Before we start I would just like to say that it's hard for me to OC accents so i'll try my best to make it sound right, just don't expect things to be perfect. Now let's get this story started with Chapter 2.
Chapter 2
What Pokemon Has Done
The forest In Katolis
Runaan and another other male elf were looking at ath castle from the top of a really tall tree. "They'll be on the lookout for us now." Runaan said to the elf. "Five of us won't be enough. We need all six. And what about those creatures you saw that one with the white staff. He had no trouble controlling that big creature." the elf said to Runaan. "We'll be stronger as five. And we can handle those creatures ourselves." Runaan said as the other elves got ready, but had Rayla, Pinky, Kali, and Leaf in a far corner of the camp with everyone one ignoring them.
This made Rayla sad. "Hey, could I borrow your sharpener thingie?" Rayla asked one of the other elves. "Whetstone." The elf said to Rayla. "Yeah, that." Rayla said to the elf. "No." The elf said to Rayla. "Hey don't let them get you down." Kali said to Rayla, as Runaan and the other elf jumped down from the tree. Then Runaan and the elf walked to Rayla, Kali and their Pokemon. "Come with me." Runaan said to them as he started to walk away.
"Rayla we don't have to go." Kali said to Rayla. "Yes we do." Rayla said to Kali as she got up, put her weapon away, and started to walk with a disappointed look on her face. "Fine, come on." Kali said as she and the Pokemon followed Runaan and Raya.
The Castle In Katolis
Meanwhile Callum was trying to apologize to Ezran. "Ezran, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have said what I said. I'm sure everything's going to be fine." Callum said as he leaned on Ezran's door. But Ezran didn't answer. "Come on. Later, you can call me a jerkface, and I'll do the crazy jerkface dance for you. It is a dance of stupitude and sorry-ness." Callum said. But again nothing happened again.
"Drake can you open the door?" Callum asked. Again nothing happened. "Okay, well, I'm going to go grab some books for our trip. We don't have much time, so I'll be back to help you and Drake pack in a few." Callum said as he grabbed his backpack and left for the library with Yanma following him.
The Forest In Katolis
In the forest Runaan was leading Rayla, Kali and the Pokemon deep into the wood. "I thought you could do it, Rayla, and Kali, I thought you could handle these creatures, but I was wrong." Runaan said to them. "You're not wrong. I can do it." Rayla said to Runaan. "And it's not my fault that they don't like the idea of you killing people." Kali said to Runaan.
"I know you've never taken before. I brought you because you're talented. Maybe the fastest and strongest of any of us. But it takes more than that. There's an instinct. A moment of truth. And in that moment, you hesitate." Runaan said to Rayla as they stopped. "I won't hesitate again." Rayla said to Runaan.
"You will. And Kali. We brought you because you have a knack for controlling these creatures." Runaan said to Kali. "I don't control them. I just don't attack them because they're not an Elf or Dragon." Kali said to Runaan. "Enough! I see now that you two are still children. Your hearts aren't hard enough to do whatever it takes." Runaan said to them. "I messed up. I know I did. Because I let that Human go, we're all in danger. But that's why you have to let me make it right." Rayla said to Runaan.
"And my heart was never a part of this mission. You all just need someone to keep the creatures away from you, so that you don't lose anyone before your attack." Kali said to Runaan. "Enough! You two had done enough." Runaan said to them. "I bound myself, my heart for-." Rayla said as she tried to draw her sword. Only for Runaan to stop her. "You'll be unsound when the job is done. Your role now is to stay out of the way with Kali, and to keep these creatures away from the rest of us. All of you will wait here, quietly." Runaan said to everyone as he pointed to a large rock near him.
Soon they all sat on the rock with an annoyed look on their face. "If we're not back by sunrise, go home." Runaan said to them as he walked away. When he left, a sad face appeared on Rayla's face. "Gligar." Pinky said, comforting Rayla. As Pinky did that Rayla looked at the castle and it made her sadder. Then Rayla had an idea. "I can fix this." Rayla said she got up. "Rayla just stay here with us. You can't undo what you did." Kali said to Rayla.
"I have to try. I have to prove to Runaan that I can do this." Rayla said to Kali. "Rayla I would love to help and punch that pervert, but it's not like we can just walk through the front door." Kali said to Rayla. "Who said anything about a door." Rayla said as she started to run through the woods and to the castle. "Rayla wait? Where are you going?" Kali asked Rayla as she and the Pokemon followed her.
