Paradox
(DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT OWN POKÉMON OR BEN 10! POKÉMON BELONGS TO NINTENDO/GAMEFREAK! AND BEN 10 BELONGS TO "MAN OF ACTION"!)
(Years ago, in the Year of 1952, at the Height of the Cold War, in a Top-Secret Government location set inside a Laboratory, an experiment was in progress. Then a Man, who was supervising the Experiment asked one of the Scientists involved with the Experiment).
Man: Sure, this thing is gonna work? (The Man in question, Nanu was an Official of the Unova Army and was speaking into a Loudspeaker to the scientists in the room across from him). Your time machine has cost the Unovian Government a pretty penny, doctor. (One of the Scientists involved in the experiment responded to his question saying to him).
Scientist #1: The Chrono-logger is hardly a time machine in the sense of a vehicle, but truly a subatomic drill designed to bore a tunnel in the fabric of space-time. (Behind the scientist was a large round portal device). As to cost, I think the alleviation of untold human suffering throughout history is ample justification, General. (Nanu then says to his fellow scientists at a control panel).
Nanu: It will also give our red friends overseas a thing or two to think about. (Then he puts on a Pair of Safety Goggles just like the other scientists have. Then the Scientist continues telling the Army Official of his Experiment).
Scientist #1: But to answer your first question, there is only one way to find out. (The Scientist puts his Army Goggles on before turning the Machine on. The Machine begins powering up as it creates a Vortex inside the center of the machine. One of the Other scientists became afraid asking the first scientist).
Scientist #2: You are certain we are safe, doctor? (The Scientist Reassures him saying to him).
Scientist #1: Well, I am not certain of anything, Faba, but the chrono-magnetic field we have generated should protect us. (The Machine continues powering up with the energy the portal made became increasingly powerful. Faba, still afraid approaches the Scientist asking him).
Faba: Doctor, I- I am frightened. (Then out of nowhere, the scientist holds up a bag to the scared Faba telling him).
Scientist #1: Have a gumball. It will calm your nerves. (The Scientist smiles while Faba backs away in fear. The Machines recording the energy waves, begin going crazy. The Energy made by the Portal was becoming increasingly Powerful still, the Vortex began pulling things into it, such as a Headlight, and a piece of the Machinery, before more stuff was ending up pulled into the Portal. The Portal was pulling the Lead Scientist in closer too, but he tried to fight against the pull it had on him. But it proved to be in vain, as the Portal ended up sucking him into it. From the Safety of the Room where Nanu and the other two scientists were, they watched as a Large Figure Suddenly appeared and began roaring Loudly to them, wondering what just happened and what they just did).
(Now in the modern, Paul was driving the group down the road in his car to their requested destination).
Paul: You did not need to come. Iris and I could have managed this alone. It is nothing, really. (They arrive at a brick wall that separates them from their desired destination).
Mightyena: To Quote a Middleton Cheerleader named Kim Possible, it would be "No Biggie".
Ash: Does not Sound like nothing. Weird noises, (Paul parks his car, and the group gets out to investigate) unearthly lights, rumors of weird Creatures out here?
Pikachu: In other words, the stuff we investigate.
Paul: Yes, the dudes we heard it from are not completely dependable. (Iris then feels the need to point the irony out to Paul).
Iris: Well, isn't that, like, a big bad-boy thing to do - come out here to the ghost town to drag-race? (Paul dismisses it sounding amused by what Iris said about the Abandoned Area they just arrived at).
Paul: How should we know? We just know them from an auto shop.
Mightyena: Do not expect us to run background checks on them. Or anyone for that matter. (Then Ash, Pikachu, Iris, and Fraxure take notice of Spray-Painted graffiti that says in Red Paint, "Paul and Mightyena Rules!").
Fraxure: Nice Self Promotion over there guys. (Then Ash says to get the group to focus on what their destination is or in this case, was).
Ash: Grandpa Mohn said Area 28 used to be a big military base back in the'50s. Some kind of research facility.
Paul: Yes. Must have been very in-depth research. Check out these walls. 50 Years later and there is still No way in. (Then the group notices a Pair of large holes in the wall. Seeing has Paul and Mightyena in shock as they do not ever remember seeing them before). No way. These were not here.
(Now inside Area 28, the group was back inside Paul's car as he was driving down the road. Before he comes to a stop and parks the car as everyone gets out as Iris Points something she noticed about the holes to the group).
Iris: Did anyone notice A Couple of them are vaguely person-shaped?
Ash: Weird. May be something - I do not know - burned through the wall. (Paul questions this asking Ash).
Paul: Like what? (Then Ash refers the group to something he sees right In Front of him and Pikachu).
Ash: The same thing that burned these weird trails everywhere.
Pikachu: Whatever did this is powerful in a ton of ways. (Then Iris points to something sees in the middle of all the trails).
Iris: Look. (Ash then sees what Iris was referring to just now).
Ash: This is a Pidove. (Then he bends up to pick up a skeleton laying at his feet). And these are Ekans bones. They are nothing but fossils.
Iris: And They are not the only thing. (They see a trail leading to a Phone booth before moving off in another direction). It is like someone turned this slate into sand just by standing on it. (Iris and Fraxure could see that the cable to the phone in the Phone booth was hanging down and sparking as Paul and Mightyena walked up to them to offer what may be an explanation for it).
Paul: He was likely on hold.
