- 'Watch out Gravity Falls! Because at 110° we're looking at the hottest day of the summer!' -Toby Determined announced through the radio.
Inside the Shack, everyone was suffering due to the overwhelming heat.
- "All in favor of doing nothing all day say AGH!" -Dipper said sitting on the couch.
Everyone said agh at unison. Then Waddles went to Stan who was laying on the floor with an ice cream bucket in hand.
- "I'm gonna throw this pig out of the house!" -He threatened and Waddles licked his cheek to get some ice cream. - "You called my bluff pig!" -Stan was annoyed.
They heard Toby on the radio again. - 'On the bright side, pun very much intended, it's opening week at the Gravity Falls pool.' -
- "Gravity Falls pool!" -Mabel said enthusiastically.
- "Today!" -Dipper got excited too.
- "Pun intended!" -Soos followed them.
- "Quick! To the car!" -Stan said and everyone but him got up. He was stuck. - "Hey kids! A little help here." -The twins took a couple of spatulas and pulled him up. - "All right! Off to the pool!" -He said and went out of the house.
- 'And remember to be alert for random wild fires' -Toby said before they got out.
- "Wait What? AAAHHH!" -Stan screamed when he caught fire.
- "He'll be fine." -Mabel said to her brother.
They ran out of the house and found Pacifica at the door. - "Hey guys, do you wanna…" -She greeted them.
- "Sorry Paz! No time to chat." -Mabel passed by her side and hopped into the car. Stan started the engine.
- "Don't worry. I just want to…" -She tried again but Dipper ran by her side and hoped into the car too.
- "Sorry Paz, we're on a rush. The pool just opened today. Wanna come?" - he asked her.
- "No… I…" -She just couldn't finish her sentence.
- "Well as you wish, see you later Pacifica. Go! Go! Go!" -Dipper said and Stan speed away to the pool.
- "I… wanted to… invite you to my… pool… at home…Grrrr!" -She grunted in frustration, screeching her teeth and flexing her fingers. Jack grunted behind her, looking at the car going away.
- "Of course, we're going after them! It was very hard to convince my parents to let me invite them to a little pool party. LET'S GO!" -She yelled getting into the limousine. Jack got into the driver's seat.

They arrived at the pool early. But it was already crowded. They all got their swimsuits on.
- "Ah! The pool! Sparkling oasis of summer enchantment!" -Mabel said smiling.
- "Yeah! Nothing like sitting in a moist tub with strangers. It's like the bus but wet." -Stan said sarcastically.
- "Why would the sun, need to wear sunglasses?" -Dipper asked Soos while looking at his towel.
- "It's best not to think about it." -Soos answered him.
- "Wo! WHOA! Stop the presses! Who's that?" -Mabel saw a boy in the pool and she instantly got a crush on him.
- "Oh yeah! Word is dude never leaves the pool. People say he's a mysterious loner." -Soos explained her and Mabel had dreamy eyes.
- "Is it getting hot out here or is it just that guy?"-She asked no one.
- "It's the hottest day of the year Mabel!" -Dipper sad annoyed. - "Besides, can't you go for one week without having a new crush on some random guy?" -
- "Uh! Uh!" -She answered waving her head. - "Look at his little moustache hair!" -
- "You're clearly enamored. Go to him." -Soos encouraged her.
Mabel didn't waste time and ran to the guy, bothering some people in the process.
- "So beautiful." -Soos seemed proud.
- "Ah! Mabel's all talk. You want to know a secret. She's never even kissed a guy before. She always messes it up somehow." -
- "Have you kissed a girl already Dipper?" -He heard Pacifica behind him. He gulped and turned around to see her and… he gulped again. Pacifica looked awesome with her purple swimsuit, pretty similar to Mabel's swimsuit, but more elegant.
- "Ah… Ahm… N… Not… Not yet… B… But… I'm not getting crushes on a daily basis." -He protested.
- "Really?!" -She asked again, with her arms crossed, she seemed angry.
- "Y… Yes… I… I just… I just have a few crushes and… and…" -
- "Stop it Dipper! You're just embarrassing yourself." -She said annoyed and left.
- "Oy! Women!" -Stan said disappointed and got a water ballon on the face. - "Agh!" -
- "Hey Mr. Pines." -Wendy greeted him from the lifeguard spot.
