About 20 mins. go by and Heatwave went to check on his sister. He knew she wasn't in her right mind since losing Bee.

He found her sitting on the shower floor with her knees up against her chest. It saddened him to see her like that. He picked her up and shut the water off. He hugged her. He had no idea how bad she was hurting 'til he found her on the shower floor.

"Sis, I had no idea you were hurting this bad. Let's get you dried off, then you and I will sit down and talk before we bury Bumblebee."

I looked at my twin brother and gave him a small smile and nodded. I even gave him a kiss on the cheek. "Thanks bro. I'm sorry to be a burden."

"Blue, you're not a burden. I love you, sis. That will never change."

"Why do I hurt so bad I wanna tear my spark out?"

"I can't answer that, sis. That's something you have to answer yourself. In time, you'll have that answer."

"I need to talk to Blades. I need to see if he found a spot to bury Bee."

"Then let's go talk to him. After, I'd like to help you get ready."

"I'd like that, bro. I think Sunny has some nice waxes on hand."

"I wouldn't be surprised if he did. It is nice to see him again. I was able to tolerate him when he was showing his art with Boulder."

"Sides is the worst. Him and his pranks. He hasn't stopped, either. That's why I was always turning him in. I always felt for Sunny. He was dragged into his brothers' pranks."

"Suntreaker does do good work."

"Yeah, he does. Maybe I can get him to paint a portrait of Bee for me."

I walked up to Blades and asked him if he found a spot to bury Bee.

"Yes, I did. Would you mind if I said a few things at his funeral?"

"I was hoping you would, Blades. In fact, I expect everyone to say something nice at his funeral."

"Even us, Blue?" I looked down at Cody and nodded. "Even your family, Cody. I wanna thank you for helping my brother and his team for getting acclimated with your family and the planet in general."

"It was an honor, Blue. I'm glad I could help."

"Honor was ours, Cody. You've been a big help." Then my brother looked to me.

"What?" He just smiled.

~You have something going on, don't you?~

~Not saying a word. Your comm. should be buzzing anytime though.~

~What are you talking about?~

~You'll see.~

I gave him a weird look then shook my head back and forth. 'What is he really talking about?'

Just then, my comm. was buzzing. I answered it. "Hey beautiful."

"I…am I dreaming? I…I thought…"

I looked at Heatwave, who nodded at me. "Its really him, sis. This wasn't my idea."

"There was more to the message I left when I had done what I did. You didn't watch the whole video, did you?"

"I couldn't. What you did was wrong, Bee."

"I know and I shouldn't have done it. It was cowardly, but if I had confronted Optimus about it, I would have hit him, which results in time in the brig."

"We don't have a brig at the scrapyard, though."

"Exactly. He couldn't put me in the brig if we don't have one. But, he could still reprimand me, regardless."

"He said he was ashamed of what you did. I do have to agree with him on that. I am too. Where are you anyway?"

"Training center on the mainland."

"I'm coming to see you then. I'm also bringing Blades. He will be so happy."

"Don't tell him."

"Alright. I missed you."

"I missed you too, beautiful. I can't wait to see you again."

"That won't be long."

"See you both soon." Then I ended the call. I looked at my brother. "You can be an afthole at times, you know that."

"I'm just glad you're happy again, sis. You looked so sad and it hurt my spark to see you like that."

"What was the rest of the message that I didn't hear?"

"I don't know. You'll have to ask your minicon friend about that. I'll go get Blades."

"Don't tell him that Bee is alive. It's a surprise."

"Will do."

I searched for the right frequency to call Fixit at the Scrapyard. Once I found it, I called him.

"Fixit, this is Bluesteel. Do you read me?"

"Loud and clear, Lieutenant. What can I do for you?"

"I was told there was more to the video that I watched."

"Yes, there was. I was surprised you didn't finish watching it."

"I couldn't. After watching Bee rip his spark out like that was bad enough."

"I understand, Lieutenant. If you would like, I can play it here and you can listen to it?"

"That would be good, Fixit, thanks." Then Fixit played the video and I listened to the whole thing.

"Thanks Fixit. I have a question. I know you're not a medic, but maybe you can still answer this."

