[Ito Kaguya]

the last few days had been nothing short of fun for Ito. She and Kukui had been sparring daily whilst having him use the Shunshin. He was no Shunshin no Shisui thats for sure but Ito actually began believing in his words. He might be able to get the Shunshin battle ready and be the second person in history to do so.

And kicking his ass was nothing short of wonderful. Ito could see how he beat a Hunter-nin trainee. Even without help he was a crafty bastard. And Ito always had fun ruining his plans to beat her. She didn't expect him to take control of her wire whilst she was getting cocky but she still managed to beat him with ease. Even whilst being shocked by his lightning.

But he was getting better. And the better he got the more effort she had to put in. She never had anyone challenge her this much before that wasn't a swordsman of the mist holding back! One day he'd be able to make her use her full power. Ito knew that was a fact at this point. He learned incredibly fast when he had help.

Fighting him wasn't all the fun though thankfully! He was good company too. He was an inventor at heart and to could see that. He was full of ideas for lightning attacks. Compressing a whole bunch of lightning into a single ryo was something that nearly beat Ito. He called it. Railgun. Another idea he had wasn't for him but for her. Using her false Nuibari for mobility. She could tie herself to her blade and once it was connected to something or someone. She could pull herself close.

He had a lot of ideas. That was one of her favorite things about this mission. Hearing them. His ideas on torturing someone she assumed was Yagura were rather inventive... Ameyuri-sama also enjoyed listening to his ideas on torture. The Brazen Bull was something of beauty... And with medical attention the torture could last for days! So Yagura wouldn't be having anywhere near a fun time.

Also he had a penchant for stealing a lot. He did it without even realizing it. He did it without anyone realizing it until hours later. It was hilarious.

But the most important thing about him was that he is vigilant. Like Ito had seen seasoned veterans that weren't nearly as vigilant as her current teammate. She knew that what he and his friends went through would make someone be careful but not that careful.

But that was just a bonus for this mission so she didn't really care.

"Ito." Ito's neck snapped over to Kukui as he stopped. "The turtle's blade has arrived." Oh shit. That was the code they had decided on using if they found someone but didn't want to alert them to their presence. But the way he said it made Ito think it was either one of Yagura's personal Anbu or one of the Swordsman of the Mist. Out of the two options the Latter sounded much more pleasing.

Ito glanced to where Kukui was looking at. "I don't see a blade I only see a bag," That meant the person was under a henge. And it was a really good one too. One that made Kushimaru-sensei's look almost like an academic student in Konoha's attempt at a henge. They needed to go and get Ameyuri-sama. Urahara was way the fuck out of this guy's league and not in the good way too.

"Are you kids lost?" Oh fuck he was here. And talking to them, "Do you need an adult to help you get home?" It was like his and was itching toward a sword on his back... The pure desire to kill in his voice made Ito feel like she was choking. It has to be the demon of the mist. Jinpachi had his sword on his side and he'd have killed them by now. There was only Him and Zabuza Momochi left. Kisame defected, Jinin was dead and his sword was now with its rightful weilder. Mangetsu-sama, Ameyuri-sama, and Kushimaru-Sensei were with the rebellion.

that left only the two most phsychopathic people in the swordsman. Only one of them had their sword on their back. Ito's throat felt dry. She couldn't send a chakra flare or they'd die... She also felt like she couldn't move. She needed to grab Kukui and run. Get the fuck away.

Somehow Kukui mustered up the coruage to speak, "No s-sir. Thank you for asking though. We were just about on our way to go home now," He sounded almost perfectly calm except for the stutter at the first part. How he did that in the face of malice as great as that of Zabuza Momochi Ito would likely never get to know. But he might just save them.

The man smiled which looked unnerving, "Alright," His killing aura increased, "Well you two have a safe trip home. You never know who might be out at this hour," Zabuza then turned around and seemingly dissapeared into into the crowed.

Kukui turned around and looked at Ito. Only then did she see his pants were dripping. Kukui pissed himself... Ito didn't blame him. She almost did herself... "We need to get out of here. Now." He grabbed Ito and she felt that they began shunshinning.

The aura of Zabuza seemingly daunted over them as Kukui shunshined them as fast as he could.

