"Thank you for taking us," Tom smiled at his old friend, Harry Kim. Harry was captain of the ship.

Harry smiled at Tom. "It is no problem; we are going there." Harry looked from Tom to B'Elanna and saw a smile on her face. "I hope your room is comfortable," B'Elanna nodded.

"We are going to surprise Selena that we are here," Tom had a mischievous smile on his face. "Do you know where she is?"

Harry had a feeling he knew where the doctor was, but he wasn't going to tell her parents. Everyone on the ship knew where Selena was spending her nights. "I think that you should try her quarters or sickbay."

Tom and B'Elanna nodded. "Again, thank you for taking us," B'Elanna said.

"Captain to the bridge," A voice went over the com. Harry nodded to his friends and watched them leave his ready room as he made his way to the bridge. He didn't know if Selena told her parents about who she was seeing or that she was spending nights in his bed. He could see Tom's head exploding, but then again, his oldest daughter was married with kids. So, he had to know that his daughters were having sex.

"Captain on the bridge," A young ensign said. Harry forgot about his friends for the moment.

Tom and B'Elanna made their way down to Selena's room and rang the chime. They didn't get an answer and thought that she might be in sickbay. They made their way to sickbay and found out that their daughter was off, and she was somewhere on the ship. Tom and B'Elanna traded a look. They had to think about where their daughter would be.

"She could be in the mess hall or on a holodeck or with a friend," Tom said.

"I know," B'Elanna sighed. "Maybe we should have told her that we were coming, and she could have found time to be with us."

They started down the corridor making their way to the lift to get back to their quarters. The lift doors opened, and Lieutenant April Winters came off. B'Elanna smiled at the young woman, she remembers having her in her class. She was bright and it was no surprise that she had become a lieutenant. April saw them. "Mr. Paris, Commander Torres, what are you doing here?" She asked.

"We are going to same planet as you," B'Elanna smiled.

April eyes widen and return B'Elanna's smile. "Does Selena know that you are here?" They knew that April was Selena's friend. They were at the academy together and kept their friendship even after they left.

"No, we can't seem to find her," Tom growled. "She is not at her quarters or in sickbay," April nodded. She knew where her friend was. She was in Lieutenant Stephen Parker's quarters and that is where she has been for the past year. April didn't know if Selena had told her parents that she was seeing someone.

"April, do you know where she is? You are her friend." B'Elanna asked.

April smiled. She didn't know if she wanted Selena to kill her later because she showed her parents where she was. April knew that she could call Selena and tell her to meet her in the mess hall and surprise her with her parents that way and she had a feeling that Stephen might follow her to the mess hall. April smiled wickedly. She still needed to get Selena back for the prank she pulled on her when they were in the holodeck together.

"I think I know where Selena is." April led the way down the corridor and around the corner. She didn't hear anything from Stephen's quarters, they could either be sleeping or just enjoying each other's company. April rang the chime.

Selena heard the chime going off. She sighed as rolled off the bed and threw on a robe. She glanced back at the bed to see her boyfriend was still sleeping. She shook her head as she made her way to the door. She opened the door and saw April standing there with a smile on her face. Selena gave her friend a look. Selena knew that her friend could have called her over the comms about anything. "What do you want? I was sleeping," Selena moaned and looked back towards the bed to see that Stephen was waking up. She smiled at him.

April smiled. "I have a surprise for you."

Selena was ready to say something when April stepped out of the way and Selena saw her parents standing there. "Mom, Dad," They lifted their eyebrows because they could hear the shock in her voice. "What are you doing here?" Selena pulled her robe closer.

"We are going to the same place you are, and Harry offered us a ride," Tom frowned at his daughter. He could only think about what she was doing.

Selena smiled at her parents. "Why didn't you tell me that you were coming?" Selena also threw her friend a look. Selena knew that she was going to get her friend back for this.

"We wanted to surprise you," B'Elanna looked behind her daughter and saw a man only wearing a pair of sweatpants. She could see why her daughter was attracted to the man.

Selena smiled at her parents. "I am surprised. How about I get dressed and met you in the mess hall for lunch."

"That would be nice," B'Elanna smiled and grabbed Tom's arm. She pulled him the lifts.

"Bring that young man with you," Tom shouted at them.

Selena shook her head and turned to her friend. "Remind me to kill you after my parents leave," April only smiled before walking down the corridor to her quarters. Selena went back into Stephen's quarters to see that he was standing behind her in his sweatpants. His black hair was disheveled from sleep and her fingers.

