Two days after Kawanishi's attack, Gunzou had yet to wake up.
"All of his vitals are stable, but I still have no clue when he'll wake up," said Hyuuga. Suddenly, an alarm went off.
"Kawanishi is back, and it looks like she brought some back up," said Kirishima as she looked at a visual from a camera on the beach that showed Kawanishi and several other planes gathered around.
"Then we better go," said Takao before they all vanished.
"How is he?" asked Sou as Iona woke up on the ship where all the humans had already gathered in preparation.
"Still not awake," said Iona.
"The enemy is in range," said Shizukaa as her sonar showed ten signals.
"Fire three missiles," said Sou.
"Roger," said Kyouhei. They then fired three missiles in an upwards direction. Meanwhile, Kawanishi and all of the planes were hovering before the island.
"Where are they?" asked Kananishi as she stood on her plane looking down at the island and seeing no signs of anyone. Suddenly, the three missiles came out of the water and destroyed three planes.
"A sneak attack from the water?!" asked Kawanishi as she got shook by the explosions. As parts fell into the ocean, more missiles shot from the west.
"Looks like this pensure move worked," said Kongou as she and the other ships appeared out of nowhere.
"So, they used their nanomaterial to cloak themselves, but I have a big surprise for them," said Kawanishi as she held her right arm up.
"Oh no, this energy wave can only mean one thing," said Shizuka with a worried expression.
"She has a Super Gravity Cannon," said Sou.
"Take this, you traitors!" said Kawanishi as the cannon fired from the tip of her plane.
"This is not good," said Takao as the cannon turned to fire on everyone. When the laser hit, it caused a large smoke cloud.
"Now there is only one left," said Kawanishi. However, when the smoke cleared, it was revealed that Kongou and the others were alright.
"Sorry about that, but I won't let a single one of my comrades sink," said Gunzou as he walked up the beach with his eyes closed.
