Chapter 29: Magician vs Witch
Hey everyone I'm back with a new chapter. I'm glad all of you enjoyed my last chapter and I know many of you were eager for this one and I gotta say I think I nailed this one. I hope you like what I have planned. I'd also like to give a shoutout to masters123lfm for helping me come up with ideas for the ending. Please Review and Enjoy.
The following day, after Jaden's duel with Nighshroud and now he and the formerly lost student Nightshroud were laying asleep in the hospital beds.
As Alexis sat next to her brother she was overwhelmed. Her long-lost brother was finally back.
"At least Jaden took out the first Shadow Rider." Chazz said trying to look on the bright side.
"How the heck did Atticus become a Shadow Rider? I mean if anything there's more we don't know." Takeru said.
"Whatever the case may be, Atticus is safe and we're down to 7 Shadow Riders." Zane said.
"And one is still out there." Bastion said.
"We better go prepare. Who knows which one of us will be next?" Zane said as he, Chazz and Bastion left.
Slowly walking up to Alexis, Takeru stood next to her.
"Hey you okay?" Takeru asks.
"I just can't believe it. He's finally back. I feel like if I look away he'll disappear again." Alexis said.
"Hey it's gonna be okay." Bending down Takeru hugs her from behind. "You have your brother; you have your friends and you have me."
Smiling Alexis leaned into the embrace.
"You mean just you right now?" Alexis asks.
"Actually I made some calls." Takeru said.
Soon the door opens revealing Mindy, Jasmine and Seika.
"Alexis, is it true?" Jasmine asks.
"That's your brother?" Mindy asks.
"You called them?" Alexis asks.
"I told them Alexis needed some company. They didn't even hesitate." Takeru smiles.
"You're the best." Alexis said when the door opens revealing Madison.
"Where's Jaden?" Madison said before seeing him asleep in bed. "Is he?"
"He's fine Madison he just needs rest." Ms. Fontaine said.
"Hmm you know he's kinda cute. You sure you're related?" Seika smirks.
"Ha ha Seika." Alexis rolls her eyes.
"Hey. No one calls me cute." Takeru said.
"Because you're better than cute that's why." Mindy giggles.
"I can't believe he agreed to do this. You idiot." Madison said walking over to his bed. "When he wakes up I'm gonna let him have it."
"Go easy on him Madison. He helped Alexis out." Jasmine said.
"Oh fine." Madison said.
"Keep these guys company. I'll be right back." Takeru said.
"Where are you off to?" Seika asks.
"Just need to get something to drink. Been a little tiring lately." Takeru said.
"I wouldn't mind something as well." Alexis admits.
"I'll come with you. You might need a hand." Jasmine said.
"Thanks Jasmine." Takeru smiles as they walked out.
At Dorothy's store, Jasmine and Takeru bought a bottle of water when he noticed some new card packs on sale.
"Uh can I get a couple of those too?" Takeru asks.
"We just got these yesterday. Hopefully, you'll get something good." Dorothy said handing them to him.
"Thanks." Takeru said taking them.
"So uh how did you guys find Alexis' brother? Something tells me he didn't just drop out of thin air." Jasmine asks.
"It's a little complicated and a lot crazy." Takeru admits.
"Crazier than Seika getting captured by mummies, me getting kidnapped by a Monkey, Alexis getting kidnapped by a Shadow Duelist and Mindy getting kidnapped by a card spirit?
"How did you know about those things?" Takeru asks.
"Mindy and Alexis are my best friends we tell each other everything." Jasmine said.
"And somehow I'm the one who ends up jumping in to save you girls. Wow." Takeru cringed.
"Well it's nice to know you care enough about us to do those things." Jasmine giggles.
"I guess. Look I do know what happened with Atticus but I think it's only right that Alexis should be the one to tell you since he's her brother." Takeru said.
"I guess I can respect that. At least she has him back." Jasmine smiles.
