T'Pol sat in the mess hall with Tripp, she couldn't get comfortable, she never had this problem. Tripp was eating lunch and not paying attention to her. He was busy looking at a PADD in front of him. He looked up at her. "Are you okay?"

T'Pol was ready to answer when they heard. "All senior staff to the bridge," Tripp stood and helped T'Pol up. T'Pol let out a scream.

"Tripp," T'Pol said. "I don't think we are going to make it to the bridge." Tripp gave his wife a look. "Your son is ready to come," T'Pol let out a breath.

Tripp ran a hand through his hair. "So soon," T'Pol nodded. "I thought."

"You can think and walk at the same time," T'Pol pulled him out of the mess hall.

Tripp nodded. "I thought that we had a few more weeks."

"I did, too, but this is your child," Tripp saw everyone running around as they made their way to Sickbay.

They entered to see Phlox was ready to leave for the bridge. He took one look at the couple. "Oh," He went over and helped Tripp with T'Pol. "How far apart have they been?"

"About twenty minutes," T'Pol let a breath.

Phlox pulled a curtain around them. "I'll tell the captain know and let you get changed," Tripp and T'Pol nodded.

Phlox gave them one more look before heading for the bridge. He made his way to the bridge to see Archer talking with the others. Jonathan looked up when Phlox came in.

"Where the hell are my first officer and chief engineer?" He looked around the room. They were never late. If they were doing something that they weren't supposed to do, he was going to kill them.

"Well, Captain," Phlox said. "The newest member of the ship is ready to come."

"T'Pol is going to have their baby," Hoshi said. Phlox nodded.

"Really," Jonathan mumbled. "He wants to be born now." Phlox saw a smile on Travis' face. He also had heard what the captain. Jonathan sighed. "Get back to the parents, doctor," Phlox nodded. Phlox left the captain.

"Alright," Jonathan turned to rest of the crew. "Malcom, I'm going to need you more at this moment with Tripp and T'Pol having the baby." Malcom nodded. Jonathan turned to the screen in front of them. "We have three Romulans ships in front of us and two behind us. It looks like they are surrounding us. We need a way to get out of this. For our ship and so the newest member of the crew to live."

They spent twenty minutes trying to figure out what to do when the first shots were fired. "Tactical Alert. Battle station," Jonathan told the others. They made their way to the front of the bridge. Jonathan turned to Malcom. "Fire at the leading ship," Malcom nodded and fired back. It did little damage to the ship. "Travis, find us a way out of the this," Travis nodded. Jonathan sighed because he felt like he needed his first officer logical voice in his ear, and she was having a baby right now.

Tripp and T'Pol saw nurses and others come in the sickbay as they went on tactical alert. Tripp stood by T'Pol side, holding her hand, telling her to breath. Dr. Phlox came back in the room. He saw his staff already getting ready for casualties. The doctor turned to the couple in the room. "It seems we are in a battle," the doctor told them.

T'Pol tried to sit up. "The captain is going to need us," T'Pol said as Tripp pushed her back in bed.

"You are not going anywhere," Tripp said.

"Then you should get to engineering. They are going to need you," T'Pol let out a breath.

Tripp kissed the side of T'Pol's head. "I am not missing this for the world. My team know what to do. If they need me, they know where to find me."

T'Pol nodded. They watched as the doctor did his scans on T'Pol and the baby. The doctor smiled at them. "Everything looks like it's going well. I'll check on you in little bit. Maybe have a name ready for him."

Tripp and T'Pol still have no name for their son. T'Pol wanted to name him Paran after her father and Tripp wanted to name him Charles Tucker the Fourth. The couple traded a look before T'Pol let out another scream.

"Before you bite off my head. Let's see who he looks like before naming him," Tripp smiled at his wife.

"Fine, but the other person gets to name the second one we have and there can't be any abjection," T'Pol had to take a breath.

"Okay," Tripp smiled at his wife that had T'Pol worried.

"What are you thinking?" T'Pol asked.

"Oh, nothing," Tripp looked away from her.

"Tripp," Tripp could hear the warning in her voice.

