Tripp saw T'Pol back was towards him as he woke, he let out a smile because it wasn't a dream. Tripp got to hold T'Pol in his arms again. It was slow last night for them, and it was what they needed. He liked hearing the little sighs from T'Pol again. Three weeks was a long time for them. Tripp didn't like to see her and not touching her like he used too.
Tripp ran a hand down her back. He heard a moan from T'Pol and her back arching. T'Pol turned in the bed and looked at him. "You need to stop because our son is going to wake any moment."
Tripp looked over her naked body. He touched her slightly round stomach. Their new baby was growing in there. Tripp hoped that it would be a girl for them. He looked from her belly to her eyes. He leaned over and kissed her. "He can sleep a few more minutes," Tripp covered her mouth so she couldn't say anything. He ran a hand over her hip and T'Pol let out a moan.
He was ready to kiss his way down when he heard the chime of their quarters going off. Tripp broke the kiss and leaned his head against T'Pol's chest. "They can go away," Tripp glanced up at her. "I want to romance my wife today."
The chime went off again, Tripp knew that they weren't leaving, and Charlie could wake from the noise. Tripp sighed and got out of bed. He threw on his clothes he had from yesterday. As he left the room, he saw T'Pol get up and headed for the bathroom.
Tripp opened the door and saw Crewman Gomez there with a smile on her face. "Sorry to wake you, but you and Commander T'Pol are needed in the ready room," Crewman Gomez stepped in their quarters. She didn't say anything about Tripp being here. Everyone on the ship knew that Tripp and T'Pol weren't sleeping in the same quarters. Tripp watched as Crewman Gomez went to Charlie's room. He knew that Charlie was in good hands and made his way to his room to see that T'Pol was getting dressed. She knew it was him and gave him her back. He zipped her suit while leaving a trail of kisses along her back.
He placed one more kiss on her back before setting the zipper in place and wrapping his arms around her. "I would rather spend the morning with you," He kissed her behind her ear.
T'Pol turned around in his arms and placed her hands on her chest. "I know but we are who we are," She broke out of Tripp's arms. "We are needed in the captain's ready room," T'Pol headed for the door. Tripp let out a growl as he followed her.
Crewman Gomez had Charlie up and dressed. Charlie ran to his parents and held up his arms. Tripp picked him up and held him for a moment before putting him down again. T'Pol bent down and said a few words to Charlie. Charlie hugged his mom before running back to Crewman Gomez.
Tripp watched them for a moment before leaving with T'Pol.
"Captain, I didn't find him in his quarters," Tripp heard Malcom say as he opened the door for him and T'Pol.
Jonathan looked up when he saw T'Pol and Tripp come in. He smiled when he saw them together and he knew where Tripp had spent the night. "Everything is okay, Reed."
Malcom turned around to see Tripp and T'Pol together. He smiled because he knew that they were back together and that was going to make anyone on the ship happy. "Well, it is good to see him alive."
"I think that he is more than alive," Jonathan couldn't hide his smile. He was glad that they were back together.
"Are you talking about me?" Tripp asked his friends with a smile.
"Yes, we are just glad that you are happy again," Malcom said as he looked between Tripp and T'Pol. He could tell there was a light in Tripp's eyes while T'Pol stood there waiting to see why they were needed.
"You needed to see us, Captain," T'Pol said.
"Yes," The captain's face turned grim. Jonathan looked at his top three officers. "We have a mole on the ship."
"That's impossible."
"What?"
"That is not logical."
Jonathan heard what his three senior officers said. "It's true. Someone has given the Romulans some of our codes. It has been the reason that we have been attacked so much and no other ship. If they take out our ship…"
"They might just end the war," T'Pol said. "With them winning."
Jonathan turned to his first officer and nodded. If the Enterprise was gone there would be no war because the Romulans would take out the others quickly. Starfleet only has so many warp five ships and the alliance with the Vulcans, Andorian, and the Tellarites would break because their ship wouldn't be a lead ship to follow. The war could take humans out of space and many years before they got back in space again.
Jonathan saw Tripp and Malcom traded a look. "I've talked to Starfleet, and they want us find who it could be. I trust you three to keep it from the rest of the ship until we figure out who it is."
"Understood, sir," Malcom said.
"How do we go about it?" Tripp asked.
Jonathan smiled he was wondering the same thing. "That is a good question," He turned to the others to see if they had any ideas to find out. He could see their minds racing to find out who the mole was. "Think about it and we'll come back later to find this mole. I don't like it and I want my ship back in working order."
"Understood," Malcom was the first to leave the captain's ready room.
After the door closed Jonathan raised an eyebrow at Tripp and T'Pol. "Everything is good, sir," T'Pol headed for the door. Tripp nodded towards Jonathan and ready to follow T'Pol when Jonathan stopped him.
"Tripp, a quick word."
Tripp looked at T'Pol to see that she was already on the bridge. He turned back to the captain. "Yes, sir."
"I can see that T'Pol let you back home, but I need you remember that you have a wonderful woman and son. You also have a new baby on the way. Anyone on this ship give for what you have."
"Yes, sir. I will always remember that. I was an idoit and I know that T'Pol didn't have to take me back and I will do everything in my power to do right by her and our children."
