Stan was looking through paperwork for the building, seeing that it was all in order. He sighed quietly as he looked and saw everyone sleeping.
After solving another case, our heroes are getting some well deserved rest. However, Stan doesn't seem to be sleeping yet. Is there something bothering him, or is he just not sleepy?
Stan then stretched and felt something soft on his lap. He looked and saw Fennekin staring at him.
"Fenne?" She asked.
"I'm alright, Fennekin." Stan said. Fennekin then curled up in his lap and laid down, falling asleep. Stan gave a soft smile before seeing Froakie on his right.
"Kie Froakie Froakie Fro-Froakie-kie." Froakie said.

Ash and the others woke up and saw Stan filling out a form.
"Were you doing paperwork all night?!" Serena asked.

"Being an agent-in-charge must be hard." Ash said.

"I'm just glad we can relax a bit." Bonnie said. Stan's phone then rang.
"Spoke too soon, Bonnie." Serena said. Stan then answered the call.
"Reagan." Stan answered.
Location: Lumiose City, Route 4 Entrance
Time: 0810 Hours (8:10 AM)
Stan and the others walked towards the scene as Officers stood guard.
"Halt! Authorized personnel only!" One said.
"Five-0." Stan said, showing his badge. The Officers stood aside and allowed Stan and the others to enter. Stan saw the Medical Examiner and approached, kneeling down.
"Ah," they said, "Agent Reagan. A pleasure to see you again. Wish it were under better circumstances."
"Same here. What do we got?" Stan asked.
"Victim is male, age around 12. Preliminary cause of death is unknown. I'll know more after I perform an autopsy." They said.
"Unis find any ID?" Stan asked.
"Nope. Looks like he might have been living off the grid." The ME said.
"Alright. Clemont, start canvassing the area. Ash, talk to the unis. Serena and Bonnie, keep the media back. Everyone else is on crowd control." Stan said. They all listened and Stan stayed near the ME.
"Wish my guys would be like that." The ME said.
"I haven't even trained them yet. They're just following my lead." Stan said. The ME was even more shocked, but understood and nodded. Ash then approached two Lumiose City Police Officers and they were shocked.
"I'm gonna need some information from you guys. It'll help our investigation." Ash said.
"O-of course, sir! W-what do you need to know?" One asked.
"Did your forensics techs collect any evidence from the scene before we arrived?" Ash asked.
"Yes, sir. Everything was bagged and tagged. Would you like for us to have them inform Agent Reagan when they have results?" The other asked.
"That would be helpful. Did you guys find anything on your canvas?" Ash asked.
"Unfortunately, no. We didn't turn anything up. No one saw, or heard, anything." The first said.
"Around what time did you arrive on the scene?" Ash asked.
"The first unit arrived at 0400 (4:00 AM). The victim was lying on the ground," the second one spoke, "face down, and the unit called for EMS after he never responded. EMS arrived at around 0530 (5:30 AM) and attempted to resuscitate them, but to no avail. They were pronounced dead at 0600 (6:00 AM), and further units were called to block the scene off. Forensics arrived at 0750 (7:50 AM) and started collecting evidence for the case on Major Crimes' orders. That is, until the PC said that Five-0 would be investigating the case. Major Crimes has a full case load already. They don't have the proper staff to handle these types of cases right now. They have over 500 unsolved cases that they need to focus on."
"I see. This information will be helpful. Thank you." Ash said.
"One more thing. I'm curious about something." The first one said, looking around.
"What is it?" Ash asked. The Officer approached and spoke low so the media wouldn't hear.
"Why would you agree to become part of Five-0? You're the World Monarch and Alola League champion. Why settle for this job when you can train your Pokémon and challenge the leagues you lost?" They asked, whispering.
"Because I'm not ready for that yet. If I challenge the leagues I lost again," Ash said, "I want to have someone to share it with. Someone special to me in my heart. I haven't found that someone yet, but I might have an idea on who it is." The Officer nodded and Ash walked off. As he did so, he saw something in a bush. He went to it and pulled out a handkerchief, picking it up. He looked at the item and gasped.

"Stan," he said, "you need to see this. I found it in the bushes." Stan looked at what Ash had and went on alert.

"Forensics must have missed it." Ash said.

