[Urahara]
"She's even more vicious than Kushimaru!" Urahara barked out a laugh as he watched Ito Kaguya beat the shit out of Kukui Tanku. "I suppose pain is the best teacher," The boy barely dodged a punch before getting kicked. "At least he managed to unsheath his swords," He then turned to his companion, "So what do you think about the brat, Ameyuri?" Urahara said to his companion who was also enjoying the entertainment they were getting. As it turns out, Ameyuri was on a mission too. She was just waiting and decided to be here. Watching Kushimaru's genin beat the shit out of a lesser genin.
Kukui dodged another few strikes and Shunshined away from Ito. before unleashing an Electromagnetic Murder which Ito swiftly dodged. Ito then unsheathed her sword and sent its wire toward Kukui He summoneed three lightning clones and one suicided themself and sent a shock through the wire. Ito quickly dropped the Nuibari lookalike.
Ameyuri glanced at Urahara and then back at the two fighting, "The boy is an idiot," She looked at the clones, "He should have grabbed the wire and channeled his chakra through it. Normally someone would believe that the clone maneuver he just did was smart but he could have saved a lot of chakra by not using the clone," Urahara nodded at Ameyuri's assessment of the situation. But the brat didn't know chakra flow.
Said brat's clones rushed Ito whilst the original fastened a bandage to his arm. Ito sent three bone finger bullets toward the clones and the original The original dodged with a shunshin but the clones were swiftly taken out.
Urahara sighed, "Pretty sure he doesn't know it. I sparred with the brat once and he did this same thing when I tried to attack with Ninja wire and shuriken but this time another clone threw the electrified mess at me," Urahara would not admit it but he was almost caught off guard by that.
Kukui dashed toward Ito's blade before she could grab it but was swiftly kicked away. Urahara swore he heard a "Nice try" from Ito as Kukui got his ribs abused. and was sent back into a tree. He narrowly dodged Ito spearing her sword at him and he grabbed it and tried to channel lighting chakra into it. 'He still tries. Admirable but stupid. He doesn't know how or he just can't.' Kukui then jumped away from the sword as Ito pulled it back.
"He's doing it all wrong!" Ameyuri sounded personally offended by it, "He's channeling it like wind chakra. Not Lightning chakra. Idiot." Urahara would never understand how Ameyuri just knew these things and he wouldn't try to understand... She did have personal experience with sensors and how they could sense chakra so maybe one taught her?
Ito went back on the hunt and sent both her wire and her sword at Kukui whilst holding part of the wire to ensure she wouldn't lose the blade. The combo trailed the boy who looked to be exhausted. He barely dodged the blade but the Wire wrapped around his arm.
"And game." Urahara grinned, "That makes 20 and 0. He's never going to win. But he's getting a lot better," Ito was powerful. She'd be even stronger than her sensei one day and that scared Urahara. "It was a valiant attempt. He even landed a few good hits. Although for every hit he landed, Ito hit twenty more. Kukui tried to escape the grasp of the wire but he quickly got a sword close to his throat for his troubles. He promptly forfeited.
Ameyuri sighed, "The brat was worse than this? How the fuck did he manage to survive?" She face palmed, "Okay I'm about to do something really stupid," She stood up as Ito shunshined to Urahara and promptly walked to Kukui and Kicked him whilst he was down.
Literally.
"Now that was just mean," Ito chuckled at the sight, "So why's Ameyuri-sama kicking Kukui?" Yeah Urahara wanted to know that too... Ameyuri tended to be impulsive... Oh god she was going to beat the poor child for being an idiot... Hopefully not to death.
Oh well.
Urahara shrugged, "She's probably going to beat him. She wasn't happy when he saw that the brat didn't use chakra flow,"
To Urahara's surprise, after the first kick Ameyuri stopped and Kukui looked up at her. Urahara didn't hear what she was saying but the brat looked like he was thinking. Ameyuri must have gave him an epiphany.
That brat thinking wasn't good.
Suddenly he grabbed his sword and lightning illuminated it and it grew longer. He then threw the blade into a tree and it practically blew it up with the force used.
"Well I'll be damned, Ameyuri taught the brat how to use chakra flow in three seconds..." Chakra flow was hard to learn... Although at least the boy had significant training for his age.
But still.
Urahara turned around and saw Ito grinning and grabbing her sword, "Again!"
This wasn't going to be good.
[Zabuza Momochi]
"Smells like shit here," Zabuza felt naked... He wasn't literally naked but he felt naked. He had his sword sealed and he was under a henge. He could unseal his sword at any moment but he still... It felt wrong, "Smells like blood," Blood was a smell that nobody enjoyed... Well except Kisame but he wasn't here. Fish fuck defected.
Haku took a smell as well and looked to nearly puke, "It smells horrible... Why do we have to do this?" They were going to contribute to the problem of all the blood in Marineford. For such a peaceful town, a lot of their crops were blooded by the criminals that were commonly executed.
