The children.

It was the first words that T'Pol thought after she heard mama. Charlie was doing so good at mediating that he had found a way to communicate with T'Pol. She couldn't be happier for her son and how he is finding out his Vulcan abilities. She knew that it was Charlie calling out to her.

"Track that shuttle," T'Pol told Travis. "Commander Tucker," She called for Tripp over the Comm.

"Yes," Tripp sounded busy, but she knew that the moment she said it was the kids he would change his tone.

"Can you head to our quarters and check on the children," She tried to sound calm, but she did not like this one bit. She would only call her out for one reason.

"Yeah," There was a question in Tripp's voice. T'Pol could hear but she ignored it.

"Once you check, let me know," T'Pol felt that she could hear Tripp nod.

T'Pol tried to look calm as she waited for Tripp to call her back. She could feel the others on the bridge watching her. She took a breath to calm her nerves.

"Commander T'Pol," Tripp's voice came over the comm.

"Yeah," T'Pol already knew the answer.

"Our children are gone, and I found Ella laying on the couch What the hell is going on, T'Pol?" Tripp hissed.

"Come to the bridge," T'Pol said.

Tripp was out of breath when he showed up on the bridge. T'Pol stood from the captain's chair and made her way over to her husband. "I have a feeling that Jodaal kidnapped our children, and he escaped on a shuttle."

Tripp ran a hand through his hair. "I'm going to kill him," He hissed. "Why did we even allow him on the ship?"

T'Pol placed her hands on Tripp's arms. "The first thing we need to do is get our children back and after that I will let you kill him."

Tripp looked down at T'Pol and knew that she was right. "Have you told the captain yet?"

"No, I was about too," T'Pol reached down and grabbed Tripp's hand. The rest of the bridge crew made sure to look a different way until Tripp and T'Pol were off the bridge.

Tripp and T'Pol ring the bell to the captain's ready room. The captain told them to enter the room. They entered to find the captain behind his desk with Pathos on the floor next to him. Jonathan looked up to see his first and second officer. He was about to smile at them when he saw their faces. Something was wrong. "What happened?" Jonathan asked.

"I told you about Jodaal and how he wanted to meet the children," T'Pol started. Jonathan nodded. He was trying to figure out where T'Pol was going with this. "He just took the children and a shuttle."

Jonathan stood and swore. "Are we tracking the shuttle?"

"Yes," T'Pol said.

"Are you sure that he took the children?" Jonathan asked.

"Yes, Charlie called out to me," T'Pol said. "Also, Tripp just checked on the children and found our nanny unconscious and both of the children gone."

Jonathan nodded. "Let's get back to the bridge," He pointed out of the door. The three of them made their way to the bridge. "Did we track the shuttle?" Jonathan asked Travis.

"Yes, sir. It is heading to Earth," Travis said.

"It is where Jodaal has his lab," T'Pol said. "It is close to the Vulcan compound."

Jonathan nodded. "Continue to Earth," Jonathan turned to Tripp and T'Pol. "We'll get your children back."

"Sir," A young Vulcan woman came up to Jodaal when he entered his lab. She looked down and saw that he was holding a young child, and another was by his legs. "Who are these children?"

He handed the baby to her. "Do you remember me telling you about the Vulcan woman who had children with a human male?"

"Yes," The young woman said. She looked at the children before looking up at her boss. "These are not T'Pol Tucker's children?"

"Yes, Fir," If Vulcans would smile, Fir had a feeling that he would be smiling. "I want every test done on them and bring me the results," Jodaal pushed the boy towards her.

Fir reached out and took the young boy's hand. "Yes, sir," She mumbled to herself. She waited until Jodaal was in his office before leading the children away.

Fir took them to a room that was set aside for the children they hoped to make. She placed the girl on the floor. The girl started to play with the toys on the floor. Fir looked at the boy to see that he was watching his sister before he looked up at her with the bluest eyes. Fir wanted to touch his blond hair. Fir could see the emotions playing on the boy's face. She could tell that he was trying to hide them like any Vulcan child his age. "What is your name?" Fir asked. Jodaal never told her the children names. He might not know their names.