"Exactly." Takeru nods as Jasmine took the drinks for the others and turned away.
"And hey Takeru." Jasmine said getting his attention. "You're a good guy and I'm glad you look out for us."
Smiling Takeru was happy to hear that.
As she walked away Mahad appeared next to him.
"Well you certainly seem to be popular." Mahad said.
"Hey I'm just trying to be nice." Takeru said.
"Nice guys are hard to come by Takeru don't sell yourself too short." Mahad smirks.
"Yeah yeah, come on let's try and see if we can make these new cards work." Takeru said holding up the packs.
Making his way to a table he took out his deck before opening the packs. Not knowing he might need them soon.
That night, Seika and Mindy took Alexis back to the Girls Dorm while Jasmine and Madison stayed to keep watch on Jaden and Atticus.
"We'll be back soon to tag in for you girls." Syrus said.
"Yeah just as long as it's not until after dinner." Chumley said.
"Just bring us some snacks when you do." Madison said.
"You got it." Syrus said as they walked out.
"You girls might want to take a break too." Ms. Fontaine said walking over.
"Sorry Ms. Fontaine but our friends asked us to watch Atticus and Jaden." Jasmine said.
"Well that's my job and so is making sure you girls are safe. We don't need anyone else getting hurt." Ms. Fontaine said not noticing her potted plant growing exponentially.
"Uh Ms. Fontaine. What's up with your plant?" Madison asks getting her attention.
"Huh?" Confused Ms. Fontaine turned around to see the plant dig its roots into the ground surprising her.
Before Miss Fontaine could react the flower opened spraying her with a gas causing her to collapse to the ground.
"Ms. Fontaine!" Both girls gasp.
"What is this?" Jasmine asks as more giant vines came in.
"Payback is what it is." A female voice said.
At the card shop, Takeru was putting his cards away when he heard a loud scream.
"What was that?!" Dorothy gasps.
"Wait that was from the Infirmary!" Takeru gasps.
Running to the infirmary, Takeru looks in horror to see giant vines holding the unconscious bodies of Jaden and Atticus and Madison and Jasmine who were struggling.
"Let me go you overgrown weed!" Madison said trying to break free.
"Takeru help!" Jasmine yells.
Running to her Takeru grabs her hand to pull her free but the vines were too strong and they pulled them out.
"Hang on!" Takeru yells.
He was about to leave when he noticed Ms. Fontaine on the ground and coughing.
Cringing he picked her up and put her down on the bed.
Doing the only thing he could think of he grabbed an oxygen mask and put it over her face making the coughing stop.
"Rest up Ms. Fontaine. I got a feeling we might need you soon." Takeru said before grabbing his duel disk and running out.
Following the vines towards a clearing in the forest, he looked around frantically.
"Jasmine! Madison! Jaden! Where are you?!" Takeru calls out.
"Takeru!" Looking over he saw the four of them trapped in a cage made of thorny plants.
"Are you guys okay?" Takeru asks concerned.
"Yeah I think so." Madison said. "Get us outta here."
Takeru was about to help them when suddenly giant thorny vines shot out of the ground trapping them all inside a cage made of plants.
"What in the?" Takeru said confused.
"No one escapes my Black Garden." A female voice said getting their attention.
Emerging from the treetops, Black Rose stood across from him.
"Who is that?" Jasmine gulps nervously.
"Let me guess you're a Shadow Rider?" Takeru glares.
"You would be correct." Black Rose said before noticing the bangle on his arm. "Your arm. So not only are you a key keeper but you also took the Trial of Magic.
"Trials of Magic? That's what it was called?" Takeru said surprised.
"But you'll find that I'm a much bigger challenge than whatever you faced." Black Rose said.
"Who are you?" Takeru asks.
"I've been called many names. Freak, Monster, Witch. But one name has stood out among the rest…Black Rose." She declared revealing that the Black Garden she said they were trapped in was a field spell card surprising them.