"This just changed the course of our investigation, didn't it?" Ash asked.
"That it did. You catch on quick." Stan said. Clemont then approached and looked serious.
"Canvas came up nothing." Clemont said.
"LCPD had no better luck." Ash said. Bonnie then approached.
"Stan," she said, "you need to hear this." Stan stood up and followed Bonnie to one of the newscasters.
'I hope this is just information.' Stan thought.
"Now," Bonnie said, "tell him what you told me."
"There were rumors of a group looking for mega stones," the reporter said, "and they claim to have found an extremely rare Charizardite Z. They also claim to have acquired an unrefined Key Stone, and are looking for someone to refine it for use. Do you think this could be connected to your investigation?"
"Doing your job whilst giving information. Clever, but not necessary." Stan said. The cameraman let out a chuckle.
"Now I feel humiliated." The reporter said.
"To answer your question," Stan said, "it's unconfirmed if this investigation is related to what you've said. However, we'll be looking into it for a possible connection. We've just discovered something at the scene that may or may not be connected. The moment we know more, we'll arrange a press conference. That's all for now."
Location: Lumiose City Police Forensics Lab
Time: 0929 Hours (9:29AM)
Stan and the others were looking around, Bonnie taking everything in. Someone then approached and Stan went serious.
"Can I help you?" The person asked.
"Five-0," Stan said, showing his badge, "I need to speak to the supervisor."
"I take it you're here about the Route 4 victim. Autopsy's down below." The person said.
"We also found this at the scene. It was in the bushes." Stan said, holding out what Ash found. The person gasped and took it.
"We'll do a full test on it. We'll have the results for you shortly." The person said. Stan nodded and the person went away.
"What's the plan?" Clemont asked.
"We start your training. Clemont will get the information about the various tests and machines they use before joining the rest of us in the morgue for the autopsy." Stan said.
"Wait," Serena spoke, "we have to watch?!"
"If you have a weak stomach," Stan said, "you can sit out."
"It's not that," Serena said, "but… why do we have to watch?"
"Because some crime scenes will be bloody," Stan said, "and there's a chance that their organs might be outside of their body. You'll need to be prepared for that." Everyone understood and nodded.
"I can access everything with my latest invention." Clemont said.
"Oh," a tech said, "you guys must be with Five-0! The supervisor is in the morgue and waiting on the ME. He'll be able to give you access to our database for your HQ." The tech walked off and Clemont went dejected.

"Let's go." Stan said.
"Wait," Serena said, "where's Mallow and the others?"
"They went back to Alola to establish a field office. Lillie's mom, Lusamine, is the leader of Aether Paradise." Stan said.

"That can come later. For now," Stan said, "we should be focusing on the case at hand. Let's get to autopsy." They all nodded and followed Stan to the morgue. Once there, they saw the Forensics Supervisor with the ME. The two looked at Stan and went serious.
"Agent Reagan," the supervisor said, "I'm the Forensics Supervisor, Phil Grissem."
"Pleasure to meet you. Have you started the autopsy yet?" Stan asked.
"Not yet. We were waiting for you." The ME said.
"Good. These are Agents-in-Training. We'd like to observe the autopsy." Stan said. The ME recognized Serena and gasped.

"There might be words on it. I'll have some techs analyze it." The supervisor said.

"That's the logo for the Lumiose City Gym!" She said.

"They're being processed for evidence. They did find a Badge Case amongst them. Both the Rumble and Voltage Badges were missing." The supervisor said.
"Those two badges will allow you to control a Charizard and use Mega Evolution with it." Ash said, remembering what he learned in the Kalos League.
"Guess we have a connection to what that reporter said." Serena spoke.
"That we do. Clemont," Stan said, "contact the Pokémon League Association. See if they know about this group who found a Charizardite Z. Check with Professor Sycamore and the Mega Evolution Guru, too. Bonnie, go with him, and DON'T use this as an opportunity to find a girlfriend for him. "Understood." The two said.
"Ash, Serena," Stan said, "you're with me. We're going to talk to the performers about this. I also need to give those forms to Palermo."

Stan, Ash, and Serena were walking to the back when Palermo approached them.
"Agent Reagan," she said, "I trust this is about those forms I gave you." Stan held the forms out to her and she took them.
"We're also here on another matter." Stan said.
"The murder at the Route 4 entrance. It's all over the news. I take it you found a connection between the victim and this group that reporter spoke of?" Palermo asked.
"We did. The victim was missing the Voltage and Rumble Badges from their Badge Case." Ash said.
"I see. That is a big connection. Very well. I'll go and file these forms with the appropriate officials. Would you happen to have an updated Trainer ID?" Palermo asked.
"That's the next thing I was going to do. However," Stan said, "the case takes priority right now. Do we have permission to enter backstage?"
"Of course. Just be mindful of the other performers." Palermo said. She walked away and Stan looked at Ash and Serena.
"You heard her. This isn't like last time. We need to be careful." Stan said. They nodded and the three went backstage.

