"So, why can't I locate her?" I ask my brother.

"Davina will know you used your magic, which means Marcel will know we are locating Hayley." Elijah explains.

"And that is a problem because...?" I question.

"We do not know whether or not Marcel has Hayley in the first place."

"He came here last night, and Hayley suddenly disappears the same night. It doesn't take much common sense to put two and two together."

"Marcel may not be our most trusted ally, but he wouldn't just take Hayley if it meant going against us. He's many things, but not a fool."

"He has already deceived us many times. I think you are giving him too much credit." I complain, but Elijah still seems unbothered.

"And I believe you are being too rash." This conversation is going in circles, and I am starting to get frustrated. So, I turn my attention to the other person in the room.

"I am surprised you have not said a word this entire time. I would assume you would be a little pissed of as that is your child after all." I look at Niklaus.

Niklaus looks up to me from his chair, and gives me a smile. "Oh, I am furious. But, I got most of my anger out last night."

I squint my eyes at him. "Last night? What are you.." I come to a realization. Elijah would be going on a rampage if he truly believed Marcel had some part in this. After the events of last night, he would have definitely killed some of Marcel's men if he had any suspicion of them having Hayley.

But he had zero. As if he knows Marcel does not have Hayley.

"You went to see him last night." I say irritated.

"Ding ding ding." Niklaus states obnoxiously. He gets up from his seat, "While you were sleeping, we went to have a nice friendly chat with Marcel. Some of us actually care about the wellbeing of my child and don't put it off until tomorrow."

I glare at him. "Maybe your child wouldn't be in danger if you knew how to take care of it. I guess bad parenting runs in the family genes."

Niklaus comes speeding at me angrily, but Elijah steps in front of him before he gets the chance to reach me. I smile at him, while Nik's eyebrows furrow in anger.

"Enough, the both of you." Elijah states in a calm manner. I shrug my shoulders as I have not moved a step, and have only been firing shots back. I may not start the arguments but I sure will finish them.

I look away from Niklaus now, and back to Elijah, "Mind telling me why you couldn't have told me this earlier?

"Well, for one." Elijah heads to the coat closet, and I follow behind him. "You did fall asleep while we were in search for Hayley, and I wanted you to feel some sense of stress."

Niklaus laughs behind me, and I cross my arms. "I hate the both of you."

"And two..." Elijah begins to put on his coat, then turns around to face me. "Because I was stalling to figure out a way to tell you we are working with Marcel."

"Oh, and let me guess, this was Nik's stupid plan?" I question irritated, and I feel an arm wrap around my shoulder.

"Well sister, unless you want Marcel stooping into our business with Hayley, and my child, I suggest this is our best plan." Niklaus says, and I push him off me.

"And I agree." Elijah mentions, and I roll my eyes. "Marcel does not know who Hayley is, and I would like to keep it that way. If you locate her behind Marcel's back, he will look deeper into it and eventually find out about the baby."

"Which means the only way of protecting my heir from trouble is teaming with Marcel." Niklaus walks over to Elijah, and stands next to him with a smirk, but I get even more annoyed. 'Heir'. Father of the year folks.

I look between my brothers frustrated, and getting a hinting feeling why Rebekah left, again. It's truly unbelievable how much Elijah goes through to see this redemption in Nik. I am getting a migraine just by this stupid conversation. Why team with Marcel...of all people.

sigh*

But the main focus is Hayley and the baby. So if it means teaming up with miniature Klaus, so be it.

Niklaus, Elijah, and I are all seated in the quarter, waiting for Marcel. This is the first time I've actually came back, since we left. I've tried my absolute best to avoid it, and yet, here I am.

Marcel had definitely changed things up, which is the one thing I don't mind. It takes away some of the memories I don't want to remember.

But other than the decor, this place is also just filled with the supernatural. Mostly vampires...actually all vampires besides me.

"This is ridiculous. It feels like we are in a vampire infested sauna." I take a drink from one of the many drinks placed on the small table. "I'm surrounded by nuances."

"Sister, please, at least say something polite...like unattractive." Elijah says and I chuckle. Sometimes I forget Elijah can have a sense of humor.

"You two do realize they can hear you." Nik remarks.

"I would hope so, or Marcel then gathered a group of useless vampires." I state.

"Ah, don't come at my guys like that." Marcel walks into the room, with two vampires following behind him.

"Speak of the devil." I take a big take from my drink, practically finishing the glass.

Marcel faces me with that grand smile he carries everywhere. "You know, I kind of forgot you were even here."

"Then looks like I have been doing a good job." I say with a fake smile.

"Or maybe Marcel's deception has gotten tremendously low." Elijah highlights and I laugh. Marcel then turns his attention to Elijah.

"I liked you better in that box." Marcel states, and I see a small smile on Elijah's face. "Klaus, my sire, I owe the world, and I always show respect to my elders."

