As he continued walking where he knew the school was, he considered Ichigo's story. Ichigo was just a boy who would wind up meeting a Soul Reaper to help him learn about the spiritual world. That Soul Reaper's name was Rukia, Rukia Kuchiki, and she served in a spiritual place called the Soul Society.

The Soul Society was truly where the series would begin to shine. It was where most of the story's events took place and where many of the most powerful Soul Reapers resided. But what was a Soul Reaper exactly? A Soul Reaper is a soul without a physical body who is also strong enough to use spiritual powers, which allow them to become protectors of weaker souls. Their main duties are to act as balancers between their world and the world of the living. Most Soul Reapers are considered dangerous because they wield a weapon known as a Zanpakutō, a spirit being that often takes on the form of a katana, which also empowers their wielder.

But not all Soul Reapers wield a Zanpakutō. Some, like Yoruichi Shihōin, are powerful enough to combat others with their fists alone. Soul Reapers are formidable in their own right and know various methods of fighting. Those who do wield a Zanpakutō may call upon the spirit's name to unleash an even more devastating power. Each Zanpakutō's abilities reflect the Soul Reaper's soul. They even have their own personalities, which are similar to their owners'.

Some, like Senjumaru Shutara's Zanpakutō, Shigarami, have the power to transition into an oversized sewing needle and stitch together melee attacks like complex cloth work. And then there were those like Shunsui Kyōraku's Katen Kyōkotsu, which could make children's games come to life. Yet not all Zanpakutō were strong enough to bend reality like theirs could. Some were so small that they took the form of a dagger just to slowly heal wounds.

In essence, a Zanpakutō's true power lied in its Bankai, the second and final form it could take. That's disregarding a "True Bankai". Its first form is known as its Shikai, which can be released by uttering a special command alongside the spirit's name. Each command is different for a Zanpakutō and each Zanpakutō has its own unique name. Its second form, Bankai, has an even greater power. It could only be achieved after its owner subjugated their Zanpakutō's spirit—a process that normally takes ten years or more to perfect.

All these things aside, Soul Reapers weren't the only race in this world. There were Fullbringers, Quincies, Visoreds, Hollows, Arrancars, and Bounts. This world was filled with convulsions, plot devices, and, to Silas' favour, opportunity.

The story of Ichigo Kurosaki was easy to grasp. As long as Silas remembered Sōsuke Aizen, all of Bleach's plot was simplified. Aizen's main goal was to transcend a Soul Reaper in order to overthrow the king of the Soul Society with the help of a device known as the Hōgyoku. After a lot of experimentation, he discovered Ichigo to be part man, part Soul Reaper, part Hollow, and part Quincy! Fascinated, Aizen decided to put him through a series of obstacles to help Ichigo grow stronger.

To do that, he would send Rukia Kuchiki to the world of the living, where he gained Soul Reaper powers. Afterwards, he sent a strong hollow to him that further strengthened his abilities. Once Ichigo got used to fighting as a Soul Reaper, he orchestrated Rukia's capture, which prompted Ichigo and his friends to go rescue her in the Soul Society. There, he battled other Soul Reapers, like Renji Abarai and Byakuya Kuchiki. They were all strong fighters, yet the adolescent main character was somehow always able to defeat them. That was because of Aizen, who controlled every single one of those events.

And what made the entire façade interesting was that Ichigo thought it was his own power and his own hard work that had won him all those battles. That's what made Sōsuke Aizen one of the most dangerous characters for Silas: he was watching Ichigo's movements, spying on the boy with things like mechanical flies that went virtually undetected. Now that Silas was Ichigo, that meant Aizen was going to be monitoring his movements. If he were to do something out of the ordinary, like expose Aizen's plot, he might end up meeting Aizen too early. Or worse, he might die.

Silas was going to try not to let that happen; he was resolute on ensuring his survival. As long as he followed some of the story's main plot, it's possible for him to be several steps ahead of everyone—even Aizen.

Forget about the malevolent challenges and trivial characters he might encounter one day. All he needed was to awaken Ichigo's strongest powers before it was too late, and he'd be able to take on those who stood against him. But Silas's desires weren't to just defeat Aizen; he desired to defeat anyone and everyone. Whether they were Ichigo's friends or his enemies, he was going to acquire enough power so that no one could stand in his path.

Finally arriving at school, Silas gazed at the structure. Karakura High School is the area where Ichigo would make most of his friends. At least the friends that weren't Soul Reapers.

This school was comprised of normal high schoolers. Like the town they all resided in, Karakura Town, some of them were capable of seeing spiritual phenomena. The school itself was just a regular school. It had various clubs, normal teachers, and scholarly students. It functioned no different than the schools on earth.

Silas walked into the classroom and was by no means surprised to see the main cast present. A sudden, quirky voice yelled as he sat down, "Hey, Ichigo! You finally made it."

When he looked at who called, he saw Orihime Inou, a Japanese girl with long orange hair, a curvaceous figure, and large breasts. She's renown as a very beautiful character, being able to see souls like Ichigo and having the power to conjure up a protective barrier that could heal whatever was inside it. Yet something like that wouldn't be attained for some time now. What was more important to know was that several years from now, she would become Ichigo's wife.

"Orihime, if you don't mind, I'd like to be left alone," Silas coldly answered.

"Huh…" she responded in confusion. Her attitude quickly changed so as not to cause any drama. "Okay, I understand! Sorry to bother you!"

Tatsuki Arisawa, Orihime's best friend, tried to comfort her after seeing their exchange. Silas was sure that he was being called an idiot by Tatsuki, to which Orihime tried waving things off with a smile. That's just the type of character Orihime was: a sensitive yet friendly and caring girl who also had good grades. Silas truly found her personality disgusting.

But apart from her, the other two main characters were also in Ichigo's class: Chad and Uryū Ishida. The former was a Fullbringer, a race of spiritually aware people whose powers were constituted by a monstrous creature's (called Hollows) spiritual power. While the latter was a Quincy, a race polar opposite to a Soul Reaper. They're like men but with exceptional spiritual powers. Most of them were exterminated by Soul Reapers to help balance out the worlds in between, which is also the reason Uryū hates Soul Reapers.

This world, in all of its races, in all of its main characters, was just itching for Silas to take command over.