"I don't believe it! Banner's story was true! The Black Rose Witch is real!" Madison gasps.
"You want to say that again?" Black Rose glares.
"Hey leave them alone. Your business is with me." Takeru said getting her attention.
"You're right it is. Which is why if you want them to make it out of this forest in one piece, you'll have to beat me in a duel." Black Rose said.
"And let me guess when I win you get my soul and my spirit key." Takeru assumes.
"Oh trust me. When I'm done with you, you'll wish I had. No. I'm gonna make you suffer." Black Rose said activating her duel disk. "And then I'll take your key."
"Jasmine, Madison keep Jaden and Atticus safe." Takeru calls out.
Nodding both girls held the unconscious boys tight.
Activating his duel disk Takeru and Black Rose stared each other down.
"Let's Duel!" Both declared.
Takeru: 4000
Black Rose: 4000
"Ladies first." Black Rose drew. "And I'll summon a monster face down in defense mode. And I'll place one card facedown. You move." She said.
"My turn." Takeru drew. "I summon Rapid Fire Magician in Attack mode!" Appearing on his field was his magician.
Rapid Fire Magician: 1600/ 1200
Glowing brightly, Rapid Fire Magician fires multiple orbs destroying her monster revealing it to be Wall of Ivy.
"You destroyed my Wall of Ivy and when he's flipped summoned I can summon an ivy token to your side of the field." Black Rose said as a small token appeared next to Takeru.
"I place one card facedown and end my turn." Takeru said.
"Why would she summon that onto Takeru's field?" Jasmine asks.
"She's planning something." Madison said.
"My move." Black Rose drew. "I activate my facedown card Call of the Haunted to bring my Wall back to the field."
Appearing back in front of her Wall of Ivy appeared.
Wall of Ivy: 300/ 1200
"But it's not sticking around for long because now I sacrifice him to summon Rose Tentacles!" Sacrificing her monster a large rose monster appeared on her field.
Rose Tentacles: 2200/ 1200
"And thanks to my token my Rose Tentacles gets an extra attack this turn and when it's destroyed you take 300 points of damage." She declares.
"Wait what?" Takeru gasps.
"Rose Tentacles destroy his silly magician!" Black Rose said as Rose Tentacles swings its vine smashing his monster.
Takeru: 3400
Black Rose: 4000
"So you fight with Shadow games too huh?" Takeru cringed.
"Shadow Games? Hardly. This is my own power." Black Rose declares. "The very power that people ridiculed me fore is the same power I'm going to use to crush you! Now attack his token!"
Swinging a vine, Rose Tentacles destroys the token causing Takeru to cringe as Rose Tentacles lifts him up into the air.
"How does it feel? To be up there all helpless and alone? No one to come to your aid and no one wants to! This what it feels like to be me in this cruel world!" Black Rose declared.
Looking at her despite having a mask on Takeru could tell by the tone of her voice this was personal.
As Rose Tentacles slams him down Takeru felt the token's damage.
Takeru: 3100
Black Rose: 4000
"I end my turn." She said as her vines let go of him. "Do yourself a favor and stay down."
"Not a chance." Mustering up all his strength Takeru stood up. "My turn." Takeru drew. "And I summon Copycat to the field in attack mode!"
Appearing on his field was trickster monster with a mirror for a face.
Copycat: 0/0
"Guess my last attack caused some brain damage because that monster is too weak to do anything." Black Rose mocks.
"Not even close. You see Copycat can pick one monster on your side of the field and gain its attack and defense points." Takeru said as Copycat's mirror reflected Rose Tentacles.
Copycat: 2200/ 1200
"Now they're all tied up." Jasmine smiles.
"But I'm not done. I activate the spell Wonder Wand. Giving my Copycat an extra 500 attack points." Takeru said as Copycat caught the staff raising his attack points.
