.

"Some qualifications and giving questions are required to determine your franchise approval." the black female spoke.

The security guard took the moment to glance at one of the camera screens and saw both the reddish and greenish floating figures in the Egyptian exhibit. This shook him up and felt that they had noticed them at that moment when the greenish aura figure summoned a greenish glowing spear and threw it at the camera. When the spear collided with the camera it not only caused the fuzzing on the screen, but it also sent massive shock waves to the security room and caused the control systems to spark like crazy.

"Yo!." The security guard spun around in his chair in utter scare once seeing sparks flying. He then quickly pulled his walkie-talkie and radioed his friend. "Hey, Jones?!. Jones?!."

Somewhere in the hallway the man named Jones quickly pulled his walkie-talkie up from its holster and radio back. "Yeah, Dave?. What is up?."

"What is your position?." Dave asked.

Jones pointed his flashlight to see the sign on the edge of the wall. "I'm in the Z hallway."

"Are you by or in that new exhibit?." Dave asked in utter scare.

"The Tiamat Exhibit?." Jones turned and looked at the banner and pointed his flashlight to read exactly what he thought he was in. "Yeah, I am in the Tiamat exhibit. Why?."

"Shit, because there are two unknown figures heading your way, man." informed Dave.

"Hmm, weird, no one should be here except for us. It's probably because some of the employees have set up an early Halloween prank. I will check it out. Stand by." said Jones, making his way through the huge exhibit.

When walking down to the walk down ramp and taking in sight of all the ancient Summerian artifacts that were donated to the museum, Dave had picked the time to share information concerning the new permanent exhibit.

"Man, I had an uneasy feeling as soon as they built that exhibit." Dave began. "I did my research and found out that all the things that were donated to the exhibit are by the Shandor estate."

"The Shandor estate?. What holds it right there, now I may not know my history like you, but I know full well that Ivo Shandor was a worshiper for Gozer. Not for Tiamat." said Jones, passing by some strange large wood carved tiki tha was in a glass case, whose eyes and mouth glowed red with fog smoke to his unnoticing.

"It is a different Shandor. His sister. Lara Shandor. Like her older brother, she was into the occult. The big difference is the type of Summerian Gods. She worships the master of chaos. And the brother worships the destructor. And fun facts about Gozer and Tiamat. They are…" Dave was stopped when hearing his friend make a light scream.

Jones was startled by a deep realistic detail display of people with the black plague. "Dude, let's talk about this some other time. Like in the daytime."

Jones walked a bit down before hearing a few noises of whispering. He pointed his flashlight to see a group of floating unhuman purple figures that were standing there until they started to move. "Are those ghosts?."

Suddenly he heard growling noises before daring himself to look. There in front of him were the same two figures that Dave saw on the camera. Jones did not hesitate in running away from the two figures as they followed him. He ducked from a few of the purple ghosts that were trying to scare the shit at him when making his way. He ran and ran a good distance away and tried to reach back to the main lobby. With luck, he got into the elevator and relaxed when the double doors closed. Pressing the button that would take him to the idea floor that would lead him to the lobby.

Jones pulled his walkie-talkie back and pressed the button. "Dave?. Come in, Dave?. Dave?. Dave?."

In response he only had heavy static to his anxiety and stress. The elevator stopped and then open to his horror is seeing another ghost that is rumored to haunt this museum floating towards him at such speed.

"No!. Nooooo!." Jones screamed when shielding himself.

At that exact moment a burst of red ecto energy scattered all through the whole New York City. Including the Ghostbusters firehouse. Upstairs relaxing after a long night of busting, everyone felt the shake and saw the quick energy pulse.

"Weird?." Eddy put his current object of work down and picked up his PKE to have a reading. "That looked like a class level 7 or more."

"Hehehe. That is a sign, Eddy." Nameless spoke inside the jar that is bonded to the binding relic. "The day of reckoning is upon you all."

Eddy frowned when putting the PKE down and looked at his personal guinea pig. "Shut it or you get the electric PKE juice. I am not bluffing."

"I think I strike a nerve in you." said Nameless, laughing.

Eddy shook his head while resuming his work before going to bed and then resumed doing it in the morning. "Damn, I really hate your annoying, irritating ass for three fucking years staright."
