Captain Archer told them that they had the Vulcans with them, and they would be helping. T'Pol and Tripp were happy that everything went well for them. Captain Archer had wondered what had happen that with her family, but T'Pol didn't want to go into, and Jonathan left it alone. They left Vulcan and went to try to other allies, but the doors were slammed in their faces. There was tension all over the ship, as they went place to place. They were either worried that the Romulans would find them and attack them.

Tripp sat in the mess hall to see that the crew was down, and they needed a way to lift their sprints. They had stopped movie nights because every time they started, they would have to stop it because they were in a battle, but they needed one. Tripp looked at his own wife, who was feeding Charlie mush. The chief loved making Charlie new food to try. Tripp tried to think when the last time that they had any time to themselves. They were either working or taking care of a seven-month-old baby. The only time they found time together was at night in their bed. Charlie was sleeping in his own room.

Tripp picked at his own food. He knew how the night was going end, they would end up in their quarters, put Charlie to bed, T'Pol would meditate, and Tripp would read a book or a report, the next thing they would go to bed, either make love or just cuddle in bed. He wanted to take his wife out on a date. Tripp smiled to himself; he had some planning to do. T'Pol saw the smile and gave him a look, he only took a bite of his food.

After they got back to their quarters and put Charlie to bed, Tripp watched T'Pol head to their room to meditate. Tripp waited until the doors closed before leaving. He made his way to the captain's room. He talked the captain into starting movie night again. Tripp didn't think that it would be too hard. The captain told him to plan it for two days. Tripp just needed to find a movie and babysitter for Charlie. He would worry about that tomorrow.

The next day, Tripp was on the bridge and sitting in the captain's chair. He really didn't like taking shifts on the bridge, he felt like there were other things that he could be doing, like fixing something in Engineering. He glanced at the view screen all to see stars. He glanced at his PADD to look over a report that one of his workers had written. He couldn't think on it, so he looked up to see who was on the bridge with him. He saw Travis at the helm. There were others but they were busy with what they were doing, so they wouldn't be paying attention to them.

"Travis, you know of any good movies?" Tripp asked.

Travis turned around in his chair. "Yes, why?"

"Tomorrow night, we are going to do movie night and I need a movie," Tripp placed his PADD on the arm of chair. Travis gave a list of movies that were good. Tripp nodded and thought that one would be good. Travis turned to his helm as Tripp turned to his other problem about finding a babysitter for Charlie. "Travis another question," Travis turned around again.

"Yes, sir," Travis smiled.

"Do you know anyone that would watch Charlie tomorrow night?" Tripp asked.

Travis smiled. "As I have seen most of those movies several times, I wouldn't mind," Tripp opened his mouth to say something, but Travis held up his hand. "I had helped on my parents' ship, so I know what I am doing."

Tripp grinned. "Thank you. Tomorrow night six-thirty, the movie will be at seven. Now can you let the rest of the crew know, but make sure that T'Pol doesn't hear about it." Travis smiled and nodded. Tripp picked up his PADD again, he found out that he could think on it now that he figured all that.

The chime went off and T'Pol wondered who it was. Charlie was on the floor playing with toys that they had gotten from different places. Tripp was taking a shower, he said that he felt gross after working today. T'Pol told them to enter and saw Ensign Mayweather standing there with a smile on his face.

"Is Tripp here?" He asked.

T'Pol nodded and wondered what Ensign Mayweather needed with her husband for. She looked at Charlie before going to her room. She saw that Tripp was dressed. "Ensign Mayweather is here for you."

"Perfect," Tripp smiled. He headed for the door.

T'Pol took a moment before following him. He was telling Travis about Charlie's bedtime. T'Pol stood there for moment and tried to figure out what was going on. Tripp turned to her. "We, my dear, are going on a date," He reached for her hand.

T'Pol raised an eyebrow but took her husband's hand. They haven't done a date since they found out that they were going to have Charlie. She passed Charlie, leaned down, and kissed him on his blond head. Tripp pulled her out of their quarters. T'Pol glanced at the closed door.

"We are only going to be gone for a few hours," Tripp told her down the corridor.

T'Pol gave her husband a look. "Where are we going?" She asked.

"To the movies," Tripp smiled.

T'Pol let him lead her to the mess hall. The seats were already filling up when they got there. Tripp pulled her to the back and found two seats together. No one was watching them and that is what they liked about it when they came to the movies.

The lights dimed and Tripp took her hand like he did when they did this before. T'Pol raised one eyebrow at him and all she got was a smile. The movie started and T'Pol watched about ten minutes before Tripp started to whisper sweet nothing in her ear. T'Pol had to cover her mouth or Tripp would see that he was getting to her. T'Pol tried to watch the movie, but Tripp's voice was having effect on her.

The movie ended and T'Pol was breathless. Halfway through the movie, Tripp started to run a hand over her leg. She had to let out a breath as the movie ended. They waited to stand until almost everyone was out of the mess hall. They walked quickly back to their quarters. Before Tripp could open the door, T'Pol stopped him. "You better get rid of Travis quickly," There was a look in T'Pol eyes that had Tripp smiling.

"Yes, Commander," Tripp saluted her.

Tripp opened the door to find that it was quiet. Charlie was probably sleeping. They found Travis sitting on their couch with a PADD. Travis smiled when he saw the couple. He stood. "Good evening?" He asked as T'Pol went to check on Charlie.

"Yes," Tripp smiled. "Thank you for watching Charlie for us. I think it was something that we needed."

Travis nodded. T'Pol came out of Charlie's room and gave Tripp a look before heading to their room. "I see that I should leave you alone," Travis made it to the door. "I'm sure you are going to have a good night." Travis laughed as he left the room.