"Agreed." Gladion and Lusamine said. No sooner did she say that, Clemont was calling them. Lusamine answered and Clemont looked serious.
"Sorry if I woke you three." Clemont said.
"We weren't sleeping." Lillie said.
"Is everything alright?" Lusamine asked.
"Not exactly. Have you guys heard of any groups who claim to have found a Charizardite Z?" Clemont asked.
"A Charizardite Z?! That's EXTREMELY rare!" Gladion said.
"The only group I know of who could possibly have one would be Korrina and Guurkin." Lusamine said.
"I already spoke with them. They said it was stolen years ago." Clemont said.
"Did Shalour City Police catch who did it?" Lillie asked.
"No," Clemont said, "the case went cold, and they lost the files in a bombing."
"Damn." Gladion said.
"We'll look into it from our end." Lusamine said.
"Alright. Keep us posted." Clemont said.
"Oh," Lillie said, "did Stan ever get Five-0 Headquarters active?"
"He's still working on that. You'll be informed of any changes." Clemont said, ending the call afterwards.

"Unknown. I'm about to run their face through a facial recognition software to try and get an ID." Clemont said.
"I see. How long does it take?" Goh asked.
"Depends on the database." Clemont said. Clemont then uploaded the photo and ran it through a database of Pokémon Trainers.
"My dad has our daughter back in Vermillion City. We're here to help." Chloe said.
"We could use some help in looking for this group that might be connected." Clemont said. Ash then called Clemont, who answered immediately and put the phone on speaker.
"Ash," Goh said, "Chloe and I are here to help. What do ya got?"
"The group who took the Charizardite Z is Team Star based out of Paldea. They're looking to use it to attack Uva Academy in Mesagoza." Ash said. The software then made a sound and Clemont looked.
"Got a name. Our victim is Alan Finch, age 12. He was a student at Uva Academy!" Clemont said.
"That changes everything." Ash said.
"We'd best tell Stan." Serena said, her head and body being out of the way.
"I'll check to see if the victim had any next of kin." Clemont said.
"We'll notify them once we know." Goh said.
"Good call." Ash said.
"We'll keep you posted." Clemont said, hanging up.
Location: Showcase Arena, Aria's Dressing Room
Time: 1240 Hours (12:40 PM)
Stan was looking over everything before looking at Palermo, who had shown up 10 minutes prior.
"So the Kalos Region Government will be paying for all this?" Stan asked.
"They will." Palermo said.
"Takes some pressure off me." Stan said. Delphox then walked in with Ash and Serena.
"Got a name on the victim," Ash said, "and a solid lead."
"The victim is Alan Finch, age 12, out of Paldea. He was a student at Uva Academy on leave for their annual Treasure Hunt." Serena said.
"I think we planned a visit to Paldea for a performance at Naranja Academy in Mesagoza." Aria said.
"That's where Uva Academy is, too." Serena said.
"What's the lead you found?" Stan asked.
"The group with the Charizardite Z is Team Star." Ash said.
"Team Star?!" Palermo asked.
"You've heard of them?" Serena asked.
"They threatened to kill Aria if she didn't join!" Palermo said.
"They did WHAT?!" Stan asked.
"Now it's personal." Serena said, her expression serious.
"I'll secure transportation to Paldea for you guys." Palermo said.
"That would be appreciated." Stan said. Stan then got a call from Lusamine.
'Why is she calling me?' Stan thought. He then answered the call.
"Reagan." Stan said.
"I believe I found the perfect place for a Five-0 Field Office in Alola. There's an abandoned Air Force base that was due to be demolished." Lusamine said.
"Alright. Get them started on refurbishing it so it can be used." Stan said.
"We also have a spare jet that you can use for your agency. It's currently at Lumiose International for you." Lusamine said.
"Good. We can use that to get to Paldea." Stan said. The call then ended and Ash nodded.
"I'll tell the others." He said.
"We're wheels up in 20." Stan said.
Location: Paldea Region Airspace, 500 Miles from Mezagoza International Airport
Time: 0320 Hours (3:20 AM)
Stan was looking at a file as Clemont spoke.
"Team Star was formed several years ago as a group to stop bullies from causing trouble. The key leaders are listed in the file." Clemont spoke.
"We'll have to speak to them about this." Ash said.
"I don't know about you guys," Bonnie said, "but I've got a bad feeling about this."
"You don't need to worry, Bonnie." Clemont said.
"She's not the only one. I've got a bad feeling about this, too." Serena said.
"Is it the fact they've threatened to cause harm to dozens of people and Pokémon?" Goh asked.
