Chaper 7: Pandora's Goddaughter
It was supposed to be a normal trip to the Ghost Zone. At least that's what Maddie Fenton had hoped. Nothing's ever normal for the Fenton's. Pregnant at eight months and two weeks, she was ready to burst any day now.
Jack Fenton came bounding into the living room and started jumping up and down excitedly." Maddie I just finished the spectre speeder! We gotta go test it out in the Ghost Zone, it could be fun."
"Jack couldn't this wait until after the baby's born. The doctor said I can go into labor any day now and with this big belly i can hardly get around let alone fit into my favorite hazmat suit."
The large man looked crestfallen."Aww okay."
Maddie couldn't stand to see her husband so upset." We can test it out, but only for a couple hours. Then I want to go to bed and take a nap. You've called me down to the lab six times and I'm starting to resent stairs."
Jack instantly perked up," You're the best honey, let's go!" He started running down the basement stairs.
"Jack wait for me. I can't move as fast as I used to." Maddie waddled after her energetic as fast as her pregnancy allowed.
Three hours had passed since the scientists ventured into the Ghost Zone. So far the spectre speeder ran smoothly throughout the zone and even mapped out the areas they went. They stopped every now and then to get samples of the ectolife and foliage.
"JACK I THINK MY WATER JUST BROKE!"
Jack slammed down on the breaks and looked at his wife," Are you sure!?"
"I'M DEFINITELY SURE! CALL THE-" Something rammed into the side of the spectre speeder and it started plummeting out of the swirling green sky.
"Hang on honey, I'll try to aim for those bushes!" Jack pulled back on the steering wheel to help slow their descent.
The spectre speeder was going too fast to make a soft landing. Instead it went through several hedges before making a rough stop in front of what looked like a garden statue. By this time Maddie was starting to hyperventilate.
Jack struggled to get out of his seatbelt. "Are you okay Mads?!"
"I'm- I'm fine J-AHHHH!!!" Maddie clutched her stomach in pain.
Finally breaking free of his seatbelt Jack rushed over to his partner. He quickly unbuckled her and opened the doors to the spectre speeder.
Once outside Jack placed Maddie gently on the ground. Maddie let out another painful scream.

Jack stood protectively stood his ground and brought out a Fenton Ray Gun and aimed randomly.
A woman over twelve feet tall with blazing magenta hair that complemented her red eyes, blue skin and four arms one of which was holding a spear. She wore a golden chest piece with short, black sleeves, a long black and gold skirt that barely covered her feet, black bands on each of her arms, and a golden helm with a crest made of fire the same color as her hair.
Maddie glanced up at the tall ghost woman before she grabbed Jack's leg."JAAAACCK!!!"

Everything happened in a blur. Two minotaurs carried Jack and Maddie inside a Greek palace. Jack was placed down onto a sofa in the hallway while Maddie was taken into a room with the tall ghost women following closely behind.
Jack tried to enter the room but the minotaurs from earlier stopped him." Let me in, my wife's in there!"
The ghost woman from before came out into the hallway but she appeared much shorter."Let him in."
The minotaurs moved aside to let Jack through. Once inside the room, Jack saw Maddie laying on a sofa wearing a Greek toga and doing breathing exercises. He ran over to her and clasped her hand."Mads are you alright?"
Before she could answer the ghost woman came back into the room."Apologies for not introducing myself sooner, I am Pandora, Goddess and guardian of of the evils sealed away in my box."
"Thank you for helping uUUSSS!" Maddie seemed to be breathing quicker.
"Her contraptions are getting closer together. The baby's almost here." Pandora went to see if she could the baby could be seen." Alright Maddie start pushing as hard as you can."
Just as Pandora said the head could be seen Jack decided to see what she was talking about. Seeing the baby's head, Jack fainted. The minotaurs immediately moved him onto a nearby couch in the room.
Jack woke up to the sound of crying. Looking around he saw the source was a newborn being held by Maddie. "Jack come meet our new daughter Jasmine."
"She's beautiful!" The little baby had little strands of red hair. She was wrapped in a teal blanket. Upon her chest was a small pendant with a sapphire gem.
Suddenly there was a flash of light and baby Jazz had tiny blue flames for hair and her teal blanket was now red. Her sapphire pendant was now a hot pink. Another flash of light and she was back to normal.
Just then Pandora walked back into the room."Is everything alright, I saw a flash of light."
"There was a flash of light and Jasmine's hair color and blanket reversed colors."
"I see... Not many humans have ventured into the Ghost Zone. Those who have been here for long periods of time sometimes gain ghost powers. I have only heard of one other human that has done what your daughter just has."
"You're talking about our friend Vlad Masters. He told us that the portal incident gave him ghost powers but he never said he transformed."
"To you he is known as Vlad Masters. But here in the Infinite Realms he is known as Vlad Plasmius, Ambassador of the Ghost Zone. He helps whenever there's major trouble between the different kingdoms."
"What does that mean for our baby?"
"Your daughter was born in the Ghost Zone, and as I said before humans that have ventured into this world sometimes gain ghost powers. Jasmine is so little that her body absorbed the ectoplasm around her and has become half human and half ghost."

WHO DARES TO SCREAM IN THE GARDEN OF PANDORA!
This is an interesting predicament. Guards carry these two inside and be gentle with the female, she's in labor.