"You sure about that?" I question and Marcel looks back at me.

"I am letting you do a locator spell, am I not? Davina will not bother you, or the spell." Marcel states with a grin. He then starts to walk away from us.

"Where are you going?" Niklaus questions, and Marcel stops. He turns to face us again.

"I hate to cut this short, but the sun is coming up soon, and I need to get my night walkers inside, and I have a city to run." Marcel answers. I can see the look of suspicion on Nik's face, as Marcel walks out of the room.

As he walks out, those two vampires following him into the room, leave with him as well. Some other vampires start to leave the quarter with him as well.

"Alright sister, get to work." Niklaus demands.

I located Hayley in the bayou. Which is not exactly weird, since she is a wolf. Maybe we got this whole situation wrong, and she willingly left by herself. I mean, after Rebekah dipped, I could understand if she found living with my brothers overwhelming. Especially, Nik.

I get out of the car, and can immediately tell I am going to hate it here. It stinks of werewolves, and I never really been a fan of them. It's not that I hate them, but since they are technically the whole reason why we are immortal in the first place, it irks me how we could of had a semi normal life if it wasn't for these werewolves.

"Have you sensed Hayley yet?" I ask Nik. He walks away from the car, to Elijah. Who I hadn't even realize started to walk, and I quickly follow behind the two.

"Not yet, but it seems like Elijah here is quite determined to find her." Niklaus states.

"If I'm moving too fast for you Niklaus, you're welcomed to wait in the car." Elijah states and I start to get irritated already. "You'll be certain to leave the windows down."

"Ah, so it seems like I touched a nerve. You admire this girl." Niklaus claims, and Elijah finally stops walking. "That's why you been in such control since your return. Hoping to impress Hayley by assuming the role of family patriarch." I look at my brother curiously, then turn to face Elijah.

"Wait, you're into Hayley?" I question, and Elijah turns to face me, but stays quiet. I can tell that Niklaus is irritated, but not for jealously reasons, thank god. I cannot deal with two brothers fighting over a girl, again.

He seems more upset about the fact Elijah is trying to take his fatherly role, which is quite interesting.

"If you mean to treat her like a walking incubator, Niklaus, then that's your mistake." Elijah says, as he ignores my question. Hmm, very interesting indeed. I notice Niklaus does not have a comeback and I look at him. He's looking around the woods curiously.

"You found her scent?" Elijah questions, but I can tell by Nik's face he is not pleased.

"No," I state, and they both turn to face me. "You found someone else's."

"Right again, sister." Niklaus says unpleased. "Come on."

He then starts walking, and Elijah and I follow him. He looks us away from the woods and back to the road. We see this blue truck, and Niklaus starts walking angrily to it.

He goes to open the driver's seat, and Elijah and I look at each other confused.

"This car," Nik starts smelling clothing items in the car, then throws them back at Elijah. "Reeks of someone I thought I was riding of..." He slams the door then turns to face us. "Tyler Lockwood."

"Wait, your little hybrid sidekick?" Elijah asks.

"Why is Tyler here?" I question, crossing my arms. "I mean I get he was pissed off you basically turned him into your servant...but to kidnap Hayley?"

"He wants revenge because I went after his girl." Niklaus claims and I shake my head no.

"I met the boy, and he did not care about Caroline that much. Especially to go after your child...you did something else." I state, and Nik tilts his head at me. "What did you do, Nik."

He starts walking away from the car, then stops. He then turns to face us. "Back when I had the means to sire hybrids, he was my first. But you already know that sister, you were there."

"Yeah, then he realized he was under your control, somehow got out of that control, and bested you by stopping your heart with the help of the Salvatore brothers. I remember it all."

Niklaus grins at me, "Well what you don't know is what happened after you skipped town with Kol." I look at him interested. "He got bold, started to define me. Managed to turn my hybrids against me...so I killed the lot of them. I couldn't have my own creatures turn against me, and when I went after Tyler, he ran...like a coward."

"Anything else...you would like to share?" Elijah questions seriously, taking a step forward.

"Well...there was this business with his mom..." Niklaus mentions, and then it clicks.

"You killed Carol Lockwood?" I question, and Niklaus grins at me. I remember there being a story about her getting drunk and drowning, but this makes much more sense.

"Well, that's just splendid..." Elijah states irritatedly and I agree.

"He needed to be taught a lesson." Niklaus defends himself, and I walk closer to the two of them.

"What good are your lessons if he retaliates against Hayley?" Elijah questions.

"So, you do care about her! Oh, so go on then, have it brother, save her, claims what spoils you can. I sampled what she has to offer, and let me tell you, she is exquisite."

