"I thought the Fleet was nothing but ships, since when did they start coming in the form of planes?" asked Kirishima.
"I'm part of the new models, just recently made by The Creator himself who just arrived here on Earth after being away in space ever since the first Fleet attack," said Kowanishi.
"And just who is your Creator?" asked Gunzou.
"Sorry, but you'll never know that," said Kawanishi as she fired a laser at Iona.
"No!" said Gunzou as he rushed to shield the young mental model, taking the laser to his back which caused him to scream out of pain for a second his body went limp.
"Gunzou!" said everyone as he fell to the ground.
"Wh… why would he take the hit for her, she could have survived that, mental models aren't weak enough for one hit to kill them," said a stunned Kawanishi.
"Gunzou is the kind of person who would sacrifice himself to save his comrades, he does not care about the danger that will put him in," said Takao.
"I… I don't understand… why would anyone do that?" asked Kawanishi as she grabbed her head.
"It took me a while to understand it as well, but now I know that humans, even though they harm one another so much, also have those that they wish to protect and to Gunzou that is even us Fleet members," said Kongou.

"We have to get him to the medbay," said Sou. A few minutes later, everyone was down in the medbay as Hyuuga checked Gunzou over to make sure his life was not in danger.
"This is not good," said Hyuuga as she did a scan of Gunzou.
"What's wrong?" asked Makie.
"All of his organs are failing, I don't know a way to help him," said Hyuuga.
"I have an idea," said Kongou as her nanomaterial swirled around her right hand.
"You aren't thinking of sending nanomaterials into him are you, we don't know what that will do," said Takao.
"Do you have a better idea?" asked Kongou.
"Alright, but we all put a little bit in each, that way no one can hold anything over the others," said Iona.
