Tripp was sitting at his desk, trying to go over his some of his PADDs since they had the time. Tripp glanced at his wife, who was laying on the couch reading and Charlie, who was playing quietly on the floor. Tripp wondered what T'Pol gave their son for him to be quiet for a while. Charlie looked up and smiled at him. Tripp returned his smile before going back to the PADDs on his desk. He would rather be on the floor playing with his son or sitting on the couch with his wife. Tripp sighed when his computer turned on.

Tripp looked into the smiling face of his dad. Tripp only saw how he would look when he was older. "Dad," He put down the PADD he was looking at. "What do I owe this call?" He asked.

"Well in a couple of months we are celebrating your grandmother's birthday and I know that it will be hard for you and your family to come but your mother and I were wondering if you could do a video wishing your grandmother a happy birthday. I know that she would really enjoy it."

Tripp smiled at his father. "When is the party, so we can have it ready for her?" Tripp was thinking of another idea for his family. It has been while since he saw any of them and none of them had met Charlie or T'Pol.

His father told him the day they were having the party and Tripp smiled to himself because the Enterprise would be in orbit at the time getting fixed. "Where is my grandson?" Chuck Tucker said.

Tripp smiled and turned to Charlie. "Come here, Four," Tripp held out his hand for Charlie to take.

Chuck laughed. "I'm sure your wife loves when you call him that," Tripp got a look from T'Pol over her book.

"No, she doesn't," Tripp laughed. Charlie reached him and Tripp picked him up. "Four say hi to grandpa," Charlie decided to bury his head in Tripp's chest.

"He is getting so big, and he is already one," Chuck looked at his grandson. "He looks so much like you."

Tripp looked down at Charlie. "I know. He did inherit the Tucker good looks." Both men laughed. They talked for a few more minutes before Chuck had to go. Charlie touched the screen after his grandfather was gone. "Grandpa had to go," Tripp said to his son.

Tripp got up from his chair and sat on the coffee table which earn a look from T'Pol. "I was thinking that we are going to be at Earth at the time of my grandmother's birthday that we should go."

T'Pol glanced from Tripp to Charlie. "I don't know. Does your family even like me? I mean after your sister died the Vulcans didn't support Earth and its mission."

Tripp smiled. "My family loves you. You stuck by our side even when your home world didn't want to," Tripp leaned closer to her. "You also helped me with my sister's death," He kissed her. "You also gave my parents another grandchild. They only have my older sister's children." His parents' grandchild decided to hit Tripp because he was between his parents. Tripp laughed and moved away from T'Pol.

T'Pol glanced into Tripp eyes and knew that he wanted to go and see his family. "Alright," She tried to go back to her book when Tripp kissed her again. "Go and put your son to bed," She said as she moved away from him. Tripp laughed before getting up and heading to Charlie's room.

Megan Tucker kept glancing at the entrance of the yard. Her youngest son told her that he was bringing a guest to his grandmother's birthday party. Jack didn't tell her the name of the friend. All he told her was that it was a friend with their wife and son. In Megan's heart there was a little hope that it was her oldest son and his family. She never met the Vulcan woman who stole her son's heart and gave her such a beautiful grandson.

Megan glance at the party to see family standing and sitting at the tables that Chuck and their son-in-law, Phil had put out. Megan saw her daughter making her way over to her.

"Everything okay, Mom," Diana asked.

"Yeah, your brother told me that he was bringing a guest and I'm hoping that it is Tripp and his family." Megan glanced at the entrance again.

Diana laughed because it does seem something her brothers would do. "You know that he is out there somewhere," They both looked to the sky, knowing that Tripp was out there somewhere.

Megan looked at her daughter. "It has been years since we saw your brother. He is a husband and father. I never thought that he would marry."

"Tripp does surprise us," Diana said. She knew her younger brother and when he joined Starfleet that it would make him the man he is today. Diana looked out and saw four figures making their way to the party. Diana touched her mother's shoulder. "Mom," She pointed to the four figures.

Megan watched them make their way closer to them. Tears started to fall as she saw someone was holding a baby. As they got closer, Megan knew that it was her oldest son and his family. Megan recognized the woman that was walking next to Tripp as his wife. She looked at her younger son to see the biggest smile on his face. He was happy to surprise his family with his brother. Jack's wife, Andy was next to him, holding her huge belly. She was carrying Jack's and her first baby.

Megan was ready to run to them to hug her son and welcome the T'Pol and Charlie to the family. Charlie had the same blond hair that all her children had when they were his age. As they got closer, she saw the blue sparkle of Tripp's eyes. He was holding Charlie in his arms.

"Hi, Mom," Tripp said as he stopped in front of them. Charlie hid his face in his dad's shirt.

"Tripp," Megan threw her arms around her son and hugged him. She leaned back and saw how he had changed since the last time she saw him. There were a more wrinkles around his eyes and few greys in his hair. She looked at her grandson to see that he looked just like Tripp when he was that age. The only different was his ears. "How can you give your mother a heart attack?"

Tripp laughed. "I missed you, too, Mom."

Megan turned to the woman standing next to Tripp. This Vulcan woman helped her son when her daughter Elizabeth died. She knew how protective Tripp was of his sister. This woman stood by her team after Earth was attack. She stole her son's heart and gave her such a beautiful grandson. Megan had met a few Vulcans. Megan took her hands in her hands. Megan was surprised when she didn't pull away. She must have spent a lot of time with humans.