Mightyena: For what? An eternity lasting just a 50 Year period? (Paul shrugs his shoulders as Ash and Pikachu follow the trail starting at the Phone booth).
Ash: The trail goes to the police station, (Ash and Pikachu then glance over to a building that was near the "Police" building) then to those - I guess They are apartments.
Paul: Just to review, someone stood here a million years ago and then walked to those buildings built 50 Years ago. (Ash does not find this the least bit helpful).
Ash: You are not helping. These could be signs of serious Ultra Beast activity, and it is up to us - (But then Iris interjects to say to them)
Iris: Ultra Beast are not doing this. Does that look like Ultra Beast to you? (They looked in the direction that Iris was pointing and something that they had never seen before! What they saw looked nothing like any Pokémon, but instead looked like a Giant Purplish Brown door with a Smoky Trail coming from the top. In the Center of its face was a Giant Pink Keyhole nose with Chains going from the keyhole in two directions, with one row of chains going to an Arbok like mouth that was gripping the Chain in its mouth, while its Body ended up wrapped around a pilar connected to the door. Underneath the Giant Pink Keyhole was a Large Grinning Mouth with Pink lips and Yellow Colored Teeth and what look like Pink Steps going up to its mouth. It also had a Pair of Bulging Cheeks next to its keyhole nose, above it was a Pair of eyes, and a Diamond like icon on its forehead).
(A/N #1: For Clarification, what I am describing is the Pokéstar Studios opponent called, Black Door from the "Mystery Doors of the Magical Land Series").
(As the creature raced towards the group, it raced over the grass, leaving them wilting. Paul then goes and puts his hands to a piece of the concrete sidewalk and begins absorbing it, giving his body a concrete covering).
Paul: Finally, something worth the gas. (Then Iris arms herself with her Aura Powers building up in her hands, while Fraxure readies its claws, Mightyena goes and stares down the creature beside Paul, as Pikachu jumps off Ash's shoulder as he goes hero turning into...).
Ash: Iron Thorns! (The group runs towards the creature ready to fight. But the Creature just zooms past them, not even interacting with them. Instead, the Creature rams itself into one of buildings doing extensive damage to it as the group chases after the creature, the building it damaged begins falling towards them as Shouts to them).
Iron Thorns: Look out! (Luckily, the group manages to get away in time to avoid the falling building in time. When the group recovers moments later, they see that the creature was gone). Gone. (Then the Pokétrix times out turning Ash from his Iron Thorns Form to his human form).
Pikachu: What was that thing?
Fraxure: You got me.
Mightyena: Your guess is as good as mine.
Iris: At least the building it destroyed was not the library. (Paul sheds his concrete Body Covering as he sarcastically tells her).
Paul: You really love those books. (Ash then points out to Paul what Iris meant when she talked about the library).
Ash: She is saying we need to research, find out what that thing is. All we know so far is that it is looking for something here on the base.
(A Short time later, the group was at a building with a sign saying, "Library").
Iris: These films have serious corrosion, (The group was at a computer, with Iris sitting in front of the screen) but it looks like they made this base for some kind of time experiment called Project Turo. (Iris has pulled up an article on the computer with a couple parts of said article blacked out obscuring those parts of it as scrolled through pages of the article. Before landing on a page with a Picture of the scientist who ended up sucked into the Portal in 1952 as Paul then rhetorically asked them).
Paul: Who would not pick the desert outside Pallet Town to do top-secret research?
Ash: They built it here because of the huge quartz deposits.
Paul: Quartz time? Likely they were trying to build the world's biggest wristwatch.
Mightyena: I doubt there is a living being in the universe that could fit a wristwatch that big. (The others send Paul and Mightyena a glare for that Idea of his).
Pikachu: The only thing that may fit a Wristwatch that big at all is Ash's Hoopa Unbound Transformation. Ash's Biggest Pokémon Transformation to date. At least it is the biggest as far as I can remember.
Mightyena: I stand corrected. (The others roll their eyes at that as Iris mentions something she sees in the article).
Ash: They censored His name. Whoever he was, his Turo theory was the basis of some kind of experimental tunnel through time.
(Later, the group was at the Laboratory where the infamous experiment took place. The Portal was surprisingly still intact after all this time. Only now, it still looked like it was sucking things into it, even though it has long since deactivated. And there was a trail leading to and from the portal, no doubt left there by the creature they saw earlier).
Paul: Looks like my place after that big party I threw last weekend.
Mightyena: Yes, it was a raging Party.
Fraxure: That you conveniently did not invite us too. (The group splits up to inspect the room before Iris sees a trail leading to and from the Portal).
Iris: Look. That thing has been here, too.
Ash: Only one trail. It either came in here and vanished-
Iris: Or it was born here. (Then they suddenly hear a Loud rumbling, coming from another Part of the room behind the safe Space where Nanu and the other scientists were standing when the accident occurred. Pikachu sees that Ash is already reaching for the Pokétrix to go hero and jumps off his shoulder as he goes hero turning into...).
Ash: Charizard! (The group follows Ash into the room where they heard the loud rumbling. Once they got to the room, Ash grabs someone shouting).
Charizard: Got you. (The Person Ash ended up grabbing was a man who smiles as he greets Ash sounding as if they have met before).
Scientist #1: "Charizard". That takes me back. Or is it forward? It is so hard to tell, Ash. Have we met? (The Man's clear Clockwork Prediction has Ash and the others confused because they have never met this man or seen him before, yet he knows Ash somehow).
