Nick started to pack his bags with a slightly disgruntled demeanour. He neatly folded his clothes the jammed it in his bag, unsure how long he would be staying in BunnyBurrow. Part of him was also hoping he would at least have a hotel, but his rational side screamed, 'You're staying with her', which scared him a little, but he didn't show it. "A deal is a deal." he commented to the empty air, punctuated by an exasperated sigh. Once his bag was ready, he zipped it up and threw it by the door. He then looked at his two pistols that were on the table. After a couple seconds of contemplation, Nick grabbed Foxtrot and a couple magazines for it, and slipped it in his bag, hiding it under his clothes.

He then called silver, knowing what he needs to say. Silver answered the phone reluctantly and asked cautiously and aggressively, "What?"

"Hey, you know how shit hit the fan like literally two weeks ago and last week there were talks of a coalition between the ZIA police and you lot for this mess that I've practically made? Yeah, you'll probably wanna know that I'll be missing for a bit, don't worry about it I'm on holiday."

"Wait, how do you know abo-"

"Oops, gotta go, you know how it is with flights this time of year."

"No, you're not getti-" Nick then cut the call with a smirk on his muzzle.

He then pocketed his phone and waited for the phone call. He didn't know when it would come, but he knew it would. He continued with his day by then pulling out his laptop and watching videos. He was now content with his day, knowing he had nothing to do right now.

Undisclosed Building Office.

Silver slammed his forehead on the desk in frustration. He then angrily called Jewel in. "Get me Waller RIGHT NOW!"

She smiled deviously and nodded. She shut the door and headed towards the armoury, where Waller usually resided. She walked in, thinking she would find the wolf lying down or setting up a rifle or something that he usually does, but he just wasn't there. She glanced around curiously, then herself started to get suspicious about the wolf. "What did he do this time?"

She left the armoury and walked over to his office, hoping he would be there. If he wasn't, she had one more idea of where he could be, and hoped it wouldn't come to that. She knocked on the door with a strong sense of urgency. No response. She knocked again, this time even harder. "OPEN UP, BOSS WANTS A WORD WITH YOU!" Still nothing. "Fine, be like that." She opened the door and saw that the office was empty. With this she released a tired sigh and turned to the final place he could be.

She walked to the elevator and took it to the basement. "If he isn't here, then I swear I will-" Before she could finish that thought, the elevator opened up, showing the entire gym and ring. Many mammals were set up there, either exercising, training or sparring. The smell of sweat and blood was strong in this room. Although it didn't affect the otter anymore. She stepped into the gym and loudly shouted : "Where is Waller?" Everyone stopped what they were doing and looked around. After she got a couple shrugs, she turned around in frustration, took a couple deep breaths and walked through, searching the area. "Anyone dares to move and they will regret it." She threatened, making sure no-one covered up for the wolf. Every step was slow, silent yet deliberate. She searched every possible crevice. "Waller, IF YOU ARE IN HERE SHOW YOUR MUZZLE NOW, BEFORE I DO SOMETHING I WOULDN'T WANT TO. NEITHER OF US WOULD WANT THAT." Everyone in the area was concerned and didn't dare move from where they were now.

After searching the entire area, she saw that he wasn't here. She muttered under her breathe, "Stupid wolf." She headed back to the elevator, which just dinged. Inside was the wolf she was looking for. "Where were you?"

Waller rolled his eyes. "If we have to talk, my office." He responded while dragging her into the elevator. "What do you want Jenny?"

"Huh, wait, how-"

"Doesn't matter, what's up?" Waller responded with a cold face.

"Well, Wallace, Silver wants you."

"Fuck, what does he think I did now?"

"I don't know, hoped you could tell me."

"No idea, but I was called in for many things the last couple of weeks."

"Breaking under the pressure?"

"No."

"Then toughen up and just get through it."

"My thoughts exact."

The elevator then stopped. "I'm to escort you there, you have no room to complain about this."

"Of course Jewel, Ms Secretary, lead the way."

"Shut up, before I break your jaw and punch your nose in."

"You couldn't even if you wanted to."

"Test me and we'll see." Both started to walk as the door opened fully. "Follow me, the boss wants to see you." Jewel exclaimed more loudly so that everyone heard what was happening. There were many eyes set upon the duo as this was becoming a more regular occurrence, after the promotion Silver received and even more after Waller helped Spectre.

"You still don't know what he wants."

"If he sends me then you know it ain't good."

"Just shut up and keep going."

"Yes ma'am." Waller reluctantly responded, trying to end the conversation. His expression clearly demonstrated defeat. All that was left for him was to take whatever heat and punishment that was about to be delivered. He steadied his breathing and made sure to not care whatever is said.

The two walked through the door. "Took a little effort to find him, sorry for the delay."

Silver raised his paw and nodded, then turned to Waller. "Please, give us a moment." Jewel then left the room with a nod and shut the door behind her. "WHY THE FUCK WOULD YOU INCLUDE HIM?!"