Copycat: 2700
"Now smash that oversized weed!" Spinning the staff Copycat blasts Rose Tentacles destroying it.
Takeru: 3100
Black Rose: 3500
"What do you think of my tricks?" Takeru asks.
"Not impressed." Black Rose drew. "First off I place Graceful charity. It allows me to draw 3 cards as long as I send 2 to my graveyard. Next I summon Lord Poison in attack mode!" Appearing on her field a new plant monster appeared.
Lord Poison: 1500/ 1200
"For a witch you really like plants." Takeru said.
"You bet I do and now I activate the spell Forbidden Chalice and give it to your monster." Black Rose said as a chalice appeared in front of Copycat.
Looking at it with interest Copycat drank from it.
"You see this Chalice may give your monster 400 attack points but it negates its special ability." Black Rose said as Copycat's power faded.
Copycat: 900/ 0000
"Wait so that means your monster." Takeru gasps.
"Is stronger! Lord Poison attack Copycat!" Charging in Lord Poison slashes Copycat destroying it.
Takeru: 2500
Black Rose: 3500
"And to put you out of your misery I'll place 2 cards facedown."
"Aw man she's scary good." Jasmine said.
"More like just scary." Madison said.
"My turn." Takeru drew. "I summon Breaker the Magical Warrior in attack mode!" Appearing at his side the red robed spellcaster appeared.
Breaker: 1900/ 1000
'So predictable.' Black Rose thought looking at one of her facedown cards ready to spring it.
"And now I activate my facedown card Pitch Black Power Stone." Appearing next to Takeru was a round black stone with a golden upside-down triangle inside it.
"What's that do?" Black Rose asks.
"It gives me power is what it does. This stone has the power to give me 3 Spell counters to use however I want. And it starts when I use Breaker's ability. By removing one spell counter I can destroy your facedown."
Charging in Breaker swings his sword destroying her Wall of Thorns.
"My trap!" She gasps.
"Now normally Breaker's attack goes down but thanks to my Power Stone I can give it back." Takeru said as his Power Stone gave one of its spell counters back to Breaker increasing his attack back to 1900. "And now for your monster! Breaker attack her Lord Poison now!" Takeru said as Breaker slashes Lord Poison destroying it.
Cringing Black Rose felt that one and as a result her mask cracked a little.
Takeru: 2500
Black Rose: 3100
"Nice try but when Lord Poison is destroyed I can summon a Plant Monster from my graveyard. Like my Rose Fairy!" She said as a pink fairy appeared.
Rose Fairy: 600/ 1200
"Wait Takeru never sent that card to the graveyard." Jasmine said.
"No I did. With my Graceful Charity." Black Rose points out.
"And I'll end my turn with two cards facedown." Takeru said ending his turn.
"I'll admit you surprised me back there, but don't get ahead of yourself." Black Rose drew. "You know that card is very symbolic to me."
"What do you mean?" Takeru asks.
"That card represents me when I started out. Little and full of wonder, but as the world broke me down that fairy changed. Into something else. I return Rose Fairy to my hand in order to special summon Fallen Angel of Roses!" As a dark light surrounds Rose Fairy it grew in size turning into a dark twisted angel with black hair, black wings and a thorny whip.
Fallen Angel of Roses: 2400/ 1300
As it landed on the field black roses bloomed around them.
Bending down Black Rose picked one up and smelled it.
"You don't have to do this." Takeru said getting her attention.
"Don't have to do what? Attack you? Win the duel?" She mocks.
"You don't have to hurt people. Look I know things were tough but I don't think you meant to do it on purpose. You just need someone who can help you. To be your friend." Takeru said.
"I don't need anyone's help. Let alone yours! Next I summon Phonexian Seed to the field!" Appearing on the field was a small weed monster.
Phoenixian Seed: 800/ 000
"Now by sacrificing it I can summon a plant monster from my hand. Like my Phoenixan Cluster Amaryllis!" Appearing on the field a beautiful red flower bloomed.
