Hello kitties
I know it has been awhile for the update. I am being really slow on my updates. Sorry about that. It's just I flake out at times and have writers block a lot. So I go back and reread my stories before I begin a new chapter. So it will be slow moving, but I will get chapters out. I am not dropping any stories.
I thank you all who are still with me and thank you for following, reviewing, and liking all my stories.
Chapter 14
Team 8 stood before the aged Hokage. "We are here for our first C-rank mission Jiji." Said Naruto with a massive grin on his face.
Kurenai let out a sigh. "Naruto please show the Hokage more respect." She told him with another sigh.
Naruto turned to her with a cheeky grin on his face. "It's alright Kurenai-sensei. Hokage-sama allows me to call him Jiji." He said waving off his sensei as his two teammate now snicker/giggle at his antic.
The Hokage just chuckles. "It is fine my dear." He told her with a grandfatherly smile on his face. "But Yes, I do have a C-rank mission for you lot. It is to take care of some bandits attacking a small village near the board of Land of Fire and Land of Tea. With the Land of Tea not having any shinobi as well the palace guards refusing to come to the aid of the poor farmers of the village. It is up to us as Shinobi Konoha we must come to their aid and protect the innocent from those that wish to hurt them." He said as his face had gone from kind and gentle to serious and the face of a true leader of their village.
"Hai Hokage-sama." Came the voices of Team 8.
"There is the scroll with the mission information." Said the Hokage as he pushed over a green scroll towards Kurenai with his grandfather smile once more.
"Thank you Hokage-sama we will be leaving now." Said Kurenai as she bows once more and turns to her team. "We will meet at the east gates in 30 minutes. Pack all the supplies you will need for one week. As well pack extra weapons for we do not know the number of bandits they have." She told them as they nodded their heads vanishing out of the Hokage's office.
East Gates
Naruto arrived early as he had pretty much all his supplies already sealed on his person. He only went home to allow everyone to know that he would be out of the village for about a week or two. It all just depends on how the mission goes. He just grabbed a few extra supplies he would need and if his teammates would need.
Hinata slowly walked up to the gates as a man with long black hair followed after her. "Young Mistress please be careful on this mission out of the village." Said the man as he hand her the backpack.
Hinata softly smiled up at the man. "Ko I will be find. Please don't worry about me." She told him taking her backpack and bowing to the man with a smile.
"Hey Hinata, why don't you give me your pack." Said Naruto with a grin on his face.-
"Umm…I can carry it Naruto-kun." Said Hinata with a slight blush on her cheeks.
Naruto chuckles. "Oh I wasn't going to carry it for you. I was just going to put it in a sealing scroll for you. So we can move quickly without being weighted down." He said holding out a black scroll in his hand.
Hinata just nodded her head as she removed her pack and handed it over so her teammate could seal it away. Naruto smiled sealing it and handed her the seal. "That seal scroll is now yours for all our missions." He told her handing the scroll back to the girl as she still keeps blushing at him.
After handing her the scroll Kiba and Akamaru come running. "Hey guys where is sensei?" He questions them as he stops before his two teammates and the strange man.
Naruto grins. "Not here yet. We are just early." He said pushing off the wall he was leaning on.
"So what's the plan on the mission?" Question Kiba as he looks at Naruto who checks to see if Mjolnir is attached to his belt.
"Well we need to do some recon and see if they have any shinobi part of their crew. If they do have any that are ex-shinobi it will be most likely Genin. Maybe ex-Chunin but that is most unlikely though. But we do have to be careful though." Said Naruto as he was holding up a finger for each point he was making.
The man Hyuuga was shock hearing this from the blonde demon talking like a true leader. 'This boy has been groomed to become a leader from the strange people who came back to the village with him.' He thought to himself as he also made a mental note to inform the clan head about this as well.
"What if they have an ex-Jonin in their ranks?" Question Kiba with a grin trying to throw off his brother all but blood.
"Than we fall back and request back up." Said Naruto with a grin. I know I am Sannin level. But I will not be reckless and but my teammates in danger by being foolish." He said with his grin fading and his face turning serious.
"That is very wise of you young man." Said Ko with a ghost of a smile on his face.
Naruto looks at the man. "I know better from trail and error from the missions my grandfather and uncle had sent me on before I return to the village. I only got lucky I didn't die from my own stupidly back then." He said letting out a sigh.
Ko nods his head to the young man's words. "One does learn from their failures." He said in agreement. "But I musts return back home for your Jonin-sensei has arrived." He said with a bow and turned and walked away from the group of teens as a raven hair woman walked up behind him.