"What?"

"Okay, fine, let's play like that." Silver stood up and it was clear that his other paw revealed a pistol. Waller stared at it for a couple seconds and accepted what was about to happen.

"Well, it was bound to happen one of these days, didn't think it would be you." Waller spoke stoically. "Whatever it is, even if I didn't do it, I'll take the blame."

"So, I'm right to assume you are the one that called up Spectre and invited him to join this little group?"

Waller froze for a second in shock. "Hold the fuck up, HE KNOWS?! HOW THE FUCK DOES HE KNOW?" Waller started to panic, completely disregarding the gun that was about to be pointed at him. He then realised what he said and composed himself. "Apologies for the sudden outburst sir."

Silver raised the pistol and pointed it at Waller. "So, given that, I should assume it wasn't you. Any ideas who told him?"

"One, sir. Spectre was told by Spectre."

"Oh, come on, at least be realistic with it." Silver retorted tiredly.

"I'm serious, he probably bugged a room or eavesdropped someone or something sneaky like that. You know how he is." That was when he pulled out his phone and called the murderous fox. Spectre then answered. "Hey, who did you find out from?"

That was when Waller put it on speaker. "Let me guess, Silver blamed you then you gave a realistic reason but since he is now in control fully, he is paranoid and willing to blame his closest partner on everything even though you created this and are most loyal to him. Oh, and put this on speaker. Hi, Jenny." That was when there was a slight bump behind the door. Waller and Silver stared at each other for a second then tried to stifle their laughter. "I'll say this, he didn't, I found out myself and I won't say how, more fun that way. Maybe, it was you with all those forms, Mr. Bureaucrat."

"Wait, me? No. You couldn't've."

"Maybe so, anyway, like I said before vacation, so gotta go." Then the call ended. Silver instantly holstered his pistol and searched through all his files.

"Bring Jewel in." Waller nodded. "And, sorry for that, all of it." Waller nodded again.

Waller walked out of the room and tipped his head to the door. Jewel instantly understood. She walked into the office. "What do you need sir?"

"Every file I have signed, commissioned or read through."

"Of course sir, every file I wouldn't return should be burned, but do ask about them. Just in case."

"I definitely will." Jewel walked out with her little clipboard and sighed.

"Every file? Spoiler, he didn't read a file. He is too active to do something like that. I'll help anyways."

"You don't need to, I don't need your help."

"I know you don't, but it would be good to have. I have larger arms, I can carry more than you."

"Oh, so it's like that."

"Whatever." Jewel started to walk off towards the storage area. "Question?"

"What? I thought I told you to leave me."

"Why Jewel?"

"Why Waller?"

"You know my name and it was a slip."

"Wanted a different name, a pseudonym for when I'm working. It does annoy me that there are some that know my name. Happy?"

Waller held the door open. "I guess, but why Jewel?"

"Why not, they are beautiful and hard to break, can also be sharp and dangerous."

"Heh, narcissism is the reason." Jewel scowled at Waller. "What? I don't understand. It's an observation, besides, you need to be narcissistic around here." Then there was a pause. "I legally changed my name but most documents are outdated so most still think my name is Wallace. It's Harry now. Only one mammal knew so far, so you know can't get anything past him."

"Spectre?"

"Yeah."

"You think our boss's name is Silver?"

"Nah, but it might as well be. Doesn't matter if it is or isn't, the boss is the boss."

"We trust each other?"

"I guess? Not completely but, we have to work together somehow."

"Would you blame me if I had thoughts of me killing Silver, just kinda things I wouldn't commit to but things that ease my mind."

"Depends, cos you hate him or because of that small detail of him taking the position of your previous boss? You can suck up all you want, you will never get over that fact. I know that."

"Who'd he kill?"

"My alpha. Practically replaced him almost immediately, that's when the name stuck as well. I moved on mostly." Waller then chuckled. "Why did I tell you that?"

Jewel just giggled. "You can call me Jenny."

"I was planning to. You can call me Harry." Waller retorted, feeling a little bit better about this. "Aw, shit we're gonna do the whole, you're not so different you and I thing, aren't we?"

Jewel then picked up some boxes. "I guess we already have." She then shuffled one of the boxes towards Waller. "Here, you're supposed to help."

"Yeah, yeah." He reached for the box and lifted it up. "Need me to take anything else?" Jewel shook her head. Waller knew what he just saw. "Stubborn idiot."

"Speak for yourself." Jewel was visibly annoyed when she heard that.

"Oh what? You don't like hearing something negative about yourself, grow up."

"What about you, clinging to some stupid hope between you and your brother. If I'm stubborn, you are full on delusional. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black."

"That is exactly why I can say what I say. Because, I've been through it. I've seen others go through it. It's a surprise I'm still alive." His voice was calm, controlled, trying to maintain composure. "I think it's my duty, for whatever it's worth to make sure others don't follow it." He didn't seem bothered, offended or fazed. "I can't make you do anything, I can't say that you're wrong, I can only speak from my experience."