"I'll do my best. What is your question?"

"If there's a small sliver of a mech's or femme's spark after, say, crushing it with their own hands, is there still a small chance of that mech or femme to be brought back online?"

I heard Fixit tapping on the controls. "It is possible. Are you thinking of doing that with Bumblebee? That was what he wanted."

"I know it is. Not sure if I'm going to do it. He should rest it peace. To be war free for eternity."

"True, but he knows this planet better than we do."

"I also know this planet better than you all do. I was with Team Prime during the war. I was dispatched to travel around the globe after the war was over. Been here the whole time."

"I never knew that. Let me know when the funeral is so I can have everyone ready to go through the ground bridge."

"Will do, Fixit. Thanks." Then I ended the call. I didn't tell him that Bee is already back. I'll let him do that.

Blades and I walked through the ground bridge portal to the training center on the mainland.

Ratchet walked up to me and pulled me aside. "This goes against what I do as a medic."

"This was not my idea, Ratch. I was going to bury him this afternoon."

"Then whose idea was it?"

"It was Bee's idea. Ask him."

"I did. Your brother asked me to come get Bumblebee's body and the small sliver of his spark."

"Then that's why he was able to be brought back? The small piece of his spark. I asked Fixit about that. He had looked it up and said it was possible."

"You didn't tell him that Bumblebee was reactivated?"

"Nope. Where is my buzzing Bee?"

"Med bay. Come on."

"Hold on. Let me get Blades. He doesn't know that Bee is back."

"I have to ask this. You called Bumblebee your buzzing bee. Why?"

"He asked me to bond with him before I was told to ground bridge to the Griffin Rock firehouse."

"Congrats Blue. When you were out on patrol with Arcee, he talked about you."

"And Raf could understand what he was saying."

"True, but he kept it to himself. I caught him smiling once in a while when Bumblebee talked about you."

"Raf is a good kid. I'm glad he pursued a career in medicine."

"I am too. He's been a big help. I've even adopted him when he told me that his family had passed away."

"Congrats…dad." Ratchet chuckled. "He does call me that now. Its hard to get use to being called that."

"You are his father now, so get use to it. I always thought of you like a father figure, as well."

"You never gave me problems."

"I know your rep. for hitting mechs with wrenches."

I turned and walked over to Blades. "Hey, there's something in med bay we need to see. Come on."

"Why do we need to go to med bay? I don't need anything fixed."

"Trust me." Blades nodded then followed Ratchet and I to med bay. I was practically jumping for joy to see my buzzing bee again. Blades noticed and said I was acting weird.

"Not really."

"You're always this excited to go to med bay?"

"No, but this time I am. You'll see."

We walked into med bay and Blades couldn't believe who was sitting on the repair table. Bee waved at us.

"Hey Blades. Its good to see you again."

Blades looked at me. "I'm confused. I thought he was…"

"He was. Heatwave asked Ratchet to come get him. Apparently, it was Bee's wish to be reactivated if something happened to him."

"But, didn't he crush his spark with his bare hands?"

"I did do that, Blades, but there was a small piece that survived the crushing. Even though I left the team without a leader, I knew I was leaving Blue without a mate. That's why I left the message in the video."

I had walked up to Bee and hugged and kissed him. I missed him so much. "You didn't tell my team yet, did you?"

"Actually, they're my team now, but no, I didn't."

"Your team?"

"They voted me in as the new leader. Not my idea. I didn't want the position. I also didn't want the rank of Lieutenant, either."

"Who's idea was that?"

"Ask Strongarm."

"I will. I'm just glad to be back."

"I'm glad you're back, too, love. I didn't want my brother's team. You saw the look on my face when I was told to go to Griffin Rock."

"Yeah, I did. I wasn't happy either. I wanted to go after you and bring you back, but knew that Optimus would have stopped me."

"You're right. He would have." Then I turned to Ratchet.

"Did you take him back to Cybertron to stand trial?"

"Yes, I did. Right before I was asked to reactivate Bumblebee. He's been relieved of the Matrix. They chose another Autobot to take his place."

"Who, if I may ask?"

