I knew it couldn't be true. That mech was lying. I don't even know how he tapped into my bond with my brother. I needed to find Jazz and report to him. I was late reporting in. I knew who I could call if I can't get a hold of Jazz. I knew the twins were part of our team, even for a short time.

I tried to call Jazz and got no answer. I tried Sunny next. I was in luck. I managed to get a hold of him.

"Where the frag are you, Blue? We've looked all over for you."

"Heh, sorry Sunny. I got lost. I can't get a hold of Jazz. I'm late reporting in. I also have someone following me saying he's my brother."

"Could be a Decepticon trap. Be careful. Sides and I will meet up with you ASAP."

"No. Like you said, could be a Decepticon trap. Jazz would kill me if he knew you 2 got seriously hurt."

"So would Ratchet."

"Naw. He knows not to mess with me. What about Drift? He's part of the Spec. Ops. team."

"I can do that. I'll send him to your position."

"Thanks Sunny." Then I ended the call.
%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%

The Scrapyard. "I hated lying to her like that."

"I know Sunstreaker. I'll talk to Drift and explain what's going on. I know he won't like lying to her, either. At least she knows her name. What I don't understand is why does she remember you, your brother, Drift and Jazz?"

"We're the Spec. Ops. team, Bee."

"No offense, Sideswipe, but you both stick out like a sore thumb with your bright colors."

"We know how to camouflage ourselves. The reason Jazz had us on his team is cause we are ruthless on the battlefield."

"Glad you're not that way off the battlefield."

"We are too. Uhm…"

Sunny looked at his brother with a death glare.

"What's going on you 2?"

~He needs to be told, bro.~

~Its going to crush him though. He could do the same thing again.~

~If we don't tell him, then he's going to find out from Blue and it'll be even worse.~

Sides sighed. "Alright you 2. Spill it."

The twins looked at each other then at Bee and sighed. "Blue was dating Jazz before you. She…"

"I don't wanna hear any more, Sideswipe. I get it. I'll go talk to Drift." Bee walked away feeling worse than he did earlier.

"I told you it was going to crush him, Sides."

"And I told you it would have been a lot worse if she told him."

Ratchet noticed that the twins were arguing about something and walked over to shut them up.

"What the frag are you 2 arguing about? I'm trying to finish up with Jazz."

They stopped arguing and looked at Ratchet. He saw the look on their faces and facepalmed.

"You idiots told him, didn't you?"

They nodded their heads in silence. "You 2 are so lucky I don't have a wrench in my hand right now to hit you upside the head for being stupid. Now, I have to finish repairing Jazz and have him go after her. But first, I have to talk to Bumblebee and explain further cause you fraggers can't keep your mouths shut."

The twins lowered their heads in shame. They felt really bad for breaking the bad news to Bee. Sunny looked up at Ratchet again. "If we didn't say anything now, then when Blue comes back, she's going to tell him and its going to be worse. Or if he saw her with Jazz, we didn't want a fight to break out between them."

"Hmm, you make a good point, Sunstreaker. You're not as big of a fragger as your brother."

"Good to know. We are sorry though, Ratchet."

"I know, Susntreaker. I'm almost done repairing Jazz. Once he's back online, I'll explain everything and send him out to find her. Then I'll talk with Bumblebee and explain everything to him."

"I think he got the gist of it, Ratch. He didn't want to hear any more of it."

"He's spark broken, stupid."

"I'm leaving you 2 to it."

They nodded and watched Ratchet go back to finishing up with Jazz.
%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%

Another hour later and Jazz was repaired and back online. He slowly sat up and asked what happened.

"Do you remember anything from the rescue mission, Jazz?"

"Yeah, a little. Why?"

"Bumblebee needs the current situation explained to him. He's spark broken right now."

"Spark broken? He's the happiest mech here right now."

"Blue's mind has been wiped after she went up against Slashmark the other day."

"Oh no. I thought this would happen."

"You knew about this?"