"It's more than that. Doesn't this seem familiar to you?" Serena asked. Stan then caught on and looked at Serena.
"The Lumiose Elementary Massacre." Stan said.
"Sweet Arceus." Ash said.
"It won't happen again." A voice said. Stan looked over and saw Aria and Palermo.
"You're doing the right thing." Palermo said.
"We need to be cautious about this." Stan said.
"We can update your Trainer ID when we land." Aria said.
"How far are we?" Bonnie asked. The plane's loudspeaker then came on.
"Ladies and gentlemen," the pilot said, "this is your Captain speaking. We're making our final descent into Mesagoza International at this time. Please prepare for landing."
"That answers that." Clemont said. The plane then proceeded to land and Stan watched as steps approached the door. The door then opened and someone in a suit stepped on.
"Stan Reagan?" They asked.
"Who might you be? International Police? Ranger Corps?" Stan asked.
"Mesagoza Police." The person said.
"What rank?" Stan asked.
"Inspector." The person said.
"Huh?" Bonnie asked.
"Another way of saying Detective." Ash said.
"Ah." Bonnie said.
"Anyways," Stan said, "what can I do for you?"
"Team Star has been on our radar for some time now. However," the Detective said, "none of their bases are in our jurisdiction. We're hoping you can find them and bring them down."
"Any leads?" Stan asked.
"I wouldn't know. We'll provide vehicles for you and your team." The Detective said.
"Thank you, Inspector." Stan said.
"Please keep us informed." The Detective said. They then stepped off and Stan looked at everyone and went serious.
"Stay sharp. We're not here to sightsee." He said. Everyone nodded and Stan walked off first. Everyone followed him and they saw two different vehicles.
"I'll drive one," Ash said, "and Stan can drive the other."
"Smart idea, Ash ." Stan said. They then split up into two groups and Ash nodded.
"We'll secure a place for us for the night." Ash said.
"We'll look for information on Team Star." Stan said.
"Where should we meet up?" Bonnie asked.
"The gates of Uva Academy. Once we get the right information," Stan said, "we'll form a plan of attack to take down Team Star. Until then, keep everything confidential."
"Right." The others said.
"I'll handle the hotel situation. You guys just focus on your case." Palermo said.
"You don't have to do that." Serena said.
"I'm choosing to." Palermo said.
"Alright. We'll split up. One half take North and West Mesagoza," Stan said, "the other half take South and East. You find any information, let everyone know." Aria then went to Stan and leaned towards his ear.
"I'll get you a key to my hotel room here, too." Aria whispered. Stan nodded and they all went their separate ways for the time being. Stan had Ash and Serena with him. Clemont, Bonnie, Goh, and Chloe were another group. The vehicles they were given to use were Dodge Durangos.
"I know I have my license," Stan said, "but does anyone else have theirs?"
"I have mine. I got it when I heard that Chloe was pregnant." Goh said.
"Alright. Let's roll." Stan said. Stan got in one while Goh got in the other. The vehicles were cranked up and they drove off. Stan then drove one way while Goh drove the other.
Location: Uva Academy, Front Gates
Time: 0520 Hours (5:20 AM)
Stan pulled up to the gates of the school and saw the lock was cut.
"That doesn't look good." Ash said. Stan pulled out his phone and dialed a number.
"This is Stan Reagan of Five-0. Potential break-in at Uva Academy. Send backup." Stan spoke. He ended the call and everyone got out. Stan then drew his pistol and Ash and Serena readied Poké Balls. Pikachu had stayed quiet the whole time, but understood everything. Stan took the lead and cleared the area before going to the school entrance. He saw the door open and looked to Ash, motioning for him to open the door further. Ash did just that and Stan cleared the lobby. He then heard something clatter in an office and looked towards it.
"What was that?" Serena whispered. Stan motioned for her to stay quiet and darted his eyes to a door. Ash and Serena looked before Pikachu saw a vent. He jumped up to it, going inside the vent, before crawling inside to get into the office. He stealthily used Iron Tail and cut the doorknob to let Stan, Ash, and Serena in. Stan saw another door open and moved stealthily to it, seeing someone inside holding a Key Stone.
"I knew this place had one! Can't wait to burn this place to the ground." The person said. Stan quietly entered the room and gave a glare.
"Federal agent. Put the Key Stone down and put your hands up." Stan said. The person looked and tensed up.
" ¡No hablo inglès!" The person said.
"You just spoke it!" Ash said.