"Charles Tucker the Fourth," The young boy's chest popped out. "But Mama and Papa call me Charlie."

Fir knew that to be a human's name. She had met a few Charles while on Earth. "What is your sister's name?"

"T'Mir Tucker," Charlie glanced at his sister before turning back to Fir. "Please don't hurt us."

Fir saw the worry on his face. He was a young boy and didn't know where he was. He didn't know anyone around him. He was also trying to protect his little sister. Fir didn't want to hurt these children. "I won't you hurt you," Fir whispered. Charlie nodded.

"Can we go home to Mama and Papa?" Charlie's bottom lip was trembling. He could only keep his emotions in check for so long.

"Soon," Fir mumbled. She didn't know how long it was going to be until their parents came and took them. She was going to have to keep them safe and Jodaal off her back. Fir looked at the young boy and tried to figure out how to explain to him what was going to happen. She needed to do tests to keep Jodaal from hurting them. "Do you want the bad man coming back?" Charlie shook his head. "I am going to need your and your sister's help."

"Okay," Charlie mumbled.

Fir started her tests on the children and had them calm through all this.

Enterprise was orbiting Earth. Tripp was pacing the shuttle bay waiting for T'Pol, Reed, and Jonathan to come. This was the team that was going down to Earth to save his children. When Ella woke up, she told them what happened to the children. It only confirmed what they believe. Tripp heard the shuttle bay doors open and T'Pol came in. Tripp saw the worry in T'Pol's. She didn't want anything to happen to the children either. Without saying a word, Tripp took T'Pol in his arms. As they were making their way to Earth, Tripp tried to be there for T'Pol. He was there when they questioned the other Vulcan on the ship, and they knew nothing about what Jodaal was doing. They did make it seem that it was strange that Jodaal wanted to come to the conference with them. Tripp knew the other Vulcan were going to be no help.

"Are we ready?" Malom said as he came in with four phasers.

T'Pol broke out of Tripp's arms. Malcom shook his head because he everyone on the ship knew that about their relationship and sometimes you the touch of your person.

"Yeah, we are just waiting for the captain," Tripp took one of the phasers from Malcom.

"I think that he was giving Hoshi some last-minute instructions," Malcom entered the shuttle. T'Pol followed him. Tripp waited until he heard the shuttle bay doors opening before getting in the shuttle.

"Sorry, I'm late," The captain smiled before closing the door. The others just nodded their heads.

Malcom contacted the bridge before flying the shuttle out of the shuttle bay. They flew down to Earth. When they entered the atmosphere, it was night in San Francisco. Malcom flew the shuttle a block away from Jodaal's lab. He landed the shuttle and made sure that everyone had a phaser before getting out of the shuttle.

Tripp could tell that they were close to the Vulcan compound. He glanced at his wife because it had been her home for many years. Tripp wondered where his life would be without T'Pol in his life. He wouldn't have two beautiful children calling him papa. He would never have found the love of his life. He reached over and gave T'Pol's hand a squeeze. She looked up and gave him a look. He shook his head. She still was looking at him when they reached the front of Jodaal's lab.

Fir took the blood from the children and ran tests on them. She looked at the children and saw that Charlie had Vulcan ears along with his light hair. He must have gotten the hair and eye color from his father because Vulcans were known for their dark hair. She looked from Charlie to T'Mir and saw that she had human ears. Fir wondered if T'Mir looked like her mother, T'Pol with her dark hair and green eyes.

Fir had never met T'Pol, only heard rumors about her. When she was to get married, she took a job on Earth. The woman had only work for Soval for a few years before going on the spaceship with an all-human crew. She gave up her commission to fight with the humans in their war with the Xindi. She married a man only to save her mother and divorce him after her mother died. She took a commission with Starfleet. She fell for a human man and married him. Now Fir was looking at their two children. Fir had to wonder what T'Pol saw in the humans.