- "Wendy! Where's the lifeguard?" -Stan asked her.
- "I am the lifeguard! I make the rules sucker!" -She showed off and threw him a few water balloons.
- "Agh! She's attacking me with water!" -Stan ran away and the guys laughed.
Dipper turned to Wendy. - "Wow! You work here?" -
- "I found out lifeguards get free snack privileges. Plus, I get the best seat in the house." -she showed off again.
- "Yeah! You do!" -Dipper laughed nervously. - "I've been laughing for too long." -He mumbled.
- "Dude! Are you and Wendy having a secret staring contest? Cause I think you're winning." -
- "Soos! Shhh!" -Dipper pushed him away. - "So, Hey! You wanna check more water balloons at gruncle Stan?" -He asked her.
- "I'd love to. But I got to spend the day doing tryouts. We're looking for a new assistant lifeguard." -
- "Hey! Mhmh… HEY! What if I was assistant lifeguard?" -He asked her.
- "That would be so much fun! You're totally in dude! You just have to check in with my boss first. Mr. Poolcheck." -
- "Your boss?" -Dipper wondered and looked at the strong and tall man with a strong expression, he seemed to have the one thousand miles sight. He was doing some exercise and suddenly, he looked at Dipper. That startled the boy.
Meanwhile, Mabel was doing her first approach to the guy she had a crush on. She came out from below the water right in front of him, scaring him. - "Wow! Oh my gosh! How crazy bumping into you here even though we don't know each other." -She said with a broad smile.
- "How long have you been… underwater?" -He asked her.
- "That doesn't matter!" -She coughed a little. - "So, hey! My name's Mabel." -She introduced herself.
- "Hola!" -
- "Wow! Are you Australian?" -She asked him and he laughed.
- "I am charmed by your sense of humor. And your bold lack of water wings." -
- "Haha! You're so funny! And your hair is beautiful." -She caressed his hair but he stopped her.
- "No, no, it has silly tangles." -
- "Mind if I…" -She had a comb in hand.
- "Mabel you are so… forward." -He was surprised and laughed.
- 'This is it! He likes you. Go for it, Mabel. It's time! Ask him out on a date!' -Mabel thought and then she talked to him again. - "So, hey! You want to go dry off, maybe hit the snack bar or…" -
He interrupted her. - "I… I'm afraid I cannot… For I have a terrible secret!" -He took a moment. - "I must go." -He swam away from her.
- "I'm upset." -Mabel was really disappointed. - "Yet intrigued." -He recovered her cheerful way.
- "You just won't give up. Do you?" -Pollen asked her, she was hiding in her hair.
- "Never!" -Mabel answered her and Pollen sighed.
Meanwhile, Dipper went to talk to Mr. Poolcheck. - "And that is why I think I'd make a good lifeguard assistant." -He finished his explanation.
- Mr. Poolcheck didn't say anything, he just kneeled in front of Dipper and sniffed him. - "Hmm… SPF 100, good. I like you. But this isn't an easy job. It's anarchy out there." -He pointed at the peaceful and quiet pool, full of people enjoying their time.
- "I think I can handle it." -Dipper said.
- "Can you handle THIS?!" -Mr. Poolcheck handed him his… hand. A prosthesis. - "I lost my hand to a pool filter." -He put his prosthesis back on its place. - "The pool seems friendly, but she can turn on you in an instant, which is why you must respect her rules. Do you think you have what it takes boy? DO YOU?!" -Mr. Poolcheck was very intense and serious, took Dipper by his sides and shook him a little.
Dipper looked at Wendy, who was giving him a thump up.
- "Sure. I guess." -He said with some confidence.

At the same time Stan and Soos were looking for a lawn chair and when they found it, Stan talked to Soos. - "There she is Soos. Equidistant from the snack bar and the bathroom. Just the right amount of sun and shade, and point it away from where Old McGucket lotions himself. The perfect lawn chair." -
- "The legends you told me in the car were true." -Soos was dazzled.
- "I just can´t believe it wasn't already taken. And now to sit on it, thereby claiming it as my own." -He was about to get comfortable but was stopped by a pair of little and cold feet. - "WWWHHHAAATTT?!" -He yelled.