"Good," Tripp nodded and left the captain's office.
Tripp made his way to the bridge to see how T'Pol was doing. She was in the captain's chair. He stopped in front of her. "You need to eat," T'Pol threw him a look. Tripp leaned closer so no one else could hear. "You are carrying our child and they need food," He looked around to see anyone was watching them, everyone was minding their own business. "After last night activities you need your strength." T'Pol threw him another look before standing. Tripp smiled and led the way off the bridge.
Tripp led them down a corridor to the mess hall when he opened a door and pulled T'Pol in with him. "Tripp," She whispered his name. Tripp closed the door behind them after he made sure that no one saw him. "What are you doing?" Tripp could feel T'Pol glaring at him with her arms crossed. Tripp smiled and didn't say anything as he leaned down and took her lips. T'Pol moaned in the kiss before breaking the kiss. She pushed him away as he tried to lean down again to kiss her. "What are you doing? You were yelling at me that I should eat for me and our child."
Tripp leaned closer to her ear and whispered. "I wasn't done worshiping you before we were called away," He felt her shiver.
"Tripp, we are…" Before T'Pol could finish Tripp took her lips again cutting off her words. Tripp heard a moan in the back of her throat, and she wrapped her arms around his neck. Tripp unzipped her body suit and pulled it off before lifting T'Pol so she could wrap her legs around him.
Tripp woke to the cries of his son. Charlie hasn't cried in the middle of the night in months. Tripp turned to see if T'Pol was waking to Charlie's cries, but she wasn't. Tripp sighed and got up. He threw on the sweats that he had thrown on the floor the night before. He made his way to Charlie's room without waking T'Pol. Tripp opened Charlie's door to see the little boy sitting up in bed. Tears were running down his face. He looked up, saw Tripp standing there, and held out his arms. Tripp picked up his son. Charlie wrapped his arms around his father. Tripp started to rub Charlie's back.
"What is wrong?" Tripp asked. Charlie looked at him with his own blue eyes. Tripp hoped that the new baby looked more like T'Pol. Charlie didn't say anything. "Did you have a bad dream?"
Charlie nodded. "The bad man had Mama and was hurting her," Tripp knew that Charlie was talking about when he and T'Pol were kidnapped by Balab.
"Shh, its over and you are home with me and Mama," Tripp said. Charlie shook his head and buried his head in Tripp's neck. Charlie didn't believe him. Tripp kissed the side of Charlie's head. "I know you don't believe me, but I would never let anyone hurt you. I love you so much. I also love your mama and new brother or sister,"
Suddenly, Tripp got an image of Charlie growing up. He wasn't this little anymore. He looked about thirteen and was thinking about shaving. Tripp standing at the bathroom sink showing him what to do. He could see Charlie crushing on a girl that he won't say two words to but will be the love of his life. Charlie wouldn't stop talking about her. Tripp smiled because he would dare Charlie to ask her out and hear T'Pol in the background yelling at him for doing that to their son.
Tripp could see his son graduating from school. Tripp wondered if Charlie would go into Starfleet like he did. Tripp wouldn't love him any less if he didn't. Tripp could see Charlie charming a woman into loving, he was a Tucker after all. Tripp could see him holding a bundle of joy of his own. Tripp would be laughing as they try to figure out what to do with a new baby.
Tripp shook his head and saw that Charlie was looking at him. "Son as you grow, you are going to make some mistakes. I know that I did when I was growing up. I can't wait until you show your strengths and weaknesses. Your mother and I will be there to pick up the pieces when you get your heart broken for the first time," Tripp let out a laugh. "I have a feeling that you are going to throw a punch or two. You are my son after all." Charlie kept looking at him. "But you are also your mother's son," Tripp looked around to make sure T'Pol wasn't there when he said the next words. "She is stubborn." Tripp started to walk around the room. "One day, I think that you are going to meet someone like how I met your mother, who doesn't like you at first and then finds out that you are smarter than you look. You'll find out that you don't like her either, but then something changes, and you fall in love with her. I will gladly dance at your wedding. Then maybe one day you will bless with son, and you will understand how I'm feeling right."
Tripp looked down and saw that Charlie was sleeping. "Tripp, I think that you can put him in bed," Tripp turned to see T'Pol standing in Charlie's doorway. She stepped into the room to take Charlie away from him, but Tripp shook his head. He made his way over to the bed and out Charlie down.
Tripp followed T'Pol out of Charlie's room. He closed the door behind him. "How mush did you hear?"
T'Pol gave him a look and Tripp had a feeling that she heard a lot. She elbowed him in the stomach. "You think I'm stubborn."
Tripp had to catch his breath before speaking. "I also told our son that I love you."
"Hmm," T'Pol headed for their room. "I think we should start mediating with Charlie. It will help him with the dreams that he has been having," T'Pol took off her robe before getting in bed. Tripp saw that she was naked.
Tripp crawled in bed with her. "Do you think that it will help?"
"Yes," T'Pol closed her eyes.
Tripp wrapped his arm around her and kissed the base of her neck. "Okay," T'Pol settled into him, and they fell asleep again.