They were back at the hotel within seconds and Ito looked at Kukui, "I'm getting Sensei to get you some High Quality Sake if we survive... That was terrifying." She remembered the one time she and Kushimau met Kisame in battle. Even his aura wasn't nearly as terrifying as Zabuza.

Kukui crumpled to the ground, "I don't get paid enough for this," He didn't get paid at all, "How about we go steal beer with Ameyuri-sama and Urahara-sama and hav Kushimaru-sama yell at me when we get back. I have seen some horrifying stuff but that... That was far worse. That feeling was just terrible."

Ito could only agree.

[Zabuza Momochi]

Why the fuck didn't he kill those kids? He could feel their chakra. It was more refined and bountiful than a civilians. He even recognized one of them as a C-rank threat that Yagura had mentioned to him. He was only even that high up because he was the one who blew up the academy. The other one was a Kaguya. And those even without the legendary Shikotsumyaku always grew to be dangerous.

'Maybe I'm growing too soft?' The battle of Hauth was something that even Zabuza had nightmares about. The legendary second coming of the demon of the mist was born because of that battle. Zabuza watched as so many of his men. Not Yagura's. But his. Were cut down because of the attrocities he commited. An entire town full of people with bloodlines was wiped out... He supposed it was fair.

But ever since that day he hadn't been nearly as much of a demon. Even he couldn't deny it... But he wasn't that soft right? Those kids were shinobi. They likely were with whomever were guarding this town since no way in hell are to kids guarding the most important town to the rebellion since Hauth. Unless Terumi had went insane then these two kids were likely just sent with the adults as body shields.

Although... Terumi wouldn't risk a Kaguya... Didn't Kisame mention that Kushimaru had one with him before he defected? Oh fuck this was his student. 'That just makes my choice even more stupid.' Was it pity that they'd die later anyways? Zabuza didn't know.

'Fuck it, it was just pity.' He didn't want to have to be the one to fight Kushimaru afterwards since he feared the man more than he feared Kisame. Yes he feared his comrades. 'Sons of bitches make me look like a saint.' He'd never forget the day they all fought together for the first and last time. The golden era of swordsman came to an end as soon as it started.

A real shame really. But Yagura had to start the civil war.

'Maybe thats why I spared those brats? They were just caught up in this.' One thing Zabuza hated was that barely trained children were forced to fight. It was a waste of man power. At that point why not just send suicide bomber civilians? Save your shinobi until they can be stronger. Yagura was an idiot for that. Also something the Third Mizukage did beautifully. All of his shinobi ere monsters as genin at the age of fifteen. The only reason why he graduated at ten was because he showed potential. But nowadays you could be trained for a year and sent out with just a kunai.

That was one thing Zabuza intended to change. He wanted wars to be truly profitable and not just a meaningless war like this civil-war. He needed his men to be strong. As strong as he was when he graduated at least when they graduated.

"So what are you thinking of, Momochi? See anything?" Jinpachi. The person Zabuza despised most at the moment asked as he seemingly teleported next to him. He was just so annoying and murder happy all the time. Zabuza loved killing but he wasn't so murder happy that he'd cream himself at the smell of blood.

Zabuza glanced back at the man. 'I did. They're genin so you can kill them.' Is what he wanted to say, "Nothing yet but i can feel larger chakra signatures than normal sometimes. There's at least some genin here," Damnit Zabuza why did you have to say that?

Jinpachi's grin somehow stretched wider. "Great! We'll find them and torture them for a bit. How does that sound?" Torturing Genin was just needless... But he agreed to it earlier so he could make Haku his perfect tool. But it still seemed needless.

Zabuza shook his head, "No. We can't alert anybody we're here yet. We still need to finish scouting. They could intercept us and whilst i doubt we're gonna face any threat here we are shinobi. We are supposed to be careful," Jinpachi was closer to a murder hobo than anything really.

Jinpachi rolled his eyes and crossed his arms like a teenage girl, "Hmph your no fun Momochi. Can we torture them soon though?" God Jinpachi acted like a child sometimes. More than usual lately. It was starting to make Zabuza want to go kill someone again.