Charizard: How do you know my name?
Scientist #1: Have we met yet; I suppose the question was. (Then Paul, having absorbed the Concrete Mixture from somewhere in the lab seems to recognize the man standing before them).
Paul: Hey, it is that dork from the photo, the Turo guy. (The Man before them is a slender and tall with brown hair and beard. He wears a blue bodysuit with purple outlines resembling circuit lines underneath his white lab coat with blue square-shaped buttons).
Iris: You have not changed at all in 50 years.
Scientist #1: Oh, way more than that. (The Scientist reaches into one of his lab coat pockets and holds out something to Ash). Gumball?
Charizard: No thanks. Who are you? What is your name? (Instead of Answering Ash's Question he responds telling them).
Scientist #1: You just read my file; I was quite hoping you could tell me. It slipped my mind "several hundred years" ago. (The group was surprised by his admission of having Name Amnesia. Especially, for Paul and Mightyena as they process what the Unknown Scientist just said to them).
Paul: Did he just say, "several hundred years"?
Mightyena: How could be possible? (Ash then processes what Paul just said).
Charizard: Did you just say - (He looks back to where the Unknown Scientist was standing only to realize that had suddenly disappeared into thin Air) Hey. (Then they hear the Unknown Scientist calling to them from somewhere).
Scientist #1: By the way, (they look over to see him standing by the door into the room they were currently in) you did not happen to see a space-time anomaly around here, did you - (He then goes to demonstrate what the thing he is describing) about ye big, incredibly destructive, (The group was more in shock of how he got over there so quickly without them noticing) moderately unstoppable? One that those might call a "Black Door"? No, I must have been thinking of another moment. Ta-ta! (With that the Unknown Scientist leaves after giving them another clear Clockwork Prediction. But then Paul and Mightyena go chasing after the man, but when they leave the room like the man did, he was gone, again).
Paul: Where did he -
Mightyena: How did he do that? (Iris and Fraxure look for the Unknown Scientist and spot him through the window).
Iris: He is out there.
Fraxure: Over there! (They see him standing and leaning up against a Street lamp).
Charizard: He obviously has a connection to that Creature. We need to talk to him.
Pikachu: And hopefully, get a couple of Answers.
Paul: Oh, yes, we will talk. (Then Paul goes and busts through the wall running to the man with Mightyena by his side shouting). Right after the Pounding! (Then the Unknown Scientist, with a Smile on his face goes and walks behind the Street lamp he was leaning against. When Paul and Mightyena reach the spot where the man was standing, he was gone yet again leaving them baffled at how he disappeared like that). Huh?
Mightyena: Where did he go? (Then they look over to see him standing in the doorway of an adjacent building before he closes the door. Moments later, Paul and Mightyena break down the door as Ash, Pikachu, Iris, and Fraxure watch them run through walls right after another. Before they suddenly see the Man appearing in front of the building unexpectedly).
Scientist #1: Was I in there? (Then he runs off again, turning around a corner, and continues running with the group chasing after him, as they bust out of a building with Charizard's Fire Blast Attack before they go to chase him in the direction the man ran. Mightyena was getting tired of chasing after this man shouting hoping he would hear him).
Mightyena: Get Back here you coward! Stop Running! (But before they could go too far, he calls out to them, surprising them from behind).
Scientist #1: That was public property, you know. (They turn to see him leaning against the opening in the building they made seconds ago. And were feeling completely baffled with how kept moving around so fast, as Ash asks him in shock).
Charizard: How does he move so fast? (Then suddenly the man vanishes yet again, but they do not notice until he says to them from across the street leaning against a building).
Scientist #1: You mean, how do I move so quickly? It is what people Call, "walking". (Then he goes and walks away before he suddenly reappears next to Paul and Mightyena). Strolling, really. (While Startled by his sudden appearance, Paul does not miss a chance to grab the Unknown Scientist by his jacket and holding onto him tightly).
Paul: That is better.
Mightyena: It is about Time Clockwork!
Scientist #1: Easy on the jacket. It is 1,200 years old. And this is no time, no pun intended, to be referencing a "Danny Phantom" Character or the sixth film based on The Amityville Horror whose name is just that Mightyena. Anyway, thanks. (The Man thanking them has them confused as Ash asks why he would be thanking them suddenly).
Charizard: "Thanks"? For what?
Pikachu: Why are you thanking us?
Scientist #1: Well, I had a feeling if we made a loud enough racket, he would show up. (Almost right then the group sees the Creature Who the Unknown Scientist referred to as a "Black Door" earlier arriving. Seeing it coming, had Paul eager to hit it).
Paul: Finally, something we can hit. (But the Unknown Scientist objects to Paul's saying to him).
Scientist #1: Oh, I really do not think that is a promising idea. (Iris realizes something from Watching the creature moving towards them).
Iris: Those trails. They are not burn marks. They are age. The creature accelerates time.
Scientist #1: Incredibly good. (Then Paul runs off to attack the Black Door Creature as Mightyena cheers him on).
Mightyena: Go on Paul! Knock that thing back to where it came from!
Paul: Not so fast, ugly! (But the very second Paul touches the Black Door Creature it stings him, turning his hand back to normal removing his concrete body covering. Not only that but it makes him scream in pain). Aah! (His face ends up full of wrinkles as he collapses to the ground as the others run over to his side. Except for Ash and Pikachu as they see the Unknown Scientist running off after the Black Door Creature. Knowing Paul's wellbeing was more important right now, they let them go for now to see if Paul was okay after that. Paul was lying face down on the floor when Ash and Pikachu arrived at his side).