The Castle In Katolis
In the castle Callum was looking through the library trying to find some books with Yanma flying over his head. Callum found one book called Lost Secrets of Xadia. Callum then put the book down and opened it. But then one of the pages turned by itself. Callum gasped and looked at the book. Then more pages of the book started to turn. "Who in the…" Callum said, backing away from the book, making Yanma flying to the ceiling. Then he heard the sound of giggling. Callum then turned to see Claudia standing close by, with a blue stone in her hands, and drawing a blue symbols that looked like a breeze in the air.
"Aspiro." Claudia said as she blew into the symbol. Then the symbol became a gust of wind and blew the book into the bookshelf near them, all the while Claudia was giggling. Callum then got up and walked to Claudia and Yanma then came down from the ceiling. "I thought the book was hunted or something." Callum said to a still giggling Claudia. "You should have seen the look on your face. It was completely adorable." Claudia said to Callum as he said "Ridiculous."
"Did you just say adorable?" Callum asked Claudia as his brain finally heard what Claudia said.
"Did I?" Claudia said to Callum. "It's so amazing that you can do things like that." Callum said, clearing his throat and blushing a little bit. "Nah, it's just a simple wind breath rune." Claudia said as she drew the same rune again. "Aspiro." Claudia said as she blew into the rune, making a small gust of air hit Callum's face.
"Can you smell the peanut butter?" Claudia asked Callum. "Oh yeah. Is that part of the spell?" Callum asked Claudia. "Nope, it's just what I had for lunch." Claudia said to Callum, making each other laugh. "See this? It's a primal stone. It uses magical energy from one of the six primal sources." Claudia said as she showed Callum the blue stone. Inside the stone was a small storm. "Look." Claudia said as she handed it to Callum. "Wow. What's inside?" Callum said, looking at the stone.
"It's a storm, a real storm. Captured from the top of Mount Kalik." Claudia said to Callum. "That's incredible. You're so lucky you get to learn magic." Callum said to Claudia. "Well, you get to learn sword-fighting." Claudia said to Callum. "I'd switch places in a second." Callum said to Claudia. Then an excited look appeared on her face and she wiggled her finger from Callum to her nose. Then Claudia ran out of the library. As she did, she ran past Allen making him spin, then once he stopped spinning Claudia realised that she was going the wrong way and made Allen spin again. Allen then fell to the floor as Callum did the same thing with his fingers.
"What was that about?" Allen asked Callum as he got up. "Oh that was… she was.. I don't know. I do not understand girls." Callum said to Allen. "Callum let me in on a little secret. No matter where you are or what world you're in. No man will never understand women." Allen said, making Callum laugh a little. "So how did the battle with the assassins went?" Callum asked Allen. "We couldn't find them." Allen said to Callum. "Then what do we do now?" Callum asked Allen as he sat down. "We run and get as far away from here as possible." Allen said to Callum helping Callum up.
Then Abigail walked into the library with a basket in her hands and a light blue penguin next to her. "Abigail, Piplup what are you two doing here?" Allen asked Abigail. "Oh I was looking for Drake. I heard that you, Drake and the Princes are going on a trip so I made some food for Drake." Abigail said to Allen. "You mean you made food for all of us right?" Allen asked Abigail. "Oh yes my mistake." Abigail said to Allen. Allen and Piplup only giggled.
"It's all right Abigail. Don't worry I'll make sure Drake gets this food, and I'm sure Drake would appreciate it if you were out of the castle tonight." Allen said to Abigail taking the basket. "Ok I will, but where is Drake? I was hoping to say goodbye before you have to leave." Abigail asked Allen. "Actually I don't know where he is. I just got back from a ride with Soren. Callum, any ideas?" Allum said to everyone. "I think he's back in Ezran room." Callum said to Allen. "Then let's go. Come on Callum. Bye Abigail, bye Piplup." Allen said as he put the basket on his staff, said goodbye to Abigail and Piplup, and pulled Callum out of the library and to Ezran's room with Yanma following them.
Meanwhile in the Throne room Harrow was looking out a window when Viren walked in. "My king, we have not been able to find the elves." Viren said to Harrow, as he walked to the window "Sundown is only an hour away." Harrow said to Viren. "Soren and the others have returned to bolster your defenses." Viren said to Harrow. But Harrow sighed.
