Before we start I would like to tell you that some Pokedex entries will be saved for later in the story or not be in at all. After all, Pokedex entries are to inform the people about Pokemon, unless they don't know or forgot about them, then what would be the point in having Allen and Drake say it again. And I had some trouble at work, pulse School started again.

Now let's get this story started with Chapter 1.

Chapter 1

Echoes of Thunder and Fire

The Castle In Katolis

It's been almost a month since Allen and Drake arrived in Katolis and things have been great. With their help the people of Katolis have accepted Pokemon into their lives. But they still have some problems to work through. One is that most of the soldiers still don't trust Pokemon and want them gone. The other is that all but one of the other kingdoms are having trust issues with the Pokemon. The only other kingdom that has accepted Pokemon is the Kingdom of Duren roled by Queen Aanya.

Allen and Drake meet Queen Aanya in person. Though things started a little rocky with Queen Aanya. The three of them soon became friends. And then Allen and Drake help Queen Aanya find the perfect Pokemon partner for her. With their Queen having a Pokemon partner, the people of Duren started to accept Pokemon and unlike Katolis, the soldiers of Duren trusted the Pokemon and worked with them.

Over all Allen and Drake have gotten used to their new life. They have also become close friends of the pinces. With Drake being closer to Ezran then Callum. And Allen being closer to Callum then Ezran. Now Allen and Drake were asleep in their room with a storm raging outside. When a big yellow lizard with a teal belly and teal spots on its body and blue eyes walked into their room. The lizard then climbed into Drake's bed and snuggled into Drake's chest. The lizard then went to sleep and then started to glow.

This woke Drake up. "Bait again." Drake said to the lizard waking Allen and the lizard up. "Not again this is the third time this week. I still don't know why he does this." Allen said to Drake as he put his pillow over his head. "I don't know either, but I'll take him back to Ezran's room." Drake said as he got up and left with Bait in his hands.

Soon Drake made it to Ezran's room and noticed Rockruff cuddling in the bed with Ezran. "Got forced out of bed again didn't you." Drake said to Bait, who just groaned. "Ok well you have to stay here, we can't sleep with you glowing all night." Drake said to Bait as he put Bait on the bed. "Now stay and you two can countune your battle in the morning, good night." Drake said as he left Ezran's room.

Bait and Rockruff had a little bit of a rivalry going on, and the two of them have been going at it for a while, each trying to be Ezran favorite. Lucky it hasn't been anything violent. It has mostly been races to the bed or who can eat the most food. Their rivaily isn't normally a problem. But sometimes it can get Drake involved. Which everyone thinks is weird.

As he left he noticed Callum wake in the room next to Ezran drawing with Yamma asleep next to his bed. "Take that, Marshmallow monster." Callum said as he finished his drawing, not noticing Drake. Drake then noticed the drawing of a dragon breathing fire at a stick figure that had marshmallows for muscles. "A dragon vs a marshmallow man. I put money on the marshmallow man." Drake said to Callum, as the sound of a bolt of thunder filled the room. Darke and thunder made Callum yell, waking everyone up. "Callum." Ezran asked Callum freaking out a little.

"It's okay, Ezran. It's just Drake and a thunderstorm. Nothing to be afraid of. Wait what are you doing here Drake?" Callum said to everyone. "Bait got into our room again and woke us up again so I was just returning him, when I noticed you drawing. And why are you drawing a Dragon and a marshmallow man?" Drake said to Callum. "Oh I was just, ah the thing is-." Callum said rabling a little at the end. "You know what, never mind, just get some sleep." Drake said to Callum. "But it's almost morning." Callum said to Drake.

"Almost being the keyword. Now get some sleep. After all you don't know what tomorrow could bring." Drake said as he left the room and everyone but Callum went to sleep. "What could tomorrow bring?" Cullam said as he continued to draw.

Meanwhile outside a scout was walking through the woods near the castle when he heard the sound of rushing bushies. "Who's there?" The scout said pointing his crossbow at the direction the sound made. "Declare yourself, in the name of King Harrow!" The scout said to the bushies. Then a bolt of lighting strikes, reveals nine shadow figures, with seven big shadows and two little shadows. The scout then fired the arrow at them, but it missed. Then the guard backed up and tripped, then got up and started to run.

Then one of the big shadows started to go after the scout. But while everyone watched this one of the small shadows started to fly and left followed the shadow out of sight of everyone else. The scout ran as fast as he could, but the shadow was catching up fast jumping from tree to tree. But then the guard tripped, but quickly got up and continued running. The guard ran as fast as he could but the shadow was only a few feet behind him with two white mechanical blades in hand.