Charizard: Paul! (Ash turned Paul over and to everyone's horror they saw that the Mysterious Black Door Creature had used Rapid Aging on Paul turning him into an Old Man with White Hair and a Face Full of wrinkles! Now they had serious problems, an Old Paul, an Unknown Black Door Creature, and a Man without a Name! What were they going to do?).
(The Mysterious Black Door Creature has turned Paul into an old man complete with white hair and a face full of wrinkles).
Iris: Paul! (Then Ash's Pokétrix times out turning Ash back from his Charizard Form to his Normal Human Form as they look over Paul's condition).
Ash: Just touching that thing aged him 60, 80 years.
Pikachu: This is getting freaky. (Ash helps Paul to his feet). We need to take him to a hospital. (Paul then comes to and tries to get out of Ash's hands).
Paul: What are you doing? Get your hands off me.
Iris: Come on, Paul, we are gonna get you a little help.
Fraxure: You are going to be fine.
Paul: What do you mean, "help"? Because I am gonna kick that thing's keister! (Then suddenly Paul feels his back cracking and cries out in pain). Oy!
Iris: Are you okay?
Paul: Well, my back is killing me, my legs ache. And What is up with these shoes? Is it too much to ask for a little support?
Iris: He is like a real irritable, short-tempered, crotchety old man. (Old Paul says shouting at the group).
Paul: Why are you whispering?!
Ash: In other words, aside from the male-pattern baldness, he is very much the same as always. Come on, old man.
Mightyena: Man, Paul if this what you are going to look in 60 or 80 Years, then you better start working out and taking care of yourself to keep your Previous Physique for when you really do get this old. (Paul Scoffs at this saying).
Paul: Smart aleck.
(A Couple of Minutes, Old Paul took out the keys to his car before trying to put them in the ignition barrel, before Ash takes the keys from him).
Ash: Oh, I will take those. (Old Paul objects to Ash doing this asking him).
Paul: What do you think you are doing?
Ash: Driving.
Paul: Do not even think about it. You do not have a license. (But then Ash fires back at Old Man Paul saying to him).
Ash: Grandpa Mohn taught me, and it is an emergency. You are nearsighted, arthritic, your reflexes ended up shot, and You are trying to unlock a cactus. (Old Paul looks to see that he was indeed standing in front of a Cactus).
Mightyena: Paul, it would not be the worst idea in the world to let Ash drive since I doubt it will be a long-term thing. And with that Black Door Creature on the loose letting Kids Driving Cars would be the least of our problems. No offense Ash. (Ash gives Mightyena a look that says, "None taken").
(A Couple of minutes later, the group was now in Paul's Car for real, as Ash starts the Engine and begins revving the car. With Ash in the Driver's Seat, with Iris sitting in the seat next to him. In the Back was Old Paul, Mightyena, Fraxure, and Pikachu, with Pikachu sitting in Fraxure's lap. Then Old Paul leans forward to say to Iris).
Paul: You should have gone out with me when I was young and handsome.
Iris: You were too immature. (Old Paul then tries to make himself look handsome to her before asking her).
Paul: What about now?
Iris: Too old. (Ash puts the car shift back, causing Paul's Car to move in reverse and knock a bunch of trash cans over, as he says realizing where he went wrong).
Ash: Whoops! (Then Old Paul says chiding Ash).
Paul: It is not a bumper car! (Then suddenly bursting through the wall of a building in front of the group was the Black Door Creature, and it was coming their way and fast. As Iris repeatedly begins shouting to Ash).
Iris: Back up, back up, back up! (Ash hits the brake pedal sending the car backwards, as Ash does his best to maneuver Paul's Car around the alleyways. With Iris acting as lookout while Pikachu, Fraxure, Old Paul, and Mightyena looking worried from the backseat of the car. Suddenly the Black Door Creature bursts out of a wall from a building behind the group as Iris shouts to Ash). Ash, on the right! (Ash looks in his rearview mirror and sees the Black Door Creature gaining on them).
Fraxure: Come on Ash get us out of here!
Pikachu: I really do not want to end up old like Paul. No offense Paul.
(But Old Paul's hearing was not that good, so he did not hear what Pikachu said. Ash takes his foot off the brake pedal and hits the Gas Pedal, turning the car around to move towards the Black Door Creature before he turns around the corner in the space between two buildings with the Black Door Creature in hot pursuit. Ash ends up driving Paul's Car's through a Stack of Wooden Boards and crates before getting back onto a main road and continues driving hoping to lose the creature, but so far, no such luck. The Black Door Creature catches up to the group and used its Toxic attack on Paul's Car causing it to suddenly become older, going from its green color to a mahogany/chestnut brown color with the glass windows becoming cracked as Old Paul cries out in panic for his car).
Paul: No! No! Not the car! Not the car! (The Car is beginning to slow down as Ash steers the car around a corner. Ash sees a Ramp made from a bunch of wooden planks; he knows he is taking a chance with what he is about to do here as he warns the others saying).
Ash: Hang on. (The Cars drives off the Wooden Planks and goes into the air before landing on the roof of a building. Upon landing the car goes spinning out of control before coming to a stop, with the group processing what just happened, looking shocked, while also relieved that they managed to escape from the Black Door Creature).