"It won't be enough. I've accepted that tonight, I may pay the price for our mistakes." Harrow said to Viren. "Harrow, don't just give up just yet. Claudia and I are still searching for a creative solution." Viren said to Harrow. "Call it what it is… dark magic." Harrow said to Viren. "Yes." Viren said to Harrow. "I've spent years going along with these "creative solutions," and where has it gotten me?" Harrow said to Viren. "I don't understand." Viren asked Harrow. "I know you don't. Leave me." Harrow said to Viren, making Viren leave the Throne room.
As Viren left Claudia came running up to him and did that finger thing again with Viren, making Viren sighs. "Okay, what is that, with the nose, the finger? Not everyone speaks Claudia, Claudia." Viren asked Claudia. "It means, I've got something." Claudia said to Viren.
Back at Ezran's room Callum was knocking on the door to Ezran's room with Allen sitting in Callum's chair. "Ezran, we need to get going. it's almost sundown." Callum said to the door. But they got no response. "Ez? Drake?" Callum asked. "Okay alone time is over. We're coming in." Allen said as he opened the door. Once the door was opened they saw the room was empty. "Oh, no." the two of them said at the same time. "Prince Callum, Mister Fischer." A knight said as he knocked on the door. Allen then quickly closed the door, as the knight entered the room.
"Hello what up?" Allen asked the knight, as he and Callum tried to act normal. "Well, the king wants to see you two." The knight said to them. "Oh, perfect. But he could have seen all four of us if he wanted to." Callum said to the knight. "Haha yeah, come on Callum let's go." Allen said, pulling Callum and Yanma out of the room. This made the guard roll his eyes.
The Forest In Katolis
Meanwhile in the forest Rayla was jumping from the tree branches with Pinky following close behind her by flying, and Kali and Leaf following her from the ground. Then they stopped when they ran into two knights they were talking. "Yesterday, I had two eggs for breakfast and I was starving. Today, I had four eggs and I'm stuffed, so tomorrow-." The Male knight said to the female knight, but was interrupted. "Three eggs, I get it. We don't need to talk." the female knight said to the male knight.
"I was going to say two eggs and one sausage." The male knight said to the female knight. As the two knights talked Rayla, Kali, Pinky, and Leaf went around them. They ran for a while hiding from knights. Soon they made it to a river that was right under the castle.
"Rayla lets just head back. We can't climb this." Kali said to Rayla looking at the large rock wall. "You don't have to. But I have to climb this." Rayla said to Kali. "Rayla you don't have to do this. I know you want to prove yourself to Runaan. But you don't have to be a killer like him." Kali said to Rayla. "I have to do this." Rayla said as she pulled out her blades and turned them to hookes and started to jump across the stones on the river.
"Rayla wait!" Kail said as she went after Rayla. Then Rayla started to jump, as Rayla jumped, Kail tried to grab her legs trying to stop her. But it didn't stop Rayla, it only got Kali to go with her. "Kali what are you doing?" Rayla asked Kali. "Trying to stop you. This idea seemed better a few seconds ago." Kali said to Rayla. Rayla just groaned and started to climb with her hook blades with Kali hounding her legs for dear life. "Fomantis." Leaf asked Pinky. "Gligar." Pinky said letting Leaf onto his back. Soon Pinky started to fly after Rayla and Kali.
As Rayla climbed they made it to a dent in the rock wall. "Rayla we can go any further." Kali said to Rayla. "Just kick the rock under your feet on three, two, one." Rayla said to Kali as she started to count down. Kali did as ordered, and they jumped past the dent. Rayla then hooked her blades in the rock above the dent, but then they started to slip. Lucky one of her blades was able to hook into the rook just before the dent. Then Rayla slammed her other blade back into rock and continued to climb with Pinky and Leaf flying near them.
The Castle In Katolis
Inside the castle Allen, Callum, and Yanma. "You wanted to see us?" Callum asked Harrow as they poked their heads through the door to the Throne room. Harrow didn't say anything, so they just entered. "Pince Callum. Allen Fischer." Harrow said to them as Callum put his bag on the floor. "My king." The two of them said to Harrow as they bowed. "No, I… Please." Harrow said to them. "Okay." The two of them said to Harrow and finished Bowing.