"Do you want me to come?" Stephen asked.

Selena nodded. "Yeah, my parents already know that we are sharing a bed," Selena headed for the closet and pulled out a uniform that she had here.

Stephen's face went white as he pulled out his own uniform. "How much do they know about us?" He asked.

"They know that I am seeing someone, but they don't know your name," Selena put her comm badge on.

"How do they know that you are seeing someone but not my name?" Stephen put his own comm badge on.

"When I went down for my brother's wedding, I told them that I was seeing someone and left it at that."

"And you didn't tell them later," Selena shook her head. Stephen crossed his arms. "When you meet my parents, they will know who you are."

Selena reached over and pulled his arms away from his chest. "I wanted to tell them so many times, but I never found the right time," Selena wrapped her arms around Stephen's neck. "You want me to meet your parents," She leaned up and pressed her lips to his.

"Yes," Stephen broke the kiss long enough to say the one word. Stephen broke the kiss after some time. "Your parents are waiting for us."

Selena sighed and broke out of his arms. She gave his hand a squeeze before exiting his quarters. Once outside his room, they headed for the lifts to the officer's mess hall. Selena took a breath before entering the mess hall. The last time she introduced a boyfriend to her parents, they didn't like him. She understood why they didn't like him, and she was glad that they let her find out how wrong he was for her. She loved Stephen and she wanted her parents to like him because she didn't see Stephen exiting her life unless something happened to one of them.

Selena saw her parents sitting in a corner and made her way over to them. It looked like her parents had gotten coffee and cookies. Her parents stood and Selena hugged each of them. She had missed her parents, but she knew that she was living the life she wanted. Selena turned to Stephen. "Mom, Dad, this is my boyfriend, Lieutenant Stephen Parker. Stephen these are my parents Tom Paris and B'Elanna Torres."

Stephen held out his hand. "Madam, it is a great honor to meet the woman who raise Selena," B'Elanna laughed and took his hand.

"It is nice to meet you, too, Lieutenant," B'Elanna liked him and his smile.

"Sir, you have an amazing daughter," Stephen held out his hand for Tom to take.

Tom looked down at the man, who had his daughter's heart. He had seen the way Selena had looked at him and he knew that his daughter was in love. He took the hand and felt a good handshake. Stephen reminded him of himself a little bit, but there was something different in his eyes. One he could see that he was in love with his daughter and Starfleet was going to be his life.

Tom smiled. "I know, she gets it from her mother," Stephen returned his smile.

"Let's take a seat," B'Elanna said. Everyone took at seat at the table. "So, Stephen what do you do on the ship?"

"I'm Chief Helmsman," Stephen smiled at Tom.

"Alright," Tom had to high five him. B'Elanna and Selena rolled their eyes. "What? Our daughter has the same taste in men like her mother," B'Elanna shook her head at her husband. Tom turned back to Stephen. "What turned you onto flying?" The two men started to talk.

B'Elanna turned away from the men to her daughter. "We lost them," Selena laughed.

"I was worried that this might happen when they met," Selena told her mother. "Dad might steal my boyfriend."

B'Elanna shook her head. "Don't worry your father knows his way home."

Selena laughed. "You make Dad sound like a dog."

There was sparkle in B'Elanna's eyes that Selena loved seeing in her parents' eyes because they love each other so much. "Well, if the shoe fits." Both women looked at the men to see if they were listening, but Tom was telling Stephen how he handled Voyager. B'Elanna turned back to her daughter. "How did you meet?"

"Sickbay," Selena smiled. "He was nervous about starting here."

"I'm sure you made him feel much better," B'Elanna gave a sneaking smile.

"Mom," Selena hissed.

"I'm sure he made you feel better," B'Elanna smiled.

Selena blushed and glanced at the men. "Mom," She moaned.

"What? If I was your age, I would sleep with him. He is very good looking," B'Elanna smiled at her daughter.

"Lieutenant Parker to the bridge," A man voice came over the comm.

B'Elanna looked at Stephen as he stood. He gave them a nod before walking out of the mess hall. B'Elanna saw her daughter's eyes follow Stephen out of the mess hall. Tom turned to the women and smiled at Selena. "I like him."

Selena shook her head. "Of course, you do," She mumbled. B'Elanna laughed.

Happy Holidays! I hope you enjoy this little gift I am giving you. -sjt