The scout knew that he could out run the shadow so he turned around with his crossbow loaded. But the shadow was gone. Next thing the scout knew pushed, and he fell back falling into a mud pit, knocking off his helmet. Then the shadow jumped down and was about to strike when the little shadow came out of nowhere and landed on the scout stopping the attack. Then a bolt of thunder strike revealed the big shadow was a girl and the little shadow was some kind of scorpion that was on two feet, and with wings connected to it's arms and legs.

Then the girl and the scorpion looked at each other. "Please." The scout said to them. "Who are you? What are you?" The Guard said to them. The girl and the scorpion then looked at the guard, and then the girl noticed the look in his eye. "Gligar." The scorpion said to the scout. Then the guard started to crawl away. As he did the girl pulled back her swords and the scorpion got off him. The scout then grabbed his helmet and looked at the girl and the scorpion. "Gligar." The Scorpion said to the scout. The scout then started to run, climbing out of the mud pit and ran towards the castle.

Then the storm started to end and the sun started to rise. The scout ran to Viren's room, where Viren was looking into a decorative mirror. "High Mage! Please, it's urgent!" the scout said to Viren knocking on the door. Viren then covered the mirror and went to the door. "Lord Viren! I've seen something." The scout said to Viren. The scout then explained what he saw. Soon Viren went to Harrow's room. "Lord Viren, uh… King Harrow hasn't risen yet." One of the two guards protecting Harrow's room said to Viren.

But Viren didn't listen, he just went in. Once he got in he opened the curtains, waking Harrow. And his pet bird. Harrow's bird was a parrot-like bird with mostly black feathers and some light green feathers on its head, wings, and tail. "Viren, didn't I tell you if you ever woke me up this early again… I'd have you executed?" Harrow said to Viren, as he got up. "I'll give you a moment." Viren said to Harrow clearing his throat and leaving Harrow, heading to the balcony.

A few minutes later Harrow came out of the balcony with his bird where Biren, where Viren was waiting. "So, what's so important that you come into my bedroom risking your life like this?" Harrow asked Viren. "Assassins." Viren said to Harrow. "I see." Harrow said to Viren. "A scout on patrol discovered them just before dawn." Viren said to Harrow. "Well, don't look so grim. We've fought off plenty of assassins. Haven't we, Pip?" Harrow said to Viren as he petted his bird.

"It's different this time. We believe they're Moonshadow elves." Viren said, making Harrow stop petting Pip. "Moonshadow elves? Then how did the scout escape?" Harrow asked Viren. "I don't know. It was muddy, wet, dark… The scout said that a Pokemon saved him. Somehow he got very lucky." Viren said to Harrow. "The Crown Guard won't be enough to hold them off. Send for General Amaya and the Standing Battalion." Harrow said to Viren.

"The Breach is too far. They'll never make it back in time. What about Allen and Drake can't we use them?" Viren asked Harrow. "If Moonshadow elves are coming then I have something in mind for them. What's tonight's moon?" Harrow asked Viren. "Full." Viren said to Harrow. "Of course it is…" Harrow said, laughing a little.

"With the Moonshadow elves at the height of their power, no defense will stand against them." Viren said to Harrow. Then we won't defend. We will attack. We must find them today in the light of the sun, and stop them before it's too late." Harrow said to Viren. Viren then nodded.

The Forest Near The Castle

Meanwhile in the forest the girl was running back to the other shadows jumping all over the place, with the scorpion flying close behind her. Soon the girl stopped and took off her hood revealing a young female with pale skin, shoulder-length white hair with a braid on the right side of her head, purple eyes with blue, tear-like marks underneath them, black stubby horns and pointed ears that peek out from underneath her hair. She was wearing a dark teal and navy suit secured by a vest, dark brown straps and a dark brown belt embellished with a silver brooch, with some knee-high boots and bracers.

The girl then took out her blades and looked about how they were clear. "Gligar." The scorpion said to the girl. The girl then turn to see the scorpion pink skin, two sharp horns, two fangs sticking out of its mouth, small blue wings connected to its arms and legs with a fang on them, one claw on each of it's small feet, a long tail with a stinger on the end, and two pincers claws at the end of it's arms.

The girl then noticed that the scorpion was holding a branch. And that branch had some red berries on it. The girl then looked at the scorpion for a few seconds. "Good idea Pinky." The girl said to the scorpion as she took the barriers.

Soon the girl and Pinky made their way to a campsite that was deep in the woods. At the campsite five more Shadowmoon elves were working. In the middle of them camp was a tail, muscular, young adult male Moonshadow elf with light purple-tinted skin. With white hair that was braided and reached down to his lower back, his eyes where turquoise colored, his horns went back then up. He had two purple lines on his face, one about his nose and one under his eyes. He was wearing the same thing as the girl. The only difference was that the man had a bow and arrows on his back and a sleeveless jacket.