"Back on Cybertron, my team went up against the Stunticons and she was captured. I spent every waking moment looking for her. When I did find her, she didn't know who I was or who she was. I took her to First Aid and that's when I found out someone messed with her head, literally. Anytime she goes up against them, her mind gets wiped of anything recent. The last thing she will remember is the mission and our relationship."

"You and Blue are mates?"

"Before she left Prime's team, yes. I had ended it with her so it wouldn't hurt but told her I'd stay her friend."

"But she won't remember that. Just everything before Optimus recruited her."

"Exactly. Where is she?"

"She took off for Crown City. She went looking for you. She still thinks she's on Cybertron."

"Not good. I'll call her and find out where she is."

"There's more. She doesn't believe Heatwave that they're twins."

"He was also on my team before joining the rescue bots. He's a damn good fighter."

"Then why doesn't she remember him?"

"She was deep undercover at the time of his departure from my team. He had blocked her in their shared bond for so long, that she thought him to be dead."

Just then, Bee walked up to them. "Jazz? Its good to see you up and around."

"Its good to be up and around. I'm sorry about Blue. When I get back, I'll tell you the whole story."

"I know you were dating her before she joined Optimus' team." Bee took his ring off and handed it to Jazz. "Just take good care of her. She may never remember me at this point. I can't lead my team and wonder about her and what's going to happen with my now failed relationship."

Jazz took the ring and put it in his subspace pocket for now. "You did nothing wrong, Bee. Her head was literally messed with."

"Either way, I can't worry about her and lead my team. Just promise me you'll take good care of her, Jazz."

"Of course, Bee. I am very sorry, though."

"I know you are." Then he looked at Fixit. "Send Jazz the last known coordinates for Bluesteel."

"Right away, Lieutenant."

"Got it, Fixit. Thanks." Then he transformed and headed for Blue's last known.

Bee watched his friend leave. If he hadn't of known that Jazz and Blue were together a long time ago, he still could have tried to get her back. Guess he'll never know now.

Ratchet watched Bee walk away dejected. He felt for his friend. It wasn't right that he lose the one femme he'll ever love in his life.

"Bumblebee, why don't you come over here and talk with me. We haven't talked since you and Blue had started dating 2 decades ago."

"Nothing to really talk about, Ratchet. I've lost her." Then he turned around and walked over to Ratchet and sat down.

"You didn't lose her friendship, did you?"

"Well, no. I don't want to go back to being her friend, Ratchet. Not when I want to spend the rest of my life with her."

"You may have to start over as friends and work your way up. I know it will be hard. I've seen you bounce on your feet every time you are around her. Optimus even saw it. He was fine with you 2 together as long as the mission was first."

"We always put the mission first. Every time you and I would talk about her, I know Raf understood everything I said."

"Yes, he did. To this day, I don't know how he understood you."

"I stopped asking myself that a long time ago. How is he?"

Just then the ground bridge portal opened and Arcee and Raf walked through.

"Ask him yourself. Looks like they just arrived."

Bee walked up to Raf and Arcee. Raf didn't even recognize Bee until he spoke. Bee kneeled down to Raf's level.

"Hey Raf. How's everything?"

"Bumblebee? Is that you?"

"Sure is. Like my new look?"

"Yeah. I didn't even recognize you. Has Ratchet told you that he's adopted me?"

"No, he didn't. What happened to your family?"

"I lost them in a car accident."

"So sorry to hear that. I know Ratchet will take good care of you."

"He helped me get into medical school on Cybertron. That's where I've been all this time."

Bee rolled his optics. "So, we have a mini-Ratchet on our hands." Then he chuckled a bit. Raf did too.

"He's not that bad, Bumblebee."

Bee stood up and faced Ratchet. "I beg to differ, Ratchet. He yelled at Miko like you did to everyone when you needed something."

Ratchet looked at Raf. He just shrugged and Ratchet smiled in return.

Bee looked at Arcee. "How've you been, Arcee? I haven't seen you since the war ended."