- "Oh! Hello Stanford." -Gideon Grey said smirking at him.
- "GIDEON! GET OUT OF MY CHAIR KID!" -Stan demanded.
- "Oh my… Was this your chair? I had no idea… Yes, I did Stan… I knew." -Gideon just mocked and got comfortable on the chair.
- "Move it you little troll." -Stan warned him.
- "First come, first serve." -Gideon mocked even more and rolled on the chair.
- "I'll first serve you!" -Stan was pissed off enough and grabbed Gideon by his swim trunk. Then they heard a whistle and Stan was jailed in the pool jail.
- "Come on Wendy! You can't do this to an old man." -He begged her.
- "Sorry Stan. It's not up to me… haha… Actually, it is." -
- "Hey Wendy! I got the job!" -Dipper came running.
- "Sweet! Want to go abuse our power?" -She asked him.
- "But what if Poolcheck catches us? He seems emotionally unstable." -He asked her a little worried.
Mr. Poolcheck was looking around the pool with a very unfriendly look.
- "Nah! Don't worry man! You just got to be sneaky about your rule breaking. Race you to the no running zone!" -Wendy said and started running, followed by him, but he slowed down when he noticed that Mr. Poolcheck was looking at him.
- "Coward!" -He heard Plagg under his hat.
- "What's the matter Dipper? Can't you handle the pressure?" -Pacifica asked him. She got to him from behind.
- "Why are you so upset?" -He asked her sincerely.
- "Well… You are here, you got a job here and now you'll have to come here every day." -
- Why does that bother you?" -
- "Because that way, either of you will come to my house to swim in my pool!" -She let out all her frustration.
- "Do you have a pool?" -He asked her not believing her and she rolled her eyes.
- "Dipper. I'm the richest girl in town. I live in a mansion. I have horses for pets and even a safe house under the mansion. Of course I have A FREAKING POOL!" -She yelled the last part.
- "Sorry Pacifica. I guess we were really excited about coming here and didn't think about it. Not even to ask you about it." -
- "I wanted to invite you to a little pool party. But you just left me stranded at the Shack." -She whimpered a little.
- "I'm really sorry Pacifica. We still can fix this, right? Let's have some fun here. We still have plenty of summer days to go to your house and have fun all over there, including the pool." -He tried to cheer her up.
- "It's not that easy Dipper. My parents are extremely careful and overprotective. It was quite hard to convince them to let me invite you to a pool party, let alone let you get into the mansion." -She explained.
- "Well. Next time take us with you. Mabel is very persuasive and insistent, just look at her going after her new crush. Wanna have fun looking at her?" -He smirked.
She looked at him with some disgust. - "Are you really going to make fun of her like that?! She's just trying to get that boy's attention! That's not something to make fun of." -She got angry.
- "Whoa! Calm down Pacifica. That's not what I meant. But still, Mabel is, you know, Mabel. Even if I don't want to make fun of her, it's impossible not to do so. Just watch. She's going to him again, look." -Dipper said and they both looked at Mabel.

Mabel was… well… the right word is stalking the guy. She again came up from below the water beside him. - "Hi there! I bought you a sandwich! It's sort of wet, but it's still good." -She had the sandwich under the water and place it in front of him. - "I like sharing things. Sandwiches, secrets… Share your secret beautiful stranger." -
- "That sandwich does look delicious…" -He decided to talk to her. - "Very well. But you must never tell another living soul my terrible secret." -He warned her and she nodded at him. - "You have to stay away from me because I am… a merman." -HE confessed and showed her his fish tail.
Mabel wasn't even surprised; she was relieved instead. - "Oh ho! Thank goodness! I thought you were going to say you had a girlfriend." -She laughed. - "A merman. Ha! I should've known for your strange foreign fish language." -
- "It is Spanish." -He said simply.
- "Your voice is so deep and masculine. How old are you?" -
- "I am twelve years old. Merman's voices change when we are like three." -
- "So, what's your name?" -
- "There are some who call me… Mermando." -He accompanied his introduction with some guitar cords. - "This is because Mermando is my name." -
- "But I don't understand Mermando. What's a guy like you doing in a public pool?" -
- "It is a tragic story, Mabel." -He told her how he ended up in the pool. From when he was caught in the Gulf of Mexico, transported to Gravity Falls, and his failed attempts to get back to the ocean, and how he fell into the pool. - "Now that you know what I am, you must be seriously weirded out." -
- "WHAT?! I don't care that you're a merman! You're like the coolest guy I've ever met. And you can play at least one cord on the guitar." -Mabel said cheerfully.