Fir looked down at the tests from the blood and found that the children had DNA from both parents. She was trying to find something different to show Jodaal, but she was finding nothing different from the blood. Fir threw the tests on the table and looked back at the children. She saw that Charlie was sitting on the floor next to his sister, it looked like he was meditating. Fir wondered if his mother taught him that. She had to think about what he was meditating on.

Mama

T'Pol heard Charlie's voice in her head once they entered the lab. She stood there and concentrated on his voice. Out of the corner of her eye, T'Pol saw that Tripp had stopped. She soon knew what room Charlie and T'Mir were in.

"The children are in a room to the left," She told the others.

"I thought that there would be more people around here," Malcom looked around waiting for someone to attack them.

"It's only logical that he would not have many people here," T'Pol said. "He just stole two children right from under their parents' eyes. You would not want other to know what you did."

Malcom nodded. "Let's hope he is with the children," Malcom pointed his phaser to the left. "Lead the way, Commander," T'Pol nodded and led the way down the hall.

T'Pol knew that Tripp was right behind her, and the captain and Lieutenant Reed were taking the rear to make sure that no one was falling them. T'Pol checked each room they came across. Most of the rooms were dark. T'Pol looked up and saw a light coming from the room at the end of the hall. T'Pol touched Tripp's arm to get his attention. Tripp saw where his wife was looking and nodded at her. He signaled to Malcom and Jonathan. They nodded when they saw what she was looking at.

The four of them made their way down hall to the last room. Tripp and T'Pol took one side, and Archer and Reed took the other side. T'Pol reached for the button to open the door.

The door opened and four phasers entered the room. "Please do not shoot," T'Pol looked up and saw a Vulcan woman with her hands. "I did no harm to the children."

T'Pol looked down at the children to see that there was no harm done to them. T'Mir saw her and held out her arms for T'Pol to take. Charlie was sitting next to his sister with tears in his eyes. T'Pol wanted to take them both in her arms. Tripp touched her back and she turned to look at him and he nodded. He knew what she wanted to do. T'Pol handed her phaser to Tripp before kneeling in front of the children. Both children wrapped their arms around her.

"Where is your boss?" T'Pol looked up and saw that Tripp had asked the question.

The Vulcan woman nodded. "He is in his office waiting for results from the tests I have ran."

"What is your name?" Captain Archer asked. He lowered his phaser.

"Fir," Fir looked between the other two men who had their weapons on her.

"Lower your weapons," Archer told the other two.

Malcom lowered his weapon.

"Papa," Tripp looked at his son. "She is a friend."

Tripp lowered his weapon. He looked at Fir. "What kind of tests did you run?"

Fir looked between the adults. "Blood tests."

"Did you find anything interesting?" T'Pol asked.

"No, only that they have human and Vulcan DNA," Fir said.

Fir watched as the others traded looks like they were trying to figure something out. "Do you know the way to Jodaal office?" T'Pol asked.

"Yes," Fir was trying to figure out what they were planning.

"You are going to take us to his office with the results from the tests," Tripp pointed to the other men. Tripp turned to T'Pol. "Are you okay with staying with the children?" T'Pol nodded.

Charlie broke out of his mother's hold and went to his father. "Papa, can I go with you?"

Tripp didn't need to look at his wife to know that the answer was no. He got down to eye level with his son. "I'm going to need you to stay with Mama and T'Mir," Tripp leaned forward to his son and whispered to him. "I'm going to need you to watch over Mama and T'Mir. Can you do that for me?"

Charlie nodded and ran back to his mother and his sister. "Be careful, Papa," Charlie yelled at him.

Tripp knew that he would be careful because he had to come back to his family. He turned to the others. "Let's get this bastard."

"Tripp," T'Pol yelled at him. "Language," Tripp smiled at the look that T'Pol was giving.

"Grab your results," Jonathan told Fir. Fir nodded and grabbed the tests. "Let's go gentlemen," Jonathan pointed towards the door.