Then the girl entered in front of the camp, while Pinky flew around back. As the girl walked past the man. The man looked at the blades. "Well done, Rayla." The man said to the girl. "Yeah. I used both of them." Rayla said to the male, showing off her sword. "I can see that." The man said to Rayla, as he tossed her a rag. Ralya then whipped off her blades and then put the rag into her back pocket. Ralya then walked to the back of the camp. "Rayla do you know where Pinky is?" A female voice asked Ralya.

Ralya then looked to see a young female elf walking towards her, but this elf was different from the rest. She had light brown skin, yellow eyes, long blond hair tied into three ponytails, one of them going down her neck, and the other two going to her shoulders, four yellow triangles pointing to each direction over her right eye, and her horns started from the top of her head and went down and around her pointy ears. She was wearing a decorated red dress with a brown cloak on her back. Next to the girl was a plant-like creature with a pink body, red eyes, a red stripe on its body, leaf arms, and a head of greenery.

"Oh Kali shouldn't Pinky be here." Ralya said to the female. "But I can't find Pinky and me and Leaf have looked all over the camp." Kali said to Ralya. "Formantis." The plant said to Kali, pulling on her dress. "What is it Leaf?" Kail asked Leaf. "Formantis." Leaf said pointing to the side of the camp where Pinky was sitting. "Oh there's Pinky." Kali said. "Kali, we brought you along to handle these things. So why are you having trouble handling them?" The man said to Kali. "Oh come on Runaan. They're not so bad." Kali said to the man.

"Yes they are. They have access to more primal sources then any elf and dragon. They have attacked us." Runaan said to Kali. "You know that they're just defending themselves. After all they didn't attack us a single time on the way here." Kali said to Runaan. "Oh right I forgot your part of the White Dragonflight." Runaan said to Kali. "And what does me being a part of the White Dragonflight have to do with thinking that these creatures aren't as dangerous as you say?" Kali asked Runaan.

"Simple, the White Dragonflight are a bunch of cowards that do not see how dangerous and bad the Humans and these creatures are." Runaan said to Kali. "Not all Humans are bad or these creatures aren't dangerous." Kali said to Runaan. "Keep lying if you want, just keep those creatures out of our way for the mission." Runaan said to Kali. "I still think that this mission is too far." Kali said to Runaan. "Too far? Did you forget what that Human did to the Dragon King?" Runaan asked Kali.

"No I haven't, but we have to be better, otherwise we are no more savage than them." Kail said to Runaan. "Enough. Just stay out of our way and keep those creatures under control!" Runaan said to Kali as he stood up. "Fine, but come on what could these creatures do. It's not like they will stop you from killing anyone. Right Rayla?" Kail said to Runaan and asked Rayla. "Right totally. I got to go." Rayla said acting a little awkward before leaving with the scorpion. "That was odd." Kali said to Leaf. "Formatis." Leaf said to Kali nodding its head.

Katolis

In Katolis a middle aged man with brown eyes, grey eyebrows, four uneven beard hairs, wearing a grey pullover, wine red pants that went past his knees, a brown apron, dark brown shoes, and a red beret on his head covering his hair. Was looking into a big oven. The man then sniffed the bread with some jelly in them that he was making. The man then grabbed a big wooden spatula and then pulled the bread out of the oven.

While the man was doing that Ezran, Bait, and Rockruff made their way through an air vent that was on the ground. Bait Croaked at the site of the bread. "Bait, shh." Ezran said as he opened the vent. Then the man left the bread on and Ezran sneaked round to the table that the man left the bread on. "Alcremie." A small creature that's entire body was made out of vanilla whip cream with two strawberries on its head, said to Ezran, stopping him from talking anything.

"Prince Ezran! Alcremie caught you!" The man said to Ezran chuckling menacingly. "I was just… admiring them." Ezran said to the man. "Oh, with your hands?" The man said to Ezran. "Yeah. they look amazing." Ezran said to the man looking at them. "Alcremie." The cream creature said to Ezran. "Well, they are amazing, even more amazing if you let Alcremie finish her work on them, now leave her alone, wait where's your little monster, Bait, or your bottomless pit Rockruff?" The man asked Ezran.

Then a tongue grabbed one of the bread. "Alcremie." Alcremie said to the man pointing to Bait that was right behind him. "Did you just…" The man said to Bait. "You can tell by his eyes he's innocent." Ezran said to the man, as the man and Alcremie looked at Bait who had some big eyes. While their attention was on Bait, Ezran grabbed two of them and dropped one onto the floor for Rockruff and ate the other one.