Kurenai nodded her head to the man and smiled at her Genin team. "I am glad you are all here and ready to go." She said with a smile on her face. But she had a puzzled expression on her face. "Where are you packs?" She question them all.
Naruto grin. "Sealing scrolls." Was his short answer.
She just nodded her head as she walked over to the gate guards and signed them all out.
The three just shrugged their shoulders at their Jonin-sensei. The woman doesn't know what she is getting herself into with taking the blonde out into a true battlefield.
The flank their sensei as Kurenai beings explaining what is written on the scroll them. "Do you have any questions?" She questions her Genin.
"No." Said Kiba as he is petting Akamaru's head.
She looks over her shoulder to her student. "Why not?" She question him.
"For we have already ran over what to expect during the mission." Said Hinata this time around.
Now Kurenai turns to look at her three students. "How so?" She questions them.
"Well we are going to recon the bandit's camp to make sure they do not have any ex-shinobi in their rans. If they have Genin or Chunin ranking shinobi, we should be find and able to take them. But if they a Jonin level shinobi in their ranks. We fall back and send a request back to the village for back up. For we are nowhere near ready to take on a Jonin." Said Naruto looking at his sensei. He left out the part about being as strong as a Sannin. Something he didn't think she needed to know about at this moment in time.
"That is well thought out. But what makes you believe there is a shinobi in their ranks?" Question Kurenai to the blonde of her team.
"That is simple. Their attack are too planned out. It isn't anything like a normal bandit raid. As well they only hit at times of day when the village is at it weakest point. That is when the patrolling teams are mile away from the village." Said Naruto looking at her with a look of duh.
This caught Kurenai off guard at his answer. Something didn't expect from the blonde. She just nodded her head to him.
"Also the experience from my own missions from my Grandpa and Uncle had sent me on. Has given me the skills I need and the knowledge to know that there is more going on than what meets the eyes." Said Naruto with a grin on his face as he crosses his arms behind his head.
Hyuuga compound
Ko walks to Hisashi's office and knocks on the man's office door.
"Come in." Calls the Clan head.
Ko slides the door open and walks into the man's office and closes the door behind him.
"What brings you to my office Ko?" Questions Hisashi as he looks up from his paperwork.
Ko bows to the clan leader. "I have come to tell you what I have learn of one of Hinata's teammates." He told Hisashi.
This makes the man arch a brow at the nanny's words. "Which teammate would this be?" He question.
"Naruto Uzumaki." Said Ko.
"What about the Uzumaki boy?" Question Hisashi with a frown on his face.
"They boy is as strong as a Sannin as well as he has a mind like a Nara. For he was talking about the mission like he has done many like it before. As well when his teammate asked him if there was a former Jonin in the ranks of the bandits what would they do. The boy answer that they would fall back and request back up. For he said he had learn form his own past missions given to him from his Grandfather and Uncle that things can go wrong if you go in blind." Said Ko with a frown on his face.
This caught Hisashi off guard as well. For the boy spoke like a season Jonin. "Well it appears Hinata will learn from the boy. Let's see if he will make a shinobi out of her. For Kurenai has only babied her so far." He said with annoyance in his voice.
Back with Team 8
The three Genin spoke and came up with their own battle plans as Kurenai just listen and lead them to the village near the board. She found herself wondering if the boy should have been skipped from Genin and ranks Chunin to maybe Special Jonin. For his planning is on par with a Nara.
Maybe she would have him meet with Shikaku and see how well those two would do against each other in a battle of minds. But what Asuma tells him. Maybe have the boy go up against Shikamaru for the boy is a true Genus.
But was pull from her thoughts when Naruto pulled her back. "Watch your step Sensei." Said Naruto with a frown on his face.
Kurenai blink look at the boy. "What are you talking about?" She question him.
Kiba pointed to the road before them. "There is a thin trip wire linked to half a dozen kunai hidden in the leaves of the trees." He tells his sensei.
Kurenai froze at hearing this. She looks at the trip wire as she sees Hinata's eyes spin to life. "There are several bandits hidden about two miles up ahead of us. It appears someone had tipped them off we are coming." She told her team.
Kurenai frowned at this. "But who? The mission was only in the office for less than an hour?" She question freely.
Naruto gave her a deadpan look. "We have enemies everywhere sensei. So it would take much for a spy to tip them off." He told her with annoyance in his voice.

Next time battle will being and we will find out whose the spy or maybe not for a good spy is tricky
