Sorry I haven't updated this story in a while. I was a little stumped and I figure I work another story until I come back and try once more and give you something worth reading and not something half ass. For I have been putting out some half ass stuff. I don't like it. But I slowly getting myself back up to gear and writing with my heart.

Chapter 13

The morning hadn't come too soon. Naruto could be found sitting in the center of the lake in the back of his family home. His eyes closed. His mind lost in thought.

"Kit don't get to lost in your thoughts. Your lighting is dancing around the lake right now." Said Kurama making Naruto focus on his thoughts and pulling the boy to him.

Naruto blinked a few times before he open his eyes looking up at the open cage doors before him. "What am I doing here?" He question looking at Kurama who was just laying in his little meadow looking at the boy before him.

"You're having some troubling thoughts about something. That you are even blocking myself from. This is the very first time you have done that." Said Kurama looking at the boy.

Naruto let out a sigh running his right hand though his blonde locks. "I have been having a little trouble getting use to being back in the village. I enjoyed Asgard. But I know if I want to become Hokage. I need to face all my fears. Face all challenges that come my way. For a king or kage can not run from anything that troubles him." He said looking at Kurama.

"Well spoken." Said Kurama looking at the boy.

"I am just working everything out and I guess my emotions are triggering another lightning storm. At least this time I'm awake for this one." Said Naruto with a chuckle as he looks to Kurama with a grin.

"Not really kit. You are in a relaxed state. You are in a Meditated state at the moment." Said Kurama looking at the boy as if he was a moron.

"I best wake up then." Said Naruto as he began fading away. "For I don't want to destroy the village…." Was his parting words for Kurama as he was gone.

Slowly opening his eyes as he saw the rainbow of lightning dancing around him. He softly smiled seeing the lightning dancing around him. 'So beautiful.' He whispered into the wind.

Thor stood into the shadows along with Loki watching the boy as the lightning dance around the lake.

"His lightning is more powerful than yours." Said Loki looking to his brother.

"It appears to be. Father did once say there would be one that would be one with the world one with all of nature." Said Thor looking to Loki.

"He did tell us that story as children." Said Loki with a nod of his head.

"Would he be strong without the beast within him? Does it aid him and great him more power?" Question Thor looking up to the Heavens wondering if it would give him his answer.

"If only father could tell us." Said Loki turning away. But only stopping to place a hand on his brother's shoulder. "Only time will tell if he will be the World Saver or World Eater." He said walking way now. (lol sorry I just finished watching God Eater when I wrote that part.)

Hokage Tower

"Hokage-sama." Said a Chunin as he walks into the Hokage's office.

"Yes?" Said the Hokage with a Grandfather smile.

"It appears there are reports of lightning storm happening at the Uzumaki Estate." Said the Chunin with a frown on his face.

"That is fine. It is just Naruto or Thor doing some training." Said the Hokage with a smile on his face.

The Chunin's eyes widen with shock. "They have that much control over lightning?" Asked the Chunin.

The Hokage just chuckled. "It isn't for me to say." He told the Chunin.

The man nodded their head and left the office.

'Now what mission should I give them?' The elderly Hokage thought to himself as he pulled out several scrolls looking at them all.

Training Ground 8

Naruto slowly wondering into his teams training ground with his hands behind his head as he was lost in his own thoughts. 'I really hope the old man will not give us the mission with that damn over grown bird. That bastard was a pain in the ass to place a seal on last night with all those shadow clones.' He let out a sigh to himself pulling himself out of his own thoughts.

"Good Morning bro." Said Kiba with a smile on his face as he was sitting against a tree with Akamaru laying down next to him.

"Morning." Said Naruto smiling to his friend and teammate. "Hinata not here yet?" He asked as he looked around the clearing.

"Nah., She hasn't gotten here yet. I think she, said something about being a little late today. Something to do with her clan." Said Kiba as he just sat there.

Naruto just blinked and dumbly nodded his head. "I hope she gets here soon. We are getting our first C-rank mission today." He said with worry in his voice. Less for the mission but more for his teammate and friend.

Hokage Tower

"Hokage-sama." Called a Chunin running into the office.

The Hokage looked up from the mission scrolls he had been reviewing for the past couple of hours to find the right one for team 8. "What is it?" He question not liking the tone in the man's voice.

"We have gotten reports of a bandit attacks on a village on the edge of the board of the Land of Fire and the Land of Tea. But right now we have no Jonin's and no Chunin's to take this mission. All we have at this time is Genin teams." Said the panicking Chunin looking to his village leader.

The Hokage for his part sat back in his chair and blinked a couple of time. "That mission falls under C-rank for they are just bandits and there was no reports of any missing Shinobi in the ranks?" He question the man before him.

"No, sir. All the reports we had gotten was just bandits." Said the Chunin.

"Then call for Team 8. I shall send them on this mission to clean up the bandit camp that is near that village." Said the Hokage with a smile on his face. He had finally gotten a mission to test out Naruto's true stills and see if the boy could handle a leader role in his Genin team.

"As you wish Hokage-sama." Said the Chunin with a bow and he was gone.

Next time what trouble will Team 8 get into