Alcremie noticed this. "Alcremie." Alcremie said to the man. The man then turned around and saw Ezran about to take a bite and Rockruff eating. "Are you kidding me? I'm standing right here." The man said to Ezran, as Ezran hid his treat behind his back, and Bait then took a couple more. "Alcremie." Alcremie said to the man, making him turn around. "Hey!" The man said to Bait as he saw Bait cheeks expended and drooling. Bait then swoulded them bread and ran out the door.

As the man chased Bait. Ezran tried to grab more of the bread, but was stopped by Alcremie. "Rockruff." Rockruff said as he split into multiple shadow copies and started to run around Alcremie. As Rockruff did that, Ezran grabbed all the bread he could carry and ran into the vent closing it after the real Rockruff ran into the vent. Soon the copies disappeared, and Alcremie noticed that Ezran and Rockruff were missing. "Alcremie." Alcremie said, playing a hand on her head.

The Castle In Katolis

At the Castle Callum and Soren were practicing sword fighting. With Yanma flying around them. "Prince Callum. Today we focus on the art of-" Soren said to Callum but was interrupted by Callum. "Art! Finally something I'm good at." Callum said to Soren as he handed Yanma his sketchbook. Soren didn't say anything, he just gave Callum a look. "Sorry, sorry. Won't interrupt again. Please… continue, Soren." Callum said to Soren.

"The art of defense is critical in sword-fighting. Parrying is about angle, motion, anticipation… Misjudge your opponent, and it's over. You ready?" Soren said to Callum, as he swung a wooden sword around and poked Callum's head before handing him the wood sword. Callum then took the wooden sword, but he dropped it and quickly picked it up with a smile on his face, acting like he meant to do that.

"Ih, I'm gonna have to say no." Callum said as he started to frown. "Great. Let's do this." Soren said as he walked away from Callum not paying attention to him, and drawing another wooden sword. Then a few of the knights nearby started to watch Callum and Soren practice. "Parry, parry, parry… You're dead." Soren said as he easily blocked Callum's attacks, and knocked Callum off his feet.

Callum then grabbed his sword and got up, only for Soren to block him again. "Parry, parry… You're dead." Soren said before he hit Callum again. "Parry… Dead." Soren said, making Callum drop to one of his knees, and dropping his sword. "Really? Are you sure? Even if I was wearing Armor?" Callum asked Soren. "Even if you were wearing the rarest legendary armor, forged by Sunfire elves… Super dead." Soren said to Callum. "I'm terrible at this!" Callum said to Soren, as Soren helped Callum up.

"Yeap. But you have to practice anyway, because that's what's expected of a prince." Soren said to Callum, as Callum bent down to pick up the wooden sword. "Or a step-prince, actually." Soren whispered. "What?" Callum asked Soren. "What?" Solemn asked Callum, trying to act normal. Then they noticed Claudia walking by with a book in her hands and her mind somewhere else. Callum watched her with a smile on his face. The Callum noticed that she was about to walk into a tree.

"Hey, your sister. She's gonna walk right into that-." Callum said to Soren but was interrupted by Soren. "Shh." Soren said as he put a finger over Callums mouth. But Callum couldn't be quiet. "Claudia!" Callum yelled, waking her from her gaze. Claudia then noticed the tree in front of her. "Oh. Hi, Callum!" Claudia said to Callum, waving at him. Callum then waved back at Claudia. "You're no fun." Soren said to Callum, as Callum stopped waving. "Is this new?" Claudia asked Callum and Soren, backing away from the tree.

"Relatively new. It's only been there or 300 years." Callum joked making Claudia laugh. Claudia then took a seat on a bench nearby them. "Hey, uh, can we try again? I think I can do it now." Callum said to Soren, as he got ready. Then Soren started swinging his sword at Callum. Callum tried to block Soren's attacks but he wasn't doing a good job. Callum then tried to attack Soren's legs, but he aimed too low and Soren easily dodged Callum attack, and pinned Callum's sword under his foot.

Callum tried to free his sword. "What was that?" Soren asked Callum. "I don't know. Uh, I was trying to "sweep the leg"?" Callum said to Soren. "That's not a thing in sword-fighting." Soren said to Callum as he noticed Callum looking at Claudia. "Oh." Soren said chuckling as he realised what's going on. "I see what's going on here. Don't worry, I'll help. You come at me this time." Soren said to Callum as he let go of Callums sword, and Callum got up.

Then Callum charged at Soren. Soren then blocked a few of Callums attacks, before Soren let Callum get a hit in. "Oh, I am stabbed! By the stab-pince!" Soren said as Soren grabbed Callum's sword in his armpit, and then fell to the ground. "Lord Stabbington! Why? Spurt! Spurt!" Soren said as we pretended to be mortally wounded. "Nice work, Callum." Claudia said to Callum, chuckling a little. "He deserves it." Claudia said getting back to her book.

