"Why does Professor Supak think logic will work?" Mel Braxton said. B'Elanna looked at the young woman at her dining room table. There was a group of them studying for one of their classes and Professor Supak was their teacher for the class.

Before B'Elanna or anyone could answer she heard little footsteps coming upstairs. She was getting something to drink. She looked towards the basement and saw her seven-year-old son coming up. Xavier smiled at the group before turning to his mother. "I have to grab something from my room," He said as he ran to the stairs that led upstairs.

"I think he has never been a ship," Bart Anderson said.

"He is an idiot," B'Elanna said as she watched her son run down the stairs and make his way back to the basement where his father and sisters were. She turned back to the group and found her seat again. The rest of the group felt like they knew what she was talking about because she had spent many years in space working on a spaceship.

Tom came back downstairs from putting his kids to bed to see his wife cleaning up after her study group. He went and stood behind her. B'Elanna knew that he was standing there and leaned against him. "Hmm," She said as she closed her eyes.

Tom ran his hands along her arms. "Did you get work done?" He asked.

"Yes," B'Elanna smiled.

"Who were you calling an idiot?" Tom asked.

B'Elanna turned around and looked at Tom. "We were talking about our professor for the class. I don't remember seeing you come up here when we were talking about him."

"I wasn't. Xavier thought that you were calling him an idiot. He was coming back down when you said it, so he thought it was about him." Tom eyes roamed B'Elanna's face.

B'Elanna moaned. "Our son is not an idiot. He is too smart for his own good," She closed her eyes and ran her hand over her face.

Tom smiled. "I wondered where he gets that from."

B'Elanna threw him a look and pushed him out of her way. "I would say his father too. Lizardman," She made her way to the stairs.

"Hey," Tom ran after her. B'Elanna made her way upstairs. "You were also involved in that too." Tom reached her at the landing. "You are going to pay for that," He kissed her.

B'Elanna laughed. "Later, Paris. I have to talk with our son first." She made her way to Xavier room and knocked on the door. B'Elanna saw Tom nod before making his way to their room.

B'Elanna opened the door to see that Xavier wasn't asleep yet. She glanced at his clock to see that it was past his bedtime. She somehow made it to his bed and took a seat. She reached over and took the comic book out his hand. She was going to kill her husband for introducing them to their son. Xavier looked up at him with his father's blue eyes.

"Hey, Mom," He turned around in his bed and gave her his back. "I was just going to sleep."

"I'm sorry," B'Elanna sighed.

Xavier turned around to face his mom. "For what?" He asked. B'Elanna could see in his eyes that he knew what she was talking about.

"You thought that I had called you idiot," B'Elanna sighed.

"I heard you," Xavier almost shouted. B'Elanna looked at him and he quieted down.

"I wasn't talking about you, but a professor at the academy," B'Elanna moved his blond hair out of his face.

Xavier smiled the Paris smile. Both Tom and Xavier knew she had a weakness for the smile. She was just glad that her daughters didn't have the smile. Xavier reminded her so much of Tom sometimes. "Mom, you taught us not to call people names and you did the same."

"Yes, I wasn't very nice to my professor, but I want you to remember that you are not idiot." B'Elanna knew that she had to watch what she said when the kids were around.

"I'm not," Xavier's eyes widen.

"No," B'Elanna smiled. "You are too smart for your own good," B'Elanna pointed a finger at his head. Xavier laughed. "It got you in so much trouble."

Xavier had a look in his eyes that B'Elanna knew that he was up to something. He thew his arms around B'Elanna. "I love you, Mom."

B'Elanna wrapped her arms around him. "I love you, too." She kissed the top of his head. She released him and helped him get settle in bed. "Now go to bed," She stood and made her way to the door.

"Goodnight, Mom," Xavier mumbled as he fell asleep.

"Goodnight, Xavier," B'Elanna closed his door behind her.

B'Elanna looked in on her two daughters before making her way to her room. She opened the door to see Tom sitting in their bed, reading. He looked up. "Everything okay?" He asked.

"Yeah," B'Elanna started to get ready for bed.

B'Elanna climbed into bed and was ready to pick up her PADD when Tom reached for her. "I think you forgot that you have to pay for something," He said in her ear. B'Elanna laughed before she felt Tom's lips on her neck.

Tom was pushing up her shirt when they heard. "Mommy," Selena said from the other side of the door. Tom moaned and removed his hand from her.

B'Elanna took a moment before answering her daughter. "Yeah, Selena."

"I had a bad dream. Can I sleep with you and Daddy?" She asked.

B'Elanna heard Tom moan as he fell on the bed. B'Elanna elbowed him before answering her daughter. "Yes," She watched as Selena came into the room and make her way to the bed. B'Elanna lifted the blanket and Selena jumped in.

"Why did we have kids again?" Tom whispered in her ear after Selena fell asleep. B'Elanna settle in the bed before elbowing her husband. She decided that she wasn't going to answer the question and go to sleep.