(Moments later, the group had gotten out of the car with Ash and Iris supporting Old Paul by putting his arms around their shoulders, as he scolds Ash telling him).
Paul: You are never driving my car again! (Then Paul's Car begins trembling before a couple of tires come off, leaving the car to lean on its side as Ash admits to himself and Old Paul).
Ash: True. (Suddenly a voice catches them by surprise).
Voice: Where have you been? (The group realizes that the voice came from the Unknown Scientist who was now standing in front of them). You were supposed to get here six seconds ago. (He then looks at a Fob Watch he was holding). Or is this thing running fast? (The group was tired of this man's games and were wanting answers).
Ash: Who are you, anyway? What are you doing here?
Iris: What is that Creature?
Paul: Can you fix my car?
Pikachu: Are you willing to answer our questions now? (The Man walked up to Old Paul as if he recognized him somehow).
Scientist #1: There is something different about you. Is it your hair? (Seeing the Man avoid the question, Old Paul sarcastically answers him saying).
Paul: Yeah, I am parting it down the middle now, and I also got incredibly old!
Scientist #1: Do not talk to me about old, I walk in eternity.
Paul: Well, you better start running in eternity, smart guy! (The group could see that the Unknown Scientist despite being eons old, had never lost his sense of humor, even if they were not so keen on it right now. Especially Mightyena as he was tired of this man's shenanigans and roundabout answers as he threatened him).
Mightyena: Do not make me bite you in a place that we cannot say or show in a Show for Kids.
Scientist #1: Hmm. You might slow us down; I need to fix that. We will come back right over there. (The group saw that the Unknown Scientist was referring to a corner of a building stairwell).
(Minutes later, the Unknown Scientist and Paul was coming out from behind the corner of the building's stairwell, only now, Paul was back to normal, no longer all old, wrinkly, and white haired, which everyone was thrilled about. Especially Iris and Mightyena as they ran over to hug him with Mightyena leaning his head against Paul's chest, as he pets him while hugging Iris).
Iris: Paul, I cannot believe it. You are good as new.
Fraxure: Thank Goodness.
Mightyena: I am so glad you are okay.
Paul: Well, my back still hurts a little. If I could just lean on you. (Then she playfully smirks at him as they part from their hug with Iris giving him a playful shrug, before the group turns back to the Still Unknown Scientist with them). All right, professor, if you would not mind fixing my car. (But the man refuses Paul's request responding to it saying).
Scientist #1: How exactly do you expect me to do that? For I am a time traveler, not a body shop. Regressing a car would break all the chronal laws of space-time and - (Ash, not caring the man here was a doctor, not a Placeholder cuts him off since he and everyone else wants Straights answers from him).
Ash: Okay! Enough! Because I want answers - now.
Pikachu: No more playing around, okay?
Scientist #1: Same old Ash Ketchum. You are even more like yourself now than you were in the future, which, for obvious reasons, I cannot really tell you about. (Seeing the man give them what is clearly another Clockwork Prediction, Paul asks the others as he prepares to pound him for his jokes again).
Paul: Do you want me to hurt him?
Mightyena: I have never taken down a Time Traveler before. But there is a first time for everything.
Iris: What can you tell us, Mister... (Then Iris Remembers a name that the article mentioned about the Project on the Computer earlier) Turo? (Hearing the Name, "Turo" the Unknown Scientist likes the sound of it and decides to use it as his Nickname, announcing it to them).
Scientist #1: Turo. Oh, yes, that will do. That will do very nicely, I will tell you my story in a way you can understand - with a beginning, middle, and end. (Professor Turo then takes out a fob watch). We will start in the middle. (His fob watch then flashes, releasing a Bright Blue light that envelops everyone).
(We flashback to 50 Years ago to 1952 the year of the incident with Professor Turo giving a voice over to the group who watches what happens like it was a movie playing for them).
Professor Turo: They built Area 28 entirely because of my ingenious theory - a time tunnel using the properties I discovered in quartz crystals which would allow us access to past and future events.
Paul: Yes, well, for a genius, looks like you blew it.
Professor Turo: You do not know the half of it. A Couple of tiny miscalculation on my part destabilized the experiment and ripped a hole in the fabric of reality, I ended up hurled into the event horizon. (Professor Turo ends up flying into the event Horizon of a Wormhole. Then Professor Turo finds himself in a space full of Analog Clocks of multiple diverse kinds), I must have spent 100,000 Years there. I did not age or need to sleep or eat. Just exist. (Paul then Chuckles at how Professor Turo became "The Ageless" because of this very event).
Paul: Sounds Quite boring.
Professor Turo: At first, I went mad, of course, but after a couple of millennia, I ended up bored with that, too, and went sane - very sane. (Professor Turo then finds himself in a space full of Complex Mathematical equations) I began to learn. (Then the flashback ends).
(Back in the Present, he closes his fob watch and puts it back in his lab coat as he finishes telling them his story).
Professor Turo: I now have total understanding of the space-time continuum, allowing me to travel anywhere and any when I want, within reason. (With his story concluded, Paul has a question for the clearly good doctor here).
Paul: So, where is your time machine?
Ash: He does not have a time machine. He has a map in his head.
Pikachu: So, because of his understanding of the space time continuum, he can time travel and use his Time Dissonance abilities.