"Been keeping Jack out of trouble, like usual."

"When is he coming by?"

"I need to go pick him up. Wanna go with? You look like you need to get away for a bit."

"Yeah, I do. Its been a complicated day for me."

"Tell me all about it on the way to Crown City. That's where Jack is."

"That's where Blue, Drift, Heatwave and Jazz are too. Long story."

"Something tells me its not good."

"That sums it up in a nutshell, Arcee. Let's go get Jack."
%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%

Crown City. Drift and Jazz finally found Blue and Heatwave. They couldn't believe that Blue and Heatwave were mixing it up. They are twins. Family. Jazz and Drift jumped in. Drift stopped me and Jazz stopped Heatwave.

"Let me go, Drift! I'm going to rearrange his face!"

"I did not teach you to be ruthless and uncaring, Bluesteel. That is not how a martial artist should act."

"He snuck up behind me and pounced. Only a Decepticon would do that."

Jazz looked at me. "He's not a Decep, Blue. This is your twin brother."

"My brother died during the beginning of the war. He's an imposter."

Heatwave dropped to his knees when he heard that. "How…how can you say that, sis? I'm right here, alive and well."

"Stop calling me that! I'm not your sister, you Decepticon rat!"

Jazz looked at Drift. "Get her back to the scrapyard and have Ratchet run some scans over her. Something is seriously wrong with her."

"I agree, Jazz. This is not how I taught her. I am very disappointed in you, Bluesteel."

Then Drift called for a ground bridge. Jazz stayed with Heatwave until Drift and Blue left.

Once the ground bridge portal closed, Jazz asked Heatwave if he'll be ok. Heatwave looked at him.

"No. I will never be ok, but I have to move on and lead my team back on Griffin Rock. I should probably head back there, anyway." Then he called for a ground bridge to Griffin Rock. Once he walked through the ground bridge, Jazz knew that Heatwave may never want his twin sister back there ever again.
%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%

The Scrapyard. Ratchet ran scans over Blue and can't seem to pinpoint what the problem is. Ratchet looked to Drift. "Is Jazz sure there's something wrong with Blue? I can't find a thing wrong since her mind was wiped after her fight with Slashmark."

"That is what Jazz said. Are you sure there is nothing wrong with her? She denied her brother before I brought her back here."

"She did what? Are you sure?"

"I am very sure. I watched her tell her brother that. It broke my spark to see her so…cold and unfeeling."

"I'll take care of her from here, Drift. Why don't you go relax or whatever you do to let off some steam. I will also call Jazz and let him know."

"Thank you, Ratchet." Ratchet nodded then called Jazz to tell him the findings on Blue.
%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%

Griffin Rock firehouse. Cody and Frankie had just arrived when Heatwave came through the ground bridge portal.

"Hey Heatwave. Where's your sister? Frankie wanted to meet her."

"Please don't mention her again, Cody. It's a touchy subject right now."

"Is everything ok, Heatwave? Anything I can do to help?"

"Not right now, Cody. I do appreciate the offer, though. I just need to be alone right now."

"You know how to get a hold of me if you change your mind and want to talk." Heatwave nodded and headed off to blow off some steam.

Frankie and Cody looked at each other. "That didn't go well."

"No, it didn't. I'll leave him alone for a while."

"What about calling one of her friends?"

"I'm not sure Heatwave would like that right now. He's really hurting right now."

"It doesn't hurt to try, does it, Cody?"

"It does if you don't want Heatwave getting upset with you."

"Aren't you a bit curious as to what happened between them?"

"Kinda. Let's do it. Let's get Blades to do it."

Just then, Blades and Dani came down the elevator that leads to the flight deck.

"Hey Cody. Hey Frankie."

"Hey Dani. Hey, Blades can you do something for us?"

"Sure. What do you need?"

"We were wondering if you could contact Bumblebee and see what happened between Heatwave and Bluesteel."

"Is Heatwave back with her?"