"Callum, I know I'm not your birth father, but I want you to know that…" Harrow said to Callum as he took a deep breath. "This isn't easy. So, the most important things, I've written down." Harrow said to Callum as he gave Callum a letter. "A letter?" Callum said to Harrow, taking the letter.
"You'll understand in time. And Allen, I want you and Drake to stay by my son's sides. Despite your young age. You two are some of the wisest and kindest people I have ever met in all of my years. Please protect them, and lead them down a new path, one not made by my mistakes. Here I thought it would help if you knew my biggest mistake." Harrow said to Allen as he handed Allen a letter. Allen didn't say anything as he took the letter.
"I want you two to break the seal when… Well, you'll know when." Harrow said to them. "When you've been killed." Callum said to Harrow. "Callum." Allen said to Callum. "War is full of uncertainty." Harrow said, placing his hands on Callum's shoulder. "Why can't you do something about it? Can't you just make peace with them?" Callum said to Harrow. "It's not that simple." Harrow said to Callum.
"It seems pretty simple to me. You don't want to die. I'm sure the elves and dragons don't want to die. So, everyone agrees." Callum said to Harrow, shaking Harrow's arms off. "Callum it's not that simple." Allen said to Callum. "Why not?" Callum asked Allen. "Because you forget three things. Hate. Greed. Power. If any one of these three things get into your mind, you fall down a dark path. The only reason the elves are here is because their hearts are full of hatred towards humans after what they did to the Dragon King. Even back home we have people who cause major trouble because of these three things." Allen said to Callum.
"He's right. There are centuries of history. Generations of wrongs and crimes. On both sides. I am responsible for some of those wrongs. I have done terrible things. I thought they were necessary. Now, I don't know. But I do know I will pay the price for the choices I made. And I trust Allen with the end of my story. Where I'll be known as a bad or good king is in Allen's hands." Harrow said to them while looking at the letter in Allen's hand.
"There has to be a way to make it right." Callum said to Harrow. "It's too late. What is done cannot be undone." Harrow said looking away from them. "But you're the king. You can do anything." Callum said to Harrow, making Harrow and Allen sighed and laughed a little. "The Great Illusion of childhood is that adults have all the power and freedom. But the truth is the opposite. A child is freer than a king." Harrow said to Callum looking at him. "He's right while a child can do and become whatever he or she wants. A King must always put his people first and do what is best for them, and not for him." Allen said to Callum, as Callum looked at the letter.
"I'm going to give this back to you this weekend, okay? I'm not going to have to open this." Callum said to Harrow. "I agree with Callum you'll get this back later and you will tell me what happened yourself." Allen said to Harrow. "Callum take care of your brother. Allen please keep my sons safe with your brother." Harrow said before turning away from them again.
Callum then grabbed his bag and then hugged Harrow. Harrow then hugged him back and the two cried a little. Callum then left with Yanma close behind, leaving just Harrow and Allen. "I didn't want to say this in front of Callum, but I'm sorry I could find them, and I hope you find peace in the after life." Allen said as he walked to the door ,but stopped as he grabbed the handle. "And just so you know. No matter what history says about you. Know that you are a great father." Allen said to Harrow. "Thank you." Harrow said to Allen, before Allen left and caught up to Callum.
Meanwhile outside Rayla finished climbing the wall and got over the side. With Rayla panting from exhausted and Kali panting from fear. Then a second later Pinky and Leaf Landed next to them. "Okay… we made… it… now what?" Kali asked Rayla as they caught their breath and got up. "Now, we show them that they're wrong about me." Rayla said to Kali as she looked at the forest. "So you are going to try to kill some overlay protected king and prince, when you aren't at your strongest? Sounds like a great way to get us killed." Kali said to Rayla.
"I can do this. I will do this. You can climb down if you want out." Rayla said to Kali as she pulled up her hood. "Fine I will." Kali said as she then looked down. Then Kali noticed how far down it was. "On second thought I'll go with you." Kali said as she pulled up her hood. Soon the four of them started to run into the castle.
As the girls ran, they ran past Callum and Allen, who were looking for Ezran and Drake. And the guys heard the girl all run past them. "Ez, is that you?" Callum said as they walked down the hall the girls ran though. "Drake Now's not the time for this." Allen said. "Hello." Callum said to the hallway. Soon the girls hid and let the guys past them. "That's him, that's the pervert." Kali said as the girls went after the boys.