Professor Turo: Exactly. And I know where all the shortcuts are, I have spent a dozen lifetimes crisscrossing the time stream, making it a better place. (This very much impressed the group, hearing that Professor Turo was his own Hero of Another Story, and has been busy with the task, Set Right What Once Went Wrong).
Fraxure: Wow! Who knew being Bored with Insanity could do that? I did not.
Paul: And how does that pay?
Professor Turo: Currently, not even in job satisfaction.
(Then the group suddenly finds themselves in a classroom like environment with a Chalkboard full of complex Mathematical equations. Professor Turo walks up to the chalkboard as he explains to the group a problem he has met as the group suddenly takes in the sudden place change).
Professor Turo: You see, I recently discovered that some kind of extradimensional Creature is going to wreak havoc across the universe.
Ash: So? Way, you talk, you take on monsters like this all the time. Why is this one so bad? (Professor Turo then takes a piece of chalk on the ledge of the chalkboard and begins drawing on it as continues explaining the problem to the group).
Professor Turo: Because unlike the thousands of foes I faced before, (He draws a circle with an arrow going into the circle while pointing in a leftwards direction) this extradimensional Creature came into our plane of reality the moment my experiment went awry. (Paul, after hearing Turo's backstory and what led to the Bad Future, has no problem summarizing everything Professor Turo has said so far).
Paul: Oh. So, just to be clear, it is your fault. (Even if Iris knew that Paul the Jerk Has a Point, it was still a little mean of him to say, but she then asks him).
Iris: This Creature has not been lurking around here for 50 years. We would have known about it.
Fraxure: So how can that be the case here?
Professor Turo: Time is like a river. (Professor Turo then goes and draws a squiggly line next to another squiggly line he has already drawn on the chalkboard to better illustrate his explanation). It moves, flows, and bends. 50 Years ago, I accidentally set off a depth charge in that river. The Creature I released ended up blasting 50 years through time to your present, doing this to your future. (To illustrate that part, Professor Turo draws horizontal lines going through the "river" he drew).
Iris: But all It is doing is messing up an old army base. Why is that a problem at all? Why not just leave it alone?
Pikachu: How bad could leaving the creature alone really be?
Professor Turo: That is a better question for the man on the moon. (This response from Professor Turo baffles the group as Ash asks him).
Ash: What? Who is the man on the moon?
Professor Turo: I am. (Suddenly, the group discovers that the environment changed once again, and they now find themselves on the surface of the moon).
Ash: We are on the moon.
Professor Turo: No, we are on the moon in your distant future. (Paul in shock of the sudden environmental change asks Professor Turo).
Paul: What really?! How are we not suffocating?
Mightyena: Or freezing like a bunch of popsicles?
Professor Turo: Good question. Not remotely the point, though. Imagine what the Earth will look like in two hundred years, say, with that time monster wandering all over it, aging everything that crossed its path to dust. For those of you with no imagination, the Earth is up there. (They look up to see that their beloved Planet Earth ended up reduced to a dark and brown dusty lifeless baron rock wasteland. The very sight of the Earth like this horrifies the group as Ash realizes just what Professor Turo was showing).
Ash: You brought us to the worst possible version of the future.
Professor Turo: No. Should I fail in stopping that Creature, this is your best potential future. (The group knew that this situation with the Black Door Creature was genuinely bad, now especially with this Apocalypse How future destined to come about if they cannot stop the Black Door Creature's rampage).
(The Group was continuing to stare up at the condition of the Earth from the Moon, knowing that this will become their reality if they do not stop the Black Door Creature's Rampage).
Professor Turo: Not a pretty sight, is it? (Then suddenly the group sees something shocking to them as Professor Turo asks). What are you doing here? (What the group saw was another Professor Turo).
Professor Turo #2: I am allowing myself to feel the full impact of my failure. (Not understanding what was going on right now, Paul asked the group).
Paul: Okay. Who is he?
Mightyena: How are there two of you here at once?
Ash: He is a Parallel Turo. (Ash, having figured it out answers Paul's question).
Parallel Professor Turo: Young Ash has an innate sense of transtemporal metaphysics, which will serve him well in his future - (He then glances over at the barren wasteland, for known as Earth) or should I say "past". (Ash smiles at this bit of Praise, having liked one of Professor Turo's Clockwork Prediction for once, and even teases Paul saying).
Ash: And I drive good, too.
Pikachu: Though you could use a slight improvement, although you did get us out of a tight spot.
Paul: We can breathe on the moon in the future, but how can you not fix my car? (Professor Turo ignores Paul's question in favor of asking his Parallel counterpart).
Professor Turo: What should I do?
Parallel Professor Turo: Well, obviously not what I did. But whatever you do, you better do it quickly. (Professor Turo takes out his Fob Watch and uses it to send the group on their way). Time is running out.
(The group returns to Area 28 in the present next to the "Library" Building. Leaving Iris to wonder about something as she asks Professor Turo).
Iris: Why come back here? Why don't we travel back in time and stop the time experiment from ever happening? (Professor Turo then rhetorically counters Iris' Question with a question of his own for her).
Professor Turo: Isn't it just like an energy being to think outside temporal conventions? (Iris then refutes Professor Turo's accusations of her being an energy being).
Iris: No, I am not an energy - (But then Professor Turo interrupts Iris to explain why he recommends-against going back in time and stopping the experiment that created the creature)
Professor Turo: The experiment that releases the creature also unsticks me in time, and that must happen because (Professor Turo Chuckles to himself) in all modesty - (Ash Understands that if they did go back in time they would be keeping Professor Turo from getting his time travel powers as part of a Grandfather Paradox).