"She didn't come with him. He's upset right now. He doesn't want her brought up around him, either."

"We can go contact Bumblebee. Let's go."

"Don't forget that we're going back out in 2 hrs., Blades."

"I know, Dani. I'll be ready."
%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%

The control center of the firehouse for the bots. Blades, Cody and Frankie were trying to get in contact with Bee to find out what was going on.

Fixit answered the call. "Can I help you?"

"I'm Blades and I was wondering if Bumblebee was available?"

"I will call the Lieutenant right now and have him call you on the comms."

"Thank you, but my Human friends would also like to know as well."

"Understood. Give me a min. to call him." Then Fixit called Bee on his comms.

"What is it, Fixit?"

"You have Blades on the comms. here at the command center. He wants to know what is wrong with Bluesteel and Heatwave."

"I'll be right there. I'll bring Jazz too. He can explain it better."

"Alright Lieutenant."

"Did you get that, Blades?"

"Yes, I did. I can wait."

Blades asked Cody and Frankie if they knew what happened. They had no clue, that's why they were hoping that Bee would have some answers.

Bee came on screen along with Jazz. "Hey Blades. Everything ok? Is there another energon eater there?"

"No. I wish it was. I miss my best friend."

"Aw, I miss you too, Blades. You were a big help when your team was down. What can I do for you?"

"You remember Cody, don't you?"

"Of course. He was also a big help."

"Thanks Bumblebee. It was an honor to help you out. We're worried about Bluesteel and Heatwave. My friend, Frankie here, wanted to meet her."

"Unfortunately, Blue isn't herself anymore."

"Can you explain further, please?"

"Let my friend Jazz tell you what exactly happened. How is Heatwave?"

"He's not very talkative right now. He doesn't want Blue's name mentioned around him right now."

Then Jazz came on the screen. "So, back on Cybertron, Blue was part of my Spec. Ops. team. She had gone deep undercover. So deep that when we had a skirmish against the Decepticons, she had to fight with them in order to keep from getting her cover blown. When she came back, we got a lot of info thanks to her. Just today, we went head to head with the Stunticons. She went against one of them and after the fight, she acted like she didn't know Bumblebee. She only remembers those that are on my team. Like me, the twins and Drift."

"So, what exactly happened to Blue?"

"I'm thinking her mind was literally messed with, but I can't prove it. Ratchet hasn't come up with anything that shows her mind has been messed with."

"Is that why Heatwave is upset?"

"He's upset cause Blue flat out said that she didn't have a brother. That he died early in the war."

"Ouch. That's harsh."

"Yeah, it is. Blades, is it?"

"Yeah. What do you need?"

"We need you to keep an optic on Heatwave. He shouldn't be alone at any time. Especially, since they are twins."

"When he can't, Frankie and I will do it. I'll even talk to my brother, Kade, who is partnered with Heatwave."

"Good idea. You're Cody, aren't you?"

"Yes, I am."

"Bee talks about you a lot. I heard about the energon eater and how you and Blades helped Bee out with it."

"That was scary, but with my help, both of them managed to catch it."

Just then, Heatwave walked into the command center. He noticed they were talking with Bee and Jazz.

"What's going on here?"

"Just catching up with Bumblebee. Have you met his friend, Jazz? He was telling us about a mission he was on back home."

"I've met Jazz when I was there with Bumblebee's team. How are you doing since the rescue mission?"

"Doing much better, Heatwave. I was wondering, with your permission of course, we'd like to have Blades here for a scouting mission."

"Is Bumblebee ok with this?"

Bee came back on the screen. "Of course I am, Heatwave. I told Blades that one day he could come give us hand. Its up to you, though. I know you need him there."

Heatwave looked at Blades. "Would you like to go help Bumblebee's team, Blades?"

"Can I talk to Dani about it and the chief?"

"Of course. Let me know what they say, Blades. It'll be nice to have my best friend here, giving us a hand."