Tripp smiled before heading to his room.

BOOM!

The ship shook and it was what woke Tripp up. As the ship shook Tripp looked at his wife to see that she was up too.

"Commander T'Pol to the bridge," T'Pol got out the bed as the ship shook again. It was when they heard Charlie crying.

"Charlie," They said at the same time. T'Pol grabbed the robe that was on the chair and went to get their son. Tripp got up, pulled on some pants.

"Commander Tucker to engineering," Tripp swore as he made his way to the living area. T'Pol was pacing with Charlie. Tripp went over and pressed the comm.

"Crewmen Edgerton to the Tucker quarters," Tripp called. He went over to grab Charlie from T'Pol so she could change to get to the bridge. Tripp kissed T'Pol before she went to their room to change.

The doors opened and Crewmen Edgerton came in. Tripp kissed the top of Charlie's head before handing him off to Crewmen Edgerton. "Take him to the hidden spot," Crewmen Edgerton nodded. Tripp watched them for a moment before going to his room to get dress.

T'Pol was dressed and ready to go when he entered. Tripp grabbed her before she left and kissed her one more time before she left. He didn't know what this battle held but he wanted to feel his wife in his arms one more time before she left. She patted his cheek as she left. Tripp took a breath before getting dressed.

T'Pol entered to see that there was a Romulan ship attacking them. She went and took a seat at her station. Captain Archer gave her a look. "About time you got here," He said with a smile.

"Sorry, sir," T'Pol said. "Charlie," Captain Archer waved off her excuse like he understood that her son was her first concern.

"They just hit the port side," Malcom shouted out. "The ship's shield is down to 74 percent."

"Fire at them," Captain Archer shouted at him.

"Their shields are holding," Malcom said.

Jonathan stood from his chair and started to walk around the bridge. "We need away out of here before we are sitting ducks," He turned to his bridge officers to get ideas.

While he was waiting, Romulans hit them again. "That hit an engine," They heard over the comm from Tripp. Jonathan swore.

He turned to Malcom. "Fire again," Malcom was ready to fire again T'Pol said.

"Hold on," Jonathan turned to his first officer and questioned her with a look. T'Pol ignored his look. "Aim for the starboard side at this point," She gave him some numbers. Malcom nodded and fired.

"It brought down their shields to 85 percent, its not going to be enough and we only have so many missiles." Malcom looked at his captain and first officer. They needed to get out of here, but they had one engine down.

They were hit again. "Warp drive is off, and Commander Tucker is down," They heard over the comm from Tripp's second in command.

T'Pol heart dropped. Jonathan gave her a look. T'Pol took a breath. She had a job to do, and this was it. "I have a job to do," She said. Jonathan nodded. He knew once this battle was over, she would be in sickbay with her husband.

"Our shields are down to 54 percent," Malcom shouted.

"We are sitting ducks," Jonathan ran a hand through his hair. "Options," He said to everyone.

"Another ship," Hoshi said.

"That would work, but where would get one," Jonathan turned to his communication officer.

"There," She pointed to another ship. "I think that is a Tellarite ship."

"She is right, sir," T'Pol said.

"Hail them," Jonathan told Hoshi. She nodded and opened a channel to them.

The Tellarite captain came on screen. "It looks like you need a little help."

Jonathan smiled. "Yes, we do."

The Tellarite captain nodded before closing the channel. Jonathan watched as the Tellarite hit the Romulan ship. "Their shields are down to 60 percent," Malcom said.

"Fire at them," Jonathan shouted.

The Romulans back off when they were getting hit by both sides. With a final hit the ship was gone. Everyone let out a breath, but now they had to get their ship fixed. The Tellarite captain came back on the screen.

"Thank you, Captain," Jonathan said.

"It was no problem. We have heard about your war and would like to know more," The captain said. "If you can follow us, we can help you repair your ship."

"That would be great," Jonathan smiled. "Travis set in a course to follow them," Travis nodded. Jonathan turned to T'Pol and nodded.

T'Pol stood and made her off the bridge. She entered sickbay to find her husband, lying on one of the beds. She made her way over to him. His eyes were closed, and it looked like he was breathing normally.

"Your husband is just fine, Commander," Phlox said from behind her.

T'Pol turned to him. "Thank you, doctor," The doctor nodded. She gave him one more look before heading towards the doors. "I will be back." She wanted to check on her son.

She got to her quarters and went to the hiding place that Crewmen Edgerton was with Charlie. She moved the door and helped the young woman get out. Once she was out, she handed Charlie to T'Pol. T'Pol didn't notice when Crewmen Edgerton left because she was holding her son close.

T'Pol took a breath before gathering some of Charlie's things and leaving. She wanted to be there when Tripp woke up. T'Pol made her way back to sickbay to see that the captain was checking on Tripp. Jonathan smiled at T'Pol before leaving. Phlox brought a chair for T'Pol to sit on. She took a seat and pulled out a toy for Charlie to play with as they waited for his father to wake up.

A few hours later, Tripp woke to a baby touching his face. He looked up and saw that his son was on his bed. Tripp sat up and held his son. Charlie let out a laugh that woke the baby's sleeping mother. Tripp smiled at his wife before looking around the sickbay to see if anyone else was in the room. All he saw was Phlox's animals. He reached over and kissed T'Pol. "I'm sorry that I scared you."

"I'm glad that you are alright." T'Pol sat up in her chair. She watched father and son playing. "Tripp, are we doing the right thing?" T'Pol asked her husband. Before Tripp could answer Phlox came in.

"You look good, Commander Tucker," Phlox made his way over to look over Tripp.