Ash: You save the world dozens of times.
Professor Turo: Hundreds, truly. In fact, on one occasion, you and I worked together to save the entire univ- (Professor Turo cuts himself off from finishing that Clockwork Prediction due to not wanting to reveal and therefore alter the future) never mind. It should be here any - (Then they hear a Loud Rumbling noise, showing that Black Door Creature was not far away, as the group minus Professor Turo look on in shock) You could set your watch by it. (They watched as the Black Door Creature destroy a part of the building across the street from them with its Flame Charge attack. Pikachu sees Ash reading the Pokétrix to transform him and jumps off his Shoulder. Then Ash goes hero turning into...).
Ash: Gliscor! (Ash flies into the Air as the Black Door Creature's Flame Charge attack destroys the building across from the group and was coming their way. Ash uses Gliscor's Stone Edge to attack the Black Door Creature, but it looks to have no effect on it at all. But keeps attacking the Black Door Creature with Stone Edge, which has no effect on the creature. Then Professor Turo reaches into his bag and pulls out a bunch of Gumballs, then he goes and throws them at the creature. Upon impact with the Black Door Creature the Gumballs seem to make the creature slow down a little bit, before to everyone is shock the creature stops moving completely. Ash lands on the ground In Front of the Black Door Creature as they process this discovery). They hit it. Doesn't everything age into oblivion as soon as they touch it?
Professor Turo: Gumballs last an exceptionally long time. Look under your desk at school. Now, get back! (Suddenly the Black Door Creature starts moving again. Luckily, Ash flies up in time to avoid having the creature hit him. Then Iris makes her hands glow ready to fight the Black Door Creature when suddenly Professor Turo jumps in front of her to hold the creature back as best he can, even managing to hold it back a little. Then Iris calls out in worry for him turning to dust if he does not get away quickly).
Iris: Let go! He will age you into dust!
Professor Turo: I exist outside of time; I can still feel the eons passing. (The group was relieved to know that the Black Door Creature's Rapid Aging abilities were a "No-Sell" against him due to him being the Ageless, despite how he can still feel the years rapidly passing against him. Ash then lands on the ground as the Pokétrix times out turning Ash back to his human form).
Ash: Turo, take us back to the accident - now.
Professor Turo: But I told you!
Ash: Just do it!
(Professor Turo does as Ash says and takes the group back in time to the Date of the accident, along with the Black Door Creature as well. As Professor Turo continues to hold the Black Door Creature back, Ash tells the group).
Ash: Paul, Iris - the lab. Quick! (Iris, Fraxure, Paul, and Mightyena run off to the lab, while Ash and Pikachu hang back to tell Professor Turo). You just keep that thing occupied. (Then Ash runs off with Pikachu).
Pikachu: Do not worry we know what to do! (Professor Turo then rebukes Ash's request for him to keep the Black Door Creature "Occupied").
Professor Turo: K-keep it occupied? Why I am a time-traveling hero. I do not keep things occupied. (Then the Black Door Creature looks to begin overpowering Professor Turo a bit).
(The group arrives at the Laboratory where Professor Turo's experiment happened. Once there they heard Unova Army Official Nanu saying to him and the others present. The group carefully sneaks through the room to avoid detection).
Nanu: Sure, this thing is gonna work? Your time machine has cost the Unovian Government a pretty penny, doctor. (They continue sneaking around as they heard the much younger Professor Turo saying to Nanu).
Professor Turo: As to cost, I think the alleviation of untold human suffering throughout history is ample justification, General. (Then group ends up hiding beneath the glass where Nanu and the others were watching the experiment. When suddenly, Ash recalls something he noticed about the Black Door Creature's Behavior).
Ash: Why would it use the phone?
Iris: What?
Fraxure: What are you talking about Ash?
Ash: The creature. It tried to use the pay phone. Then it went to the police station, then the dorms. It did not act like an unfathomable transdimensional Creature. It did everything a normal person would do... (Iris clues into what Ash was saying as she finishes his sentence).
Iris: If they suddenly found themselves in an abandoned military base.
Mightyena: Wait are you saying that...? (Before Mightyena could finish his sentence the group hears Professor Turo's Time Tunnel Machine powering up as the room becomes increasingly bright as they shield themselves from the Bright Light. The Group watches as Professor Turo stands in front of his Machine. Ash then notices that one of Professor Turo's assistants, Faba backing away in fear, but in doing so he ends up accidentally Knocking into one of the control panels, causing it to blow a fuse and detonate).
Ash: Look there. The assistant.
Faba: Aah!
(Then they see the Energy vortex from the machine begin sucking everything into it, including Professor Turo who tries to escape its pull on him. Before long though, he ends up going into the vortex in the machine. Then they see Faba holding onto the machine he crashed into for dear life hoping to avoid the very same fate as Professor Turo. But in seconds he ends up in the pull of the energy vortex screaming for dear life. Faba was moments away from going into the portal that would eventually end up turning him into the Black Door Creature when his visors end up falling off. Ash begins crawling towards Faba to try and save him leaving Pikachu behind with the others. Only for Iris to shout to him screaming worriedly for him).
Iris: Ash, you will end up sucked in along with him!
Pikachu: Ash! Be Careful! (Ash realized that he would need a bit of extra help here to do it).