Ratchet pulled out the Matrix from his subspace pocket and handed it to me. "Hell no. I didn't sign on for that."

"They had been watching you. They chose you for a reason, Blue. You have been chosen to be the next Prime. Its been written in the history books."

"I don't wanna be the next Prime, Ratch. I'm a soldier, not a leader."

Bee put his hand on my shoulder. I looked over at him. "I can't, Bee. Too much responsibility."

"How do you think I feel at times when I can't get my team to listen?"

"You have Sides not listening. Everyone else listens to you, Bee."

"Well, maybe with Sunstreaker here, Sideswipe will actually listen this time. I got tired of his pranks all the time."

"You and me both, love."

Bee and I looked at Blades and saw the look on his face. "He's still in shock, babe."

"So, he is. Blades, what's wrong?"

"I'm confused."

"What are you confused about?"

"Why don't you wanna be the next Prime?"

"Like I said, too much responsibility."

"But, you have help from everyone. Why not take it?"

"I'm a soldier, Blades. I've never been a leader."

"I beg to differ, Bluesteel. You're a great leader."

I turned to Blurr. "Maybe during the simulations, but not in real life, Blurr."

"I still think you're a great leader and would do well in real life."

"I appreciate the compliment, but I'm not leadership material."

"And I was?"

"You had someone to model your leadership from, Bee. I don't."

"Give it a shot. I'll help you. I'm sure everyone will too. Even your brother would."

"He is a good leader. Maybe if I train with him and his team I can get a feel for what a good leader does." Then I called him on my comm.

"What's up, sis? What was with the mixed emotions?"

"I have a major dilemma and I need your input."

"Ok. What is it?"

"I'm being given the Matrix since Optimus was deemed unworthy of being a Prime. The high counsel was informed by Ratchet of what he did and stripped him of the Matrix. Its written in the history books that I am to be the next Prime, but I know nothing about being a leader."

"Are you wanting to see how I lead my team?"

"Yeah, actually. Is that cool with you, bro?"

"Of course. Does that mean you're giving Bumblebee his team back?"

"Yep. He's going to shock the oil out of them when he shows up at the scrapyard."

"I would love to see that, but we've been busy here."

"I'm glad. Bet Kade is glad you're back."

"Yeah, he is. Tell Sunstreaker thanks for teaching me how to use a gun. I target practice every day now."

"He let you keep it?"

"Yeah. No one told you?"

"No. I will be asking him about that though. I'm gonna go ahead and send Blades back. I wanna spend some time with Bee before I come over there for my vacay."

"Real quick. How is Jazz?"

"He's doing better. Ratchet has been working on his voice modulator in between working on Inferno."

"Glad I was able to help out with the rescue mission. I hope to do it again."

"Maybe after you have some training. Drift is allowing me to train you in the martial arts when I get there."

"Good. I could use a sparring partner."

"And I'll kick your aft, bro."

"You wish, sis."

"No, I know I will."

"I'll see you a bit later today, sis." Then he ended the call. I shook my head and chuckled.

"What's so funny?"

"Heatwave thinks he's gonna kick my aft in a sparring match."

"I've seen you spar against Sideswipe and kick his aft. Drift taught you well."

"Thanks. Blades, I told my brother I was sending you back. I'll be there later. Gonna spend some time with Bee before heading over. Tell Cody he can come with me on the rescues. I'll need a guide."

"I'm sure he'll like that. He gets tired of being in the command tower."

"I bet. I'll see everyone later today." Blades nodded then walked through the ground bridge portal. Bee had Salvage open it for Blades.
%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%

"Shall we take the ground bridge to the scrapyard and scare the heck out of everyone?"

"Sure."

"Before you both go, are you taking the Matrix, Blue?" I looked at Bee, who looked back at me.

"Its up to you, Blue. Its your decision." I turned to Ratchet.

"Yeah, I am. I'm gonna watch my brother lead his team and maybe get a feel for what it means to be a good leader." Ratchet handed me the Matrix and I opened my chest and inserted it.

"You have a lot of friends to help you, Blue. You'll do just fine."

"Thanks Ratch. That means a lot coming from you. Promise me you won't hit anyone else with a wrench?"

"You know I can't promise that."