Phoenixan Cluster Amaryllis: 2200/ 0000
"I activate my Facedown card Bottomless Trap Hole! Sorry but your Cluster is about to get buried!" Takeru said.
"I don't think so go Dark Bribe!" Black Rose said revealing her other trap. "You may get a new card out of this but my trap destroys your trap."
As Takeru's trap was destroyed he drew a new card.
"Still think I'm the one in need of saving? When my monsters are done with you you'll be the one begging for mercy! Phoenixan Cluster Amaryllis attack his Breaker!"
"You're not the only one with another trap, go Negate Attack. Not only do I not take any damage from your attack but it ends the battle phase." Takeru said as a barrier deflected the attack.
"You're only delaying the inevitable. I place one card facedown and end my turn." Black Rose said ending her turn.
'She's right. I need to make a comeback and fast.' Takeru drew and smiles. "First by removing Copycat and Rapid Fire Magician from the game, I can summon my Chaos Sorcerer!" Appearing at his side, his dark sorcerer appeared.
Chaos Sorcerer: 2300/ 2000
"And next I summon the tuner monster. Effect Vieler!" Appearing at his side was a small kid with
Effect Vieler: 0000/0000
"A tuner monster?" Black Rose gasps.
"Oh yeah and he's gonna be a big help. First by using my Chaos Sorcerer's Special ability, I can remove your Fallen Angel from the game." Creating an orb of dark magic, Chaos Sorcerer sends Fallen Angel of Roses out of the game and because of her Fallen Angel's ability so was Rose Fairy in her hand.
"And since I used his effect he can't attack but that doesn't matter because now I tune my level 1 Effect Vieler with my Level 6 Chaos Sorcerer to summon a master of the mystic arts and one who will shine the light on your mistakes! I Synchro Summon Arcanite Magician!"
As a green circle appeared on the field a blue skinned magician in white robes appeared.
Arcanite Magician: 400/ 1800
"Now I know what you're thinking. He may seem weak but when he's summoned he gains 2 Spell Counters and for each Spell Counter he has he gains 1000 attack points." Takeru said as Arcanite's circle glowed.
Arcanite Magician: 2400/ 1800
"Now I activate his special ability by removing a spell counter from the field I can destroy a card on your field!" Takeru said as the second light on his powerstone trap disappeared.
Spinning his staff Arcanite Magician destroyed her Amaryllis.
"Now who's defenseless? Arcanite Magician attack her directly!" Takeru said as Arcanite Magician spun his staff and created a glowing blue blast.
"He's gonna win!" Jasmine smiles.
"Come on Magic Boy." Madison said hopeful.
"I don't think so! Go Half or Nothing! And just like the card states you can either deal half the damage this turn or no damage." Black Rose said.
"I choose Half!" Takeru declares as both magicians attack causing Black Rose's mask to crack more and more making the bottom half fall off revealing her mouth.
Takeru: 2500
Black Rose: 950
"You were better off when I was mocking you." Black Rose growls.
"Look I know you're angry you have every right to be but using your powers for revenge is not what you should be doing. Please just stop all this and I promise I'll help you." Takeru said.
"I'm done listening to you! You have no idea what it's like to live every day in fear! Fear of what will happen to you! And now I'm going to shut you up once and for all!" Black Rose drew. "First I play Pot of Greed which lets me draw 2 cards from my deck. Then by removing my Lonefire Blossom from the game I activate the spell Mark of the Rose and give it to your Breaker!" Black Rose said as a black rose mark appeared on Breaker's face and he moves to her side of the field.
"Breaker!" Takeru gasps.
"She took his monster?" Madison gasps.
"Yes and for the rest of the turn he's mine to do with as I please. Next I summon my own tuner monster Twilight Rose Knight!" Appearing on the field was a young knight in black armor.