Kali stayed in the shadows with the Pokemon, as Rayla followed the boys. "You know you can't sneak up on me." Callum said to who he thought was Ezran and Drake. Then Allen felt something in his spine. "I think we have a problem?" Allen said to Callum. They then turned to see Rayla behind them, this scared Callum and made Allen point his staff at Rayla. Rayla then took off her hood.
"Uh, uh, you're not who I thought you… You're one of those, with the pointy…" Callum said to Rayla. "Oh, you don't like my ears?" Rayla asked Callum. "No. I mean, yeah. Yes, I do, I guess. I mean… I meant the pointy swords." Callum said to Rayla. "That's far enough. I'm looking for Someone." Rayla said to Callum, as she pointed her one of her swords at Callum. Allen then got in front of him and pointed his staff at Rayla.
"Oh. Uh, did you check back there?" Callum said to Rayla. "Don't help her. Dragon Breath." Allen said to Callum as he fired a burst of energy at Rayla. But then Kali, Pinky, And Leaf came out of hiding and pushed Rayla out of the way. "Well ladies We would love to chat, but we got to go. RUN!" Allen said as he pushed Callum down the hall. Soon they started to run. "That pervert is a mage?" Kali said as Rayla went after them.
"Start knocking things over." Allen said to Callum as they started to knock things over trying to stop Rayla. But Rayla just jumped across the walls, with Kali, Pinky, and Leaf following them as fast as they could. Soono Callum and Allen made it to some knights. "Look alive." Allen said to them. "She's right behind us." Callum said to them. Then the knights notice Rayla and draw their swords. Rayla then switched her swords to hooks and then jumped over the knights.
Then once Rayla was behind them she hooked their legs and made them fall to the ground. "Hey, you swept the leg." Callum said to Rayla. "What?" Rayla asked Callum. "Nothing." Callum said to Rayla. "Come on." Allen said to Callum as he dragged Callum away. Kali and the Pokemon then caught up to them. But then Rayla ran after the boys. "Oh come on can't we take a break." Kali said as she stepped on the knights head, knocking them out.
Then they ran up Viren's tower. "Lord Viren! Claudia! Anyone!" Callum said they entered Viren's room. But then Rayla knocked Callum to the floor, knocking the letter out of Callum's bag. Rayla then tried to attack but Allen blocked her with his staff. "Fire Fang." Allen said as he tried to attack Rayla. But instead Rayla used her swords and forced Allen's staff to the side making the Fire Fang hit the side of the room, next to a painting.
The two locked their weapons when Kali came and tackled Allen to the ground. And then Pinky came in and pinned Yanma with his body. But Allen then wrapped his arms around Kali using her as a shield. "Really using an elf as a shield that low. Now let her go. Neither of you have to die." Rayla said to them.
"Call me crazy but you two did just chase us, and-." Allen stopped when his nose caught a familiar scent. "Wait a minute. You were that tree from before." Allen said to Kali. "That's right, pervert." Kali said to Allen. "So that means? Oh come on!?" Allen said to himself. "Enough flooring around. There are only two targets tonight." Rayla said to Them. "Wait, two? What do you mean?" Callum asked Rayla. "I'm here for the king. And I'm also here for his son, Prince Ezran." Rayla said to them.
"You can't, that's not fair. Why would you hurt someone who's don't nothing wrong?" Callum said to Rayla. "Humans cut down the King of the Dragons, and destroyed his only egg, The Dragon Prince. Justice will not be denied." Rayla said to them. "It's not justice, all you seek it's vengeance. After all an eye for an eye is not justice." Allen said to Rayla.
"See even the pervert thinks I'm right." Kali said to Rayla. "The name's Allen gorgeous." Allen said to Kali. "Don't call me Gorgeous, pervert the name's Kali." Kali said to Allen. "What ever gorgeous. but tell me why do you two have a Gligar and a Formatis with you two?" Allen asked Kali. "Wait? You know what these creatures are?" Kali asked Allen. "Enough where is the king and Prince Ezran." Rayla said to them. "Well, then, you found me. I am Prince Ezran." Callum said to Rayla, surprising Allen.