"It just that you are going through all this and are talking about another one," Tripp kissed his wife.

T'Pol tried to hold back a scream. "When the time is right, we will start trying again."

Tripp leaned down and whispered in her ear. "You can let it go; you are having a baby."

"Shields?" Jonathan asked Malcom.

"Forty-three percent," Malcom shouted over the fire fight.

Jonathan turned to the view screen. To see the damage on the Romulans ship. They looked like that they didn't have much damage. Jonathan swore. They needed a miracle right now to get out of this battle. He didn't want his friends to have their baby in a Romulans prison camp. He turned to Hoshi. "Has any ship heard our distress call?"

Hoshi shook her head. "No, sir."

Jonathan started to pace in front of his captain chair. They needed a way to get out of here. "Shields down to twenty-one percent," Malcom shouted at him.

"Sir, I might have a way out of here, but it going to get a little bumping," Travis said.

"What?" Jonathan shouted at the young man. He took a breath. "Sorry, Travis."

Travis didn't take it personal. "Here is what we are going to do…" He shared his plan with the rest of the team. He saw smiles on their faces.

"Well let's get started," Jonathan smiled at the young ensign.

Phlox made his way to T'Pol, who was ready to kill her husband. Phlox had heard T'Pol yelling at her husband that he is never touching her again. Tripp didn't like that idea. Phlox had a feeling that they would be touching in a few months after this. He also heard a few words in Vulcan that Tripp didn't understand, but Phlox knew the words very well. Tripp should be glad that he didn't understand the words. It was something about Tripp's father or about the size of his penis.

"Alright let's take a look," Phlox looked. "It looks like it is time to push. On your next contraction, I'm going to need you to push."

T'Pol nodded. She glanced at Tripp and Tripp leaned down and kissed her.

"Alright, push," Phlox said.

"Ready," Jonathan looked at his helmsman. Travis nodded. "Do it."

Malcom started to fire everything they had at the led ship. Travis took the moment and flew the ship straight at the lead ship. The other ships stopped firing on them because they didn't want to fire on the lead ship. The lead ship thought that Enterprise was going to hit them, but at the last moment Travis pulled up and flew the ship up. They were so close that someone could stick their hand out and touch the other ship. The other ships thought that it was okay to shot again, but no shots hit them. All the shots went to the lead ship. It took a lot of damage.

Jonathan looked at the five ships and knew that they weren't watching their ship anymore. Jonathan nodded at Travis. "Take us out of here, Travis."

"With pleasure, sir." Travis shot off at wrap five.

"I see the head," Phlox said. Phlox looked up at T'Pol. "I need one big push," T'Pol gave the doctor a look. Phlox ignored the look. "Ready, push," T'Pol gave one big push. "We have the head." T'Pol fell back on the bed. Phlox looked at T'Pol. "I know you are tried, but the rest of him needs to come out now. Another big push and we'll have the shoulders. Push," T'Pol pushed. She fell that her body was ripping in half.

T'Pol didn't know how she did, but she pushed the rest of the baby out. Phlox placed the baby on her bare chest. He was full of green blood. T'Pol just held on to her son. T'Pol ran a hand over his light hair. She wanted to see his eyes, but he didn't open them yet. She saw that he had her ears. It looked like he had Tripp's nose and mouth.

Tripp leaned down and ran a hand over his son. "He's beautiful, T'Pol."

"He looks a lot like you," T'Pol whispered.

"I hate to break up this moment, but I need to clean him and check him out," Phlox reached for the baby. T'Pol gave him her son. T'Pol gave Tripp a look and Tripp knew that that he should follow the doctor.

Tripp watched as the doctor clean the baby and do some scans. Tripp counted ten fingers and ten toes. He wasn't afraid to show them that he was a boy. When Tripp heard him cry, he let out a tear. Phlox wrapped him in a small blanket that he had before taking him back to T'Pol. Tripp notice that T'Pol was clean, too. One of the nurses helped her. Phlox handed the baby to T'Pol. "Everything looks good, but I would like to keep both of you here over night."