"Welcome to the family, T'Pol," Megan smiled at her. "You have our thanks in all that you have done for our son." Megan glanced at Tripp before leaning closer to T'Pol. "I know how hardheaded he can be."

"Mom, you don't think she knows how hardheaded I am," Tripp smiled at his mother. "She married me." Megan rolled her eyes at her son. "She's just as stubborn." T'Pol gave him a look.

Megan reached for Charlie. Charlie gave Tripp and T'Pol a look before he was in his grandmother's arms. T'Pol saw his lips tremble and wanted to reach for Charlie before Megan waved her away. Tripp took her hand after she met Tripp's sister. He led her into garden. T'Pol met Tripp's father, brother-in-law, niece, and nephew. T'Pol was worried for nothing because they welcome her into the family. She met aunts. uncles, cousins.

Tripp led her to his grandmother, the lady of the hour. She was sitting at a table alone, watching the Tucker family. "T'Pol this my grandmother, Emily." Tripp leaned down and kissed her cheek. "How are you doing, Grandma?" Tripp asked.

The older woman blushed. "I'm good. I'm so I glad that I get to see you and family. Pictures just don't do it." Emily turned to T'Pol. "Thank you for helping my grandson." There was love in the old woman's eyes that had T'Pol feel loved. "I know how stubborn he can be. He doesn't ask for help when he needed it."

T'Pol knew that she liked the woman. "His mother said the same thing and he didn't ask the doctor asked me to help him." She gave her husband a look. "He thought that he could do it on his own."

Emily shook her head. "I don't know about Vulcan males, but Tucker men have a problem asking for help."

"They do. They try to logic to get their way." T'Pol smiled with her eyes.

"Oh, Grandma don't believe her because she does the same thing. She tries to use logic to get her way." Tripp looked between the women.

"She should get her way, she gave you that handsome son," Emily looked around. "Where is my great-grandson?"

"He is with my mother," Tripp looked around for his mother and found her talking to one of his aunts, holding Charlie. "I can go and get him if you want to meet him." Tripp took one step towards his mother.

Emily smiled. "Please that would be great," Tripp and made his way to his mother and grabbed his son from his mother. Tripp made his way back and placed Charlie in his great-grandmother's arms. Charlie looked at his parents before staring at the woman, who arms he was in. "Well, he a Tucker," Emily ran her hand through his blond hair. She looked at T'Pol. "Just wait until he gets older. If he isn't a handful now, he's going to be."

"Picture," All three adults turned to find one of Tripp's cousins.

"Sure, take a picture of Charlie and Grandma first," Tripp pulled T'Pol out of the way. T'Pol watched Charlie's face brighten as the picture was taken. After the first picture was taken, Tripp placed T'Pol on side of his grandmother and Tripp stood on the other side of his grandmother. Tripp's cousin took the picture. After the cousin was done Tripp pointed a finger to him. "Jim, I want picture of each," Jim nodded before walking away.

"Everything okay, Mrs. Tucker?" A woman's voice came over Tripp's grandmother. Emily turned and smiled at the woman.

"Yes, Mel," Emily turned back to Tripp and T'Pol. "This is my grandson, Tripp, and his wife, T'Pol and their son, Charlie. Tripp, T'Pol, this is my nurse, Mel Janson."

Tripp smiled at the young woman. "Hello."

Mel smiled. "I don't think I have met you two before."

Emily answered before Tripp or T'Pol. "My grandson is the Chief Engineer on the Enterprise and T'Pol is the science officer on the ship."

"Oh," Mel remembered hearing something about Emily Tucker's grandson. He was under command of Jonathan Archer, who was famous in his own right. She did hear the rumor that the only Vulcan on the ship married a human.

Mel looked at T'Pol and saw that she was Vulcan. She didn't hide her pointed ears, but she did hide her emotions unless she was watching her son. It seemed that Tripp could read her because he reached for her hand and held on to it. Tripp looked at the Vulcan woman with so much love that it could be overwhelming, T'Pol just took it in.

"Mama," The baby said. T'Pol's ear went straight for him. She turned away from the other to take care of her son. Mel watched as Vulcan checked over her son. Charlie was putting his hand in mouth.

"Tripp, your son needs food," T'Pol stated.

Tripp nodded, got up before taking his son from his mother. T'Pol got up and followed her husband and son to the table where the food. Mel watched as Tripp placed a hand on T'Pol back. It was out of love because he leaned closer to her and said something in her ear. Mel watched as they made plates of food and head back to Emily Tucker.

They placed four plates on the table and pushed one towards Emily. "Made you a plate, Grandma."

"Thank you," Emily reached for her own plate. "Mel, go and make a plate for yourself," Emily waved Mel off.

Mel made her way to the table with the food. There was a line, she watched Emily as she talked to her grandson and his family. She watched as the Vulcan woman made pieces small enough for Charlie to eat with. Tripp had waited to eat until his wife was eating.

Mel didn't know how the Tuckers could accept this woman because they had lost their daughter in the attack on Earth. The Vulcans didn't help them at all when Earth went to find who did this to them. Mel had lost both her parents and sister in the attack. From what she heard from Emily, her granddaughter, Elizabeth was close to her older brother. So how could Tripp Tucker fall for a Vulcan. It wasn't right. Tripp Tucker should be with a human woman and have human children. Mel smiled as she put food on the table.