Meanwhile in the throne room Harrow was getting ready for his last stand unaware of the danger that Callum, Allen, and Yanma was in. Then Viren came in with a basket in his hands. "Not a great day for a picnic, Viren." Harrow said to Viren. "On that, we agree. Moonshadow elves are dangerous, elite fighters. Under a full moon, They become nearly invisible, and they can penetrate any defense. Nothing in the five kingdoms can stop them." Viren said to Harrow.
"I know this." Harrow said to Viren. "They will find you, and they will kill you." Viren said to Harrow. "Not helping, Viren." Harrow said to Viren. "But it doesn't have to be you." Viren said to Harrow, making Harrow wonder what he ment. "In the black sands of the Midnight Desert dwells a mysterious snake called a soulfang serpent. The soulfang has an unusual diet. Its bite drains and consumes the spirit of its prey. On our last journey into Xadia, I acquired a rather unique specimen." Viren said as he put the basket down.
Viren then used his staff to take off the lid of the basket and then used his staff to pull out a two headed, dark grey scales snake. "Two heads, two bites, two souls held at once. And through magic, I can switch your spirit with another. The Moonshadows elves will find the king's body, but your spirit will survive." Viren said to Harrow. But instead of a face of joy, Viren was met with a face of rage.
Back in Viren's room Callum was crawling away from Rayla, while Allen got up and stood in between Callum and Rayla, and still holding Kali. "I have to do this. I'm sorry. I don't want to, but I have to." Rayla said to Callum. "If you want to kill my prince you'll have to go through us first." Allen said to Rayla. "Hey pervert I don't think she'll have a problem with that." Kali said to Allen. "Why gorgeous aren't you two friends?" Allen asked Kali. "I told you not to call me that pervert. And we're not friends, just forced acquaintances." Kali said to Allen.
"Enough let's just get this over with." Rayla said to everyone. "Why? You know this is wrong." Callum said to Rayla. "An assassin doesn't decide right and wrong, only life and death." Rayla said to them. "That's very clever, but come on, really? How does this solve anything?" Callum said to Rayla.
"He's right. No one has the right to decide where or not a person can live." Allen said to Rayla. "The pervert is right." Kali said to Rayla. "Kali, did you forget that it was the Humans that attacked us unprovoked." Rayla said to Kali. "If Runaan wasn't so blind with his hatred you would have known that the Humans were provoked." Kali said to Rayla. "Yeah is it okay for you to be doing the same?" Callum asked Rayla.
"Well, no. It's not the same thing, because we're attacking you provoked." Rayla said to them. "That is the same thing. An attack made out of anger is the same whether or not you were provoked." Allen said to Rayla. "Then it's a cycle. You hurt me, someone will get revenge against the elves. It won't end." Callum said to Rayla. "You got it." Allen said to Callum. "I agree with the pervert and the prince." Kali said to Rayla. "Callum. Allen." Ezran's voice said to everyone.
Callum and Allen then looked at a big painting of a girl and some sheep. "Psst, Callum. Allen," Ezran's voice said from the painting. "Allen, what are you doing with that lady. Mom taught us better than to hold a lady like that unless... Oh Allen you smoth Liepard." Drake said from the painting. "Shh, go away." Callum said to the painting. "Now's not the time to talk about this." Allen said to the painting. "We found something." Ezran said to them. "You two have to see this." Drake said to them.
"Are you two talking to that painting?" Rayla asked them. "Uh, why would we do that? 'Cause it's not a good time." Callum said to Rayla. "You mean, because you're with a girl?" Ezran asked Callum. "Allen if you are going to teach Callum how to flirt with a lady I don't think holding a lady is a good example." Drake said to Allen. "Shut up." Allen said to Drake. "There's a secret passage behind that painting isn't there?" Kali said as Rayla grabbed the painting and pushed it open, revealing Ezran, Drake, Bait, and Rockruff. Rayla then pointed a sword at them.
"Uh… Jelly tart?" Ezran said, offering a jelly tart to Rayla. "Kid, Get out of here." Callum said to Ezran. "Drake take the kid and run." Allen said to Drake. "Callum, what's going on?" Ezran asked Callum. "Looks like Allen is teaching Callum how to flirt with ladies. But he could have at least picked one that didn't have sharp swords. Unsetly Allen what made you think a fighter was a good idea for Callum." Drake said to everyone.