T'Pol was too busy looking at her son to even nod. Tripp smiled at the doctor, who only smiled back at Tripp. Tripp made his way around the bed to watch his wife and son. Phlox walked away slowly to leave the new family.

"Would you like to hold him?" T'Pol asked Tripp. Tripp nodded and held out his arms.

Tripp looked down at his son to see that he had his nose and mouth. His son had his mom's ears. Tripp saw that his hair was a light color. His son was going to have his white blond hair that would only get darker when he got older. "Hey, buddy, do you want to open your eyes for us to see?"

"Vulcan babies don't open their eyes until they are a month old," T'Pol said from the bed. Tripp could hear how tired she was.

"You need to sleep, love," Tripp saw that someone had put a cot next to them. He put their son in there. He sat on the chair next to her. He kissed the top of her head. "You did a wonderful job."

"We need a name for him," T'Pol mumbled.

"We'll think of something tomorrow," Tripp whispered. "You need sleep now," T'Pol nodded and closed her eyes.

Jonathan was exhausted. He just finished talking to Starfleet Command. He had a feeling that they would be going to war with the Romulans. Jonathan yawned before getting up. He should go to bed and worry about it tomorrow. He got up, stretched, and left his ready room. He went to the lifts and press the button that he needed. He closed his eyes for a moment. He heard the doors opened and stepped off. He looked around and saw that he wasn't on his deck. He moaned. He was ready to turn when he saw the lights of sickbay dimmed. He smiled. Maybe it was time to see the newest member of his crew.

He entered sickbay quietly. He saw that the doctor was up. "Captain," He said in a soft voice.

"Don't mind me. I just came to see the newest member of my crew," Jonathan smiled. The doctor nodded and took him to the sleeping family.

Jonathan saw that his friends were sleeping. Tripp is not going to be happy about the creak in his neck later. Jonathan didn't think that he cared too much because he was holding T'Pol's hand. T'Pol had her face facing her husband's. They wanted to be close. Jonathan smiled and looked down at the cot. The baby was staring up at him with his father's blue eyes. Jonathan let out a little laugh. This baby was going to look more like Tripp than T'Pol. Jonathan smiled when he saw the boy's ears. He had his mother's ears.

"Hi," Jonathan looked around the cot to see if he could find a name. "You don't have a name yet," Jonathan glanced up at the boy's parents. "I would have to say that your dad might have his way in the naming area." Jonathan glanced at the baby. "I just want to say welcome to my ship and don't take too much of my first officer and chief engineer time. I still need them." Jonathan smiled at the baby one more time before walking away from the family.

T'Pol woke to her son's cries. Before she could get him. Tripp was already getting him and bringing him to her. It didn't take long for him to latch on to her nipple and start feeding. He placed a hand on her breast. T'Pol looked up to find Tripp sitting on the bed, watching them. "I think that you choose his name."

Tripp smiled. "He does look a lot like me," Tripp looked at his son. "Hello, Charles Tucker the Fourth or Charlie," Tripp ran a finger along his son face.

"Charlie," T'Pol said. "I like that."

Jonathan woke to have an urgent message from Starfleet. He didn't like the message. He didn't want to give the news to his friends, but they were his first officer and chief engineer. Jonathan made his way to Sickbay. He didn't hear anything that they had gone back to their quarters.

He found the family still in Sickbay. T'Pol was holding their son. Tripp was looking at his family with such love. He had an arm around T'Pol. Jonathan stood there watching them for a moment before he made his presence known.

Tripp smiled at him. "Captain, I would like you to meet Charlie," Tripp looked down at his son. T'Pol held out the baby for Jonathan to hold. Jonathan looked down at the baby and hoped that everything ended well so this little boy could grow up.

"He's perfect," Jonathan handed the baby back to T'Pol.

"Is something wrong, Cap?" Tripp said. He knew that this wasn't his happy captain.

"I don't want to ruin this time for the two of you," Jonathan looked from them to the baby.

"What is it?" Tripp asked.

Jonathan took a moment before saying. "We are at war with the Romulans."