" ¡¿Que?!" The person asked.
" Agente federal. Deja la piedra clave y levanta las manos." Stan spoke. The person was shocked, complying to what Stan said.
'Huh?' Ash thought.
" Giro de vuelta. Manos detrás de tu cabeza. Dedos entrelazados." Stan ordered. The person complied and Stan approached. He then put a hand on the person's hands and holstered his pistol before pulling out a set of cuffs and restraining the person. Serena then turned a light on and Ash glared.
"Looks like Team Star decided to infiltrate their target location." Ash said. The person glared before growling.
"Who are you? Ranger Corps? International Police?" The person asked. Stan, Ash, and Serena then showed their badges.
"Five-0." Stan said.
[Moments later….]
The Team Star Grunt was put into a marked police car by two uniformed officers as the Inspector from earlier had approached.
"You've done us a great service. Thank you." They said.
"You're welcome. Though," Stan said, "I think my team needs to be armed, too. Got any loaners for them?"
"I'll see what I can do." The Inspector said. Stan nodded as someone approached.
"Can someone explain what happened here?" They asked.
"Who might you be?" Stan asked.
"Director Clavell! I'm the Headmaster of this school!" The person said.
"Stan Reagan," Stan spoke, showing his badge, "Five-0. These are my associates, Ash and Serena. We're here on an investigation that started in Kalos. I regret to inform you that one of your students, Alan Finch, was found dead at the Route 4 entrance to Lumiose City. We've determined Team Star to be responsible, and discovered they had a plan to use a Charizardite Z to burn Uva Academy to the ground."
"What?!" Director Clavell asked.
"Do you know of anyone who would ask them to do this?" Ash asked.
"N-no. I…. I don't know of anyone." Director Clavell said.
"Do you know why Team Star would target this school specifically?" Serena asked.
"I don't. I wish I did." Director Clavell said.
"Does this school have a past history with Team Star?" Ash asked.
"Only in the sense they're students here." Director Clavell said.
"Do you happen to know where their bases are?" Stan asked.
"I have a list here. I've been meaning to send teachers out to these locations." Director Clavell said.
"We'll handle that. You just focus on getting the school set up." Stan said. Director Clavell then gave the list to Stan, who scanned it with his Rotom Phone. He then updated his map and sent the locations to the others.
"We're gonna need some tactical gear." Ash said.
"I believe we can help with that." A voice said. Stan looked and saw Palermo with Aria and Miette.
"Miette? Why are you in Paldea?" Ash asked.
"Better yet," Serena spoke, "how'd you GET to Paldea?!"
"I flew coach. I came up with a uniform design for Five-0. I was hoping you'd like to take a look at it." Miette said. She then held up a design and Stan was shocked.
"Huh? A polo shirt and pants?" Ash asked.
"This isn't a normal polo shirt. This is a TACTICAL polo shirt made from a moisture-wicking fabric," Miette said, "and it has two pen slots on the left sleeve. The pants are just there for reference. I included a sunglasses loop on the polo, too. The front will have Five-0's badge at the left breast area, and the back will have the words 'Five-0 Special Agent' in bold and all caps. You can even customize the color on the polo, should you choose to."
"We can wear any type of pants with the polo. Get that design to Valerie," Stan said, "and have her start on it. Palermo will provide you with a patch version of the badge. We'll need enough to give to the other Five-0 Agents."
"You got it." Miette said.
"We have some tactical armor for you all," the Inspector said, "as well as some weapons."
"Where are they?" Stan asked.
"Have your agents meet at the first Team Star base." The Inspector said.
"Our gear is there?" Ash asked.
"That's where you'll be GIVEN the gear." The Inspector said.
"Ah," Ash said, "okay."
"Anyways," Stan said, "what time should we meet?"
"We have a team waiting to raid the place." The Inspector said. Goh then called Stan and he answered.
"Stan," Goh said, "we got a lead. We just stopped a Team Star Grunt trying to break in to a shop that had a Key Stone. Mesagoza Police are already on scene. We need to raid Team Star's first base."
"Location is on your map," Stan said, "along with a rendezvous point. Meet us there."
"You got it." Goh said. The call then ended and Stan looked to Ash and Serena.
"Let's roll." He said.
Location: Team Star Compound
Time: 0708 Hours (7:08 AM)
Stan pulled up to a rendezvous point, seeing Goh and the others with some SWAT Officers.
"Hope the gear is good quality." Ash said.