"Callum? I thought you were Prince Ezran. You lied to me." Rayla said to Callum. "Okay, how is that worse than trying to kill someone?" Callum asked Rayla. "He's right." Kali and Allen said to Rayla. "Stop copying me. No you stop it. Stop it. Stop it." Kali and Allen said to each other at the same time. "Can you two love birds finish this later." Drake said to them. "We're not love birds." Kali and Allen said to Drake as Ezran ate the jelly tart.
"Have you met Bait or Rockruff?" Ezran said to Rayla holding Bait up. "Or my friend Accelgor." Drake said as one of his Pokeballs opened. Then a blue flash appeared behind Drake. Then the flash charged into a creature with a small body that was wrapped in black cloths and had a red head with two green lines on it, a black cross, and a black mask over its eyes.
"Say Hello my little / sneaky friend." Ezran and Drake said to Bait and Accelgor. Bait then fired a giant blinding flash. With everyone blinded by the light, Accelgor then started to attack Rayla, Pinky, and Leaf, knocking Rayla's weapons out of her hands, and knocking Pinky and Leaf into Rayla forcing her to the ground. "Callum, follow us. we have to show you something." Ezran said to Callum.
"Say goodbye to your girlfriend Allen we got go." Drake said to Allen as everyone but Allen ran down the passageway. "Fine got to go gorgeous call me." Allen said as he threw Kali on to the pille with Rayla and the others. Allen then started to run after the others and slammed the painting shut, forgetting about the burn mark he left on the wall. Soon the girls started to recover, and went after the boys.
Meanwhile Harrow Was in the Throne room looking away from Viren. "No. I won't hide in the body of another, while someone else dies paying the price for my decisions." Harrow said to Viren. "Two hundred men and women are ready to fall protecting you tonight, but you won't let one soldier sacrifice their life for you?" Viren asked Harrow. It's not the same. I would rather die a king than live as a coward." Harrow said to Viren looking at Viren with one eye.
"Ah. so, that's what this is really about." Viren said to Harrow. "What are you talking about?" Harrow asked Viren. "Pride." Viren said to Harrow. "No, I already told you the problem. It's dark magic." Harrow said to Virne, turning around to face Viren. "Yes, it is. It's clever. It's brilliant. It's practical. It will save your life and many, many others." Viren said to Harrow.
"It's a dangerous shortcut. We may not pay now, but we will pay the blood price eventually. That is why the Great Dragons divided our land because of dark magic and destroyed all those who used it. That's what got us here? Dark Magic!" Harrow said to Viren. "You're acting stubborn and ungrateful." Viren said to Harrow. "Should I be grateful that you destroyed that dragon's egg? Thank you for starting this unwinnable war? Thank you for angering the dragons and the elves so much that tonight they are here for my life?" Harrow said to Viren.
"Destroying that egg saved our kingdom. Maybe all of humanity. And we may be able to win this war if you let me experiment on the Pokemon." Viren said to Harrow. "It was an egg!" Harrow said to Viren. "And it would have become the most powerful creature in the world." Viren said to Harrow. Harrow then took a set both of them exhausted from arguing. "What is done cannot be undone. I am offering you a path forward. Your discomfort is understandable. You don't feel right trading your life for another's. But know this, every one of these men and women would gladly trade their life to save yours." Viren said to Harrow, pointing at the knights in the room.
Harrow just pinched his nose. "You want to know what Drake said to me. There are lines we never cross and you crossed it once. So will you do it again. Will you trade places with me?" Harrow asked Viren. "I…" Viren said, but just sighed, and a mad face appeared on his face. "Get out." Harrow said to Viren, as a mad face appeared on his face. Viren then grabbed his backet, bowed to Harrow, and then left.
Meanwhile the Pinces, the trainers, and the Pokemon were running down the passageway. "You're only making this worse." Rayla yelled to them from down the passageway. "Worse how?" Callum asked. "Less talking, more running." Allen said to Callum. "This way." Ezran said, leading them to a dead end. "We're trapped. What do we do now?" Callum asked everyone. "We stand and fight. Help us out Escavalier." Allen said as he opened one of his Pokeballs.