"Who deserved what now?" Allen asked as he and Drake walked to them. "Oh. Hey Allen, hey Drake, back from your morning run?" Callum said to them. "Yeah nothing like running three miles from the tree branches to wake you up in the morning. Maybe next time you'll join us" Allen said to Callum. "Not thanks I don't think I can handle that." Callum said to Allen. "Whatever, anyway what happened here?" Allen asked Callum.

"Oh Callum stabbed Soren." Claudia said to them. "What Callum, how could you? Soren he was so…? He was…? Yeah I got nothing." Drake said making everyone, but Soren laugh. "Hah ha very funny." Soren said to Drake. "Don't worry Soren we will remember you for a second or two." Allen said as he went quiet for a second. "Ok that's enough remembering, time to start digging a hole." Allen said, making everyone laugh again.

"Prince Callum. Allen and Drake Fischer. The King needs to speak with you three urgently." A woman's voice said to Callum, Allen, and Drake. They then turned around to see a tall woman with pale skin, long caramel hair, and grey eyes. Wearing a sleeveless white robe over a burgundy tunic, both have gold outlines and a hood that was over her head, she also had a pair of dark pants, grey boots, and a silver circlet. Next to her was a floating creature with a small white body with some red on it, a yellow ball on top of it's head, it also had yellow eyes, three little stubs, and a long pic of cloth with the end being completely red.

"Oh Opeli and Chimecho, morning ladies." Drake said to the woman and the creature. "Chim." Chimecho said to them. "So what's up, why does the King want us?" Allen asked Opeli. "That's for the king to say. Please head to the Throne Room." Opeli said to them as she and Chimecho left them. "Let's go see what's up." Allen said as they left. "Come on Yanma." Callum said to Yanma. "Yanma." Yanma said as he started to follow Callum.

A few minutes later the four of them met up with Ezran, Bait, and Rockruff, just outside the Throne room. They then knocked on the door and went in, seeing Harrow looking at a table with a few other people around him.. "Boys! You're going on a trip. To the Banther Lodge!" Harrow said to them. "But… it's spring. That's the winter lodge." Callum said to Harrow. "Eh. Winter is coming eventually." Harrow said to Callum. "What will we do? Everything fun there has to do with show or ice." Ezran asked Harrow.

"That's why Drake and Allen are going with you. I'm sure they could teach you two something new or figure out something fun to do. How knows maybe you can invent new versions using… dirt and rocks. You could build a dirt man! Or… what about mud sledding? That could be a thing. Drake Allen helped me out here." Harrow said to everyone.

"Well we can teach you two how to gather food, hill surfing, tree climbing, and maybe we can see what Pokemon made their homes around this Banther Lodge." Drake said to Ezran and Callum. "But why are we going to the Banther Lodge?" Allen asked Harrow. "Look, this is something I need you to do. And I want Allen and Drake to go with you two." Harrow said to them. "Dad-." Ezran said to Harrow but was interrupted by Harrow. "It's decided. You'll leave before sundown, so go get packed up." Harrow said to them, as he got the door.

"Yes, sir. Come on, guys." Callum said to everyone. "You two go ahead we have less to pack and we want to talk to Harrow for a bit." Drake said to Ezran and Callum. "Ok." Ezran said to them, as they left the room. "Why's he sending us away? Something's wrong." Ezran said to Callum. "Everything's going to be fine. All right? I'm sure of it." Callum said as they went to their room.

Meanwhile inside the Throne room. "Alright Harrow what's going on?" Drake asked Harrow. "Nothing." Harrow said to Allen. "You're sending us to a winter lodge when it's spring. You want us gone before the sun goes down. Harrow tell us what's going on?" Allen asked Harrow. "Fine, but don't tell my sons." Harrow said to them. "Ok." They said at the same time.

"Tonight Moonshadow Elves assassins will come for my life and they'll probably take it." Harrow said to them looking away from them. "WHAT!? WHY!?" The two of them yelled. "It doesn't matter." Harrow said to them. "Harrow they are planning to kill you! We need to know why?" Allen said to Harrow. "You see last winter we killed Thunder with unspeakable Dark Magic. Then, without mercy, we destroyed his only egg, his heir… The Dragon Prince." Harrow said to them.

"You did what? You killed an egg! What possessed you to do that!?" Drake said as he forced Harrow to look at them. "It was the only way to protect our people. After we killed Thunder we thought that-." Harrow said to them but was interrupted by Drake. "It was an egg. A baby. There are lines you never cross and you cross it." Drake said to Harrow. "Drake enough." Allen said to Drake. Drake didn't say anything.