Zabuza shrugged, "We do. We still need time to build our followers," Zabuza was glad Jinpachi was doing his own scouting. He could talk freely with Haku. "And you are not ready to fully be my weapon. After this mission you will be ready hopefully." Zabuza glanced forward, "I also need to finish gathering funding," He wasn't getting paid for this job unfortunately but he could at least loot the town once he was done.
Haku looked onward, "Why don't we join the Kirigakure rebellion, Zabuza-sama? We could have plenty of soldiers to help us there and funding," Haku was too naive to understand that the rebellion wouldn't help them. The rebellion would lead the village into despair.
Zabuza looked up and then down at Haku, "You are Naive Haku. The rebellion would only lead Kirigakure into destruction if they took over. I hate Yagura more then them but this is how we eliminate both sides of the coin. Once I become the Mizukage then this village will be made great again. Like it was during lord-thirds time," The Third Mizukage before his death was someone Zabuza greatly admired. He would never be forgotten.
"Why won't they be good for Kirigakure, Surely they wouldn't be worse than Yagura, right?" They would be better. But either leader would lead them into destruction. The rebellion's way of doing things would take longer and be brutal in a different way to what Yagura was doing now.
'It looks like I have not been educating him correctly. I'll fix that later I suppose we're too strapped on time.' Zabuza gestured around them, "The rebellion would lead Kirigakure into an era of Peace and no wars," Before Haku decided to speak, Zabuza decided to continue, "War is very profitable for shinobi. SHinobi fight and do missions for people who are fighting but do not have any men or people who are good enough for the job. The money goes back into the village which funds other ventures and those fund the people and the academy which create more shinobi,"
Zabuza practically saw the gears in Haku's head turn, "So that means more war means more prosperity?" Zabuza nodded, "That means peace would lead into shinobi not being needed and cast aside for things like farming and agriculture which would be doomed to fail here since our land isn't nearly as good as the land of fires or even the land of stones,"
Zabuza nodded, "That would lead into all of our deaths via starvation eventually. Which I am working to avoid. I want to bring a new era of slaughter to our home, Haku. An era of prosperity for this village we live in," The demon of the mist looked forward once more, "For that these people need to die. I am not a fan of killing them because they're weak but for us to win we need to do this,"
Zabuza saw Haku look down and he guessed that he was likely starting to cry, "Okay, Zabuza-sama,"
It then began to snow. "Its a bad day for snow... Lets go find Jinpachi. I think we've done enough recon for now," They hadn't spotted anyone. So they should be relatively okay to begin their slaughter within a few days. Knowing the bastard though, Jinpachi likely killed a few people though. That wouldn't be ideal but they could deal with the aftermath.
Haku nodded, "Okay Zabuza-sama," The two then began walking to the hotel they had set up.
'Something feels off...' Zabuza glanced around, making sure he didn't move his head. Nobody was there with them. But still. Zabuza couldn't shake the feeling that something bad was going to happen. A shinobi shouldn't ignore their intuition... He had to be on guard.
Zabuza idly wondered if Jinpachi felt it too.
[Kukui Tanku]
[Lightning manipulation; Lvl 19:
Increases control of lightning according to level
Lightning jutsu are 19% more effective.
Lightning jutsu cost 19% less
Lightning jutsu are 19% less effective on user]
'I wonder what'll happen if I reach level 100.' I continued to focus my lightning chakra into the lightbulb. Nothing exciting has happened over the last few days other than Ameyrui fucking Ringo telling me how to use lightning chakra for chakra flow... Having someone to tell me what to do for fucking once was nice. I only got kicked once too!
I was also actively sensing. Picking up on anything I could... Which amounted to nothing I couldn't see myself but still. If I had Sage Mode my sensing would likely be way more powerful. 'But I don't have sage mode. I have jack shit right now actually.' And my system was more like a progress tracker than anything most of the time.
'Nothing I can do about it. I'll take anything i can get.' Any bit of help I could acquire was needed. It was nice training with Ito for that reason. Even if I got my ass kicked painfully everytime. I still had gotten far better than I ever was before. I am probably strong enough to beat Choujuro now! I hope at least. Because Kenjutsu and Taijutsu have went way up and if he has better stats in thsoe than I do now I'll call bullshit.
[Basic Kirigakure Taijutsu lvl: 29
Increases ability to use Kirigakure taijutsu style according to level.]
I wondered if I would get anything at level thirty. Like... I haven't gotten anything else this high ever yet so there should be a reward, should there not? Like that'd be nice. Intermediate Kenjutsu hadn't leveled up as much as Taijutsu but it was close.
Intermediate Kenjutsu lvl 14:
Ability to use sword of any kind is increased by 60%]
Man... I had a 60% increase. Kenjutsu has to be my most broken skill... It was hard to level up though. It took literally hours of body breaking spars and training to get to this it was worth it. All for this... If I could get this to 100% then I'd be set with a sword for life.
*Crack*
I looked down and unfortunately saw something horrible... A broken lightbulb... "Damnit. That one lasted for a bit longer at least..." I moved to grab another lightbulb but was stopped by someone stealing my box from me, "Hey!"I turned and saw Urahara, "What was that for!"