"I hope so, too." Serena said. Stan then parked and the three got out. They approached and Goh smiled.
"Good call on the gear." He said.
"We'll need it." Stan said. One of the SWAT Officers then approached with a tactical raid vest that had "Five-0" in bold and all caps on the back and front.
"These are professional quality vests. They'll be able to stop bullets from most handguns," they said, "and from most rifle rounds. Just be careful. We have enough for you all, and enough for you to take home. We'll also be able to provide you with weapons. We have a stockpile of M4A1 Carbine rifles. Would those be acceptable?"
"Perfect. Got any attachments for them?" Stan asked.
"We've got a few Blue Dot Sights," the Officer said, "some Tactical Lights, and a Foregrip."
"Dibs on the foregrip." Stan said.
"We have the attachments on them already." Another Officer said.
"Then we shouldn't hold off. Let's gear up." Stan said. They all put their gear on and Ash looked at how everyone looked.
"Sweet." He said.
"Yeah." Goh said. Stan then grabbed his rifle and the others took one. Stan then looked towards the entrance and stood tactically, aiming towards it.
"Stack up on me." He said. Ash and the others nodded and got behind him, each aiming at the entrance. The SWAT Officers got behind Stan and the others.
"You guys have point." The leader said.
"Let's go." Stan said. He motioned for everyone to move up. They all started walking, stopping when they saw two Grunts. Stan motioned for two of them to go and flank them. Two SWAT then broke off and subdued the two Grunts. Another SWAT then went to the gates and broke the lock. Everyone then walked in and looked around. Stan then motioned to the main tent and glared as everyone approached. One of the SWAT Officers then readied a flashbang and nodded. Stan gave a nod and glared.
"On his mark." The SWAT Leader said. They all got ready and the flashbang was rolled in. A Team Star Grunt looked at it and was confused.
"What's this?" They asked. Others looked at it and one gasped.
"Ah, shit! FLASHBANG!" They yelled. The flashbang went off and everyone inside screamed and groaned.
"Go! Go! Go! Go!" Stan said. SWAT then ran in, aiming.
"POLICE! SEARCH WARRANT! POLICE! SEARCH WARRANT!" The SWAT Leader said. Stan ran in, following them.
" ¡AGENTES FEDERALES! ¡NADIE SE MUEVA!" Stan yelled.
"FEDERAL AGENTS! NOBODY MOVE!" Serena translated.
"HANDS UP! DO IT NOW!" Ash yelled. The members of Team Star all surrendered and were immediately subdued. Everyone then started searching. Stan then found what he was looking for and held it up.
"Who here knows what this is?" Stan asked. None of the Grunts responded.
"He asked a question. Who has an answer?!" Bonnie asked. One of them sighed.
"It's a Charizardite Z." They spoke.
"Why do you guys have it?" Stan asked.
"To seek revenge against Uva Academy." Another Grunt said.
"Why?" Stan asked.
"Because of what they did to us. What they labeled us as." A third said.
"Which was?" Stan asked.
"Truants." A fourth said.
"What about Alan Finch? What did he do to you?" Stan asked. The Grunts all tensed up, except for one.
"W-what?" The Grunt asked. Stan looked at them.
"You know him?" Stan asked. The Grunt, a female, gave a nod as Stan approached.
"H-he's my boyfriend," she said, "and…. I'm carrying his child. I was going to tell him tomorrow. D-did something happen to him?"
"You mean they never told you?" Stan asked.
"You never told her?!" Serena asked.
"You heartless jerks!" Bonnie said.
"W-w-what are they talking about?" The Grunt asked.
"We want a lawyer!" Another exclaimed.
"NO! I want the truth! What did you guys do to Alan?!" The Grunt asked, aggravated.
"We don't know what you're talking about!" The other Grunts said. She looked at Stan and had tears in her eyes.
"Cut her loose. She had no idea." Stan said. Two SWAT Officers then took the cuffs off of her and she looked scared and worried.
"What happened? Where's Alan?!" She asked. Stan went solemn before sighing.
"I regret to inform you that he was found murdered at the Route 4 entrance to Lumiose City in Kalos. He was missing the Voltage and Rumble Badges." Stan said. The other Grunts said nothing, but the one that was released had teared up before breaking down. Serena and Chloe caught her, holding her close as she sobbed and wailed loudly.
"We're sorry for your loss." Serena said. The girl then glared at the others and looked at Stan.
"I'll tell you everything these assholes did," she said, "but I want immunity."
"We'll talk to the DA." Stan said.
"What?! You're ratting on us?!" A Grunt asked.
"Consider this my resignation." The girl said.
Location: Uva Academy, Director Clavell's Office