"Now can you tell us about these Moonshadow Elves assassins. Are they as dangerous as you make them out to be?" Allen asked Harrow. "You see Moonshadow Elves get their power from the moon and they're at their strongest during a full moon." Harrow said to them. "You mean like the one tonight?" Allen asked Harrow. "Yes." Harrow said to them. "So what's the plan?" Drake asked Harrow. "It's for you to get my sons far away from here." Harrow said to them.

"Them what about you?" Drake asked Harrow. "Viren has a plan to find them before the sun goes down." Harrow said to them. "And what if they don't find them?" Allen asked Harrow. "Then we will make our stand here and fight to the end. But I can't do that if my sons are in danger. So please keep them safe." Harrow asked them. Drake and Allen then looked at each other, then nodded.

"For the kindness you have shown us. The home you gave us. And the bond we made with your sons. We will protect them. But we'll do it our way." Drake said to Harrow as he left the Throne room. "It goes without saying, but I'll say it anyway. Survive. Callum and Ezran already lost their mother, they don't need to lose their father too." Allen said as he left the Throne room. "Thank you." Harrow said, not that they heard him.

Soon Allen and Drake caught up to the Princes and their Pokemon was walking past Viren's tower. In Viren's tower Viren was talking to Claudia and Soren. "What's going on, Father?" Soren asked Viren. "We have visitors from Xadia… Unwanted visitors." Viren said to his kids. "What are they, minstrels or something?" Soren asked Viren. "Assassins." Claudia whispered to Soren. "I know! What do you think, I'm an idiot?" Soren asked Claudia. Claudia just gave him a yes look.

"They've set up a secret camp somewhere near the base of the cliffs. Soren, you will lead an attack." Viren said to Soren. "Right. Their secret camp. How am I supposed to find it if it's a secret?" Soren asked Viren. "These assassins are Moonshadow elves. They draw power from the Moon." Viren said to Soren as he picked up a box. "Inside this box is an Archangel Lunaris… a giant moon moth. It will be drawn to their energy. Follow it, and you will find them." Viren said to Soren.

"And what happens if I can't find them?" Soren asked Viren. "Then we may be on the brink of changin times again." Viren said to Soren. "You're saying they'll kill the king?" Soren asked Viren. But then Viren shushed him, and looked out the window to see Callum, Allen, and Yanma standing outside. Callum had a shock look on his face, as Viren closed the window. Callum then looked behind him to see Ezran, Rockruff, and Bait running around Drake. "Come on let's go." Allen said to Callum as the twins started to lead the Princes to their room

"Discretion, boy!" Viren said to Soren as he gave Soren the box. "Do you want to cause a panic?" Viren asked Soren. "I'm sorry-" Soren said to Viren, but was interrupted by Viren. "Just get out there and find them. Before sundown!" Viren said to Soren. "So, if there are really Moonshadow elves, then once the moon rises…" Claudia said, releasing what Viren was talking about. "They'll be unstoppable." Viren said, finishing Claudia's sentence.

"Well, I'm going to find a way to stop them. After all, "unstoppable" is just another kind of "stoppable."." Claudia said to them, as she walked away a little. "No. That's not really right." Viren said to Claudia, making her stop. "Yeah, it made more sense in my head." Claudia said to Viren.

Some time later Soren gathered some knights and was looking at the box. "Wait, I'm coming with you!" A voice said to Soren. "Callum you are not going out there." A new voice said to the first voice. Soren then turned his head to see Callum who was wearing decorated armor, and a shield and sword that was half his size. And saw Allen next to him.

"You look terrific." Soren said to Callum. "Don't encourage him Soren." Allen said to Soren. "Ok, but just so you know that's ceremonial armor. It's three times as heavy and half as strong. Oh, but so shiny!" Soren said to Callum. "I don't care. I know what's going on and I'm coming with you." Callum said to Soren.

"Callum you can barely move in that thing. You'll be more of a hindrance than help." Allen said to Callum. "No, I can help." Callum said to Allen. "You can't even get on the horse." Allen said to Callum. "Watch me." Callum said as he struggled to get on the horse. "You're just a kid, Callum." Soren said Callum. "I'll be 15 in two months." Callum said to Soren. "Ooh, fourteen and three quarters! Wow!" Soren said to Callum.

"It's fourteen and five/ six Soren, and Callum you have to be at least 18 to be considered not a kid, where I come from." Allen said to Callum. "Allen, Soren, he's our king. And he's my father. It's my duty to help him." Callum said to them. "Well, Technically he is your step-dad. But I'm sure it's similar. Think fast!" Soren said to Callum as he threw a piece of fruit at Callum. Callum then blocked the fruit with the shield, but thanks to the weight of Callum's armor he fell off the horse and into a pile of mud. "Callum!" Allen said as he rashed to Callum's side.