- "Oh Mabel! I have never met another human like you. Would you care to join me in the game of the Marco Polo?" -
- "Oh yes Mermando! Yes!" -She grabbed him by his cheeks.
- "You're covering my gills. I cannot breathe." -He warned her.
- "Haha! Weird." -
Pacifica saw all that and sighed in disappointment. - "Now she won't want to go to my house either." -She mumbled.
- "Don't worry Pacifica. Dipper's right. There are plenty of days on the summer yet. You'll have another chance." -Tikki said, she was hiding on her hair.
- "I… sigh… I know. Well, there's not much to do now, except for enjoy the day, right?" -She asked her.
- "That's my girl!" -Tikki encouraged her and Pacifica went to the snack bar and saw Stan hiding behind the lifeguard spot. She saw how Stan tried to reflect the sunlight to Gideon, she rolled her eyes and looked at the snacks' menu, when she was about to order she heard Stan yell in pain and fall on the pool and laughed. She ordered a soda and a sandwich and while waiting, she saw how Dipper and Wendy played a prank on Soos. That made her laugh too, but not that much. Seeing Dipper and Wendy being so friendly still bothered her a little, but she didn't know why yet.
She got her order when Mr. Poolcheck made a round to the pool telling people that it was already closed and everyone had to get out. She left with her food.
- "Assistant lifeguard!" -Poolcheck called Dipper and he stopped on his tracks. - "Have a good night son." -He said kindly and took off his prosthesis. - "Lock up the supplies for me." -He gave him the keys and Dipper did as he was told.
Meanwhile, Mabel was still playing with Mermando, combing each other's hair when they heard the whistle.
- "The pool! She closes. Can I see you tonight?" -Said Mermando.
- "Sure! Where? Wanna go for a walk?" -She asked him without thinking.
- "Merman… I am a merman." -He repeated with some annoyance.
- "Oh right! Then I'll be back tonight." -She said while leaving the pool.

That night Mabel went back to the pool in the golf cart and trespassed the pool's area. She met with Marmando.
- "Look, here's a scrapbook of human stuff." -She showed him the scrapbook. - "Here's me standing with my legs. And here I am kicking Dipper in his legs! He couldn't move his legs after that! Can you imagine? Not having legs!" -Mabel was having fun showing him the pictures, but Mermando wasn't.
Mabel could feel some taps on her head, like if something very tiny was kicking her to make her stop, but she ignored it.
- "Let's skip this part." -Mermando requested.
- "And here's my whole family kickboxing." -Mabel showed him another picture and he sighed and swam away.
- "What's wrong?" -She asked him going to him.
- "I too used to have a family once. Back in the ocean. How I miss them!" -He took a shell where he kept a picture of his family.
- "Mermando, why don't you just leave the pool?" -Mabel asked him.
- "I tried only once. But escaping this pool required a plan that was bold and daring." -He told her about his failed attempt. - "And then, the wolves came. No! I am glad that I am here because I met you." -He was daydreaming while Mabel was having an epiphany.
- 'This is it, Mabel! First kiss moment. Here it come, just go for it." -She wanted to kiss him. She tried to kiss him.
- "What are you doing with your mouth?" -Mermando asked her.
- "ME! Nothing! This! I was just eating some sour candy, so my lips were doing that, cause the candy was so sour." -She explained hastily.
- "Can I have some candy?" -He asked her in a friendly manner.
- "No." -She answered plainly.

The next day, people gathered again at the pool to have fun. Dipper and Wendy were still playing pranks on people.
- "Dude! With this job. You and me are going to be having fun all summer!" -Wendy was having a great time.
- "All summer?" -Dipper blushed.
They heard a whistle and looked at Mr. Poolcheck. - "PINES! HERE! NOW!" -He ordered him and Dipper went to him. - "You gave me your word, that you would respect the sacred rules, of this municipal's pool!" -He scolded Dipper.