Time: 0920 Hours (9:20 AM)
Stan and the others were watching as the girl signed a statement, confessing to her role in the plan. She then looked at Director Clavell, who looked saddened.
"To think you had been tricked into joining such a vile organization." He spoke.
"I will accept any punishment necessary." The girl said.
"What's your name?" Stan asked.
"Callie." The girl said.
"I'll talk to the DA, see if you can get community service for the Truancy instead of probation." Stan said.
"I'd like to help you guys, if possible." Callie said.
"We'll see what the judge says." Serena spoke.
"Let's get going. We still have time to watch Aria's performance before we have to head back." Ash said.
"Oh," Director Clavell said, "you're travelling with Miss Aria? I can get you VIP seats to her performance. My twin brother is the Director of Naranja Academy."
"What's the catch?" Stan asked, sensing an ulterior motive.
"None at all! I simply ask that you speak to a class about your agency." Director Clavell said.
"You want us to speak in front of a class?" Clemont asked.
"Not just a class. He wants us to speak to the whole school." Stan said. Director Clavell was impressed.
"How attentive." Director Clavell said.
"Didn't get where I am because of my looks." Stan said.
"Shall we get going?" Serena asked.
"I just hope Aria's injuries don't hinder her." Stan said.
"Same here." Serena said.
Location: Naranja Academy, Auditorium
Time: 0940 Hours (9:40 AM)
Aria was backstage with Delphox, worried.
"This is our first performance since we lost Aromatisse." Aria said. Delphox hugged Aria, but stayed strong. Aria then saw Stan in the crowd and had an idea. Delphox caught on and smiled.
"I wonder what's happening." A student spoke.
"Do you think it's a test?" Another student asked. Stan then got a message and looked at it. He looked to Ash and Serena, motioning for them to follow him. The three of them then went backstage and saw Aria.
"What's going on? Having second thoughts?" Stan asked.
"I want us to perform together." Aria said.
"Really?!" Serena asked, shocked.
"Yeah. Are you up for it?" Aria asked.
"Sure!" Serena said.
"We'll go back to our seats." Ash said.
"No, Ash. I want you and Stan with us." Aria said.
"I've never danced in my life." Stan said.
"Who said you were dancing? I know of your OTHER talents. I did my research." Aria said. Stan was stunned, but soon grinned.
"Clever girl." He said.
[Moments later….]
Director Clavell was smiling as he stood in front of the curtains.
"Ladies and gentlemen," he spoke, "I am proud to announce another successful Treasure Hunt!" Everyone cheered and applauded.
"It was fun while it lasted." A student said.
"Now," Director Clavell said, his face now solemn, "I'm sure you've seen that some of your classmates aren't here. That is because they were collaborating with Team Star, and they've been arrested. I also regret to inform you all that one of our Champion-ranked trainers from Uva Academy, Alan Finch, was murdered in an attempt to prevent Team Star from destroying the school. His efforts were not in vain." Everyone started murmuring.
"Poor Callie." One said.
"We will not let Alan's death be in vain. He died fighting for his school," Director Clavell said, "and he would not let ANYONE say otherwise! He would want us to celebrate his life in this world! Team Star has been defeated, and they will face their due punishment!" The students all applauded.
"Rest in Peace, Alan!" One spoke.
"Now," Director Clavell said, "to celebrate this momentous occasion, we have asked for a few guests to speak with you! Please welcome Kalos Queen Aria, Performer Serena, World Monarch Ash Ketchum, and Five-0 Agent Stan Reagan!" Everyone cheered and applauded as the curtain rose up. Aria and Serena both stood with their Delphox, and Ash had Pikachu. Serena then smiled and held up two Poké Balls.
"Pancham! Sylveon! Help us out!" Serena said, throwing the two balls up. Pancham and Sylveon then appeared from the balls and landed with grace. Aria then looked up and smiled.
"This one's for you, Aromatisse." She spoke. Ash stood near Serena and smiled, holding out a hand. Serena took it as an instrumental started playing. Everyone cheered when they heard it. Stan grinned and held up a microphone.
'Clever girl.' Stan thought. Aria grinned as Stan took center stage.
"Alright, Delphox! Just like we practiced!" Aria said.
"Let's do this!" Ash said. Stan took a breath before releasing it and getting serious.
"Use Flamethrower!" Aria and Serena said.
"Pancham, Stone Edge!" Ash said, speaking for Serena. The three unleashed their attacks, giving off an effect of fiery pillars, and Stan grinned.