"You were supposed to catch it." Soren said to Callum. "Soren enough. Callum it's admirable that you want to do this for your father. But you can barely stand in that armor and I've seen you with a sword. You can barely beat Soren when he's going easy on you. So what can you do against trained assassins?" Allen asked Callum. "But I…" Callum said but was interrupted by Allen. "No buts, you're staying here. But if it makes you feel better I'll go with them." Allen said to Callum.

"We don't have any more horses." Soren said to Allen. "Who said I need a horse." Allen said as he grabbed a Pokeball. "Bouffalant came out." Allen said as his Pokeball opened. Then a big brown buffalo with a very large black ball of curly hair, and two massive horns that had two yellow rings on each of them. "Bouffalant." The Buffalo said to Allen. "Ready to go for a run through the forest Bouffalant?" Allen asked Bouffalant. "Bouffalant." Bouffalant said as it got on its knees. "That's my boy." Allen said to Bouffalant.

"Why are you taking that?" A knight asked Allen. "Cause Bouffalant is my ride and he's got power. I'm sure he can handle the Moonshadow elves." Allen said to the knight. "There's no way that thing is strong." The knight said to Allen. "Do I really have to go over this again." Allen said to the knight pulling out his Pokedex.

Bouffalant / Bash Buffalo Pokemon / Normal Type / These Pokemon can crush a car with no more than a headbutt. Bouffalant with more hair on their heads hold higher positions within the herd.

"Now unless you can suddenly gain super strength we're coming." Allen said to the knight. "Fine let's go." Soren said to Allen as they started to leave. "We'll be back, stay out of trouble." Allen said to Callum. Callum then threw the shield only for more mud to get into his face. Callum then watched them leave. "Yanma." Yanma said, whipping the mud off Callum.

The Moonshadow Elf Camp

"Four full moons past, on the eve of the Winter's Turn, the humans crossed into Xadia and murdered the King of the Dragons. Then they destroyed his only egg, the Dragon Prince. Tonight we bind our lives to justice!" Runaan said as everyone but Kali, Pinky, and Leaf formed a circle and Runaan wrapped a white band around on his left arm.

"Kali, join us." Runaan said to Kali. "No." Kali said to Runaan. "Why are you afraid to bind your life to justice?" Runaan asked Kali. "My life is bound to truth, while yours will be bound to vengeance not justice." Kali said to Runaan. "Another lie from a member of the White Dragonflight." Runaan said to Kali. "It's not a lie. And eye for an eye is not true justice, it's just revenge nothing more nothing less." Kali said to Runaan. "Besides the coward, who else will stand with me?" Runaan asked the other elves.

"My breath for Freedom! My eyes for truth! My strength for honor! My blood for justice!" the other elves said to Runaan. "My heart for Xadia!" Rayla said, as Runaan started wrapping the cloth around everyone's arms or hands. "Life is precious. Life is valuable. We take it, but we do not take it lightly." Runaan said to everyone. "Moon reflects sun, as death reflects life!" Rayla said to Runaan. "Fools all of them." Kali said under her breath as Runaan finished wrapping the cloth and cut it.

Soon all the cloth glowed blue. "When it is done, I will send a shadowhawk with a blood ribbon message to the Queen of the Dragons. We strike when the moon is highest!" Runaan said to the elves, as they left to get ready. "Uh, Runaan?" Rayla said to Runaan. "What is it, Rayla?" Runaan asked Rayla. "I was wondering... what if they know we're coming?" Rayla asked Runaan. "We have the advantage of surprise. If we act fast, we will accomplish our goals without sacrifice." Runaan said to Rayla as he walked away.

Once Runaan was gone a disappointed look apred on her face. "Ok what wrong?" Kali asked Rayla. "Nothing wrong." Rayla said to Kali. "Rayla you've been acting weird since you got back. What really happened?" Kali asked Rayla. "Nothing, I just chased the human and killed him. Now I have to get ready." Rayla said as she forced a smile and walked away. "I got a bad feeling about this." Kali said before she went back to camp.

The Castle In Katolis

Meanwhile at the castle Ezran, Rockruff, and Bait were playing hide and seek with Drake, with Drake as the seeker. Only problem was that Drake was an unwanted seeker. "Ezran where are you? Now's not the time for this." Drake said as he looked through Callum's and Ezran's room with Rockruff in his hands.

It took Drake a few minutes, but he found Ezran. "Found you now, where's Bait?" Drake said to Ezran as he noticed a glow in some of the laundry. "There he is." Drake said as he revealed Bait hidden in the laundry. "Oh, Bait, you're terrible at hide and seek." Ezran said to Bait. "That he is." Drake said to Ezran, as he put Rockruff down.