- "Mr. Poolcheck. Are you crying?" -Dipper asked him noticing his tears.
- "That's not important right now! Sniff… You're on thin ice boy! You want to keep this job? Well… Some maniac broke into the supply closet last night and destroyed our one and only pool skimmer! I want you on stake out! If one more supply gets taken, YOU'RE FIRED!" -He threatened him.
- "I won't let you down." -Dipper said firmly and Mr. Poolcheck left.
- "Wow! That was intense!" -Pacifica said, startling Dipper.
- "Whoa! What are you doing here? Why aren't you on your own pool today?" -He asked her.
- "I don't know. I'm not sure. I just came here again. I guess it's too boring to be completely alone in a pool party." -She looked away while blushing. Dipper was too close to her.
- "Yeah! Sorry again. I promise we'll make it up to you." -He smiled sheepishly at her, blushing a little.
Pacifica didn't know why, but she couldn't stay angry at Dipper for too long. She smiled back and nodded at him. They stayed there for a while.
Meanwhile Mabel was playing with Mermando again, this time with a beach ball. - "Mermando get ready. I'm going to bring the heat!" -She slapped the ball and it hit him straight on the face. - "Mermando, are you ok?" -She asked him. - "Oh! It's your family, isn't it? Are you thinking about them?" -She asked him and he made some sad dolphin sounds. - "Mermando, enough is enough! I care about you too much to see you like this. We're going to bust you out of here and get you back to your family!" -Mabel was determined.
- "But Mabel. Escape is impossible!" -
- "Don't worry! I know someone that can help. We're breaking you out of here tonight!" -She said firmly and threw a fist on the water, splashing both of them. - "Ooppss! Sorry about that. Water." -

That night. Dipper stayed at the pool. Guarding it. - "All right Dipper, here's the plan. Catch the trespasser, protect the supplies, keep job at pool and eventually marry Wendy." -He said.
- "Great plan!" -Plagg said coming out and taking a long and deep breathe. - "Ah! Fresh air! Seriously dude, you should consider to wash your clothes from time to time." -He said and Dipper rolled his eyes. - "By the way, are you sure this is a good idea? I mean, you're twelve years old and are guarding a whole building on your own. Wouldn't be better to… you know… ask me for some help?" -
- "Do you want to help me watching this place?" -Dipper lifted an eyebrow.
- "Well… not me, me. I mean Black Cat. It would be a lot easier for him to watch the whole pool by himself." -
Dipper thought about it but was interrupted by a sound, Plagg hid under his hat immediately. - "FREEZE!" -He ordered pointing his flashlight to the sound's source. - "Gruncle Stan?" -He asked him when he caught him cutting the wire fence with some pliers.
- "I uh… I'm sleepwalking. Also, now I'm sleep talking. Nice hat by the way." -He praised Dipper's 'night patrol' hat.
- "You! You're the one destroying pool supplies." -
- "What?! No! my crime is a lot better than that. I'm gonna get that seat and be ready in the morning when Gideon comes. Then maybe I'll destroy some pool supplies. Night's still young." -Stan said and Dipper whistled loudly. - "Geez, all right! I'm going!" -Stan stepped back but then ran towards the lawn chair, Dipper chased him.
Meanwhile, Queen Bee came into the pool.
- "Mabel?!" -Mermando asked when he noticed someone going to him.
- "No, I'm a friend of her, she asked me to come here to rescue you. You'll meet her at the shore." -She explained and used her spinning's top to open the supplies locker door. - "Are you ready to see your family?" -She asked her.
- "Yes! But, how can I, a merman possibly escape? And who are you?" -He asked her.
- "My name's Queen Bee. And Mabel gave me a few ideas. Like tape together a bunch of fish sticks to make you a prosthetic pair of people legs. But I realized I could just transport you in this cooler." -
Mermando tried to get into the water filled cooler and had some troubles doing so but he managed to get into it.
- "Hey! Who's there?" -They heard someone and turned to meet Ladybug standing in front of them.
- "L… Ladybug? What are you doing here?" -Queen Bee asked her.
- "I was patrolling and heard a fuzz coming from here, what are you doing?" -
- "I'm on a rescue mission." -She showed her Mermando in the cooler and Ladybug was really surprised.
- "Hi." -Mermando greeted Ladybug.