" Mambo Kingz!" Aria sang. Pancham used Stone Edge again as Aria and Serena's Delphox used Flamethrower, creating fire pillars. The three did this five times before all the Pokémon onstage unleashed a single attack into the air and they all combined and showered the audience with sparkles. As they did this, Stan, Ash, Aria, and Serena all posed before jumping in sync and started dancing.

¡Yo siempre picheo, enrolo OTRA VEZ!" Stan sang, dancing in sync with Aria, Ash, and Serena. A double Flamethrower from the Delphox and a Dark Pulse from Pancham combining to make an explosion ended the song as Stan, Aria, Ash, and Serena posed. The audience cheered and applauded loudly. Bonnie laughed as Squishy trilled in delight. Aria smiled, as did Delphox, and they hugged Stan. Director Clavell walked back onstage and smiled.
"Let's give another round of applause for our special guests for that AMAZING performance!" He said. Everyone applauded and cheered louder.
"Thank you!" Stan said.
"It was a pleasure!" Aria said. The audience then went quiet as someone approached the stage.
"Excuse me," they spoke, "my name is Nemona. Is it true that Five-0 is responsible for defeating Team Star and Team Flare?"
"You're forgetting Team Rocket," Stan said, "but it's true."
"Do you happen to have a Director?" Nemona asked.
"No," Ash said, "we don't. At least, not yet. We still need to establish our Headquarters first."
"That reminds me," Nemona said, "will Five-0 be putting a Field Office in Paldea?"
"I don't see why not." Stan said. Director Clavell then smiled and nodded.
Location: Kalos Region Airspace, 500 Miles from Lumiose City International Airport
Time: 0017 Hours (12:17 AM)
Stan was finalizing the permits, and sighed as he finished. He sent them via email before closing the laptop he was using. He stretched in his seat before seeing everyone else sleeping. He then got up and went to the bathroom. As he went towards it, he saw Delphox holding an egg while she had tears in her eyes.
"Is that yours?" Stan whispered. Delphox jumped slightly, looking at Stan. She then sighed and nodded, pulling out a picture of her with Aria, Guurkin, and Guurkin's Lucario.
'Guurkin and his Lucario?' Stan thought.
"Is his Lucario the father?" Stan whispered.
"Delphox Del-phox Phox." Delphox whispered, looking solemn. Stan understood immediately.
"You had been raped before," Stan whispered, "and this is the egg from it." Delphoc nodded and Stan knelt down to her. He gave a serious look, which caused her to hug him. He gave a gentle return before pulling his phone out. Delphox gave a soft smile before seeing what Stan was doing.
Location: Lumiose City, Sycamore Pokémon Lab
Time: 0730 Hours (7:30 AM)
Palermo walked in with Aria and Delphox as Professor Sycamore stood next to Froakie, Fennekin, and Chespin.
"Is everything okay?" Aria asked.
"Stan asked for me to have them ready. He never said why." Professor Sycamore said. Stan then walked in and had Ash and the others with him.
"Professor Sycamore," Stan said, showing an active Trainer's License, "I'd like to choose a Pokémon." Aria gasped and Palermo smiled. Delphox approached Stan, giving a knowing look.
"Delphox." She said.
"He surprised us with it, too." Ash said.
"Are you sure, Stan?" Aria asked.
"I'm sure." Stan confirmed. Froakie and Fennekin ran to him, smiling.
"Froakie/Fennekin!" They said. Professor Sycamore smiled and held out two Poké Balls to Stan.
"These are Froakie and Fennekin's Poké Balls. Take good care if these two." He said. Stan took the Poké Balls and nodded.
"You have my word." Stan said. Ash's Greninja then came out of its Poké Ball, as did Serena's Delphox. The two went to Froakie and Fennekin, smiling.
"Looks like they'll be your mentors!" Ash said. Aria smiled and looked at Serena.
"You know," Aria said, "Showcases are about to start again. I hope to see you in the Master Class Finals again, Serena."
"Count on it, Aria! This time," Serena said, "I'll be taking the title of Kalos Queen!"
"I look forward to seeing you try!" Aria said. Palermo then held out an ID to Stan, who took it and smiled. He pulled out his wallet, which contained a badge, and put the ID inside.
"Now Five-0 is an OFFICIAL federal agency that is recognized across the entire World of Pokémon." Palermo said.
"You can still use the lab as a temporary HQ until yours is done." Professor Sycamore said.
"Thanks, Professor." Stan said. Ash and the others then smiled as Palermo gave them IDs.
After thwarting yet another evil scheme, this time in Paldea, our heroes are now OFFICIALLY recognized as federal agents in Five-0. Plus, Stan FINALLY has two Pokémon to call his own. Stan then looked at Ash and Serena.
"So," Stan said, "what's your plans, Ash? Gonna let Serena do her stuff first, then challenge the Indigo League again?"
"Huh?!" Serena asked, blushing. Ash thought about it for a bit before smiling and nodding.
"Sounds good to me." He said. Serena was stunned, but smiled.
"Think you can help me practice my routines then?" She asked.
"Sure! I might even come up with some strategies for battling!" Ash said.
"Can we join you?! I want to travel with you two again!" Bonnie said.
"You're just wanting them to start dating, Bonnie. You can't hide it." Stan said.
"Like you and Aria are dating?" Bonnie asked, countering.
"I can neither confirm nor deny that without the secretary's approval." Stan said. Bonnie tensed up and Serena laughed.
"He's got you there, Bonnie!" Ash said. Stan looked to Aria, who winked to him. He smiled and nodded.
"Honestly," Serena said, "I wouldn't mind us travelling together again. Maybe we can ALL travel together as a team." Aria smiled and nodded.
"I like that idea." She said.
"Same here!" Clemont said.
"We'll keep in touch, Ash!" Goh said.
"I know you will!" Ash said.
"How about a group photo for this occasion?" Palermo asked. They all stood together and their Pokémon all came out their Poké Balls. Professor Sycamore then smiled and took a picture.
