Note: Yes I changed certain things for this story like Mycella not being in Dorne but I needed to for it to work. Also yes I do consider Renly a traitor. Stannis was older, he was technically the next in line and even Ned Stark said he was going to declare for Stannis. Renly cared more about games and looking good, he should have supported his brother. Sorry he is a traitor.

Also I'm trying to figure out which house I want Robb to marry from in the North. It's going to be an OC but there are a few options so if you guys have any ideas or suggestions let me know.

Jon Stark formly Snow stood watching as Bran was carried by Hodor with Rickon and Osha falling and two direwolves at the back. When Robb had written asking for him to be released from his vows and naming him a Stark and his heir, Jon had never imagined it possible yet it had happened. And when he told his brother what had happened with the Lord Commander with the dead man rising, his brother had bid him to negotiate with the King Beyond the Wall. It was only thanks to those negotiations that when the Ironborn had attacked his home and hunted his brothers down when they escaped that Jon had been able to save them.

"Pretty Crow," a voice boomed out.

Jon sighs, turning to see Tormound heading his way. The ginger haired man had become someone he considered a friend and trusted but his nicknames and his stories could be outrageous. He had taken a liking to Rickon who had become somewhat wild in the absence of his family and was probably why he clung to Jon most days.

"What?" He asks the ginger haired man.

"The man in chains wants to see ya," Tormound said, describing Maester Luwin, "Mance wants to see ya after that."

Jon nods his head putting his hand on Longclaw, a reminder of the promise to Mormont to send men to help the watch and a reward for saving his life. Ghost moves silently at his side, having grown taller, and walks with him. It's like the direwolves know that not all is safe yet because they stay with their chosen ones at all times though Jon wouldn't have it any other way since they have saved their lives many times.

"Jon, there are letters from Robb and Carina," Luwin tells him, holding them out to him.

Jon grabs them, pausing up on hearing about Carina. They had all feared the worst for her when word had been received that she lived but had been injured and the loss of Sansa was still fresh. Sansa hadn't been a loving sibling but she deserved better than she got, Carina though had a special place in his heart. She was his sister and partner in crime when they were children, she argued against him joining the Night's Watch and argued against Catelyn's treatment of him. He opens her letter first needing to see her words himself.

Jon,

I know you will be reading this and wondering how you can trust the letter so let me start with that. When we were ten after you got over the fever we found out that my mother had prayed for your death. I was so angry because you were sad that we almost ran away and when we couldn't get past the gates we hid in the crypts for three days promising that one day life would be better for us and when I declared that when I had my own home that should anyone say something like that about you again I would have them arrested.

Thank you brother for saving our little brothers from the Ironborn and Jon; I have much to tell you, not all of it I can put in this letter. I want you to know that I am safe and the North will be bending the knee to Stannis and I will become his Queen. Also Stark's will be princesses and princes of the north much like how Done is and I am going to have my choice of guards from the north as well as ladies. Do not worry Jon, I love him but I also write to ask something of you and I know it is not fair. I believe your tale brother of the dead but others will require proof and so it pains me to do so but I ask please brother go to the Wall, get your proof, and then come to King's Landing. We will have much to talk about.

Carina

Jon shook his head, her attempt to run away with him and her promise from when they were children was why she was his favorite. He opens Robb's letter next and it is much of the same though detailing that he would have to at least stay in the capital until the wedding and Catelyn's trial. It worried Jon though that Tywin hadn't been caught, everyone knew how smart and treacherous he was so him being in the wind was a worrisome thing and it was probably why the direwolves were so tense, they could sense danger still.

Wolf Queen*

Carina worried, she worried a lot it seems and the more issues that rose up the more worried she became. They had come up with a plan to help the small folk which seemed to be going in Stannis' favor for now and the wedding was being rushed but the worst had to be the fact that Tywin Lannister had been elusive. His grandchildren were dead either poisoned by his own daughter or executed for being a mad king, his brother and one son were captive while the other was in the wind. It would be smart for him to kneel and face the consequences of his actions but this was a man who got away with murdering children and a princess of Dorne.

Dorne was also a concern, she urged Stannis to find a way to bring them back to the Fold but with Ironborn attacks and Tywin it had been something put on the back burner. There was also the issue of the whispers about how Melisandre had used magic on the orders of Stannis to kill Renly. It wasn't kinslaying directly but others seemed to find it inappropriate which she didn't understand since Renly was committing treason and now because of it the Tyrell's were holed up refusing to budge. She thought they were being foolish since they had already tested Stannis' once before years ago and now they were doing so again. She is interrupted from her thoughts when the door to the library opens and someone she does not know enters.

"If you are here to kill me I must warn I won't go down without a fight," Carina warns.

"My lady I don't plan to kill but I think we can help each other," a female voice says.

Carina looks at the intruder and stops to examine her. The woman has her hair cut short, probably trying to pass for a man or maybe for practical reasons but the most interesting thing is her features. The woman has olive toned skin, dark hair and dark eyes.

"You are dornish," Carina says and the woman nods, "Who are you?"

"I am Sarella Sand," the woman answers.

Carina pauses putting a hand on Freya to stop her from lunging. This is an interesting turn of events indeed, if the daughter of Oberyn Martell was here to try to make an alliance then she would listen regardless of the fact she was a bastard. She waves her hand and what she hears shocks her, that letters that could have stopped the Rebellion had been hidden was a crime but Carina was smart and she knew they needed Dorne so she quickly formed a plan with Sarella to not only bring Dorne to the table but get some type of vengeance as well for the Martell's and hoped Stannis forgave her for making the plan without him.