"I know, just thought I'd try. It was good to see you again, old friend."

"I'm going back with you and Bumblebee. My ride is on its way."

"I didn't know. Kinda wish you'd stay. We really don't have a medic. Fixit is ok, but he's not you, Ratch."

Ratchet looks to Bee. "I'm fine with you staying on, Ratchet. She is right. We don't have a medic, per se. Fixit does minor repairs, but he can't do what you do."

"Then I'll stay on. Do you mind if Raf is with me?"

"He's Ratchet's son now. He legally adopted him after Raf lost his family."

"Of course he can come. It'll be good to see him again."

"Then let's go. Its gonna be nice to see everyone again."

The 3 of us walked through the ground bridge and walked into the scrapyard that was on the other side.
%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%

"Hey Fixit. Everyone behaving themselves?"

"As much as they can, Lieutenant." Then he looked up to see who had asked that. He was shocked to see Bee.

"I thought…"

Bee smiled. "I was. Long story."

"I'm also giving Bee his team back. They were never really my team."

"I don't know about that, Blue. We would have followed you." I turned towards Strongarm.

"I know you would have, Strongarm, but this is Bee's team. It will always be his team."

"And you will be my 2nd in command, Blue." I looked at him shock.

"Are you sure you wanna do that, love?"

Strongarm looked at us in shock. "When did you 2 get bonded?"

We looked at each other then at Strongarm. "We haven't yet, Strongarm. We haven't even set a date or made plans."

"Well, congrats Lieutenant."

"Thanks Strongarm."

"We're gonna have to set up some kind of makeshift med bay for Ratchet."

"You're right. Maybe Denny has something we can use."

"My dad won't give up anything that he can't make money off of, Bee."

We looked towards the voice. We looked down and saw Russell.

"He may not have a choice, Russell. We need to make a med bay for Ratchet."

"Don't say I didn't give you a heads up, Blue."

"I got it, Russell. Your dad is cheap."

"In a nutshell. You didn't hear that from me, though."

"My lip components are sealed."

Bee saw my smile after I said that. He groaned. I looked at him. "What?"

"Nothing. Its not for youngling ears to hear."

Russell looked at us weirdly. "Someone round your age is considered a youngling on Cybertron. Even though they are about the height of my hip, they are the equivalent of a child around the age of 12."

"Oh ok. You have adult things to talk about?"

"Yeah, that's exactly what it is. You're pretty smart."

"Thanks. I've learned a lot from Bee's team."

"Hey, my internal clock is telling me that its going on 1p. I'm gonna have to head to Griffin Rock soon."

"Then let's go for a walk."

"Sounds good to me, my buzzing bee."

We headed for the woods up behind the command center. "Do you really want me to be your 2nd in command, Bee?"

"Yes, I do. I won't be able to leave anyone else in command if I'm down for repairs."

"You don't want someone like Strongarm to take command? I think she would be a better choice than me, love."

"I disagree. Strongarm would let it go to her head. So would Sideswipe."

"What about Drift or Grimlock?"

"Grimlock? Are you serious?"

"It was a thought."

"Drift has enough with his minicons, so he's definitely out. Grim, definitely not."

"What happened to Windblade? Wasn't she part of your team?"

"Yeah, she was. She chose to go back to Cybertron."

"Why? I thought she still had caches all over the place?"

"She does, but without her, we can't access them."

"Then, she should be here. She could have weapons we could use against Steeljaw and his rejects."

"Don't count Steeljaw out just yet, Blue. He's a tough one."

"He's not as tough as Megatron was."

"True, but he's still a threat."

"I will say this only cause I do like wolves. I love his bipedal mode."

"I had a feeling you were going to eventually mention that."

"You're not jealous, are you?"

"No, of course not. I can't see you dating a Decepticon like him, anyway."

"I don't want him, anyway. I just happen to like his bipedal mode. If I could, I'd have a wolf howling at the moon on my arm."

"I kinda like that idea, beautiful. Maybe even my name in Cybertronian on the other arm."

"I could think of a better place for that, handsome."

"Kinky, aren't you?" Then he kissed me. He loved me so much and I loved him just as much.
