Ginny paced by the window, distracted. She constantly glanced outside to see if her family had arrived. While she usually had a few of them turn up most Sundays, this time it was different. This time she had sent them all a letter to request their presence.

She should've been thrilled to bring all of her family together at the same time, but nowadays things were difficult.

Fred's death had changed her family's dynamic, it was to be expected; however, she knew she was to blame, too. She had opened her heart and allowed herself to trust love again. She didn't censor herself either. She let her breath be taken away in the moments spent with people. And due to this, she had ended up dating the enemy.

Her family had tried to understand how she could even fathom the idea of dating Draco Malfoy, but they never succeeded. They tried to support her throughout the wedding too, but it wasn't as lively as her siblings' weddings. Things were just different.

"Gin," Draco said softly as he approached her. He placed his hands on her shoulders to pause the frantic pacing. "It'll be okay."

"What if it isn't? What if they call me ridiculous or stupid?" she asked, turning away from the window to look at her husband.

He gave a look that told her she was being silly. "They won't. And if they do, we'll just ban them from the Manor."

"It's not that simple, Draco." Ginny sighed and leant into his hold. He always made her feel comfortable. "I want them to accept you, us."

"None of them have tried to attack me or even threaten me since we've been married. Trust me when I say that that is acceptance."

Ginny looked up at him. "Don't you feel ignored by them? I see the looks of scrutiny."

He looked at her with love in his eyes. He had always told her that he loved when she worried about him. "It's not that bad, Gin. Besides, I'm willing to endure worse if it means being with you."

A pop from outside the front door, followed by a knock, caught her attention. She dropped a quick kiss onto Draco's lips. "Just try to initiate conversations a bit more?"

She waited for him to nod, before opening the door to reveal George carrying his daughter Roxxy, and Angelina holding a pot of cookies.

"Afternoon, sis," George greeted with a smile.

"Thank you for coming," she said, stepping to the side and letting them in. She accepted the pot of cookies. "These look delicious."

"I've got a few toys out for Roxxy," Ginny added, pointing to the corner of the room where a makeshift play area was set up.

Angelina smiled, took Roxxy from George, and headed over to the play area.

"Malfoy," George greeted with a handshake. "Been up to much?"

"I've been working on Ministry stuff mainly." Draco paused thoughtfully before clearing his throat. "Actually, there's something I wanted to show you."

George glanced over at Angelina, then to Ginny, before nodding. "Sure, lead the way."

Ginny held her breath as they walked off to Draco's office. Draco had a few provisional laws that passed through his desk, and one of them would really benefit George's business. Draco had originally asked Ginny to tell George, but Ginny argued that Draco should show George himself. She watched Draco walking away, getting lost in his stride for a moment.

Another pop outside made Ginny tear her attention back to the door. It looked like most of the other Weasleys had arrived together. Mum, Dad, Ron, Hermione, Bill, and Fleur were all there. Victoire was in Bill's arms as Fleur was just a few weeks away from giving birth again. A second pop, moments after, announced the arrival of Percy and Audrey.

"Good afternoon." Ginny grinned, holding the door open wider and letting them in.

Soon, everybody was seated around the table in loud conversation. It felt like a moment of love straight out of Ginny's childhood.

Ginny stood up, ready to make her announcement, and looked around. "Right, okay. I have something to say."

Draco took her hand and stood to join her. The Weasley's looked at the couple expectantly.

"It's time that we are all honest with ourselves about our expectations of one another," Ginny continued, squeezing Draco's hand tightly, and struggling to find the right words. She needed them to react with love. She couldn't face any sort of rejection right now. Her eyes began to well up at the fear.

"What Ginny is trying to say," Draco continued, giving her a look of adoration, "is that we're expecting a baby."

"Start with that next time!" Bill said with a laugh, standing up. "Congratulations!" Bill's laugh seemed to diffuse the tension, and Hermione quickly followed.

"How far along are you?"

"Two months."

"Another Weasley!" her mother announced, coming over for the hug and sweeping Draco into it. "You might not like hugs, but today you'll deal with it."

"Yes, Mrs Weasley."

Ginny let the tears fall down her cheeks as this moment was engraved into her brain. She hadn't dared to hope for this. The amount of love that exploded over the announcement shocked her. It had been exactly how she had always imagined it!

"You're not upset?" she whispered to her mum during a quiet moment.

"Upset? Over another grandbaby? Of course not! I would like it if you two came to visit me and your father more, though."

"I didn't want to create tension."

"Sweetheart, I might not be a Malfoy fan, but Draco has shown that he loves you. He's part of the family now."

Ginny laughed and drew her mum into a big hug. "I love you, Mum."

"I love you too, baby girl."