"Niklaus, so help me-"

"Both of you, shut up!" I scream and they both look down at me annoyed. "This is not about just saving Hayley, Nik. Or have you forgotten already about your child. And Elijah, Hayley here, is not the center of our attention. If Tyler is here, it means he knows about the child and that is bad. Tyler may not be a threat but he sure does not know how to keep his mouth shut. So please, can we be civil for a day?"

I see a look of agreement between my brothers, then they both look at me again. "Alright sister, we will be civil." Elijah states, and I look at Nik for his answer.

Niklaus looks at me with a small grin, "I'll behave."

"Not the most convincing answer, but I'll take it. Let's go." I start to walk, but then I hear a ring. I take out out my phone, and see it's a call from Davina.

"Ah look, it's your witch buddy." Niklaus mocks and I ignore him.

"Hello?"

"Hey, are you busy right now?" Davina questions and I turn to face my brothers, who are waiting idly by.

"Yeah, kind of. My brothers and I are looking for someone."

"Yeah, Marcel told me, but I really need your help. And you said you would help me control my magic better."

"I know, but can we please try later? You seemed to be getting the hang of it."

Davina sighs in the phone. "You know...it would be a shame for Marcel to find out about you helping me. He would try to look into your family situation more, and I bet there are some secrets you want to keep from him."

"Are you threatening me?" I question, and hear Niklaus laughing behind me.

"No...more like manipulating." Davina states. "Please. I really need your help."

I turn back to look at my brothers, and they are not exactly on friendly terms. But I did make a promise to Davina. And besides, we are dealing with Tyler here. They will be fine.

"Alright, I'll be there in ten minutes." I state, and both of my brother's faces are surprised.

"Yes! Thank you." Davina states, then hangs up the phone. I look at my brothers with an innocent smile.

"So...can I get the keys?" I question.

"And when did we say it was okay for you to leave? What happened to 'finding my child is the most important thing?'" Niklaus questions.

"Again, not my fault your child is missing because of you." I state, then look at Elijah. "And I made this promise to teach Davina, because of you. I did my part in locating her, you two should be fine."

Niklaus still does not want to budge, but I think I got to Elijah. He vamp speeds to grab the keys from Niklaus, then throws them to me.

"Thank you!" I say, as I catch them and Niklaus looks at us with his mouth open, a little mad.

"Be safe." Elijah states and I nod. I start to walk away from them. Let's hope that they do not try to kill each other while I'm gone. I never know with these two.

I shortly arrive at the church, and come through a back entrance Davina told me about. It helps that Marcel, nor his little minions, see me when I enter the church. After seeing that no one is here, including the priest, I walk upstairs to Davina's room.

"Kalle, you're here." Davina states, but my eyes shift to the boy behind her.

"Um...who is that?" I ask.

"A vampire who needs to be helped." Davina states, and I raise my eyebrows. "Your brother compelled him and I need to un...compel him."

"Ah." I walk into the room towards Davina, and look at the boy seated on the chair. "What did my brother compel him to do exactly?"

"Apparently, he is spying on Marcel. Telling him all Marcel's dirty secrets."

"And Marcel wants you to undo it." I turn to look at her and Davina nods. "If you are busy with him, why do you need me?"

"Because her way of trying to break this compulsion is really really painful." The boy says exhausted.

"I've been trying to break the compulsion without putting him in tremendous pain but I can't. And I wasn't sure if it was because of my control or simply because..."

"Yeah... breaking a compulsion by an original is not exactly easy." I state.

"I know this is a conflict of interest but I really need your help."Davina states, and I look at her curiously.

"Why would this be a conflict of interest?" I ask and Davina squints her eyes at me.

"Because this is the doing of your brother...?" Davina states. I smile at her.

"I mean I guess under certain circumstances yes, but if his role is to only get dirt on Marcel, that is of no interest of me. As now that I think of it... I believe my brother compelled..." I look at the boy. "I'm sorry, I don't believe I got your name.

"Josh."

"I believe my brother compelled, Josh, so we could figure out where Elijah is. But, we now have our brother so he is of no use. At least not to the rest of my family."

"Huh, I don't know whether to be offended or relieved." Josh states in a hurt tone, and I look at him with a small grin.

"So, Josh, there are two ways we can do this. The hard way...or the harder way." I explain, seeing a faint pale color appear on Josh's face.

Davina hits my shoulder, and I faced her irritated. "You said you would help."

"I am helping. There is no simple way to get rid of an original's compulsion."

"It's fine, I will do whatever does not have to do with magic." Josh states.

"No magic?" I question and he violently shakes his head. "Josh, you are aware of the only other way to break a compulsion right? Draining the body."

"Draining the bod-" He then looks down at the floor, and looks like he is thinking about something. Then a flash of terror comes on his face and he looks back at us. "Do magic!! Anything but sticking a stake into me!"

"Wise choice." I say with a smile, and Davina nods. I walk to the bedroom door a close it, to mask the screams that will last for the rest of the day.