Twilight Rose Knight: 1000/ 1000
"And now I think it's time I showed you what a real Synchro summon looks like! I tune my Level 3 Twilight Rose Knight with the Level 4 Breaker in order to synchro summon my ultimate monster! Rise Black Rose Dragon!" From a giant storm Takeru, Madison and Jasmine look in shock and horror to see a black dragon with red scales that resembled a rose.
Black Rose Dragon: 2400/ 1800
"It's time to show you what real misery is. I tried for years to ignore them, but you can only ignore the pain for so long. That's why when I became a Shadow Rider I knew it was my chance to make this school and everyone in it pay." Black Rose grins.
"But that monster has the same power as Takeru's magician. If she attacks they'll both be destroyed." Jasmine said confused.
"Unfortunately, Jasmine synchro monsters always have a special trick up their sleeves, the only question is what's this ones?" Madison gulps.
"Due to my Black Rose Dragon's special ability if I remove a plant type monster from my graveyard your Magician's attack power goes to zero." As an image of Wall of Ivy appears in front of her dragon, Black Rose Dragon bites down on the card to activate the power. "Go Black Binding Bloom!"
As black vines raced across the field they wrapped around Arcanite Magician separating him from his staff.
Arcanite Magician: 0000/ 1800
"And now that it's weakened Black Rose Dragon show this Key Keeper what real magic looks like! Attack!" Breathing black flames Black Rose Dragon blasts Arcanite Magician and mixed with Black Rose's powers the resulting shockwave blasts Takeru sending him crashing through a tree and making him scream in pain.
"TAKERU!" Jasmine screams in horror as a cloud of dust surrounded him.
Hearing this Jaden weakly responds to it while Atticus' hand moved briefly.
Takeru: 100
Black Rose: 950
Meanwhile in other parts of the school, Alexis was in her room when she noticed her spirit key was glowing.
Seeing it she got a cold feeling inside knowing who was dueling.
"Takeru." Alexis gasps.
As Zane, Chazz and Bastion noticed this they knew they had to go.
At the infirmary, Syrus and Chumley were going to check on Madison and Jaden.
"Hey Jaden you awake yet? We got you snacks." Syrus said.
"Yeah and I didn't eat most of them this time." Chumley said as they opened the door and dropped the snacks seeing they were gone.
"Oh no now Jaden's the hostage." Syrus panics before running out.
"Not lishous." Chumley said running after him.
Looking out at the forest, Banner saw the dust from Black Rose Dragon's attack.
Back at the duel, Black Rose chuckles softly.
"So much for your friends. You're all alone now with no way out." Black Rose mocks.
When the smoke cleared Black Rose looked to see Takeru on the ground but to her confusion, two new monsters were on the field.
"Kuri Kuri." A Kuriboh with a Dark Magician Hat and staff floated in front of Takeru while Dark Magician knelt alongside Takeru.
Magikuriboh: 300/ 200
Dark Magician: 2500/ 2100
"What is this?" Black Rose asks as Takeru managed to get onto his hands and knees.
"When you attacked my Magician…I activated the effect of…Magikuriboh. I send him to my graveyard and he allowed me to summon Dark Magician from my deck." Takeru pants weakly before turning to the little furball. "Thanks for the hand little guy." He smiles.
Cooing Magikuriboh smiles before going into the graveyard.
"And now Takeru has the stronger monster." Madison said impressed.
Grinning Jasmine knew as long as Takeru Dark Magician he had a shot.
"Hmph even with your Dark Magician he won't stand up to my Dragon. Especially when I play the spell card Flint." Suddenly a large chain was flung forward and attaches itself to Dark Magician making it cringe in pain. "Not only can it not attack or change its battle position but your monster also loses 300 attack points."
Dark Magician: 2200/ 2100
"And don't think you can just destroy it because my Equip Spell has the ability to attach itself to whatever other monster on the field. Just give up. Give up on the duel and give up on trying to convince me otherwise. There is no way you could ever understand my feelings." Black Rose said.