The man simply chuckled, "Well A) We don't want you wasting all of your chakra now which leads into B) We're going to go get the next package," Oh... "Don't worry you can get your little toy's back once we get back and you can continue to train and study like your life depends on it,"
I glared at the man inteligently for the last part of that. Ultimately I sighed, "Okay. I assume we head out now?" It was either now or in five minutes. I prefered five minutes but it is what it is if I can't get what I want.
Urahara nodded, "Yep! Now get ready because we're leaving now!" He grabbed my shoulder and I prepared myself Suddenly we were out of our hotel, "Hey I've got our sensor. Lets go!" Ito and Ameyuri were waiting for us apparently.
Ito grinned, "Finally we can go, see you there slowpokes!"
God she had way too much energy.
[Jinpachi]
'Fuckkkkk this is boring.' Jinpachi hated not being able to kill anyone. He was on a job. He was supposed to be killing these people. Or at the very least get some information. But no shinobi were here at all. Quite literally fucking none. His favorite type of missions were to kill those who could fight... Killing those who weren't able to put up a good fight sucks~
Jinpachi sighed as he watched another civilian go through the area. He knew the shinob could be using a henge but he'd see right through it... So he knew that these worms weren't trained. 'Goddamnit why can't there just be someone already? Even a fucking genin I could just nab and torture.' Yes it went against the plan but if he found a genin alone he was gonna have his fun. Besides one little genin, however unlikely that was, wouldn't hurt!
Well it would hurt... Not him or Zabuza or his brat. But the genin wouldn't be happy at all. Torture wasn't something everyone wanted to happen but there are plenty of preferred people to be tortured by than to "The Crimson Bomber" of Kirigaure.
'Ah, memories.'
Jinpachi suddenly felt a lot of powerful chakra and looked up and saw two faces he didn't expect to see. Urahara and Ameyuri Ringo. Two of the most infamous people in Kiri history... He stayed as hidden as possible. 'Attacking them directly would be foolish.' He still had to see what they would do. He needed to observe them. How they moved. How they acted. Its been years since he has talked or even seen either of them.
'It'll be great to kill them.' The genin were probably going to be easy to take out. So he'd save them for last. Jinpachi grinned, even in the henge he had he was instantly recognisable. He knew that too. He had a very distinct and beautiful smile when he got excited.
'Lets not get ahead of ourselves now. I still need to see what they are doing.' He had a guess but it was good to double check. Jinpachi trailed behind them and stopped when he saw the male genin turn around. He quickly shunshined far away. The other three were put on guard.
'Goddamnit of course they have a cheater with them.' How Yagura-Sama allowed Sensors to live was lost on Jinpachi. They were just as much of cheaters as those damn bloodline scum. 'At least they didn't get me.' He had a rough guess as to how big the boy's range was. Roughly 30 meters as that was how close he was to them. 'A fledgling but still dangerous.'
He could go back, report to Zabuza his findings, and plan for an attack.
Or he could continue to press on and maybe get a kill strike on one of the two threats. Jinpachi knew which option he liked better.
Jinpachi closed back in on the four and stopped once he reached 35 meters. They appeared to be at some sort of Supermarket. 'They're supplier!' This was proving to be a successful choice already. Zabuza wouldn't have such a stick up his ass after he heard about this. 'Once we hit them they'll be practically crippled!' Yagura-sama's plan was devious. Destroy all the smaller suppliers and then get the big one.
It was the reason Jinpachi would follow the man to his death.
He allowed him to kill as he pleased too which was just a bonus! He was the best leader ever!
Jinpachi watched as they entered the store. They probably had sealing scrolls to unfortunately, Jinpachi couldn't directly destroy the supplies but he got something very valuable anyways. 'Lets see... If we push up the timetables as much as I think we can then we can truly begin the mission by tomorrow. The biggest slaughter in history... Its going to be wonderful!' Jinpachi's hand reflexively itched to where Shibuki should be. He quickly pulled it back.
'I suppose this is when I take my leave.' When he got too bloodlusted he couldn't control himself. Even then though he wasn't an idiot. If he went in unprepared against a fellow swordsman, Urahara The Crimson Slasher, and two unknown genin. As long as they weren't Jinchurriki or had a Kekkei Genkai then they would be fairly easy to take down.
Jinpachi saw one of the four leave the building and thats when he realized he should take his leave.
'The Shunshin is the best.'
[Chapter end]
I just barely made my 3k word quota for this chapter. Honestly I wasn't feeling this one. But I want to keep my chapter stockpile at five every week so I have to write even if I don't feel like it. Oh well. I'm sure next chapter will be better. *Checks plans* Yeah next chapter should be exciting to write for me. Anyways, in the meantime whilst I wait for my motivation to write the next chapter to come, I shall be writing chapter two of another fic I have planned. No it is not a Naruto fic if anyone cares.
Anyways thanks for reading the chapter! I'll keep this AN short today since I'm sure none of you all like seeing super long AN's. I do if only because I like hearing more about the person who's making the fic if its a good one tbh. Or a bad or a mid one... I like learning about people in general. That just sounded creepy but I'll keep that in.