- "Is… Is him… a… a…" -Ladybug stuttered.
- "A merman? Yes, he is. I'm doing a favor to a friend and taking him to the lake so he can go back to the ocean from there." -Queen Bee explained and put the top on the cooler.
- "Sigh… As noble as this is, you can't just take pool supplies to do it. That's stealing." -
- "But what if I bring them back later?" -
- "It's still wrong." -Ladybug put an arm on her shoulder.
- "I guess you're right. Look! A new miraculous!" -Queen Bee pointed back and distracted her. Then she took the cooler and ran away.
- "What?! Here?!" -Ladybug turned around and grunted when she realized she was fooled. - "Grrr… Queen Bee! Get back here!" -Ladybug ran after her.
After chasing Stan for a while and catching Soos trying to trespass into the pool, Dipper sent him back home and wondered why is people trying to trespass, he was going back to fix the hole Stan made on the fence and could see Ladybug and Queen Bee at the distance. He saw how Queen Bee grabbed a cooler and ran away from Ladybug and she yelling at her and sighed.
- "So…" -Plagg said smirking at him.
- "Sigh… Plagg, claws on." -Dipper said with animosity and transformed. Then Black Cat chased Ladybug, who was chasing Queen Bee.
Queen Bee carried the cooler through the town, with Ladybug and Black cat chasing her closely.
- "We're going to get you home!" -She assured Mermando.
- "Hand over the pool supplies in the name of pool law!" -Ladybug yelled at her.
- "Pool law sucks!" -Queen Bee yelled back.
- "Cataclysm!" -Black Cat said and jumped up, he fell in front of Queen Bee and tried to use his power over the cooler but Queen Bee managed to kick a stone and put it in front of his hand. He touched the cooler's valve and the stone at the same time. Both things turned into dust. Without a valve, the cooler now had a leak.
- "Ugh! I cannot breathe! You must hurry!" -Mermando yelled desperately.
- "Did that thing UGH!" -Black Cat was interrupted by Queen Bee's round kick on his gut, flying away from them.
- "Sorry!" -Queen Bee yelled at him and kept running to the lake.
Then she tripped and fell down, letting go the cooler. She realized that Ladybug's yo-yo was tied up on her ankle.
- "Sorry Queen Bee. But I have to stop you." -Ladybug got closer while Queen Bee tried to untie the yo-yo.
- "You don't get it! This merman just wants to go home, with his family." -Queen Bee cried.
- "I know. But that doesn't allow you to steal and damage public or private property." -She extended her hand to her.
- "I'm sorry Ladybug." -She took her hand.
- "It's ok Queen Bee. You haven't done anything too bad, yet." -
- "That's right, YET!" -She grabbed Ladybug and threw her away with a back flip, then got up with her spin top in hand, but Black Cat rod hit her and made her release it. Both spin top and rod fell to the ground and when she tried to pick up the spinning top, she had to jump back to avoid Black Cat claws.
- "This ends NOW Queen Bee!" -He seemed pretty mad.
- "Not yet Black Cat! I have to do this!" -she charged at him and they started to fight each other. Ladybug came running and saw them fighting. She didn't like to see their friends fighting.
- "Lucky charm!" -She summoned her power. - "A bottle of water?! What the…"- She looked around and noticed the bottle, Black Cat, and the cooler. She ran to them.
- "YOU TWO! STOP IT!" -She demanded them but just Black Cat turned to her.
- "Why?!" -He asked her. Queen Bee used this chance and punched him straight on his face. That didn't send him away and he grabbed her hand and looked at her straight in the eyes. She begged him with her eyes. But it didn't work, he turned around and lifted her over his shoulder and threw her away.
- "Why did you do that?!" -Ladybug asked him angrily while seeing Queen Bee flying away into the forest.
- "WHAT'S IN THE COOLER?!" -He asked back, yelling in anger, which made her back off a little.
- "I… I'm not sure." -She answered him.
- "Then I'm taking it back where it belongs." -He went for it, not looking at her, neither listening what she tried to say.
- "No! Stop!" -They heard a voice and turned around. They saw a girl running to them, it was Mabel.
- "Isn't it too early in the morning for you to be awake girl?" -Ladybug asked her when she threw herself at the cooler to stop Black Cat from grabbing it.