Gripping the grass, Takeru slowly stood back up revealing his uniform was a mess and had several rips and bruises with a few cuts along his face.
"Oh man look at him. He's taken so many attacks he can barely stand." Madison said as Jasmine was on the verge of tears.
Takeru was going through all this pain just to protect them. Just like when Wheeler kidnapped her.
'He never cares about what happens to him as long as the ones he cares about are safe. No matter who it is he's always there for us, for me.' Jasmine realizing her feelings for him.
Taking a deep breath Takeru looked at Black Rose and knew there was only one way to get through to her.
"My father…is a Rare Hunter." Takeru declares surprising everyone even Black Rose paused upon hearing this. "For years I lived in fear that if people ever found out they'd hate me, take my cards and hurt my family. I never knew if I could trust anyone with that secret, but when some friends found out they didn't do any of those things. In fact they were understanding and supportive. It felt like a giant burden was lifted off me. That's why I want to help you. And I'll start by taking down that dragon."
Reaching for his deck, Takeru touched the top card of his deck when another hand touched it too.
Looking to his side he saw Mahad's spirit giving him some support.
"Mahad?" Takeru said surprised but Mahad just nodded telling him to keep going.
Nodding in response, Takeru drew his card. "I summon Skilled White Magician!" Takeru said summoning his white robed magician.
Skilled White Magician: 1700/ 1900
"And next I activate the Spell Pot of Greed to draw 2 cards from my deck." Takeru said drawing a card and Skilled White Magician's spell counters glowed. "Next I activate the spell Emblem of Dragon Destroyer which allows me to add a Buster Blader from my deck to my hand!"
"Wait you mean..." Black Rose gasps.
"That's right! And using the last Spell Counter on my Pith Black Power Stone I have exactly what I need." Takeru said as the last light went out causing the Power Stone to break.
As the fragments rained down over the field Skilled White Magician glowed brightly.
"Activating Skilled White Magician's special ability I can summon the enemy of all dragons, Buster Blader!" Engulfed in a bright light Skilled White Magician disappears to reveal Takeru's warrior.
Buster Blader: 2600/ 2300
"And thanks to his special ability he gains 500 attack points for every dragon monster on the field." Takeru said as Buster Blader glared down Black Rose Dragon.
Buster Blader: 3100/ 2300

Breaking out of Black Rose's Flint. Dark Magician raised his staff and a magic circle appeared under Buster Blader boosting his power.

"I promised I was going to save you and I meant it! Buster Blader slay that Black Rose Dragon with your Destructive Sword Slash!" Takeru yells.
Raising his sword high, Buster Blader charges in.
Roaring Black Rose Dragon breathed black flames down but the warrior charged through it.
Leaping up Buster Blader swings his sword slashing Black Rose Dragon in half destroying it and slicing Black Rose's mask in half.

As both duelists dropped to their knees, Takeru sees the mask fall to the ground and crumple into darkness. Gazing up at Black Rose's face he saw a beautiful girl with purple hair with a look of disbelief on her face.
With the vines disappearing around them, Jasmine and Madison grabbed Jaden and Atticus to check if they were okay.
"They're okay." Jasmine smiles.
"Hey Takeru—" Jasmine looks up to see both Takeru and Black Rose were collapsed on the ground.
"Hey what's going on?" Looking over they saw Alexis, Chazz, Syrus, Chumley, Bastion and Zane running over.
"Another Shadow Rider showed up and dueled Takeru." Madison said.
Hearing this Alexis ran to Takeru and helped him up.
"Takeru are you okay? Say something." Alexis begs.
"Help her." Takeru said pointing at Black Rose before passing out in her arms.
"Quick let's get them to the infirmary!" Bastion said.
As they went to get help Zane looked at Black Rose in disbelief. "Wait…she was a student here before. Akiza?" Zane declares as she was taken away.