Dani called Cody to see where they are. "We're in the command center for the bots, Dani. Do you need Blades?"

"Yes, I do. Its time to go out on patrol again."

"Alright Dani. I'll send him right now."

"I heard, Cody. I'll talk to her while on patrol."

Blades left and Heatwave, Cody and Frankie were still in the command center. "If you need to talk to Bumblebee, Heatwave, we can leave."

"You don't mind, Cody?"

Cody smiled. "Not at all, Heatwave. We have other things to do." Then Frankie and Cody looked at the screen. "It was nice to talk with you again, Bumblebee. Please come visit again when you have time."

"I plan to, Cody. It was nice to give you guys a hand. Rescue missions are a nice change from hunting down Decepticons."

Cody and Frankie waved to Bee and he waved back, then they left.
%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%

After Cody and Frankie left, Heatwave asked Bee what they really wanted. "They were concerned about you, Heatwave. They wanted to know what happened. I am very sorry about what happened. Ratchet is trying to find out what happened to Blue. When he finds out, I will make sure you are contacted immediately. Concentrate on leading your team for now, ok."

"I will. That's all I have left now. I heard some of the story. Did someone really mess with my sister's head?"

"That's what Jazz thinks. She lost her recent memories after she killed a Stunticon. She only remembers Jazz's Spec. Ops. team. She doesn't even remember that her and I are a couple. Only when her and Jazz were together back on Cybertron."

"Looks like we're both in the same boat. We're both spark broken cause of her."

"Its not her fault, Heatwave. Believe me, I want her back to the way she was before she tussled with the Stunticon."

"You said she killed one. That's not like her."

"No, its not. Drift is not happy with her behavior. He said she was unfeeling, uncaring and cold."

"Yeah, that's definitely not my sister. I know she blocked me on her end of the bond, but when I broke through, I felt confusion and rage. The rage scared me."

"I'm sure it did. Sideswipe and Sunstreaker are with her right now and so is Ratchet. We'll figure out what happened, Heatwave. I give you my word."

"Ok, Bumblebee. Keep me updated on anything Ratchet finds. I can feel her confusion right now."

"Is she reaching out to you?"

No, she's not. She's afraid to."

"Don't reach out to her. Let her do it when she's ready. Let me know if she does."

"I will. I'm glad those twins are helping her."

"Me too. 'Til then. Bumblebee out." Then Heatwave turned the computer off. He put his hand over his spark and could feel his sister. He noticed that she was reaching out, but doing it with caution.

~Hel..hello. Can you help me?~

~Of course.~

~Can you tell me why you said I was your twin sister? I thought I lost my brother at the beginning of the war?~

~No. I was drafted to another team while you were with Jazz's Spec. Ops. team.~

During his chat with Blue, he sent a message to Bee that Blue reached out to him.

Bee called back. "She reached out to you?"

"Yeah. I'm talking with her right now."

"What has she asked you?"

"Why I said she was my twin sister and she thought her brother was killed at the beginning of the war. I told her I was drafted to a different team while she was with Jazz's team."

Bee looked at Blue. "She's got her hand over her spark right now."

"I do too. Bring her over to the computer monitor. Her and I can talk better."

Bee nodded and brought Blue over.

"Hey Bluesteel."

"You're the one who's been talking with me through this…thing."

"It's a bond that twins have. I'd like for you to come here and we can talk in private. I'm sending a friend over there for a bit."

Blue looked to Jazz. "Can I, commander?"

"Of course. Just be careful there, ok."

"I will. Can I get a ground bridge, please?"

"Sure." Then Bee turned to Fixit. "Set a ground bridge to Griffin Rock, Fixit. Heatwave wants to have Blue over there."

"Understood Lieutenant. One ground bridge to Griffin Rock up and running right now."

"I see it. Thanks, Bumblebee."

"Keep me updated." Heatwave nodded and turned the computer off again. Bluesteel walked through the ground bridge and over to Heatwave. He looked over at his sister and nodded.