- "All right! The jig is up! Hand over that cooler!" -Black Cat ordered her.
- "NEVER!" -
- "Why not?! Why do you even need it?!" -
- "I need the cooler to save my new friend because he needs to go home and he's really nice and we combed each other's hair and he needs to be in the cooler because he needs water because he's a merman!" -Mabel explained and opened the cooler, letting Mermando out.
- "Hola." -Mermando greeted both heroes.
- "Wow! Way to bury the lip girl." -Black Cat was astonished.
- "Black Cat, Ladybug, Mermando the merman. He's a merman." -
- "Nice to meet you. Also, I think I am dying." -Mermando was choking. - "Agua! Yo necesito!" -He begged while turning blue.
- "Oh no! Mermando! Where is Dipper or Wendy? they´re lifeguards! They could give him CPR!" -
- "Don't worry, I know CPR!" -Ladybug said kneeling beside Mermando.
- "Merman don't breathe air!" -Black Cat said with his arms crossed. He was still very upset.
- "Then give him reverse CPR!" -Mabel begged them.
They looked at each other And Ladybug took the bottle of water, took a sip of water and was about to try to 'kiss' Mermando.
- "Whoa! Whoa! Whoa!" -Black Cat stopped her and made her spit the water in her mouth.
- "What's wrong?! He's going to die!" -She replied at him and he took the bottle from her and took a sip of water and started to give Mermando CPR.
- "I hate this! I hate this!" -Black Cat said with every time he gave Mermando CPR.
Mabel took them a picture with her camera and laughed. - "Haha! Blackmail!" -She said and Ladybug gave her a thump up while holding her laughter.
Suddenly, Mermando reacted and woke up. - "Thank you for saving me but… why didn't you just roll me into the lake?" -He thanked and asked Black Cat, and he facepalmed when he realized it, along with Ladybug. They carried Mermando to the shore and released him. Mermando thanked them with Dolphin sounds and coughed a little. - "I am weak from coughing. How will I get my family to hear my call from the mighty depths of the ocean?" -
- "I got it!" -Mabel took a megaphone and tried to hand it to Mermando, but Black Cat was faster and snatched it from her.
- "Girl! This isn't yours. This is a pool supply. Someone could lose the job." -
- "Black Cat! Don't you know what it's like to fall for someone? Even though you know in your heart that it'll probably never work out. But you do anything for that person." -Mabel said and Black Cat thought about it, then looked at Ladybug, who looked back at him, she blinked a couple of times and nodded at him.
- "Sigh… Give Mermando the megaphone." -He handed it to her.
- "Thanks, Black Cat." -She said and handed it to Mermando.
- "Mabel! I've never met anyone like you." -
- "Same here! Except for a zombie, a gnome and a couple of cute vampires." -She counted.
- "When did you met the vampires?" -Black Cat and Ladybug asked her at the same time.
- "I don't tell everything to everyone." -She smiled at them and turned to Mermando again. - "Well, Mermando. I guess this is it." -
- "Not quite. This is." -Mermando said and kissed her on the lips. She accepted the kiss.
- "O…K… That's gross!" -Black Cat said and turned around to not see them.
- "Oh my gosh! It's so cute!" -Ladybug said fangirling for them.
After the kiss Mabel was very excited. - "Wo ho ho! That was my first kiss! Hey! It was also kind of your first kiss too! Ah?" -She poked Black Cat and he shivered.
- "Please don't involve me in this."-He told her and Ladybug took his hand and pulled him with her while Mabel and Mermando gave their final goodbyes to each other.
- "And please, say thanks to Queen Bee for me!" -Mermando said.
- "You did the right thing Black Cat." -She praised him.
- "Yeah! Yeah!" -He said.
- "Miraculous Ladybug!" -Ladybug said and threw the bottle of water. Her power fixed everything.
Ladybug and Black Cat were running out of time so they left and Mabel stayed at the shore alone, she ran to the edge and made a pose while Mermando jumped over her.
- "I've always wanted to do that!" -She said and finally left.

Back in the pool, everything seemed normal, all the damage done was fixed thanks to Ladybug's power, but at some point, Mr. Poolcheck noticed the missing supplies.