Then a blue flash appeared in front of him. Then a floating creature with shell-like armor, a small red fin on the bottom, a blue body, with a yellow belly and eyes. A knight helmet with a red blade on the end, and two lances for hands on the end of it's arms. "Escavalier." Escavalier said as he got ready to fight. "That won't be necessary Allen. Ezran do you thing." Drake said to Allen and Ezran. "Right time for a puzzle." Ezran said pushing on the dead end.
"Rock, rock, stone, rock, stone, stone. Rock, stone, rock, stone, stone…" Ezran said as he pressed the wall. "Wait, what's the difference between the rocks and the stones?" Callum asked Ezran. "Ugh! You made me do stone instead of rock." Ezran said to Callum. "Less talking more pushing we can argue about this later." Drake said to them. After a few seconds of Ezran pushing rocks and stones a hidden stairwell opened up. "Wow." Callum said as he looked at the stairwell. "Come on." Allen said, grabbing Callum.
Then they ran down the stairwell, and once they reached the bottom Ezran and Drake pulled a little statued raising the stairwell. "Yes!" Ezran said. "You're sure those two and their Pokemon won't be able to follow us?" Callum asked Ezran. "No way. It took me and Drake a few weeks to figure out that combination." Ezran said to Callum. "Oh so that's where you've been during your free time." Allen said to Drake.
"Yeap and don't worry about the Pokemon they're a Gligar and a Formatis. Unless that Gligar is older than it looks then they shouldn't be a problem." Drake said to them as the stairs came down again. With Rayla on the last step, with Pinky behind her, and Kali laying on the upper stepps, with Leaf next to her. "Can… we… stop… running... I'm… not… a… runner..." Kali asked everyone as she was gathering her breath with Leaf fanning her with her leaf hands.
"But how did you…?" Ezran asked Rayla. "I just pressed all the stones with the jelly handprints." Rayla said to Ezran, making Ezran slap his head, leaving a jelly handprint. "I told you to whip your hands." Drake said as he whipped the jelly handprint of Ezran's face. Then Kali got up and the girls started to walk to them. Rayla and Kali then looked at the room and saw all the bones and things in jars, and it disgusted them. "What is this place?" Rayla asked them.
"We don't know. It can be a bathroom for all we know." Allen said to Rayla. "Runaan is right. There's nothing in humans worth sparing. Time's up." Rayla said to them. "Hey don't blame all humans because of a few bad ones. Do you think that me and the others here approve or like this. Good and evil live in everything. How do we know if this Runaan doesn't have a room full of skulls that he took from the people he killed." Allen said to Rayla.
"Runaan's not a monster. He does what must be done," Rayla said to Allen. "A killer is a killer doesn't matter the reason. By that simple truth it makes you and this Runaan the monsters here." Allen said to Rayla.
"You're the monsters. Humans destroyed the egg of the Dragon Prince. There must be justice." Rayla said to them. "You'll have to get through me." Callum said as he got in front of Ezran. "Your right we need to bring the people who destroyed the Dragon Prince to justice. But killing them in the middle of the night will only lead to more death. Tell me is killing two people really worth starting a war that will kill millions on both sides." Allen said to Rayla. "The pervert's got a point Rayla. If you do this it will only lead to unasary deaths." Kali said to Rayla.
"Enough!" Rayla said to all of them. "Wait. You need to see something." Ezran said to Rayla. "I'm not falling for that flashing frog trick again. Or that crazy bug." Rayla said to Ezran. "He's a glow toad." Ezran said to Rayla. "And this is Accelgor." Drake said to Rayla, while pointing to Accelgor. "But there's no trick this time. Please, look." Ezran said to Rayla while pointing to something that was covered by a sheet in the back. "You all want to see this." Drake said to everyone.
"Rayla let's see what they want to show us." Kali said to Rayla. "Fine. You uncover it. Slowly." Rayla said to Kali and Ezran. "I can hear something inside, something alive." Ezran said as he pulled the sheet off, revealing a big glowing blue egg with multicolor spots on it. This made everyone, but Drake, Accelgor, Ezran, Bait, and Rockruff drop their jaws.
"It… It can't be." Rayla said looking at the egg. "The prince is alive." Kali said as Rayla lowered her weapons. "The egg. It wasn't destroyed." Callum said to everyone. "So tell me. Is killing justice when the target has done nothing wrong?" Drake asked Rayla as they all just looked at the egg.