Ash: Then I need to put on a little weight. (Ash ends up lifted into the air by the pull of the vortex before he goes hero transforming with a Loud roar that leaves Nanu and his men in shock of what they were seeing) Tyranitar! (Ash uses all his body weight to keep himself from have the Machine suck him into it, then he makes his way over to Faba who was holding onto a piece of machinery for dear life. Ash and Faba lock eyes with each other before Faba ends up sucked into the machine screaming).
Faba: Whoa! (But then Ash grabs him and keeps from ending up sucked into the vortex).
Tyranitar: Trust me. This beats the alternative. (Ash manages to use Tyranitar's Strength to move out of the way of the vortex. Then Iris stands up and fires an Aura Blast at the machine while Fraxure fires his Dragon Pulse attack. This damages the machine enough to destroy it completely before the vortex itself disappears).
(Meanwhile, back with Professor Turo and the Black Door Creature. The creature was pushing Professor Turo through the town, they were mere moments from ramming into a building when suddenly it stopped moving with the Black Door Creature disappearing. When Professor Turo realizes this, he looks to see that in his arms was his former assistant Faba himself. He was the Black Door Creature this whole time!).
Professor Turo: Faba! Of course. If it were an Arbok, it would have bitten me. (Then Ash, having transformed back from Tyranitar, and the others were walking up to Professor Turo and Faba and were giving Professor Turo smug looks). But do not look so smug, I would have figured it out eventually. (Ash retorts this saying to him).
Ash: You had 100,000 years to do it! (Then Professor Turo teleports them back to their respective time, having Set Right What Once Went Wrong by Saving Faba and avoiding a potential Grandfather Paradox while saving him).
(Now back in the present day, the group was with Professor Turo, who was commending them for what they did).
Professor Turo: I need to admit it, I am impressed. All those centuries trapped in the Event Horizon, and it never occurred to me that the accident was not my fault. You are much smarter than you were when I met you later. (While Ash was grateful for the praising that Professor Turo was giving, this specific Clockwork Prediction made Ash wonder if Professor Turo had a problem involving mixing up events that have not happened yet with events that have happened already).
Ash: Thanks, I guess.
Iris: What happened to him, your assistant?
Fraxure: Is he doing okay after that? (The group was wondering what did end up happening to the one who Was Once a Man that would no longer become a monster thanks to them. Then they hear a voice greeting them).
Voice: Well, I lived my life. (They see coming up to them was a much older looking Faba, as evidence by his now white Hair and Cane).
Professor Turo: Faba! How are you? (Professor Turo was thrilled to be seeing his old friend as they shake hands with each other).
Faba: Well, you look the same, and I have not seen you in 50 years.
Professor Turo: Well, I have not seen you in 100,000 Years, but you do not look that bad. How was your life?
Faba: Good, a good life. (Then his face becomes one of sadness and remorse as he apologizes to his old friend). But I am - I am sorry about the experiment, I ruined everything. I never got to time-travel. (While Faba did not know or may be ever know what almost became his fate as a mutated time-Creature that could rapidly age everything he touched and risk corroding the planet in one hundred years as a Woobie, Destroyer of Worlds, knowing he was Unwitting Instigator of Doom caused him massive guilt. But for Professor Turo it worked out for the best in that Turo ends up flung into an event horizon and become the time traveling hero he was now).
Professor Turo: Would you still like to? (Hearing him ask that question has Faba smiling as tells him happily).
Faba: Yes, I am not afraid anymore.
Professor Turo: Glad to hear it. (Professor Turo takes his Fob Watch). How about I give you a behind-the-scenes look at eternity? (Professor Turo uses his Fob Watch to open a Portal nearby. Then the two walk together into the portal for a grand adventure together, before the portal closes behind them).
Fraxure: Well, there he goes. Off on another adventure.
Iris: At least he has company now. (The Group was happy to see that Hugo had a nice and long life after they saved him for a worser fate as a Monster although they were wondering if Faba knew Professor Turo's real name after all, since he was there when the accident occurred, and appears to be the only one left knowing his real name. The only one in the group not happy was Paul as yells to no one in particular).
Paul: Oh, and thanks for uh stranding us out here in the middle of nowhere!
Ash: Come on. We have a long walk home.
Pikachu: Not looking forward to that. (However, when the walk around a corner, they see Paul's Car back to normal. With its Signature Green Color and all, the sight of has Paul and Mightyena ecstatic).
Paul: Oh, ho, ho, ho! Stoked!
Mightyena: Amazing!
Iris: It looks new.
Paul: It does not just look like new. It is new. It is factory-new from 30 years ago. Turo, I take back everything I was about to say about you. (The group gets into Paul's Car when Ash finds a note on the windshield wipers. He picks up the note and begins reading it aloud to the group).
Ash: "Paul, try to keep in mind that if this car comes into contact with anything else from 1976, it will explode like antimatter. Enjoy! Turo". (Ash then gets in the Car with Pikachu, as Paul wonders what to make of Professor Turo's Note).
Paul: He is kidding, right? (Paul gets into his Car and starts up the engine to his car). That is some kind of time-travel joke, right (Then Paul begins driving out of the base and down the road for home in a world that was sure to have a brighter future thanks to them). Isn't it guys?

As for the Pokemon that will be the alien X in this story, well it will be a while before we get to that episode. But I hope you enjoy what in store till then.