"Just go. I don't need any more of this." Waller just nodded and walked away, box still in paw. "If you need me, you'll know where to find me boss."

Jewel just sighed and wiped her muzzle as she watched the wolf leave and shut the door behind him.

Waller returned to Silver's office. "Here's some of the files you wanted. The rest are coming later."

Waller then turned to the exit and grabbed the handle. "I'm sorry Waller, I didn't mean to blame you for everything. It's just very stressful in this chair. No-one to fall back on, no-one to make sure you're right, no-one to direct." Silver grabbed his head. "It's not what I signed up for."

"I don't think anyone is ever really ready, until they get used to it. I know you will to, sir."

"Go, I have matters to tend to." Silver ordered as he reached for one of the files.

"Sure thing boss. Oh and never admit it's your fault. As the boss, you are always right, even if you aren't, don't forget that."

"That might have been how others worked, but that's not how I work. I will get my job done my way."

"Very well sir, not my place to intrude." Waller left the office and returned to the armoury, where he usually sat. He was the closest thing to the weapon specialist there anyway.

He pushed the armoury door open and checked a few of the pistols to see if they were clean and functioning. "Always leave 'em chambered, you know."

"I do, idiots do that all the time."

"You wouldn't call me an idiot now would you." Waller turned his eyes to the other mammal in the room. There it was: a disturbing, cheery smile, heavily tinted shades hiding his eyes all the time, the dreaded stripes that rolled down his fur. Some of Waller's fur started to stand. "Anyway, keep him on a tight string and lessen his workload. That's your job after all. Would hate to see him kill himself so soon."

Waller drew his pistol immediately. "What are you talking about?"

"Oh, nothing that concerns me, like your little fan club you made. Don't worry, I forgive you for not inviting me over, I wouldn't invite me either." He stood up and walked over to the wolf. "What are you gonna do, Harry?"

Waller kept the pistol pointed at the forehead. "Kill you, if I must."

"Ah, there it is, if you must. It isn't necessary, and maybe I have a gun trained on you. You don't know. I mean, if a singing lawyer beat all of you up, what says I can't."

"We know."

"Fucking bounties. It was Silver wasn't it."

"Yeah, Nick, even if you are practically a nobody."

"Well done, it means nothing to me."

"You don't care?" Waller asked sceptically.

"Doesn't make me easier to kill."

Just as Nick reached Waller, he heard "Fuck this." muttered quietly and pushed Waller's paw upwards, avoiding the bullet that was fired.

"That's a strike. Two more and you're out." Nick chuckled before leaving. "I'll show myself out, got things to do, oh right you were there."

"Oh yeah how did you..." But Spectre was gone already. "Motherfucker." Waller punched the wall beside him. "Just like he came, he is gone." He rushed quickly to Silver's office and barged through the door. "We need to tighten up security, I swear, if Spectre threatens me again, it won't end well."

Both Silver and Jewel looked up as they were startled. Jewel quickly gripped her pistol then kept it there after she realised who stormed through. Silver stared into the wolf's eyes. "Again? Fuck. How does it keep happening? It just happened?"

"Yeah. Sunova bitch just walked away and disappeared like some ghost."

"Of course the SPECTRE fucking does that." He put the file he had in his paw down. "Jewel, leave the files, here. He wouldn't have taken it. Even if he did, he would've returned it by now." He wiped his muzzle once again. "I swear, sometimes I wonder whether my fur is silver or grey." He mumbled to himself. "Both of you leave, now I have things to consider." Both nodded and complied. "I guess there is nothing more for us to do but wait."

"So, what do you think is happening?" Jewel asked cautiously.

"I don't know." Waller admitted. "All I know is that it won't be good for us."

Nick's Apartment

Nick walked back, wearing his suit calmly. He reached his floor and started reaching in his pocket for his keys. His eyes were quickly averted by the rabbit standing next to his door. "Ready to go?"

"I could ask you the same thing. Where did you go?" Judy asked whilst still leaning on the wall. "That's your work uniform, so I want to know. Who'd you meet?" She asked sweetly and slyly.

"Some old friends, there was some problems with management, so tried to straighten it out."

"Silver?"

"Silver." Nick responded immediately, trying to not hide it. "I assume you didn't come to ask about my day only. What's the news?"

"Well, we're going about tomorrow."

"Huh, not that long to go then. Damn."

"Nope."

A/N: Ah, here we go, another chapter done. I didn't expect much from Judy and Nick but, I thought to add them so that it made sense when it was only them specifically. Otherwise, yeah, here it is.

I would say I was busy or something, and that would be a partial lie, but honestly, I just didn't know what exactly to write, so had to push through that. Otherwise, it's been going okay.

I hope everyone had a great Easter if you celebrate it, and if you didn't well, I hope you had a good time.

With that being said, I wish you all a good one, and until next time. Goodbye.