Then Callum and Yanam came into the room with Callum in his normal clothes. "Ez! Drake! What are you two doing?" Callum asked them. "Hi, Callum. Do you want a-." Ezran said but was interrupted by Callum. "No, I don't want a stupid jelly tart! Why aren't you packed you know we have to get going soon" Callum said to Ezran. "But… you're not packed." Ezran said to Callum. "What do you think I'm doing?" Callum said to Ezran as he stuffed things into his bag

As he did he heard a which sound and then pulled out a shirt, to reveal a few switch jelly tarts on it. This made Ezran and Drake laugh. "Ezran! You don't get it, do you? Why do you think they're sending us away? Because they're coming to kill him!" Callum said to Ezran. Ezran then had a sad look on his face, and put Bait then ran to his room. "Rockruff." Rockruff barked at Callum before he and bait went through a doggy door. Then Bait glowed red before growling at Callum, and then slammed the door.

Callum then sides and sits down. "Callum! What is your problem? And where is Allen?" Drake asked Callum. "I don't want to talk about it." Callum said to Drake. "Too bad we're talking about this now." Drake said to Callum. "Fine. I tried to go with Soren to stop them, but Allen wouldn't let me go. He said I would be a hindrance. Then he left with them." Callum said to Drake.

"He's just telling you hard truths. Callum it sounds like this is just you trying to prove your something your not. You want to help your dad, that's great, but you gotta accept the fact that the best way to help is for you and Ezran to get as far away from him as possible and stay safe. If you do that then, your father can focus on defending himself." Drake said to Callum, as he went into Ezran's room.

The Moonshadow Elf Camp

Near the Moonshadow Elf Camp Soren, Allen, Bouffalant and the other knights were in a clearing. "Let's see if this magic moon moth can find more than a closet full of moon sweaters." Soren said as he pulled out the box with the moth in it and then he laughed. "You know 'cause moths eat clothes?" Soren said to Allen. "I get it, but it's still not funny. Let's just get this show on the road." Allen asid to Soren.

Soren then opened the box and pulled out a big white and gold bug with transparent teal wings. Then Soren tossed the bug into the air, and it flew around Soren's head before flying off. "Let's go!" Soren said to everyone. "Forward!" Allen said as they all followed the bug at high speed.

A few minutes later in the camp everyone was getting ready when the moth landed on one of Runaan's arrows. Runaan looked at the moth and realized what it ment. "They know we're here!" Runaan whispered to everyone. Then the eves heard the sound of the horse whinnies and Bouffalant hooves in the distance and getting closer. Runaan then ripped off a necklace that was around his neck and broke it in his hand. "Mystica-Arbora!" Runaan said as he threw a cloud of dust over everyone and everything in the camp.

A few seconds later Soren and Allen made it to the clearing where the camp was. But they couldn't see it. They then got off the horse and Bouffalant and walked. Then they ran into the moth and saw it floating in place. "Nothing! Surprising no one, a magic moth is just as worthless as a regular moth." Soren said to everyone as the moth landed in Soren's hand. "Then what do we do now?" Allen asked Soren as he placed a hand on one of the "trees" and leaned against it.

"We'll have to wait for the elves to come to us." Soren said as he went back to his horse. "I guess that's all we can do." Allen said to Soren as he pushed himself off the "tree". But before he left his nose caught, with of something. "What is that pleasant smell?" Allen asked as he started to sniff the air. He then followed his nose to the "tree" he was leaning on, and started to take in the "trees" scent. "This tree has an amazing scent." Allen said as he placed his head on the "tree." "Allen we're leaving." The scout that got attacked in the morning said to Allen.

"Oh right coming." Allen said to the scout as he hopped Bouffalant. Soon the two of them started to go, but before they left Bouffalant looked at the clearing and stomped one of his hooves, then they started to ride away.

A minute after the Humans left, a flashed a white appred and relieved that the trees were the elves and the one that Allen was sniffing was Kali, whose face was red and holding her body. Once the spell was over everyone, but a flustered Kali, was looking at a panked Rayla.

"You lied to me. You let him go!" Runaan said to Rayla. "Runaan, I'm sorry! Pinky stopped me and. The human… he looked up at me and I saw the fear in his eyes." Rayla said to Runaan as her face turned from panked to shame. "Of course he was afraid. But you had a job to do! And so did you." Runaan said to Rayla and Kali. "He didn't do anything to me! How could I take his life?" Rayla asked Runaan. "And maybe Pinky stopped Rayla because he knows this isn't right." Kali said to Runaan, still holding herself.

"Thanks to that creature, you let him live… but you've killed us all!" Runaan said to Rayla as all but Kali looked at Rayla with a disappointed look on her face. Rayla then had a shocked and scared look on her face. Kali on the other hand wasn't thinking about that, she was thinking of Allen and what he did. "I'm going to hurt that pervert." Kali said quietly under her breath.

But they'll start calling them by their proper names after they learn what they are.