- "A missing megaphone, a cooler and the cart?! Who is responsible for this?! -He asked Dipper with an anger look.
- "My fault sir, I'm sorry. I got in too deep." -Dipper took responsibility for everything.
- "Hand over the whistle, boy!" -Mr Poolcheck ordered him and Dipper did as he was told. To his surprise and disgust, Mr. Poolcheck, literally, ate the whistle and Dipper backed off. - "If one more thing goes wrong today…" -He said and then, Soos came holding many inflatable ducks and threw them over the fence. - "YOU!" -Mr. Poolcheck yelled at him and started to chase him.
Dipper was depressed and suddenly, a water balloon hit him on the face.
Wendy came to him. - "Hey doofus! You'll never guess what happened. I just got fired." -
- "What? Really?" -He asked her.
- "Yeah! I guess Poolcheck found out I was taking too many snacks." -She told him.
- "How many?" -He asked her and she lifted her hat to show him a few bags of chips.
- "Hey, wanna to break rules somewhere else?" -
- "Of course I'd love to, but I'm in debt with Pacifica right now. Wanna come?" -
- "Yeah! Sure!" -They met with Pacifica and Mabel, because Mabel looked for her to tell her about her first kiss. Pacifica seemed quite excited to hear that story.
- "Hey Pacifica! Is your pool still available?" -He asked her and Pacifica's eyes sparkled at that.
- "YES! YES, IT IS!" -She answered and all of them headed to Pacifica's house to have fun at her pool.
There, at some point, Mabel got some messages in bottles. They were from Mermando, thanking her again for her help. That made her happy.
They were having fun and at some point, when they were eating some snacks and chatting, Pacifica said giggling. - "I'd love to have my first kiss too." -The girls laughed while Dipper rolled his eyes, unaware to them, Pacifica's parents heard her and while her mom giggled, her dad gulped and his eyes focused for a moment on Dipper, he smirked a little 'She's growing so fast!' he thought.
Inside the mansion. Plagg, Tikki and Pollen had their own reunion in a dark and empty room.
- "What's going on?" -Tikki asked them.
- "What do you mean?" -Pollen asked back.
- "I mean… Gnomes? Zombies? Vampires? And now a merman?!" -
- "Don't forget about the manotaurs, the time travels, the ghosts and the summerween monster." -Plagg said with his arms crossed.
- "And the akuma." -Pollen said without thinking, making Plagg facepalm and Tikki sniff in sadness. She seemed to be about to cry.
- "Hey! Hey! Don't worry, we'll find her." -Plagg went to hug her and sooth her. She leaned her head on him. After a few minutes, Tikki composed herself.
- "Sorry sis… I didn't mean it." -Pollen apologized.
- "It's ok Pollen, I know." -Tikki assured her. - "But now, we need to find out what's going on before something really bad happens. Last time so many paranormal stuffs happened was when…" -She didn't finish, but Tikki and Pollen nodded at her. - "By the way, I didn't know Dipper could be that aggressive. I mean, fight Queen Bee and yell at us like that, that was…" -
- "That wasn't Dipper, that was me. I was really pissed off then. They're supposed to be a team, but if they start to fight, they'll break and that will be a problem if things get uglier." -Plagg explained.
- "WHAT?!" -Both kwamis yelled, startling him.
- "Have you any idea how scared we were when you yelled at us?" -Tikki asked him.
- "That fall really hurt! Even when we controlled it. It still hurt us." -Pollen claimed next.
Plagg backed off a little but composed himself. - "Do you really think that kick didn't hurt?" -He asked Pollen, who blushed in embarrassment. - "And we thought you were helping them with something nasty!" -He turned to Tikki. - "We didn't know it was a rescue mission. We just assumed you were stealing stuff from the pool." -He explained and both kwamis backed off.
Tikki sighed. - "I'm sorry Plagg, I didn't know you didn't know." -She apologized.
- "And I'm sorry for the kick." -Pollen apologized too.
- "It's ok. I'm sorry for throwing and yell at you." -Plagg apologized too and hugged them both. - "But Tikki is right. We need to find out why are all these things happening, the sooner the better." -He said seriously and they nodded. They went back to their bearers who didn't realize their kwamis weren't with them due to all the fun they had. Before parting ways, Tikki and Plagg shared a little kiss.