Zabuza sighed, "Yes we can once we finish the mission,"

That made Jinpachi throw his arms into the sky, "Yay!"

'I wonder if Kisame would come back if I begged him too. He's better than this guy...' Jinpachi was his least favorite member of the swordsman. By a long shot, "I hate children," Except Haku. Haku was his tool so he didn't hate him.

"Hey!"

Ah Jinpachi getting mad at something. Music to Zabuza's ears.

[Kukui Tanku]

Urahara and Ameyuri were understandably on guard after we told them about Zabuza being here. I of course got a change of pants prior to our talk. It had been a short one. But one that put both Jonin on high alert which was wonderful. I have to be around them at all times since I'm a better sensor than them. So there goes my plans to scarf down unhealthy amounts of mint mochi.

Instead we had to prepare for combat.

"Alirght are main priority is killing Zabuza and whoever is with him," Urahara was pacing around the room infront of him, "The best person to face him is Ameyuri so we will have to support her." Lightning vs Water. A match for the ages. "We will support her whilst keeping away whomever is with him. Worst case is one of Yagura's anbu or multiple. We fight to kill then. The best case scenario is that he's here alone and we can all take him on," He then looked at the scariest person in the room, "Alright you know Zabuza best so what do you think he's going to do and how can we counter it,"

Ameyuri for once didn't grin and looked to be deep in thought. "Zabuza was always the stealthiest of us. At least for the short time I've known him. He's likely planning on assassinating us one by one so we'll need to stick by brat two at all times and never split up. He is strong but he won't be able to take us all on. But if he has someone with him then we're likely going to need to kill the other person first. So target them and if we cannot beat them we retreat and make a plan," That was... a good idea.

Ito grinned, "Then we come back with a better plan and kick their asses," I could almost see the false confidence and smile. It was clear as day ho she didn't want to fight Zabuza... I didn't either. I think I lost a few years of my life by being near the man. He lived up to his moniker.

Ameyuri ruffled Ito's hair and grinned. "Exactly. And then we take back the Kubukiribocho for the rebellion and come back with our supplies. But we need to prepare first if we're gonna fight them. You and the other brat are strong but your practically dead meat against a man like Zabuza. Especially you," She blatantly looked at me, "You are average chunin level at the moment. We need to get that up and fast if we wanna have you be useful. Your little Railgun attack won't do anything here against someone as high in power as Zabuza."

Why did I feel dread? I put on a forced smile, "Oh joy... Does this mean I'm gonna be forced to do some grueling training?" Yes. I knew the answer. Ameyuri knew the answer. Urahara who was close to busting his ass off laughing knew the answer. Ito knew he answer. This was probably going to be body breaking training, "Welp this is an excuse to try some real stupid shit I've always wanted to try creating,"

"Thats the spirit! I'm gonna put you and Ito through the gauntlet soon enough don't you brats worry!" The horror that was on Ito's face was worrying. "Now we gotta prepare for the most likely options that we may face. There are three people who might be with Zabuza on this mission that make sense,"

"Jinpachi, One of his personal anbu, or an Anbu squad," Urahara stopped pacing around the room, "Jinpachi is the most likely since he is the last swordsman other than Zabuza and Yagura is saving his best cards for last. Jinpachi could be taken on by me and Ito easily and with the brat backing us from afar up we could beat him within minutes," That was the nicest thing I've heard all day.

"Yeah I think that murderous bastards the one too." The venom in her voice wasn't nearly as much as Zabuza's was but it was still an 'Oh shit.' Moment. "But that is the second best thing we can hope for. Alright then. If we encounter the two we engage them and spit them between us. You two get Jinpachi and I Zabuza with the brat backing me up from afar. If we get ambushed we go for Jinpachi. All of us. Is that clear?"

Everyone nodded.

Ameyuri then looked at the general direction of me and Ito, "You two better prepare because your going to have to go through some really grueling training in the morning." Again Ito gulped. I looked at my stats.

Yeah this should be good enough. With Railgun being at level four and with an EXP boost I would be A OK. Right?

[Yagura Karatachi]

"So how is the search for Utakata going?" Yagura looked at the man he had called. It had taken some prisoners, blood, and even an anbu of his but the man had barely agreed. And Yagura still owed the man a bit for this. Still the man was a good contact to have and he was one of the last people Yagura wanted to be his enemy.

The man smiled wickedly, "I have located the Jinchurriki in a small town in the land of fire." It almost seemed like he hissed like a snake at the mention of the land of fire. A place Yagura hated. This wasn't good news though if Utakata was there still. "But he is currently ready to leave and he will be at the border soon enough."

That made Yagura's face contort into a twisted grin, "Splendid. My men and I can go retrieve him later on. Thank you for your assistance. Orochimaru," Yagura hated the man on a personal level. On a professional one though they were great bussiness partners at the moment.

Orochimaru's snake like appearance did nothing to conceal how terrifying his smile would be to anyone else. "It was a pleasure working with you Mizukage-sama. Now I'm afraid I must depart for now. I must get back to my research," The reason why Yagura hated the man so much was his extensive human experimentation. He could swear the two were married.

Switching his manic grin to a more formal one Yagura had his anbu open the door for the man, "It was a pleasure working with you as well. Orochimaru," With that the man was gone as soon as he came. It was great honestly.

'Now there's two of my plans coming to fruition.' Recently a lot of Yagura's plans hadn't been going so well. Now though he had an oppurtunity to offset those failures. First ith Zabuza and Jinpachi massacred the rebellions uspply line. Then he could take them out in one fell swoop using two Bijuudama. One would be enough but the cockroaches might survive.

Then he can begin rebuilding his forces and making them stronger for a few years. Starting a siege on the world was a very bad idea after getting out of a war. It wasn't something Yagura wanted to do. Besides his men deserved some respite time and he needed to train the Rokubi's next Jinchurriki to be loyal to him and him alone.

'Soon. First we need an appropriate vessel.' Not just anyone could contain a Bijuu. They had to be strong of will and strong in body. 'A shame those four had to be traitors. One of them would have been perfect.' Kukui Tanku, Sanemi, Choujuro, and Himiko Chinoike were four of the greatest ninja the academy had produced in the last ten years. Even if they hadn't even been official genin when they defected. Yagura would have let Himiko live if she swore loyalty to him just to have a Chinoike on his side and he could have used one of the other three to hold the Rokubi.

A real shame they were bloodline-supporting scum though.

'Oh well. They will be crushed by me anyways when I get the power of the Rokubi.' If all didn't go well he could just seal the Rokubi into himself and use it and the Sanbi's power to massacre the rebellion. But that was the worst case scenario.

That would never happen though.

Unless Terumi somehow had a Bijuu or two with her or she had the Eighth gate of Death with her somehow which unless Maito Gai and Konoha were allies with the Rebellion and decided to teach her their secrets which is more unlikely than her being a jinchurriki was impossible

"Rei. Gather Team Aki." He called out suddenly to his adopted daughter. He saw the way she froze. Team Aki was the squad of his most dangerous Anbu besides his three personal ones. But all together the four were able to beat the squad due to their teamwork and skill.

"Yes father." Rei shunshined out of his office.

'Things are going my way now it seems. One day I'll save the world. Bloodlines that are unpure will be wiped out and those like me will be able to get far in the world.'

Soon. His dream would be realized soon.

I'm gonna be honest. I wasn't really the most motivated to write this chapter. I've been focusing on a different fic for the last few days and I got six chapters written so far as of this chapter. I won't spoil what it is but it another part of this multiverse. I've been really excited to write it in the last few chapters and the adventures of that version of Kukui. It'll be up by the time I post this chapter likely I do hope to have at least a seven chapter stockpile plus the first chapter I upload. So eight chapters.

Yeah... Anyways Yagura and Orochimaru are working together. Utakata has been found too. I wonder how that'll go. With Team Aki with Yagura they shouldn't lose right? Also Railgun. It wasn't originally part of the story plans but I decided Kukui needs to have another attack and what better way than giving him a ripped off version of another anime power? Well it wasn't intentional.

If I ever start that side story for this, him creating it would be one of the chapters. But it was pretty much just him fucking around with chakra one day and deciding to roll with the results. Which was just him getting a really. Really powerful Ryo thanks to him putting a shitload of lightning chakra in it.
